The staff is lovely at Ed's and the atmosphere is unbeatable! One of my favorite UES spots. Perfect place for a cozy date night or catching up with friends before or after dinner at Heidi's next door. You can also order Heidi's food while you are at Ed's which is fabulous.
This is my local. The atmosphere is casual relaxed and ideal for chatting with a friend or grabbing a barstool and chatting with a soon-to-be friend from the Upper East Side. Bring your out-of-town guests here for the ultimate humble-brag. The venue is intimate, so it feels like you're dining at a secret hidden gem. And the food is highest quality eats you can get outside a fine dining destination restaurant. A word of caution when using this for first dates: You'll dazzle them, but if it doesn't work out, you'll be bumping into them often, as this will be their new favorite place as well.
We had the best private party here. Everyone was to easy and flexible to work with and it was the perfect size and vibe for our group, about 20 people. Wyatt was our bartender and he was so easy going, nice and helpful. The wines are great and the food super yummy. Highly recommend!!! A real gem on the UES.
This place is a neighborhood gem with the chillest vibe. And, they serve the complete menu from Heidi's House next door. Smooth relaxing jazz, a beautiful bar, excellent beer and wine list and very cool bartenders.
This place is just perfect. Everything about it is perfect--the atmosphere, the food, the wine selection and the staff. This is, in many ways, one of the most genuine NYC experiences you can have.
I never leave reviews, but this place deserves 5 stars in every way. Never seen a 5 star bar in New York before, and you will not be disappointed if you’re looking for a low keyed, comfortable drink, highly recommend for any occasion. Staff and service are next to none.

This just may be my new favorite restaurant! We were referred to Ed's Elbow Room after failing to secure a reservation next door at Heidi's and this may be the best decision we have ever made. The food was amazing, the service by Wyatt is unmatched, and it was the perfect atmosphere for a long overdue date night. I will absolutely be coming here again!

Need to update their hours. Says open till 10:30 but we weren’t allowed in at 9:25pm. They don’t have closing hours on their website so I guess they can decide to close whenever.
