I am a Frenchman not too much in spices. The lamb chops are very good. Service low key but perfect (Aakriti!) Prices are decent but not sure I had a sample to judge.

The food was amazing. I ordered the matar paneer with plain naan. The peas were the freshest I have ever had (This is my go-to meal) and the paneer had a fantastic chew to it. Highly recommend.

Om has excellent Indian food, kind and caring staff, and a cozy atmosphere. Definitely stop by when you're in the UES!

Amazing place on the UES. I ate here weekly for 6 months. Lowkey but with UES flair. Importantly the food is authentically Indian. Not swimming in oil/ butter and just the right amount of Indian spices. No wonder so many Indian nationals eat here. The cocktails are original and all worth a try. The staff:- kind, friendly and always on top of things!

So good!! I had the tandoori vegetables, chicken tikka masala, and samosas, and everything was absolutely delicious. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend to go in person or order in!

We came here for the lunch special deal and were so happy. It’s $17.95 for an appetizer, main dish, dal of the day, rice, and naan. They charge $1 extra for chaining the type of bread you want but I think that’s reasonable and worth it. Ambiance: They have a nice and comfortable set up with plenty of seating. It’s a cute cozy local spot. Food: I got the sweet and sour cauliflower as the appetizer and my husband got the aloo tiki. The cauliflower came out crispy but did get soggy half way in. The sauce also was a bit more sour than sweet and I think just needed a little more balance. The aloo tiki was spot on and was a flavorful. The combination of chutneys and spices was a perfect blend. As our main course: I got the OM Daal and it was delicious. The lentils were perfectly cooked and not soggy and the daal was well seasoned. I also really liked the balance of spices. The second entree we got was the Saag Aloo. This dish was also really nice and well seasoned. They did a great job blending the two. The dal of the day was a tadka yellow dal, it tasted like a nice home cooked dal. The naan came out fresh and was a big portion size and they gave a small serving of rice. Service: They were really nice and accommodating. Food came out fast and they checked in often to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, I think this was really good and authentic Indian food and I would recommend it. Insta: @TheShahLALand

This is the best Indian restaurant in the UES. The food is AMAZING, great atmosphere, reasonable prices, service is top notch. Their naan is to die for.

This is hands down the best Indian restaurant on the Upper East Side. My wife and I go weekly for the unbeatable Chicken Tikka and Chicken Curry. The flavors are always perfect, but the real secret ingredient is the incredible staff. Warm, attentive, and always making us feel at home.

Came to OM on Valentine’s Day without a reservation with my bf and was able to sit at the bar. Service was great and friendly! The food was super yummy… and strong drinks. I’m a big fan of Lamb Korma and OMs is up there with being one of my favorites! We will deff be back 😊

OM is a cozy Indian restaurant on the Upper East Side. Though the space isn’t large, it’s clean and inviting. The tables are relatively close together, but not to the point of feeling cramped. The food here is excellent. I’ll leave it to locals to judge its authenticity, but every dish was flavorful and made with wholesome ingredients. The samosas were perfectly fried, with a crisp exterior and a potato-and-bean filling infused with a blend of spices. I couldn’t pinpoint each one, but they harmonized beautifully. The Chicken Korma was a standout, generously packed with nuts, pineapple, and raisins, all soaked in a rich almond cream sauce. I loved drenching my rice in the sauce—it made every bite a joy. The garlic naan was another highlight, with a fluffy yet chewy texture, balanced by a light touch of garlic and butter. The only downside was the speed of service. The first dish took over 10 minutes to arrive—not terribly slow, but it could have been faster. Overall, the friendly staff, delicious food, and warm ambiance make me want to come back and explore more of the menu.

My favorite restaurant in the neighborhood. I’ve gone for both lunch and dinner. I can’t even recommend just one dish, but if i had to, I’d say vegetable Biryani. But damn, everything is so good.

Butter chicken and garlic naan were both very good. Ordered delivery and it was quick and tasty Came back to eat in for lunch. Tandoori vegetables, chicken saag, malai kofta were all great. Paneer tikka masala was on the blander side.

A wonderful selection of authentic Indian flavors and some house specials that make this a unique Indian experience. A wide variety of vegetarian options and excellent sauces. Enjoyed the paneer Tikka masala, channa saag and malai kofta accompanied by light flavorful naans. The samosa is house made and served with an excellent mint chutney. The ras malai was a perfect finish, not overly sweet and just the right texture. All this served with warmth and hospitality by a superb staff. Overall, a great neighborhood find - on my regular list.

Om serves one of the best Indian food in NYC. My favorites from their menu are the naan, the paneer and the goat curry. OMG the naan is really out of this world! But the thing that keeps us coming back is the personable, friendly service, and they just make your visit feels so homelike and warm. Definitely THE BEST that you need to try, and then you’ll find it hard not to get addicted. We’re very lucky to have it around the neighborhood.

I haven't been in person but I've ordered delivery many times, this is hands down my favorite indian food in manhattan. The chicken tikka masala is obviously amazing, and I love the saag paneer and lamb vindaloo as well. Unexpectedly one of my favorite things on the menu is the basmati rice that comes with entrees, it is spiced with whole spices like cardamom pods and definitely has a lot of ghee added, it's amazing and I will happily eat it on its own. I enjoy the samos every time as well. For the breads, the roti is simple but perfect, and the onion naan is incredible. Love love love this place.

Great restaurant for amazing and flavorful Indian food in the Upper East Side. The food itself is excellent. I particularly recommend the butter chicken, as the chicken is perfectly cooked and the gravy is delicious. Likewise, the atmosphere is amazing, with a sleek and modern design with traditional Indian paintings and designs scattered around, masterfully blending Indian culture and modernity in an elegant way. However, the service is subpar. It took over an hour to get our food. For this, I must take away one star, but overall, this place is a great spot for authentic Indian cuisine—if you don’t mind the wait.

The OM special ($18.95 plus tax) consists of an appetizer, main dish, rice and naan. The aloo gobi matar was aromatic and mildly spiced. The cauliflower in the mixed pakora was my favorite. There are only a few Indian restaurants in the Yorkville section of the upper east side, so I’m glad OM is in the neighborhood.

I was really excited to try this place. Their “OM Special” is a great deal. You can get an appetizer, entree, basmati rice, and naan bread for $18.95. However, the food itself wasn’t that great. I liked the flavor of the chicken tikka, but the chicken itself wasn’t very good. The basmati rice tasted like some type of cleaner and was inedible. The naan was just okay. I wanted to like this place, but it just wasn’t it.

tikka massala, chicken was rubbery with sauce watery and sweet. also ordered sag paneer, equally terrible. Naan was not fresh. threw it all out, disappointing.

We enjoyed the vegetable samosas, but it went downhill after that. The food is uninspired, and some dishes left the impression on us that they were prepared hours in advance. Also, it's yet another UES restaurant that doesn't put money into their space to create a very nice environment. You feel like a poor person when you eat here. We won't go back.

After seeing the great reviews, I was shocked by the food I received. The sauce of the chicken tikka masala was watery and tasteless. The kheer had the consistency of scrambled eggs. Even the naan, which I assumed couldn’t be messed up, had no taste. Skip this one.
