Clean, well-managed gem on the LES. Cats are docile and expertly cared for. I love that they have the option to migrate to the back room if they get tired of mingling. Matcha was very good too. Note it's a $3 upcharge for matcha drinks if you get the $25 hour + free drink package.

lovely staff, lovely kitties, lovely spaces—the whole experience was lovely! 8/8 would recommend going to anyone (minus if they have allergies...)

Absolutely amazing service and had a really great time there. I had some minor issues with my reservation scheduling and they were kind enough to resolve it for me. The cats also seemed well taken care of and has tons of room to roam around, including a small outdoor area and downstairs section for more space if it’s too crowded. Highly recommend this place!

Loved my visit here for their happy hour! Came on a rainy Thursday and enjoyed my soy chai (which they make in house!) and the company of some lovely cats. Staff was friendly and accommodating even when we were a bit late due to train delays. Will be back!

My girlfriend and I had such an experience at Konecko cat cafe! What really amazed us both was our interactions with all the cats especially one that looked like my beloved Westley, a Russian blue gray cat, although we forgot to ask his or her name but we were both definitely interested in adopting him or her. We also loved the tuxedo cat that jumped in my lap randomly! The staff was friendly and amazing too as well as the complimentary beverages!

My husband and I loved our visit to Koneko - the cattery is an enjoyable place to relax and appreciate the cats. Staff is knowledgeable and thoughtful. The cats’ comfort and care is clearly a priority and that’s a huge plus. The fully stocked cafe is a great. You can clearly come by and support by buying food or drink without visiting the cattery. We’ll definitely be back!

Very clean, well maintained space. We had a wonderful time with calm and adorable furry friends. We wish we had more time to get to know each of them! As a cat parent myself, I was kind of hoping to get more information on how to adopt them during our visit, but they all seem to be very comfortable living there as a while family and made us think that maybe it’s better for them to stay with each other…there’s a little dilemma! But it’s definitely a happy place for both kitties and cat lovers and we are happy for them too.

Way better than I expected! It was clean, organized and so much fun! The cats were so cute and sweet. You can’t hold them. But you can pet and cuddle. There were at least 15. Maybe more. It didn’t smell at all. The animals were well cared for. I would have adopted one if I lived there!!

I took my two daughters to Koneko this afternoon and we THE BEST time. The staff was so nice and knowlegable, and the whole atmosphere was both welcoming and relaxing! Additionally, the drinks and treats were delicious! It was a stark contrast to Meow Parlour which we visited just 2 days earlier. The staff at Meow Parlour was unwelcoming (to put it mildly) and told us that they don't have a waitlist, while a waitlist was avilable online when I checked. For anyone debating between the two, don't think twice. Go to Koneko.

Had an amazing time! The staff members wwre very friendly, and very knowledgeable about each cat and their needs. The snacks sold were great, and the drinks were all delicious. The true draw was definitely the cats. (If it wasn’t for allergies and already having multiple pets at home I would have certainly come home with a few new family members). Looking forward to an opportunity to go back!

Cats are adorable, and very humble. Sadly none came up to me actively :( ah well, maybe next time. The coffee and cake here is very good as well. Must order tickets to get in to the cat area, which let you in for 30m or 1h. There's glass to see the cats, but you must pay to actually enter and play with them.

Don’t just walk — run to this place! Koneko Cat Café is honestly one of the best spots in New York. The coffee tastes amazing, the baristas are super chill and welcoming, and of course the cats make everything even better. 😻 The vibe is cozy and peaceful — perfect for studying, relaxing, or just hanging out surrounded by adorable cats. It’s clean, quiet, and you can tell the staff really care about both the cats and the customers. I also visited on Whisker Wednesday, where they offer 20% off the eatery items, which made the whole experience even better. Great deal, great atmosphere, great cats. The only thing to know is that it’s tucked away on a quieter street, but honestly that just makes it feel like a hidden gem. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I love this Cat Cafe! I take my friends and family to visit the cute cats all the time, and because there are three different levels, it is cool to see the cats zoom from one place to another. It is also pretty spacious and one of the most comfortable spots on Clinton St.

So much fun! There were plenty of opportunities to interact with the cats and watch them play. There were two floors and lots of places to sit, so it didn't feel crowded with the other customers there. We went on a Wednesday so it was only $20/person for one hour.

So much fun! The kitties are so fun to play with and watch. I came around their lunch time so, they were a bit hangry but over all good babies! You can also adopt the cats (you need to talk to the workers about it, tho)! You do need a reservation to hang out with the kitties but you do not need a reservation to eat here. The snacks here are fairly priced especially for it to be in Manhattan. I got a cappuccino, a home-made fruity pebbles treat and a buttered (toasted/warmed) croissant. Came out to like $20 max which is great for anything in a Manhattan establishment!

It was super easy to get a Cattery reservation here! The cafe has delicious food, cute merch, and the staff is very kind. You can tell that they are very knowledgeable about cats and care about what they do. There are three separate spaces where you can interact with the cats, including an outdoor space, and the cats move between those freely.

Theee most wholesome thing you could do coming to NY! Came from England and this is one not to miss! Sspecially if you come from the country side, the best way to add a little calm your busy city break 🩷

Lovely cat cafe with a lot of space for the cats to play and explore. Three levels and the patio is dependent on weather but we got lucky and were able to enjoy the outside space. The cats were all friendly and playful. I liked that the entry fee included a drink of choice.

Stumbled on this place after dinner one night and popped in for a drink and to play with some cats. Ended up falling in love with one and adopting her a week later. The staff who run the cafe and care for the cats are incredible and clearly love what they do and the animals they care for. We have a new member of the family thanks to Koneko and I am incredibly grateful for them!

Me and my partner came here for our one year anniversary and we’re very big cat people and we had the time of our life. Got an hour with kitties for $28 per person not bad they do have more affordable options as well but we needed some cat therapy and it was so worth it. I’m really sad we weren’t able to adopt any of these kitties but we hope someone will give them all loving homes. We will definitely be back sometime. Highly recommend

Love this place for many reasons: First it's a zen way to spend an afternoon or evening. The cats are cute and represent the whole range from curiosity, playful to aloof. For me, best hanging outside & using toys as lures. Second, the okonomiyaki and hibiscus tea are fire! Third, they do a great job of crowd control. Fourth, always feels clean. Lastly, the staffer with the colored hair was super kind.

Koneko was amazing! Second cat cafe I’ve experienced in the city and my experience was calm, quiet, and filled with playful kitties. Strawberry matcha was very good! They offer discount on Wednesdays

Came here with my bff for the kitty brunch for my birthday and had the best time sitting in the sun on the catio with a dozen cute cats. Brunch was also delicious. The place was clean and staff were welcoming. Highly recommend!

Koneko Cat Cafe in New York is a delightful experience for cat lovers. The staff is exceedingly friendly and welcoming. Upon entering, you are greeted by a charming coffee shop at the front. Moving to the back, you'll find the cats residing in a cozy area. There's even an outdoor section for the cats to roam freely. If you venture downstairs, you'll discover a section with a TV monitor providing detailed information about the resident felines. Although there is no waiver required, the staff excels in being informative and caring for the cats by explaining the rules. The rescue cats are very sweet, adding to the overall enjoyment of your visit.

I came there, and the little ones were sleeping. Think that might have deterred me...until I started petting them and it was heaven. Be aware, you will have to share the room with other people; they don't have rules on how loud or quiet someone should be however. The cats, the employees, the drink, was all great...but the people that joined with us were not.

It’s a really nice space, there are two levels and the kitties are free to travel to both places. It was a little crowded however , so there wasn’t much opportunity to play with the kitties and they were sleeping so peacefully . But they are sweet cats and I will definitely go back maybe at a different time and day.

Me and my boyfriend booked a reservation and one of the staff members kept following and lingering in every floor we were in (did not happen with the rest of the customers) and we fell like we were being surveillanced. She would just stand there and watch us on floors where it was just us two. We did NOT pay to be uncomfortable. Otherwise, cats were fine, only one was playful (this was at 12PM) and the treats were tasty.
