Pizzacafe New York Reviews
It was a nice and quiet place to have choices of thin crust pizzas 🍕.
I really liked the pizza. The crust was crispy.

Pizza was fresh and tasty! Reasonably priced for NYC and the owner was lovely. Will be going back.
One of the best pizzas in the city. The staff is very nice and kind. The cheese and sauce ratio was great. The crust was nice and crunchy. Would recommend 10/10.

Very nice place and the slice really hit the spot. Highly recommend coming here

Great food and service! Genuinely, the best homemade, FRESH, pizza I’ve had in all of NYC! Had GF options aswell, which was good.
It was a bit expensive but it was worth every dime ! I got a slice of pizza and a chicken Caesar salad . It truly was delicious and they were very accommodating, i wanted to add extra sauce on my pizza and they gave me no problem at all. The food was hot and delicious and the place was very clean . I definitely will be back .

Went to Times Square and was walking back to Penn station and kids were craving for NY style pizzas ..🍕 there weee so many pizza shops in 8th Avenue and we picked this one , looking at the tables inside to sit and eat . Good space inside : they display so many pizzas 🍕 and you can see them from outside . The presentation makes you go in ! Service was very average .. the lady looked very tired and wasn’t giving us the answers .. they masked out the price of pizzas in the menu board , and when we asked the price , they were kinda annoyed . Was slightly expensive but ok for the location ! Pizza 🍕 taste was good. Of course they heated up the pizza , which were already in display .. not sure how fresh those were but tasted good . They also have strombolis , salads etc . Not much of vegetarian options . I asked for eggplant but they didn’t have it . They had a lot of options for meat lovers . Overall an average experience but nicely located ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Pizza was okay, but certainly not any better than the dozens of places in the area selling it for half this price or less. We had reached a moment of exhaustion and just needed a warm place to refuel and this fit the bill. Which is honestly probably why the pizza is more expensive, you're paying for the dining room and bathroom. There's additional seating upstairs. And there's also a salad bar which looked pretty good. Not a huge selection of drinks though. We sat in the window bar and watched the people in line for the sandwich place next door. It was out the door and down the street. I don't know what was so special about those sandwiches (looked like crusty bread, ham - maybe a panini?) but from our vantage point I was perfectly happy not standing in a line and sitting in a restaurant to eat my satisfying-enough pizza.
Nice strategic location, stays late to grab a bite. Average quality, good service and affordable. No line up

I loved the food it was excellent. But service is terrible. Sadly the lady was very rude and we will not be coming back.
Solid food but not the best place to try New York style pizza. I came here with my wife and we were a little disappointed. Huge Chicago style pizza fans but I think this doesn’t do New York style any justice. Just was dry and hardened…could be the way it’s prepared that is the problem. Good location and nice atmosphere though!

It's ok. Pizza was fresh but not particularly inspiring. Just convenient if you are nesrby, hungry and want something quick and cheap
Place is really dirty and not very welcoming. Staff is very friendly tho and pizza was also good despite too less Salami on it. It needs a makeover!
Bland pitiful pizza. Place was sweaty hot. Not clean.

Pizza was fine. Cashier was not. She was in a huge hurry and pressured me to pay cash. Then just kept the change when I did pay. Bathroom could use some cleaning. Don’t make the hunger trap. Go to any of the other pizza places.
Don't do it. The worst pizza I've ever had in NYC. Plus, they don't have heat. I could see my breath inside the restaurant (and I use that term very loosely). The staff was nice enough but that didn't make up for the lack of quality.

$24 for three slices and two cokes. Horrible pizza. No flavor at all. Didn’t even want to finish my slice. Employees are not appreciative or happy that you are there. Not sure how we fell into the trap of coming into this place. Save your money and grief and go somewhere else. 7-Eleven has better pizza than this place.
The worst pizza and the service. DO NOT go here. Rip off $5 per slice. Othe pizza place is better
Waaaaay overpriced garbage. A slice of pizza is $6. A can of coke is $3.50! I put the coke back! The pizza is cold then reheated for you. Better to go to 9th ave 1 block over where they have a 99 cent place which makes fresh pizza. Come here only if you are desperate for a bad nyc experience.
This place is an embarrassment to New York pizza.. how does pizza have no sauce!!! Are you serious? $6 for a slice of bread and cheese. Sad and disgusting.

Ordered two different slices of pizza. Both were flavorless even after adding salt and pepper and sprinkling cheese! Never had bad pizza before until today. Had to ask them to even reheat it because it was room temperature. Great customer service, though.
