Taqueria Diana New York Reviews
Event time I'm in the city, Taqueria Diana is a necessary stop. The restaurant cozy, with a great neighborhood vibe and extremely reasonable prices. I have yet to have a dish I didn't like, and their margaritas are fantastic. If you like salsa, theirs is house made. The roja it's a little fruity with a nice kick of great. The guacamole doesn't disappoint, and the elote is fire (ask for it off the cob). My favorite tacos are the carnitas and al pastor, but if you don't eat pork, the chicken and beef options are also delicious. If you are hungry, go for one of their plates. Last night I tried the roast chicken for the first time and I'm not sure I'll need to eat at all today, it was a MEAL.
The tacos were divine - I got carnitas and pollo, my husband got fish. The beans and rice, usually a "throw away" dish, were delicious and very flavorful. Wish we had discovered this gem earlier in our trip.
Stopped by here the other night on my way to the bus terminal. Spot is very small, but in a cute way. You cant really come here with a big party though. But i was there to sit at the bar anyway, which was like 4 seats lol. Ordered a Strawberry Margaritas it was really good, not too sour, taste the alcohol but it was just a bit sweet. It was good enough for me to order another and it wasnt as sweet, which was nice lol. Service was attentive and staff was available. It was only one team member there but he seemed to be holding down the fort. Can't speak on the food, but the drinks are good!
Great spot! The bartender was very professional and recommended amazing cocktails. The atmosphere is cozy, the music is on point, and the tacos were absolutely delicious. Prices are fair, and the whole vibe makes you want to come back. Highly recommend this bar in New York!
Our first stop in New York and the food didnt disappoint! The drinks weren't very strong but they were still good, it will definitely take a few to enjoy 😉 but we would definitely recommend them..
Meh. Wasn’t really that good. My wife and I got a burrito after walking around all day and it just was okay. There just wasn’t much flavor to the burrito, no salsa with it. Overall just boring. The meat was cooked properly. But it just lacked flavor. The food did come out fairly quickly.
Behold my $50 order. My wife and I had been meaning to try this place for several months, but were worried the food was overpriced and the experience would be a big disappointment. Today we were feeling adventurous, but the experience sadly confirmed our fears. The food was “meh”, the portions were small, and they replaced my dessert order (the churros and eggnog…which apparently is no longer available despite being on their menu) with a much smaller and different dessert that is less than half the price…but still charged me full price. A star or two was added because when I called to ask about it, the good folks at Diana apologized and refunded half the order.
This place is the biggest ripoff in the Times Square/Hells Kitchen area!!! On their menu it shows $2 for a small guacamole and 50 cents for salsa, yet we were charged $4 for a tiny container of guacamole and $1 for the salsa…WHY???? They really gouge you here…carnitas burrito was on the smaller size and the little meat that was in the burrito didn’t really taste like carnitas…
I used to go here years ago, I don’t know what happened but it is VERY much different. I came in for lunch and the service was incredibly slow and it took 12 minutes to get water and the service was very uncaring. The woman hanging the counter spent most of her time in the kitchen vs serving customers. And there for an additional 6 mins I sat no water, no food, no service. This place used to be great now just really mediocre service and really high prices. As the photo details she never helped me but spend most of her time talking to people on the kitchen. Photos - service spent most time in kitchen talking, never trust a restaurant that used tape to increases prices and not buy a new sign, all of this for 16 dollars!
