Pita & Beyond New York Reviews
Our food was delicious. Our waiter very nice Fernando. We used a Groupon and definitely got our money worth and beyond great staff. Would recommend to friends we got the chilaquiles and huevos rancheros
Me and my friend ate here. The birria tacos are a tad expensive, 14 dollars for 3 and 2 dollars for extra cheese and 3 dollars for a coke is little crazy, but the taste is incredible. Flavorful, “like heaven” she said. The guacamole was good, but could be spicier. The birria soup is also so delicious!! I like the lemon with the water. The onions and cilantro and cucumbers are fresh yeah and well portioned. We were full at the end, even though it doesn’t look like a big portion. They were friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Great service. 5 stars, give this place a try. About 25 dollars per person with tips.
The margaritas are to die for! Food and sauces are incredible! Our waitress Elva was SO NICE! Very sympathetic and smiley. I recommend this place 100%!
Good food but yeah if you are using a groupon they charge more
The queso dip was delicious, I love the margaritas, we ordered a mango🥭 and a strawberry 🍓 one and they were delicious , the employees are very friendly and the waiter is the best.. he was very attentive 👌 we order birria tacos and some enchiladas they were delicious 😋 we had an amazing night and the vive was perfect..I recomend this place 💯
Excelente!!! Clean place Fresh food Attention real quick (Fernando)
These are the kindest nicest people! We swung through here with an overtired kindergartener in tow after being turned away from a number of spots, and they made us smoothies and tacos and let us have a little dance party in the corner. This place was the highlight of our trip and we are so grateful. We had (very good) carnitas tacos, fries, a mango smoothie, and margaritas — and they even let me customize my watermelon margarita with mezcal; it was so tasty! What a wonderful neighborhood spot and I hope more people can come by and check them out. Unfortunately we did not get pictures of the food but here’s hoping the picture of the happy 5yo demonstrates how kind they were to us. Absolutely recommend.
We were surprised by the number of selections available. The service was outstanding and our waitress was very professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend their pita platters, as it’s such a delicious yet healthy meal! Will return again:)
It was my friend’s bday. Everyone was so nice, especially Elva! She was one of the most attentive waitress we got. Recommend!!!!!!!!

Good food. Fernando the server was wonderful
Dinner here was so good! My wife and I are from Texas, so we have some high standards for Mexican food, but the Birria tacos were very very good. We got the Groupon Deal which was about $40 and gave us a picture of margaritas and appetizer and two entrées. The margaritas were really good, and our server Fernando was super attentive and very very nice.
Used P&B for a catered office lunch for 12 and got the best feedback from my staff than any other restaurant I have ever used! I had ordered the taco bar, with chicken and steak and veggies. Very generous servings and very delicious. Even the simple tortilla chips were way better than I have had before. And the brownies for desert were incredible! I will use them again 100%!
I would say brunch was pretty solid. The mimosas and Bellinis were really good. I ordered the Chilaquiles 8.5/10 & the broccoli cheddar soup for my app 6/10. The service staff overall was very nice. Our waitress (Elva?) was great! I would definitely come back. Their standard dinner menu looks really good so I’ll definitely be back to try out the dinner menu and the margaritas!
The food and service was great. Fernando was friendly and attentive. The prices were reasonable, $5 for a Stella and Sam Adams is a great bargain. The bacon wrapped shrimp was excellent. The atmosphere was just fine, clean. Would return.
Great food, courteous staff, and an overall great vibe here. The menu is large and has a lot of options. I tried their brunch, a pizza, and a burrito bowl, all were delicious. I will definitely be back.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT HERE. The service is always top notch. They are kind and patient. The Margaritas are one of the best in the city.
We’ve gotten take out twice and it’s been excellent both times. Portion sizes are generous and food was delicious. The brown bag lunch special is a very good value for the price. We went in to order takeout on a very (very) hot day and they offered us cups of water while we waited. We figured it would be small paper cups but they brought us glasses of ice water with lemon, which we really appreciated. We have had various bowls and wraps, as well as fruit smoothies. The smoothies are really good. We will be back, and appreciate the good service: food is prepared quickly and was very fresh.

It was a great experience with Elva she is beyond amazing 🤩 I watch how she take care of everyone even me and she ensure we were good and her smile warms my heart ❤️ we definitely coming back thank you Elva 🤞🏽😊 she deserves a raise
Amazing value for brunch via Groupon! Even without Groupon, bottomless brunch is still only $32! Service is excellent! 👌 We enjoyed everything, ate every bite, and had several adult beverages. Heineken bottles are included in the brunch deal! There are decent vegan options here, but mostly vegetarian. We will be back!

The lady working there was very attentive and hard working. She was tending to all of the tables and made sure to change my gf's order when it was wrong. However, the menu was very confusing and needs to be changed. We ordered a wrap that had a "V" next to it, meaning it was Vegan. Upon receiving it, it came with chicken inside and when asking the lady, she just informed us that we needed to specify it as a platter to make it Vegan. Nowhere in the menu did it state this and we do not understand why this dish was under the vegetarian section. Furthermore, my order was wrong as well. I ordered a wrap with rice in it and when I got my order I saw no rice at all in the wrap. This was the second mistake they made (first one being my gf's order), but I decided to not complain because I didn't want to stack more work for the lady and just ate what I got. Finally, when I paid for the meal, one of the workers failed to bring me a receipt that showed how much I paid. Im guessing they had new workers which is why im not going to make this a harsh review, but it is really unfortunate. Other than that everything else was satisfactory.

Came here thru a brunch Pulsd deal trying to promote this place and I can see it needed it. Place looked mid. Food was ehh, but probably the only good bank for your buck. The Server was attentive but all the drinks I would order were so awful. Like, I couldn’t hold one drink down and NOTHING tasted normal. Margaritas were awful, The mimosas were awful. Like, do not come here for the drink lol that bartender is truly awful, just come here for the food and just go next door to Fumo. Or just go to Fumo tbh. Better food and Great drinks. Oh-but the strawberry shortcake was lit. Tasted like warm tresleche cake with icecream and strawberries. 💪🏼
The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the place did not have the AC on despite the temperature outside hovering in the high 80s. I was about to leave when I noticed the two ceiling fans. Not the best, but I was already inside, and the place looked clean. So I sat down under one of them. I ordered the Lamb Shawarma platter priced at 15 bucks. Reasonable for Murray Hill. The service was fast and friendly. A pleasant experience so far. My day changed once I saw what looked like a round piece of toasted wonder bread next to my plate. I pointed at this puff of lukewarm bread and asked in Spanish lo que era? Pita was the reply. The fact that the staff speaks Spanish speaks volumes. Another look at the menu shows they also serve fish tacos. I thought maybe middle eastern food was the wrong choice. The meal left little doubt. The Hummus was mid-level at best. The salad was most likely prepared someplace else. The meat, while nicely seasoned, was overcooked. I won't be coming back, but should you find yourself inside with a menu in your hand, try the fish tacos or, better yet, leave.
