DBL Pie Pizza New York Reviews
An excellent, no frills pizza shop serving quality slices. We had the Margherita and mushroom with white sauce, both were delicious with thin crispy crust and fresh toppings.
This place is run efficiently! It is small, clean and centrally located. The service was prompt and the pizza was delicious! The flour and the cheese were top tier, and it was nicely cooked, not burned. The slice was just right. If you have not yet given them a try please do, you will thank me. There is seating inside as well.
Probably the best pizza I had while in New York. The Sicilian marg is the best
I cant believe the pizza at this place, it’s incredible. They offered me fresh Parmesan and basil on my slice and it completely elevated what was already a great slice. I’m so excited to come back here and try more slices or buy a whole pizza for a super great price! This place is going to blow up, but right now it’s my favorite little secret in the neighborhood
I’ve been coming to DBL for a few months since moving closer. It’s the best slice in NYC. When I say best slice, I’m talking “New York slice” - you know that one you can get from a local pizzeria in NY/NJ/CT. They do have artisan pizza and slices, but their cheese slice is epic. I ordered a small pie today and included photos. It was everything and more. This pizzeria should be included in Scott’s Pizza Tour along with Mama’s Too! The UWS has secretly some of the best pizza in NYC.
Even though I came late at night. They allowed me to stay and eat food for a reasonable price. The quality of the pizza was above average. Leo approved 👍🏽 .
I was in the mood for a good slice and stumbled across this spot by chance. All the pizzas on display looked amazing, but I was craving something simple, just a plain cheese slice. To my surprise, even the cheese slice was garnished, and honestly, one of the best pizzas here in NYC!
The pizza here is incredible, new location but same delicious pizza. I come to New York just for it. The workers are very nice and will recommend if asked.
OK I had to try this spot because of all the 5 star reviews...And I added my own 5 star ...AWESOME PIZZA ...Nice char to the crust, fresh ingredients...will be back again !
Warm and toasty pizza with budget! Taste amazing and big plus, the staff is super nice and friendly. The store is cute.
Stopped through here on my walk across the country. The gentleman behind the counter was attentive, quick, and the slices were delicious! Great deals for happy hour as well!
Got the white pizza with grated Parmesan on top (they didn’t have the mushroom version, but I couldn’t tell if that was because they ran out or if they got rid of that option). Quite good!
I highly recommand Service is very friendly and the pizza are delicious !
The best pizza I have ever had! The crust is thin and crispy. Best vodka Sicilian. Highly recommended!

Awesome price & taste + friendly staff
I can across double pie pizza while looking for an alternative to the overpriced artisanal pizzerias in the neighborhood. Their pizza is fantastic! Great fresh ingredients, a thin crust, easy to order and customize. And they deliver to the 80s on the UWS! Must try!
After multiple disappointing experiences at Mamas Too, my friends and I searched around for a new pizza place and found Double Pie which is elite. The pizza is great, whether it’s slices or a pie. The service is excellent and speedy. Their drink options are good. They do a BOGO everyday except Fridays and Saturdays. I cannot recommend enough. Excellent quality, quantity, and service for the price.
Excellent slice, and I love how they offer to garnish with fresh basil and grate some parmesan over each slice after re-heating it to perfection. Appreciate that the slice is still under $3 when every other place sells for no less than $6, and considering one of the most famous pizza places in the city is just around the block.
I absolutely love this place. Just moved to the city and I’ve been back multiple times. Highly recommend and the guys are always so nice.
Fast, relatively inexpensive, good quality pizza. Takes like 15 minutes to get your order usually.
Some of the best pizza in the neighborhood. Came very hot. Perfect!

I went close to closing time so got the last pizza slices available and they were still surreal, really good place and great service.

On 7-29-25, we ordered a pizza around 19:30 hours. Got a receipt and delivery time through Toast. Delivery time supposed to be 20:40. At 21:00 we called the restaurant with no answer. Approximately 21:15 we went to the restaurant and it was closed. Hours say they are open until 22:00 on Tuesdays. Disputed the charge from our credit card. No reason we should have been able to order and pay for food.
This pizza is not good nor does it look appealing. When they were on Columbus the pizza was good but now it's not. First of all it doesn't deserve to be 3.50. It tastes and look like it should cost 1.00. I walked in there before and it looked just how it did today..like it's been sitting out all day. And the guy when I asked if they had any new pies and asked why it looked like that...he says because of the air conditioning. I took a chance thinking maybe it doesn't taste how it looks and I was too lazy too walk to Sals on 102nd and broadway I went here and definitely regret it. I will never eat from there again. And a can soda for 2.00 is crazy

Worst service. Delicious pizza. The service was the worst possible. I walked in with my dog because there's No Sign on the door prohibiting entry her. I ordered a slice of pizza and a Coke. I told to attendent man I'd eat at the table. The service was quiet. After I paid and opened the Coke, he said I had to leave the restaurant. Totally disrespectful and untrue. He only said I couldn't stay after I'd already paid and started drinking the Coke. I'll never go back and will only give bad reviews.
