Lolita's Kitchen New York Reviews
Excellent service, the place is very nice, I love the atmosphere and the Delicious food
Celebrated my bday party at Lolita’s. Was amazing highly recommend for a private party or if you just crave for really good Mexican food:) everyone loved it! The atmosphere we had our own room which was amazing, food was so good and great service. Owners are super friendly and kind they really made it very special.
Lolita’s Kitchen NYC is such a great find! The chips and guacamole were fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned—and the guacamole hamburger was absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the whole atmosphere had a perfect mix of NYC energy, authentic character, and local neighborhood charm. A great spot for anyone looking for amazing food and a warm, genuine vibe. I’ll definitely be coming back!
The food was very good (especially the salsa), the service was slow and the outside seating looked nice, but we sat inside.
The margaritas are good here but the tacos were not my favorite! The shell was too hard and the beef was alright.
The food was very good and the dining room was decorated beautifully withe a pretty arch on the right hand side when entering. I had the tres tacos (with chicken) when I had gone, and it was every bit as flavorful as it looked.
Very charming restaurant. The service was pretty slow and the place was empty, which was semi appreciated to feel like we weren’t being kicked out as soon as we were done, but we had places to be. I ate a chicken quesadilla which is a solid choice, a hard thing to mess up, and this one didn’t disappoint.
The food was nice. We got a jalapeño margarita and a coconut margarita to start the meal. Both drinks were nice, but a bit smaller than I expected. Then we got a Mexican burger w/ fries and a chimichurri steak w/ bean&rice. The burger was very nice. The steak was delicious, but the beans were too watery and the rice was a bit hard. The spinach and shallot were very good. Overall, it was a nice meal.
Great little place off the beaten path , felt as if I was living nearby and visiting my favourite lunch spot :) . Had the guac&chips and chorizo burrito, very tasty - the chips for the guac was home made and great. The burrito comes already split in two pieces and was good and had just enough stuffing. Service was friendly and fast. Overall good spot and would recommend.
When the lunchtime crowd consists mostly of Spanish-speaking workers from the neighborhood, you know this place is for the value-conscious diner seeking good food. For lunch, $7 gets you 2 tacos (which would each cost $5 in most other places). The best part of the appetizer sampler is the chicken wing which is cooked in their secret sauce. It has a slightly peppery and smoky sour tang which is quite unique, and not your typical sweet barbecue sauce. This place is not fancy but the air conditioning could be improved though.
I had the pleasure to visit this restaurant today after work as a take out for teacher appreciation week. I love the Mexican vibes that the place entails in their simple decor. The food was delicious and freshly made. However, the reason why I am giving it 4/5 stars is because of portion, and price. I paid $30 for just this. I won't visit again.
The food was very delicious and authentic. The restaurant is nicely decorated and romantic. However, the portions are quite small for the price. We were also a little upset that they didn’t have Horchatas considering this is a Mexican restaurant. They didn’t carry any diet sodas either, at least when we ate there, so we ended up drinking water. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our dinner here.
Great service! Alex and Roberto were amazing bartenders so kind and attentive. The only downside was the new calamari, which was a bit disappointing compared to the old version. The original was much better I really hope it comes back!
This what you can get for almost 16 $. Yes, the price of Philly steak 🥪 on Google maps is the "lunch time" one. It will be wiser to mentioned it on the site instead of telling it when the customer asks you for why the price is not the same. I didn't like the bread, the meat. No cheese 🧀 inside and even with ketchup, the taste is not better. I hope to experience a better Philly steak 🥪 at New-York.
Good food. Very delicious burgers. I don't enjoy getting fleeced though regardless of how much money it is. I got the soda drink. It said Lunch - 3.50 and dinner - 5.00. Fine, dinners are usually more expensive in most places anyway. I got here at 12pm and I was charged 5 dollars because apparently lunch starts at 1pm. Really...?
Their food is so good - but we are waiting past close for a pickup order that should have been ready an hour ago! Edit: they forgot a burrito and did not even refund me.
