Slate New York Reviews
I Had such an amazing time at Slates. The energy was amazing, bartender/serves was fast, Dj was good and very diverse. There was a security name Drizzy who was very professional and stayed on his job. I didn’t get to try the food because the kitchen closed at 11 but the over all experience was amazing. Definitely a great space for birthday celebrations/Large groups.
Dope place to entertain friends or a date. No cover charge before 10 so that's always a plus. Endless games, the DJ was on point and the drinks did not disappoint. I'd definitely go back. 👏🏾
Came for my job's holiday party. This wasn't a visit made for a personal get together... so everything was paid for in advance. I had fun, but that makes things a little better :) There was a slide to get downstairs and lots of games to choose from. I had a blast! Unfortunately, I only saved one picture.
Great atmosphere. Went on a weekend for my birthday. There is a wait line that goes around the building but the place is worth the wait. Lots to do once you’re in. There is a coat check, which I loved. The first floor has a live DJ and dancers and there is a tube slide that takes you to the games on the ground floor. Great weekend spot!
This was such a fun place to visit! We stopped in for a cocktail and enjoyed the free games that were out on the tables, along with the long gold foosball table. We absolutely went down the slide to get down to the main area of the building. Music was great, and the staff was very friendly.
The place is absolutely fun and enjoyable with cool ambience. Visited on a weekend and unfortunately the service wasn't the best. No server showed up, so we helped ourselves with our drinks and mocktails from the bar. My bartender definitely understood the assignment and gave me a delicious moctails despite not having a moctails menu. The games are fun and place is a good hangout spot.
I celebrated my birthday at Slade and there was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had hands-down best birthday ever
Awesome club featuring a dance floor on the main floor and a slightly more chill area downstairs. Prices for drinks are your typical super expensive new york club prices. Music selection is on point and they offer really cool DJ performances on weekend nights. Location is great too with other nice clubs and plenty of food options nearby for those long party nights. Some nights have a boderline crazy cover charge especially if you get here later at night. So be prepared to spend 💰💰💰
A great place to great friends together for a night out! Loved the games downstairs and the music!
Visited Slate for my best friend's birthday night out and we had a great time. Atmosphere is very cool. Each area had slightly different music so it was nice to move throughout the place and find what we liked. The slide is very cool. There's also a couple bowling lanes downstairs so that was interesting. Bartenders were great. Drink prices are on par with other clubs in the area. Waiting in the queue wasn't terrible. On a frigid February night, it felt like a long time but in reality we got inside in under 45 minutes. Coat check was mandatory but only $10 so not terrible. Great place to go with friends or even by yourself. I mostly danced with strangers and had a great time. Women didn't get charged for covers. Guys that were with women didn't get charged. But groups of just guys were charged.
Super fun spot! I came here to celebrate Halloween with friends and had a great time. There’s 2 floors, each had their own DJ/ bars. If you don’t feel like taking the stairs, you could use the slide to get down to the lower level where they had a bunch of games to play. Really nice place to party, the only thing I didn’t like was security being “hands on” and physically moving people out of the way while trying to get through crowd. Overall, we had a good time and I would go back to see how it is when it’s not a holiday event.
The music was on point and the atmosphere was extatic! I had a wonderful time with friends. The games at the table makes drinking even better!

We went on a (rainy) Tuesday night so consider this is not indicative of them at their busiest. There are 2 private bar areas right off the lobby with private doors available. If it wasn't for the lobby floor being slippery from the noreaster, there is a slide going from the lobby to the basement. There is a private area in the basement as well. There are distinct areas for sitting, games, an arcade and the bar. The 1 server came to us very quickly and our food came out quick. Innovative sauces for the chicken strips with more of an unannounced salad than picked veggie garnish, the fry basket was GIGANTIC and perfectly golden brown. The standout was the (perfectly cooked medium) sliders on GARLIC KNOTS! Some may not consider this a restaurant but I would go back for the food next time I am in the city.
Always a fun time here. Been here a few times but it was my first time playing the games - had a great time with friends. Can get pretty crowded depending on the time. They have a full bar and are generous with their pours. The food was really well prepared and the shrimp nachos sent my tastebuds on a trip lol. This is a go to spot for dates or hanging with friends.
Love this place, it’s extremely fun, the music was a bit harsh, and there weren't many tables to sit on. But the rest was awesome, the food was really tasty and it has a good size. The bar has big board games and arcade type. Service: 5 starts, very kind Food: 5 starts, really tasty Prices: 5 starts, very according to the service offered Drinks: 5 starts, they are really strong Environment: 5 stars, entertaining, clean and friendly. Others: 4.
WOW!!! This was such a fun bar and a great place to go with a group of friends or date night. You can get in by taking the slide down or you can take the stairs. They have so many games to play from pool to bowling to basketball. The music was great too as well as the drinks. I cannot wait to come back here!
I can imagine my experience being totally different on a weekend night when it’s packed with people, but ended up going to Slate for a mid week comedy event. The vibe was great, helpful staff, and food was descent. I’d highly recommend going to Slate on an off peak night if you really want to experience the establishment. Otherwise on a weekend, your likely opt’ing in for overcrowding, over stimulation and lines. We had a whole pool table to our selves (2people) and even got to play other games. I would certainly go back on the right evening.
Super cool, vibrant & different lounge/club with a slide to express yourself down into the fun (I found this extremely dope). On the main floor there is a bar and the club, down is the game level with massive space to entertain yourself with the arcade games, mini bowling section, jenga or lounging plus this is a great place to watch sports or events. I went on a Saturday night and of course the place was packed with good music and good vibes, I enjoyed myself with my husband while there yet in my opinion I think we would have had more fun & enjoy better all the games if we came with our own crew, definitely this is the spot to come with a group of friends.
Slate was super fun! My friends and I got a table for my birthday and the service was fantastic as well as the set up of everything. The music was amazing, everyone was just having a blast. Thank you to Joe the Director and Eva our server! It was a wonderful time!
First time here! We celebrated my partner's 30th birthday with 30 people at Slate. Joe and the team made this special day very memorable. Joe assisted me throughout the whole process and ensured my partner was surprised. They offer a great package deal, and we opted for the all-inclusive drinks for 2 hours. This place is three floors of fun! I love the atmosphere, and the DJ was great. The food was also excellent! Couldn’t recommend them highly enough!💫 Ask for JOE!
My team and I did a team building at slate and we had an awesome time here! There is so many different things to do and a whole bar just for us! There is an upstairs bar and a downstairs Bar where the games are at.. I had the most fun at the mini bowling definitely coming back to this place!!
First time here and the bartender was AMAZING. Had the absolute best time. Drinks? On point. Food? On point (shockingly for bar food) vibes ? On POINT. SO glad I picked this place for my one day off in forever. DEF will be coming back. Only when Mariah is working tho!!! She’s the absolute best !!!!
I planned a surprise birthday celebration for my boyfriend and his friends here last weekend. EVERYTHING- collecting info about reservations, making the reservation, Slate's responsiveness whenever I had questions or needed to modify my reservation (Joe Cusmano is wonderful), arriving, the service and food, the atmosphere and music, the availability of games and space to dance, the seating, the cost per person... even the amount of time we had our spot for- it was all amazing. I felt taken care of from the moment I made my first call to Slate until we paid and left. All the information was given to me upfront and there were no surprises. We all had such a great time. They are super professional and kind, and the place itself is very lively and fun. Also love some of the photos taken of us! Very thankful to Slate for making this process smooth and our birthday celebration special. Highly recommend!
Came by on Sunday with friends. Moriah was our bartender and she was terrific! The activities were so much fun and the service was incredible. Staff was attentive and made sure we had a great time. Will definitely be coming back!
This is one of the best places to hang out and have fun. I've been to a few event there so far. Just want to mention that Moriah was exceptionally attentive to us and our party. We definitely recommend this place to all our friends and NYC community.
Slate NYC – A Whole Vibe from Start to Finish Pulled up to Slate NYC for a birthday and had a time! From the jump, security was cool, cracked jokes—set the tone for the night. Downstairs was spacious and vibey (FYI: AT&T users, signal might dip but there’s WiFi). Shoutout to Krissi, our waitress—super sweet, just be patient, she’ll take care of you. The food? Fire. Tacos, garlic parm wings, fries—everything hit. No videos because we were too busy eating. Our suite had games—darts, Jenga, Connect Four, plus pool tables, foosball, arcade games, giant UNO and more. It’s a fun spot, not just a “stand around and look cute” kind of place. When the DJ hit, it was up. She even took requests and had the whole room singing. Once it hit 2am, they moved the party upstairs—and that’s when the club started clubbing. Bottle service, energy, music—10/10. If you’re looking for a spot with good vibes, great food, games, and music that’ll have you lit all night—Slate is it. I’m definitely coming back.
Slate NY is an experience, not just a venue! 🎉 Came here for a work event and was seriously impressed — where else can you enter via a slide 🛝 and immediately be surrounded by arcade games 🎯, multiple levels 🆙, and flexible event spaces that cater to any vibe? Whether you’re hosting something corporate 💼, social 🥂, or just plain fun 🎲, Slate has the perfect setup. The space is smartly designed to keep groups separate but energized — and the coat check is a lifesaver 🧥✅. Bonus: It’s conveniently located between Grand Central 🚆 and Penn Station 🗽, so getting there is a breeze. Definitely a go-to spot for memorable events in the city! 🌆
🔥 A Spot You Just Can’t Miss! 🔥 One visit and I was hooked – this club has it all: amazing vibes, great music, crazy cool design, and tons of fun, unique games that take the experience to the next level. Between dancing, laughing, and challenges – there’s never a dull moment! If you’re looking for the perfect night out with good energy, this is the place to be. 🎶🎯🙌
First time from the international notice nice to game big and the difference between total dancing very good other the people rules for significant valuable to the people board members of women a lawsuit to be sexually harassed at but they are people not touch about notice before the people are they people very respectful of request notice to speak of don't mind the opportunity for notice free to dance period about I am fearful to stop not more of dance and resigned about notice very good from hot a women but they ruled very carefully but touch very risky!! Other items are favored to social talk to done.
I really enjoyed my time here. I came on the Sunday before Indigenous People’s Day! The games were set up nice and the music they played was pretty decent. I really like their mini bowling alley, it was definitely a favorite amongst the crowd. By a certain time after their “special guest” arrived, Mr. Commodore who I believe is an IG comedian; we played an adult version of musical chairs it was hilarious and so much fun. I definitely want to return, it’s a great way to interact with strangers all while having a good time in a safe environment. I also ate while I was there, the food was delicious.
Such a fun nightclub! I loved the lights, the cool aesthetic, and all the games from Uno to electronic games and even bowling, there’s always something to do. They have a slide too! The vibe is super fun and perfect for dancing and hanging out. Drinks are a bit on the pricey side, but overall, it’s a great spot to let loose and have a great time!
Beautiful club. It was fun music was good. Exciting crowd so people were dancing having a good time! Wasn’t packed at all so there were plenty of places to sit. Don’t remember paying anything on Fridays. Saturday I believe it’s a $20 cover. 21+ age limit. Dress was dressy casual, however there a few people in sneakers. Definitely pregame before coming drinks are not cheap anywhere in Manhattan.
Slate NYC is a vibrant nightlife spot in Chelsea, offering upscale entertainment with pool tables, ping pong, karaoke, and even a slide. The atmosphere is sleek and energetic, perfect for parties or group outings. Drinks are pricey, but the fun vibe and friendly staff make it a great pick for a lively night out.
Beware if there is another event occurring the staff will leave you ny yourself and you will have to order straight from the bar.
The company I work for rented this venue for a couple of hours. The beer and wine were a part of the package. I do wish there were more wine options but we had a fabulous time! I bowled some and had a blast! (A mini version) Other team members played pool, connect four and ping pong. Oh yeah, and some of us brave souls took the slide down!😁
I will start off by saying the overall experience was amazing and only one major thing was disappointing. I reserved a home base table for my wife’s birthday party which was a simple process. The staff member I spoke with for any changes to the reservation was very accommodating. The food there is great and the games help to keep socializing fun and interesting. Our host was very kind throughout the night and did an amazing job looking after our group. Unfortunately, I should’ve asked about the cake policy earlier. I am used to places allowing you to bring an outside cake in. A host told me when I called the day of that bringing a cake was fine and there would be a $50 cake cutting fee. Unfortunately, security almost did not let us bring the cake. Front desk let us refrigerate it, then take it afterwards. They had an in-house $75 cake, which I don’t recommend. It was small and the slices were paper thin. There was a miscommunication which did not ruin the whole night. Overall, I will still highly recommend this place for a party because the service is still pretty great!
Slate New York is a fashionable adult playroom with food and beverages. They have a cloakroom and additional areas to accommodate special engagements as well as live entertainment. We were at this facility for a private event. Nevertheless, all staff were cordial and friendly. The atmosphere was just stunning with all types of fun and games in the downstairs area. We were absolutely enamored by the décor and illumination.
This “Gaming Club” is cool in all the little activities it has to offer. I didn’t get a chance to eat any food because it was too packed and couldn’t find a server. This place a tad expensive, drinks are above $17+ for the most basic mixes. The giant games you play are $2 per player. I only visited the ground floor and bottom floor, the bottom floor has NO cell phone service for AT&T users. My friends with T-Mobile and Verizon had some depending location. I really wanted to go bowling but there was way too many people waiting. I feel like if you want to play any games it’s better to come during the day time and leave the club scene for the night life. They have “free” coat check, which is very convenient. They have different type of music playing in each floor. SUPER LOUD! DJ’s are great!
This was a fun location for a work event. For those in the over 40 crowd, it's very loud with the DJs at night. Games are fun and seem well maintained.
Always a nice vibe with good music and a variety for games. Strong drinks but Food came out a bit cold. Staff keeps the table areas clean constantly
Came with my bestie for birthday, we thought the nightclub was open but got disappointed when it said it wasn’t. The atmosphere was very boring and our first server didn’t seem interested in anything. So we decided to go sit at the bar. BEST DECISION EVER!! Moriah was behind the bar and was an amazing server and bartender!☺️ Turned our experience better since she was honest and amazing. I’d come back here if she’s working and the nightclub was working but my bestie and I agreed that her service and hospitality was the best part of coming here 😁😁 The games were cool!
All the points for fun space adult play land vibe. Service and help are an absolute ZERO. Poor attitudes from the hostess, to any help throughout, you are going to wait and wait. We booked a table here for 8 people for my birthday which is the only way to make a reservation and for a group of 8 you are responsible to spend $970 worth of drinks and food and if you don’t quite make it, you will be charged that anyway. My friend waited outside because she was told that a table with our reservation didn’t exist. I went outside to get her and let them know she was with our party and they insisted for ten minutes I was not at a table…. Ok Once finally in unless you get there early be prepared for a line for the fun slide to the lounge and food area downstairs. I like the food actually. Nachos, tuna tartar, sliders, short rib tacos, were all really delicious. Expect to spend a lot. The games are a first come first serve, we really enjoyed the bowling games, only the machine only takes 5’s is cash, there is no way to get change and at least 3 times we waited 20-30 min to get change just to play. You can have classic games like connect four brought to your table which is cute. Crowded. The lounge downstairs if you have a table will be overcome by people in your space and it was shoulder to shoulder most of the time I couldn’t dance really. There was an overcrowded, don’t step on me because there can be a problem vibe for sure. The music downstairs was good with a great mix of hip hop and reggae but the DJ cuts off every song way too soon. Upstairs was the techno spot with a crowd that you cannot permeate. Our waitress in general did her best but slow service. It was fun. I was done and ready to go by midnight lol we stayed till past 1 and while I may show up for a celebration and if you’re looking for a fun adult space try it at least once but be prepared to spend money.
Honestly it’s a cool spot to hang out at but I wouldn’t go there for another birthday celebration. The amount for 1 bottle is 400-500 lol most places ranges between 200-500. The shareables are not enough to feed large groups but the food is really good. It’s over priced & doesn’t offer much accommodation for the price u pay. Shout out to our female server I don’t remember her name. She had cool tattoos though , went MIA a couple time but overall she was a great server and made sure my request went through. Overall it’s a nice place to HANG OUT at not make reservations 😊
I went for corporate event. Ping pong, darts, foo's ball, mini basketball, skeet ball, gigantic connect four and battleship. The music was bad. The service was good.
The waitress was beautiful and brown and sweet. DJ was jumping. Playing all the top 40 and hits of today and back then-which my sister and I love. Food was good. A shot is $12. That was a shocker. Pricey. The game sections need work. They were all small and overcrowded. We did not get to play or join. After the downstairs was over, we went upstairs for additional dancing and music. That was wild. Like a rave. That was great. But yes this spot is cool for a night out with friends. Don't put too much faith in playing any games: bowling (only 3 small lanes), a tiny arcade section, a pool table shoved next to the bowling area. Catch the train too. No decent parking if you're not from the area
Was at Slate for the UMiami vs Indy college football game. Screen turned off many times, no sound many times and fire alarm ringing starting at 3rd quarter lasting for a long time. If everyone wasn't focused on UM, people would be furious. What is going on Slate? Can't handle the heat? A mess......
This place is not what it seems like on social media so don’t be fooled. Overall it’s mediocre. The bouncer didn’t allow any outside drinks like water. If you’re a water drinker then just be aware that their only bottled water is Fiji. The food is ok, the fried chicken was topped with a sad attempt of a coleslaw that had carrots and onions. Bathrooms were very humid. Make sure you check your order before you pay because if your server is not attentive they’ll charge you for stuff that you ordered but never got.
Had an office holiday party. Fun vibes due to the games and slide. Food was mid. Half the staff was rude and half were friendly. We continued to hang out after the official party ended. Were told to move. Would've stayed longer and ordered more drinks and food had they been more gracious.
the security is so rude. asked a simple question he literally went into a tangent for no reason.
place has gone down over the years tbh, went last night for a friend's event. drinks were ok, service not so attentive. the real kicker was being threatened by security with a taser whilst chilling outside for doing absolutely nothing, 2 feet away from a motorbike. do better Slate.
They're trying to scam you. They'll add random charges for your tab, charge you more than what's reasonable ($14 for a tequila shot?!), but the atmosphere and music is alright.
Extremely Terrible WiFi. It’s a dark hole in the basement when you go in can’t send a text completely 0 service WiFi didn’t work at all I can’t text my friends where i am how to come here it’s crazy — and that’s IF you are even Lucky enough .. to get on it .. which didn’t do anything… 👎 2 stars coz the stags are nice and fun venue :)
Came here for my company’s holiday party and it was chill for the most part. Games were fun. Food and drinks were fine. But the behavior of the bouncer and the woman at the front desk was awful and completely unprofessional. One of my coworkers stepped outside to take a call from his mother and the bouncer refused to let him back in, even though he had a wristband and was clearly part of our group. It was also quite warm, so a group of us were by the door trying to cool off. We were not blocking the door and there was plenty of space around us. The woman at the front desk yelled at us and made a large shooing gesture at us. Fun was had, but these experiences soured the evening and a few coworkers and I left early. Can’t say I’d rush to go back and I highly doubt they will be getting my company’s business ever again.
Awful they literally drugged me here then proceeded to pretend like I never existed and kicked me out , I believe it was the bartender , anyways this place is horrific never ever go here it was the worst night of my life
Terrible club. I was a little bit tipsy before going in but i have realized that when entering the bouncer had taken my ID. Mind you I am perfectly of age and even then they are completely unprofessional because if my ID were to be a fake and they take it and still let me in just shows the levels of unprofessionalism they represent. So now I have no ID because of them and their music and mannerisms are terrible. will never be coming back here ever again.
Genuinely so boring. No one was dancing at all felt like a bad fever dream
I had a horrible experience at Slate NYC. The bartendeMoriah, a white woman with a blond ponytail was surprisingly rude throughout my visit. Her attitude was dismissive and unprofessional, and it genuinely ruined the night for me. I expected much better service from a place with Slate’s reputation, but instead I felt disrespected and uncomfortable. Management should seriously address staff behavior, because no customer should be treated that way. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I won’t be returning and can’t recommend Slate NYC to others.
The staff outside are so rude and disrespectful. We had a reservation for a birthday and when my friend got there, they did NOT scan her ID, but threw it on the floor and was SO nasty & disrespectful cause her hair was a different color from the photo. We canceled our reservation and left. Absolutely ridiculous as we are all 25 yrs old. Never coming back here and all the staff should be fired.
First and foremost I want to say I have been going to slate for a long time now. Last night, my friends decided to reserve a table for a birthday celebration (12 people total). Everyone got in perfectly fine except for me. The security guy looked at my ID and kept insisting that the picture did not look like me. The picture was old from almost 2 years ago. It doesn’t stop there, he went up to EVERY bouncer and said “does this look like her?”. He kept insisting the ID was fake and instead of scanning the ID like any other professional would do; he threw the ID on the floor and said out loud: “I’m just doing my job, ma”. He was aggressive, disrespectful, misogynistic. It was extremely embarrassing. As a 25 year old woman that has gone out to many clubs, i have never encountered something like this. The management and owners of Slate should be ASHAMED of themselves. Get better and qualified staff!
Reserved a section for 12 people for a birthday party. The bouncer did not let in our whole party after almost everybody is at the section ready to order. I went outside to see what the issue was and they said that the photo id did not look like the person they weren’t letting in. They then said that everybody else is good except for that one person. We ended up cancelling the reservation and went to a different night club. Due to that one bouncer Slate lost a few thousand dollars that night but most importantly lost long term customers.
Gave the latino bartender operating the downstairs bar my card to pay for my friend's drinks and never got it back. The latino bartender then gave mad attitude and tried to gaslight me by saying that he gave the card back, so I had to lock the card and report it lost. Would not trust the latino bartender in the downstairs bar (and possibly that bar as a whole) with your card
Two of us went to play pool and have a drink. The pool table and sticks were terrible and the server never came to take our drink order. Then they closed early and we left. No iconic fun was had.
SHAME ON MORIAH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My recent experience at Slate NYC was extremely disappointing. After reading many positive reviews, I expected much better service. MORIAHHH HAS HER FRIENDS WRITTING FAKE REVIEWS TO COVER HER TRACKS .During my visit, my server, MORIAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! was unprofessional and noticeably unhappy to be there. The interaction left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I found it strange that her name never appears in any other reviews I’ve read, despite it being printed clearly on my receipt. Everyone's feeling ,and certain experiences including mine aren’t false. The situation made me suspect that new positive review mentioning her may have been written to counter negative feedback or concerns about how guests are treated. Whether that’s the case or not, my experience BAD. Overall, I left feeling dismissed and disrespected, and I wouldn’t return. I will also be filing a report with the better business
Had a private venue event I was apart of last night and then stayed for a bit after it ended and honestly the staff at this place are incredibly rude and disrespectful. Definitely the oddest i’ve seen throughout clubs in NYC. At one point they literally started to MOVE chairs and tables that club goers had their personal items on and were leaning on and if you didn’t move immediately they would yell “MOVE” loud as hell and bump directly into you (Clearly on purpose may I add) Really wild to treat people paying $20 for one drink like that. You can’t even dance in this place because the moment you do staff members are constantly moving items and demanding you to “stand elsewhere,” as we were told nearly 5 times. How hard is it to hire competent staff that have basic human manners? No joke one of their staff literally bumped me on purpose in the shoulder to get me to move (Which is INSANE). Definitely think twice about booking here. Trust me, the countless other reviews about the staff are real
The staff was rude, unprofessional, and trashy from the bouncers to the waitresses. Came here with my bf and a friend, paid $20 each to get in (which was fine) but then was told to spend $100 in drinks just to play 1 game by waitresses. We could understand paying a reasonable amount but $100 seemed like a scam so we asked other guests and were told that the waitresses did not tell them to spend any specific amount. Whenever we asked for drinks or asked to play games the waitresses were very rude and wouldn’t want to help us. And the music and food were terrible, the drinks were okay but the service was slow. The staff acts like they don’t want to work there yet it’s their job and the place was not that busy. They must have different management b/c in 2022 & 2023 we came here and the service and staff were great, professional, and fast and you could play games without spending a certain amount, and the DJs used to be great. And this was when Slate used to be even more packed with people. Unfortunately, this place has gone downhill. After our distasteful experience at Slate NYC, we went to Moxie Hour rooftop lounge and had a truly amazing time with great service and professionalism. We’ve had better experiences at bars than this place. Don’t waste your time here.
I usually love this place but the bouncer or guy at the first desk was incredibly rude. He was an older outspoken gentleman and had no right to be so rude. This place is usually fun. Not sure why they have him working there. His tone was even off putting to the other staff. He stayed outside and was also inside the venue. Please get someone else because my friends and I really like this place.
Terrible experience , we bought tickets ahead of time , we rented a party bus to go to this “ amazing “ place , when we got there the security looked at us up and down and told us one of our friends couldn’t go in because she was “too drunk “which no one was . as you can see in all other comments they do this all the time where they single out one person to not allow a whole group in because obviously if you don’t allow one person in the rest of the party won’t go in . We were 15 people , they saw one girl and said she can’t come in . We were dressed appropriately, we waited in line respectfully , we were cordial , up until the moment they left us out. As anyone would have , we got upset and asked to speak to a manager who we explained to since she was Puerto Rican , Hispanic people are like this , nobody was acting drunk , literally everyone was waiting in line normally and they said one girl was swaying back and forth … it’s a Saturday night and it’s a club… she wasn’t swaying back and forth it was cold so you move around to keep yourself warm , she said my friend couldn’t stand up straight , but she was standing up normal the whole time . The manager got disrespectful , and so did I because I’m not allowing anyone to treat us like that but I do apologize for any disrespectful comment it was my birthday and it was really frustrating to have our night ruined like that for no reason . Either way the manager ended up making fun of our outfits saying it wasn’t Halloween yet , which shows the very reason they didn’t allow us in. You can look up videos on tik tok where people get extremely drunk in there , and act a mess , so their reason of one girl being “ too drunk “ made no sense . We were nowhere near of that. We drove all the way from Jersey which is a 35 minute drive and we took one shot no one was drunk. So please look at the bad comments , they’re there for a reason .
