green lane coffee New York Reviews
Love this little coffee shop on my commute to work! The cinnamon bun latte is where it’s at!!
Excellent ceremonial grade matcha. No gimmicks. Nice space too.
Hidden gem coffeeshop on 1st Ave and 82nd street. They use parlor coffee grind . I got oat lavender latte and it was expectational. It was the right temperature and the exact amount of syrup. Very limited seatings inside (4ppl) and a small bench outside
Had a very lovely latte here. The menu is simple, but for good reason. The espresso was excellent and didn't need any modifications for the latte to shine. The cafe was small with minimal seating, but the baristas were so warm that it made the space very cozy and inviting.
A very pretty, tiny coffee shop - only outdoor seating. Pastries look great and there are sweet and savory options. Friendly staff and the seasonal coffee specials are interesting and tasty. My iced americano was excellent.
Amazing matcha! Love the aesthetic feel. Will come back to try more on their menu!
Such a cute little spot to get a coffee and relax. I wish the prices weren't so high , but I get it. Looking for a matcha latte - they make a great one
Love the coffee and croissant, and I love that it’s a minute walk to my apartment. The guy who works every Friday morning is handsome. ☺️But he gave me small coffee when I ordered and paid for large coffee, but I didn’t mention to him and I completely understand because it was so busy, and the line was long and he’s the only one working.
A lovely little hidden gem in the UES. Love their cold brew and americano! Tried specials are great toooo
My new favorite coffee shop in the neighborhood! Delicious coffee and great service.

My new favorite small coffee shop on the Upper East Side, try the matcha for sure!!
My new favorite coffee shop in the neighborhood! Delicious coffee and great service.
Green Lane is truly a hidden gem. Service is fantastic, and the coffee is some of the best in the area. Their espresso blend is perfectly balanced, and the retail options to take home have really elevated my home brews. Excellent roasting, and very reasonable pricing.
A great coffee shop with delicious well made coffees, delicious pastries and excellent service! Quick Hospitable and respectful staff. Cold brew is the best in the neighborhood and my go to in the mornings. The girls are always great and kind!
I love their coffee and pastries, especially the tahini cookie 👍

Absolutely delicious cappuccino served by even better baristas, amazing service.
Cardamon latte is amazing, it beats La Cabra hands down 7/7 days of the week.
Love my Sunday morning walks to get a chai latte here - it is definitely in my top three chai lattes I’ve had in nyc / bk! Not too sweet and perfect amount of spice :) the staff are incredibly kind as well. Also love that they have some gluten free sweet treats - their tahini cookies are super yummy
Loved the tahini chocolate chunk cookie 🍪♥️ The cardamom iced latte was pretty tasty too The place is tiny. And is made for take away rather than sitting down and chilling. The service was quick and the baristas were friendly.

I really like their beverages but almost every time I go they do not fill the cup all the way to the top or the iced drinks have too much ice. I want to keep going back but paying over $8 to only have a few sips of my drink is not enough.
I was a bit disappointed by this place after seeing stellar reviews online. I got their seasonal orange mocha and my girlfriend got their lavender chai matcha. The orange mocha was good, but towards the bottom of the cup, the orange syrup had settled and it was so sweet it was inedible. But my girlfriend’s experience was worse, her matcha had a good hit of ginger but it was cloyingly sweet to begin with, again on the verge of being inedible. And there was barely any matcha taste in it. When she went inside to fix the drink (ask for a bit more milk) the servers were not very sympathetic. I mean I understand different people have different sweetness levels, but we have never had such levels of sugar in a good cafe. I hope they can take our criticism on board and be better in the future, at least I’m glad most other customers had a good experience there

Stop cheating. I ordered large iced latte with light ice. And this is what I received the cup wasn’t full. When I asked why , she said I ordered with light ice. Are you charging me large size for ICE cubes ? They charged me full amount. I felt like they cheated on me.

To be honest I did not have a pleasant time at this coffee shop. The baristas were a bit rude and it was an unpleasant atmosphere. My boyfriend and I were really excited to try this place since we passed by it multiple times but it underwhelmed our expectations. We got the orange mocha and lavender chai matcha, the matcha was extremely sweet and the orange mocha was good up until we got to the end where it was just as sweet as the matcha. I asked the barista if she could put a bit more oat milk so it would counteract the sweetness and she got really annoyed by my comment. All in all we will not be coming back.

Horrible experience! I will never recommend this place to anyone!! Every time they keep filling the cup with less and less coffee 😳 and expecting the tips? Suuuure
The absolute worst matcha I’ve ever had in my life. I got the matcha spritz and my sister got the strawberry foam matcha and neither drinks tasted like they had even a pinch of matcha in them, as you can see in the picture. The workers cattily told me that my drink looked “like this” because of the “ube extract” in the recipe, but again, there were no hint of ube either, except for the questionable color of my drink. I basically paid $7 for a cup of brown sparkling cucumber water and another $7 for artificially flavored strawberry milk.
