Asian Taste New York Reviews
Awesome spot. Been coming for years. Love their seafood noodle soup.
Wow the Grand Marnier Shrimp is OUTSTANDING. I have ordered it several times over the last several months. It pulls me out of a slump and the portions are terrific. The shrimp is cooked perfectly and bountiful. The candied walnuts are pleasing and different. The sauce, I would eat with a straw if I could! Gets even better in the fridge overnight. Yummy!

I came here for takeout for lunch a few days ago. The food was great. Everything tasted delicious and the food melted in your mouth. There are lots of dishes to pick from. The dishes also have variety, there are dishes from all over Asia. The new remodel of the restaurant is a lot cleaner and more modern. The place is really welcoming and the staffs are as well. I hope to come back in the future, and maybe try delivery.
Got a large tofu and broccoli with garlic sauce alongside some brown rice for $15! Good value considering I had enough leftover for basically a second meal. Very tasty also!
I really like this newly renovated restaurant The food is very fresh. The staff is very friendly. I bought chicken teriyaki and shrimp pad Thai Both foods are delicious I will continue to buy the next time I change other foods. such as dumping 🤣😉 appetizer
I love the newly renovated look. I used to go here often and it’s nice to see the old staff still their and a new menu with more variety. The food there is great and looks very nice, modern, and clean
This American Chinese restaurant is awesome! The food tastes great and comes in huge portions—definitely worth the price. I ordered orange chicken, and it was perfect: crispy outside, juicy inside, with that sweet-and-savory sauce I love. The fried rice had lots of veggies and eggs, not greasy at all. The service was quick too. We didn’t wait long after ordering, and the staff were friendly when we asked for extra fortune cookies. The place is clean and cozy, good for a casual meal with friends or family. I left full and happy, already thinking about what to get next time. If you’re craving tasty, satisfying Chinese food, this spot won’t let you down. Highly recommend!
I get lunch here often. Great vegetarian options, affordable, consistent, and they offer brown rice!
The best ever! Staff is kind and food is great!
I recently had the pleasure of ordering food from Asian Taste, and I must say that it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment I placed my order to the moment the delivery arrived at my doorstep, everything was flawless. I left my purse at work and he even waited for me to retrieve it! First and foremost, the menu at Asian Taste is incredibly diverse and offers a wide range of Asian cuisine options, they have it all. The variety is impressive, and I appreciate having so many choices. The delivery process was prompt and efficient. The food arrived at the promised time, and it was still piping hot and beautifully presented. It's evident that they take great care in packaging their dishes to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. Now, let's talk about the food itself. It was absolutely delicious! Each dish was bursting with flavor and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The chicken was crispy and moist at the same time! What sets Asian Taste apart, in my opinion, is not just the quality of their food but also their attention to detail and customer service. The delivery was friendly and flawless, which was a lovely touch and made me feel appreciated as a customer. Overall, my experience with Asian Taste's food delivery was outstanding. I highly recommend them to anyone craving delicious Asian cuisine delivered right to their door. I will definitely be ordering from them again in the future. Kudos to the entire team at Asian Taste for a job well done!
The food came out fast and was delicious. The place is very convenient and the decor is nice. They follow COVID guidelines. I especially like the chicken nuggets, crispy and juicy at the same time. Their chicken and broccoli is very yummy too especially with the saucy rice.

Dec '21 A very merry “Jewish” Christmas! May your egg rolls be crispy and your fortunes bright! No, this isn’t a Hanukkah post. Hanukkah isn’t the Jewish Christmas but you can scroll down my account to find a Hanukkah post to learn more. Instead, this is how many Jews “celebrate” Christmas - with Chinese food! I ordered General Tso’s chicken and white rice from Asian Taste. Why this? Well it’s become kind of a Jewish tradition to eat Chinese food and go to the movies on Christmas Eve. Again, why? Well because Jews and Chinese were the most populous non-Christian immigrant groups in the Lower East Side, NYC. Neither celebrates Christmas but still wanted to enjoy the festive season and Chinese restaurants were one of the few still open Christmas Eve. Chinese made a great meal for semi-kosher Jews since the meals are meat based and don’t mix with milk. So in the late 1800s/early 1900s Jews found themselves eating out at Chinese restaurants. And it’s a sort of tradition since.

Asian Taste is a new fast-food Chinese restaurant in Alphabet City. small takeout restaurant: a few seats, fairly new interior (bright and clean), modern design, and a view into the kitchen. Asian Taste renovated the space that previously was occupied by another Chinese restaurant. the menu is composed of wallet-friendly prices and a pretty standard offering of takeout Chinese food. i got some appetizers from here and they tasted fresh and well-made. the shrimp spring roll was crispy on the outside and full of flavorful shrimp and veggies. the scallion pancakes was light crispy and quite tasty. it hit the spot as I was craving some fried comfort food. overall, the food has been solidly good. also, they use paper containers that are compostable. the staff is friendly and efficient. It seems to be a family-run biz. drops mic cuz i am eyeing some noodz!
A true and tried no frills neighborhood Chinese Takeout spot. Very reliable with above average Chinese food. Just wish they were open a little later :) I recommend the Beef and Broccoli with white rice and egg drop soup.

Service was good and fast, but the food was incredibly bland and didn't taste anything similar to other places. I know that every place has their own takes but the spice wasn't close to what I thought it would be. Their crab rangoon was not very good altho it was crispy, and they gave a lot of sauce.

The prices are way to much, how are you charging people 7 dollars for 4 pieces of chicken wings, plan not even with French fries. The dinner specials are almost the same price as a large order of any meal.

beef fried rice was gross. They made it in 2 minutes which was concerning and it all made sense when I started eating it and noticed the beef was grey and slimy. I’m never eating here again
So glad they're closed. I had either glass or rocks in my fried rice. Also had questionable meat from here as well. yuck.. Good riddance!
