Cafe Atelier New York Reviews
Coffee/matcha drinks are delish & it is a pretty spot to sit among all the flowers.
Boutique Cafe' Tribeca (specifically West Tribeca) in Manhattan. Indeed, superbly known as master pastries, and the day's special preparation menu, even a celebrity model from London notices. Actually, Chloe James Beaumont had to make a special order purchase on a day, which I must have twice for myself. What difference is there are small ready-to-wear dress boutique section, alongside a beautiful special flower arrangement on order inside. Cafe section, absolute swell setup, most present service by the cafe bartender.
I got a salted caramel oat-milk latte, and it was genuinely the best coffee I’ve ever had. Better than any of the so-called hyped brands in Manhattan.
I accidentally stumbled into here while waiting in line for bubbys, ended up being the cutest place and actually my favorite latte I’ve gotten on my trip. They have so much to see, candles, mugs, dried flowers, and handmade floral arrangements! I came in with no line and coffee came out pretty quickly!
This was such a fun surprise. Went in just to grab a quick cup of coffee and ended up falling in love with one of the most unique cafes. The staff was friendly and helpful offering suggestions when I wasn't sure what I wanted. The order came up quickly from a highly skilled barista. I ended up returning again later that morning just to share this special gem. Highly recommend if you're in the area or waiting in line for Bubby's.
I’m a regular here and they are always equipped with the kindest demeanor, warmth, and genuine care for customers. Plus, there’s nothing like getting some work done while enjoying the fresh aroma of flowers! And their drinks+treats are great.
I ordered the banana cream matcha latte. As a matcha lover, I was just passing by when the photo caught my eye — it looked so good I couldn’t resist going in. And honestly? It was absolutely delicious. At first I thought it might be a bit pricey, but the portion was generous and the taste… just incredible. It really made my day — thank you!
They were amazing. We ordered drinks while waiting in line for a different restaurant’s brunch and got seated right as our drinks were made. The Cafe Atelier staff offered to remake our drinks once we were done for no extra charge.
Café Atelier completely stole my heart. Their drink menu is unique, creative, and absolutely delicious. Walking in feels like stepping into a little oasis—it’s also a flower shop, which adds such a peaceful and charming vibe. The person who helped us during our last visit was incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome. I truly fell in love with this place and will definitely be coming back!
Beyond charming floral ambiance, great matcha latte and scrumptious buscuits, seriously one of the best I had in nyc. They get sold out pretty quickly, by the time I was leaving and wanted to grab one for my husband they were gone. Ample seating inside, all kind of people crowd but mostly locals. Kids especially like one carousel-like table setup in the center.
Very cute coffee shop in Tribeca that also sells flowers, some plants and pantry in addition to the variety of pastries (they had two gluten free options). I got the pumpkin spice oat milk latte (they use oatly) and it was great. Their espresso take out cups are the sweetest . There is indoor and outdoor seating .
Beautiful floral space with florists in the back making arrangements. It was relaxing to watch them while sipping coffee. Coffee is decent but I was expecting more to be honest, especially the pastries. However, I think this is more of a floral shop vs. a proper café. Beautiful space for sure.
This review is specifically for the afternoon tea service. It was very affordable which was good. Including a 20% tip, it was $70 for two people for a LOT of food. Def a bargain. The place is very cute and in a flower + gift shop with a counter cafe spot in the front. I love multi-use spaces! But I do think the service suffered because it's not a focused space. They seemed a little confused about the whole tea thing. The tea service was fairly minimal. Instead of mini tea sandwiches, it was just a regular sandwich cut in half. The scones were cold and hard and did not come with clotted cream. Macarons were good but cookies were just so-so. Still it's nice and one of those sweet little off the beaten path joints in NYC.
We got a voucher for tea for two. The place is charming, food was mostly very good but they only gave us one pot to share. In the voucher it said we could get a refill so we asked for one and they just added water to the original tea bags! How ridiculous!!
Pretty disappointed coffee and service. We ordered a Cappuccino with Almond milk, Chai Latte and Canelé. The Cappuccino taste like Almond coffee like had worst coffee in my life. The Chai Latte is like Turmeric tea, too spicy and Canelé was soggy. Especially the counter girl not nice like not greeting, smiling to offer anything as her job. If you want to go to there looking for enjoying coffee at pretty places, I do recommend the other places. Not worth it here.
