Mila Cafe New York Reviews
A delightful culinary journey with impeccable service. The flavors were bold yet balanced perfectly. I highly recommend this restaurant.
SO GOOD ! Had the pancakes with fruit and a coffee. Delicious first time I get fruit added onto my meal and it’s so fresh. Low key- chill atmosphere. Amazing customer service. The girl taking my order was extremely kind and helpful. The only negative would be they only accept cash. Which I actually support but just need to know this advance so you don’t feel limited with your purchase over how much cash you have with you.
Mila has quickly become my favorite spot in the neighborhood! The staff and service is second to none- they are so kind, hard-working, and focused on the customer, always taking their time to make sure they get everything right. The food might be even better! It is so consistent and exceeds expectations every time. The pancakes are perfect, the egg sandwiches are better than any around, and the coffee is delicious! All simple and no fuss, and always spot on. You can't go wrong here!
I was looking for breakfast that would not break the bank. This place is super lovely and the service is amazing. They are open to accommodating individual wishes to your order. I had the Taso Special which was made super quick and the service is very friendly and accommodating…definitely worth a try!!!
Really great place to eat a wonderful breakfast! We had a pancake and a BLT, and both of them were delicious, and reasonably priced. Actually, the size of the pancake is enough for 2 persons. We also had fresh smoothies, which were exactly what we were expected. Finally, the smiling service, fast and efficient, makes this a great place to start your day. Thank you again !
I LOVE MILA CAFE. The workers (so sweet) ! The atmosphere (feels european) ! The food (Delicious) !!!! It is the best place for a quick breakfast/brunch/lunch. Make sure to bring cash because it is cash only. I don't eat out often but this is by far the most visited place I go to when i need a reliable and affordable bite.
A great little local place, a complete gem, away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. As tourists, we were treated like locals by the one man running the entire place, serving and cooking with a constant smile. A very popular place for the locals with people willing to wait for their "usuals" and all knew Sergio by name. Food was incredible, definitely the best pancakes we have ever had and for the most reasonable price.
Cash only. Fare amount of indoor and outdoor seating. The food was your standard diner eats. Prices were really good but it was cash only. Only issue is it was a small kitchen so there was some slow service between orders, very friendly. Not really an "atmosphere" but I outside has a view.
Ordered to go. Grilled panini with prosciutto, mozarella, and some dried tomato and peppers for $6.95+tax, simple sandwich with egg and bacon $4+tax, medium Latte $3.50+tax. These are very reasonable prices for the area. Menu is also quite extensive, with lots of different breakfast options and a couple of lunch options (burger, gyro..) I didnt see anybody eating outside that day (it was cold) but the seating outside looks a bit broken, and the door makes a very annoying sound, so I dont think I'd eat there for now. They dont accept card, only cash... this is not great nowadays, most people dont carry cash already, and covid makes it even rarer. All in all, good value and good taste, but not a spot where youd meet up with friends to eat. I think that's also how they can afford to charge less.
Might be good food as most reviews tell, but CASH ONLY ??? In 2025 in NYC next to central park?? I thought I traveled back in time to 2005 after entering the place… As I had no cash with me I had to leave… sad.
I took my friend out to this place because we wanted to go to a nice breakfast spot in Manhattan. The reviews are misleading. We ordered two paninis and right after ordering I want to change the contents of my sandwich, and I was told my sandwich had already begun to be made. The place seriously needs to be cleaned and organized. There's a huge fridge that is out of place at the front where the customers sit. Even the door is difficult to open and needs to be fixed. The sandwiches were okay and reasonably priced. But this certainly isn't a nice looking place to go on a breakfast date. It's more of a cheap spot where you grab a quick bite and don't stay for too long.
