I’m pretty glad I didn’t go on a weekend or on a super busy night. This place has been on my list for a little while and I came in on a Sunday evening evening where the bar was virtually empty. There was maybe six patrons at the bar. The vibe is amazing from the moment you walk in. The bartender is very friendly And offers you complementary water as soon as you sit down. I love the neon lights inside as well as the disco ball. The menu is super creative and takes a spin on many classic cocktails. I tried the pistachio my Thai, which was mind blowing. It’s one of my favorite drinks now in New York City. And my girlfriend got the espresso martini. The whipped cream on top was amazing. The presentation on every cocktail is very well executed. Even the touch of the embossed gold chocolate coin was a nice touch. The attention to details even down to the napkins was great. We love the little nooks that they had in the back of the bar, which makes it better for a group setting. I can understand why maybe some people would’ve left it a bad review coming on a busy night, But I would recommend to give this place another chance. I would love to come back here and try more of their cocktails. They are a little bit on the pricier side for about $20 each , but it is New York City and they aren’t skipping on any of the ingredients. I think the best time to come would be on a weekday during happy hour. Can’t wait to come back. 5/5 Stars

Romeo’s is my new East Village go-to. The Hugo Spritz hits perfectly, happy hour deals are solid, and yes, they really serve dinosaur nuggets. Cozy vibes, good pours, and worth the stop every time.

LOVE this bar. So quirky. 12/10 vibes. They had a pizza pop up once and it was soooo good. Cucumber gin & tonic, pornstar martini, cosmos are all fab drinks. They usually have some seats but it totally can get busy. A bar that’s not afraid to be different. I loveeee it

This is the perfect spot for some post work happy hour drinks or intimate date spot. The lighting creates a cool atmosphere and the bartenders are incredibly friendly. There’s also some bar snacks available perfect to pair with their craft cocktails. Highly recommend checking this place out for a drink or two.

Sexy vibe, dope music (loud but still talkable), and a younger crowd. No paper menu—just a photo board on the wall. Cocktails are tasty, though a little on the sweet side. Fits the mood just right.

Overall rating: 4.8 What a fun spot! I found this on TikTok and it looked like a cute date spot. It’s very dark. And the music is a tad loud, but good vibes. They don’t have happy hour even though we went during happy hour times so that was a little sad. But at one point the bouncer gave out free shots to all of the females which was really sweet. They also give you popcorn which was also good. My date had the espresso martini and I had the elote old fashioned. The espresso martini was goood. It came with whip cream which was a bit fun. But the old fashioned was so flavorful. Will definitely be back and try other items. Or get the old fashioned again. 1. Elote Old fashioned 2. Espresso Martini 10. Cheesecake Clarified Punch (not good) Highly recommend!

I came to NYC just to see this awesome place. I was visiting Chicago and came across Romeo’s on my IG (@nicholas_pantoja). I then researched this place and planned my next trip to here and the bartender shared “Paradise Lost” and “Super Bueno” and I had a blast at both places. I am a fellow craft cocktail bartender and create awesome cocktails and helped 5 businesses open in upstate NY. I loved Romeo’s a lot; highly recommend everyone visits this place when visiting or living in NYC 😊. So happy I was able to experience their creative visual journey. Keep being distinctive and innovating, you’re awesome Romeo’s! If there were more than 5 stars, i’d give it to you 🙌. Huge fan.

Absolutely outstanding cocktails and immaculate vibes. The only cocktails we tried so far are Elote Mezcal Old Fashioned and Guava Paloma. I am torn between wanting to try other cocktails on the menu and ordering the ones we already had again. It’s a real Shakespearian dilemma.

Vibes are awesome in here when it’s Romeo’s but now that it’s the holiday pop up with Gnomeos it really steals my heart. The cocktails and staff are awesome and their bites are great. I always bring my friends here and I gotta say it’s a great addition to the neighborhood. If you haven’t been you’ve been missing out. The pistachio mai tai and chocolate Negroni are my personal favorites but don’t shy away from the other offerings I literally drank them all. I love even being here solo just crushing beers taking shots and watching classic throwback movies that bring me back.

I was in NYC a few weeks back and popped in to check Romeo’s out! My experience was more than exceptional! The bartenders were so welcoming, kind and engaging. My friend and I just had the best time sipping on cocktails, snacking on popcorn and enjoying the atmosphere.

There's been a few recent reviews about this hot spot in East Village that are incredibly unfair and needs to have the record set straight. What Evan (Proprietor) and his team have built on St Marks is truly special, and perfect for the neighborhood. The hospitality is always on point, no nonsense and attentive, the drinks are all easy to understand, well balanced and delicious, and they probably have the best hot dog in NYC. (Ya, I'll get some heat for that I'm sure, but try it before you @ me). So let me set the record straight, Romeo's is great, if you don't like it, there's plenty of other options in the area, and none of them should be running to Google in an attempt to hurt a small business trying to do good things in the neighborhood.

A true bartender! He made a Vieux Carré and was kind of happy I asked for a classic like that. Apparently, I was the first to ask for it, and it was great!

This place is incredible. Came here for a quick cocktail before dinner and they are decked OUT for Christmas! All holiday themed cocktails, free popcorn when you sit down, and Donnie the bartender was so friendly and welcoming. Can’t wait to come back when they’re not doing a Christmas theme because ven the holiday cocktails were immaculate. Highly recommend!

Planned the after dinner birthday drinks here & they even allow you to bring a cake (they charge $40 if you want them to cut it up and serve which was worth it for my group) the team was so kind and on top of everything that they made our night wonderful! Thank you all for a great night!

Great bar with delicious drinks and extremely friendly bartenders. We stopped in at around 9PM on a Saturday night before our dinner reservation and absolutely loved the atmosphere. We paid with Blackbird and it was super smooth as well - they were aware and knowledgeable on it.

Great little place on St. Mark's -- definitely a little pricier compared to the other happy hour spots on the street. Their drinks were very fun and unique, which I was a fan of. Their pornstar highball was yummy but not very strong. The dirty martini was good!

You can easily walk-in. Small space. Diverse crowd. The cocktails were not great. If I am paying $21 for a Negroni, it better be well-balanced and it wasn’t. My friend got a Mai Thai and it was too sweet.

Very cute. Tuesday bingo is a blast. But $22 for a standard mocktail is a ripoff - order with caution.
