The spicy lemongrass soup is so delicious, and the aloe vera drink is incredibly refreshing. I loved both. The servers (Vera and Hera) were amazing. Good service!

Great experience. Loved the variety of the food. Chicken wings were delicious. The bonebarrow beer tartar was interesting. First time ever trying it. Won't get it again but it was cute! Haha just not for me. The pho was flavorful. Service was great. I recommend.

This was my first time eating here and it was amazing! I got the spicy lemongrass soup and the broth was insane and it’s the most amount of meat I’ve ever seen in a pho. The server was so friendly. We also had the pork belly steamed buns which were delicious. Prices are incredibly reasonable too. Can’t recommend it enough.

One of my favs in nyc 🤫i want to keep it lowkey because its a bit small inside but they deserve their flowers. When you need a flavorful broth and god ingredients this is THE. SPOT. I get the spicy lemongrass soup with vegetables. Pristine. Perfect intersection of Thai Vietnamese cuisine. I can't say enough good things about this place. The bahn mi are amazing the bread is excellent pickles are excellent. I love the chicken one and the fish one (still need to try the beef) Love the savory betel leaf wagyu appetizer also

I liked this place a lot. The interior is cute, service was good, and my curry was tasty. It was pretty crowded on a Saturday night but we were able to wait for a table. One thing to note is that they don’t have a liquor license so all the cocktails are soju based.

Great little spot! My friend and I went for dinner and I got the boba tea, a tofu banh mi and he got a chicken banh mi. All excellent specially the bread was delicious. Also got scallion pancakes which was the perfect way to start the meal. Service was a little slow.

Delish Vietnamese fusion spot! Loved the mini pancakes with shiitake and truffle oil. The Chicken Pho with vegetables (bok choy, mushrooms and tofu) was scrumptious. Small was plenty in terms of Pho size! Seating was comfy! Happening, but not packed at 6:30. Easily got a table. Was like 75% full by 7:30 on a Sunday They also have Banh Mi, Vermicelli bowls, soups, curry, salad, dumplings, dessert and cool cocktails

Very delicious! The savory mini pancakes with mushrooms were a star. Really liked them and I think they’re gluten free (didn’t verify). The vegetable pho is great because it comes with tofu and there’s lots of bok choi, peas, and mushrooms. I love the fibre boost. And you can get it with any broth (I liked beef > chicken). It’s a great spot for gluten free friendly food. Good prices for pho. One appetizer and 2 mains came to $42 - very reasonable prices.

Nice place for Vietnamese food. You could choose your tailor made soup and noodles. The service is excellent, and highly recommend you could try if you are in New York City.

Terrific lunch at Ginger & Lemongrass on the LES. We started with the roast pork buns. Two of us had the vermicelli bowls (one lemongrass chicken; the other with pork belly). My other friend had their curry. The food was great! The restaurant is a beautiful space and the service is terrific. They also have a very interesting cocktail menu. We will definitely be back!

This place is amazing!! At 8 on a Friday night we were quoted a 45 min wait for 6 people. So we went to a bar and then was called 20 min later to come back, we could make it back later then they wanted us to but were very accommodating. The moment we sat down we were given water, I love that. And it’s special water infused with mint and fruit! The space is small but there are two bathrooms in the back and the whole restaraunt is decorated very nicely. There is a giant Buddha statue sitting on the bar. It’s so cute inside and very relaxing. The food was amazing. I got the salmon roll, and split it with my husband’s chicken sandwich. The salmon roll was good. Green tea noodles didn’t taste like anything different from regular noodles but it was cool to try. The chicken sandwich had good flavor, we got it mild but it was still a bit spicy. Portions are a good size and the prices are super affordable. It was about $15 for the sandwich. And $13 for cocktails. $15 for pho. Very large portions for the prices and quality of food is high. The ube cheesecake was delicious and had fresh dragonfruit and blueberries on top. Great consistency, sweet but not too sweet and I tasted the ube. I got the cocktail with Pandan in it and it was delicious. I loved it. It was so pretty and had edible flowers on it as well. They even have a cocktail with boba! Everyone loved their food and drinks. It was about $35 a person for us which was really good price for NYC. The tip is included for a party of 6 but we were totally okay with that. Wait service was so nice and attentive and refilled our water. I would definitely come again if I am in the area.

My friend and I have visited this location on two separate occasions and both times were a hit ! I’d like to highlight the service foremost because the staff truly go above and beyond in a very calm manner. They do not hesitate to answer questions or solve any problems that arise during your visit. The atmosphere is very light and pleasant, which directly reflects the spirit of the food they are putting out. This is the best Vietnamese restaurant in the lower east side. The pho is exceptional, bursting with flavor and you can taste how fresh their ingredients are. I enjoyed the spicy coconut base with chicken added in, while my friend had a spicy pork shoulder. Sooooo good especially on a chilly night it’s exactly what you need. The drinks and appetizers are very good as well, once again staying true to their culture and delivering authentic delicious options. Also definitely try and get a reservation during known peak days and holidays.

This place is absolutely a vibe! Cute place to have a lunch date. We ordered two lunch specials with Grilled Pork Sandwich, Summer Rolls, Fried Spring Rolls, Seaweed Tuna Roll, and Special main plate. We can go in depth and talk about each plate but we want to talk about the star of the show, the The Fresh Seaweed Tuna Roll. This was our first time having a unique and delicious Seaweed Tuna Roll. The grilled ahi tuna was rich and meaty complementing the creamy avocado and crunchy cucumber. The seaweed wrap itself gives the dish a slightly briny and oceanic flavor. All the flavors were balanced by the light and refreshing ginger and lemongrass dipping sauce. Overall, the Fresh Seaweed Tuna Roll was our favorite part and everything else that was also served were unique all amazing as well!

AWESOME! My friend and I had dinner at Ginger and Lemongrass tonight and wow, they delivered. Katerina is top notch! She is super friendly, attentive, welcoming and helpful. She answered all questions regarding the menu, brought me a separate sauce as a vegan option for my spring rolls and was at all times there for us. The food came very fast and was so delicious! Especially the purple yam cheesecake was a pleasant surprise at the end because we didn’t expect it being so good. The tap water comes with cucumber and ginger, very refreshing!Huge food portions, we took leftovers home. Can’t wait to finish the rest tomorrow. Highly recommended this beautiful restaurant 😊

Came back to Ginger and Lemongrass after several years and the food is still really good! I had the Beef Pho with the sliced rare eye round and brisket combo. The beef was super flavorful! The waitress was helpful and it was a nice, relaxed environment for a weekday lunch. Highly recommend. Just wish they had some unsweetened, decaf options for tea as well.

I loved the location and the Queens atmosphere, so I was excited to try the Manhattan spot as well. However, the dish I ordered didn’t taste as spicy, and I had to ask for extra chili oil. Unfortunately, the broth wasn’t as good as I remembered from Queens. On a positive note, my friend ordered the coconut spicy lemongrass soup, which was really good! I highly recommend trying that. One last important thing: the prices were very reasonable for Manhattan, especially since you can choose between small and large portions. The small was perfect for me, and with tax and tip, my meal was still under $20! Overall, I loved the atmosphere of the place, and it’s definitely worth a visit.

Ordered delivery via Grubhub and decided to get the coconut spicy lemongrass soup (eye round and brisket). It tasted similar to pho, but instead of just beef broth, it was mixed with coconut milk (couldn’t taste much of the lemongrass, which I was okay with). It definitely had a kick to it, but it wasn’t overwhelming. It came with the same sides you would get when you order pho, like bean sprouts and jalapeños. The brisket was perfect and tender but didn’t care so much for the eye-round steak (good meat portion). I usually get it cooked when getting it delivered but didn’t get a choice when ordering on Grubhub, so I had to reheat the broth to cook the meat. Overall, I enjoyed it and wouldn’t mind ordering it again.

Can you believe you can get a pho with beef, chicken, or pork for just $14.50 on the Lower East Side?! Their noodle soup is highly customizable: first, choose your base: beef, chicken, or vegan pho, spicy lemongrass, or coconut curry; then select your protein: sliced rare eye round, beef brisket, grilled pork, grilled chicken, or vegetables. You can even add roasted bone marrow for just $6 more! They offer two sizes: $14.50 for a small and $16.50 for a medium. Personally, I found the small size more than enough. It’s generously packed with noodles and meat. My friend thought the medium might still be on the smaller side for those with a bigger appetite. *Coconut Curry Lemongrass Pho $14.50 I chose the coconut curry lemongrass soup, which was the most recommended base in online reviews. It was quite spicy, but I ended up drinking a lot of the broth. Yet I did notice some dryness on my tongue afterward, which made me wonder if it contained MSG. For the protein, I got a mix of rare eye round and brisket. I preferred the rare eye round, as it was more tender.

Not authentic Viet food! I was homesick and searching for a pho spot nearby when I was deeply disappointed with the Chicken Pho I had here. The owner and chef don’t seem to be Vietnamese, as grilled chicken is never used in pho in Vietnam. This completely ruined the taste. Even if I tried to consider it a fusion dish, it’s simply bad. The grilled chicken meat was incredibly dry. Don’t ruin our people food with your bad creativity.
