Yong Kang Street New York Reviews
Such a cozy and stylish spot right near Herald Square. The interior was super clean and aesthetic, with greenery and warm lighting that gave it a chill vibe. I got the iced coffee and my boyfriend tried the Fall Oat Boy — both were delicious. The pastries looked tempting and fresh too. The staff was really helpful and friendly, which made the experience even better. Definitely a great spot for a midday coffee run or quick bite in Midtown.
Love every single coffee and matcha drink that I’ve tried at this café, also their cookies are absolutely amazing! Also, a special shout out to the Baristas, they’re always so nice ❤️
Amazing customer service! The warmth and family orientation this particular store provides, brings joy to my inner child. And they’re very cultured! Exotic blends to sweet edibles arrangements..🤤
Nice place! Please review all of my photos attached that share my experience which includes the atmosphere/environment and the food / all the food items that I ordered.
The staff was soo happy today, and their positive energy really made me smile. Their matcha is absolutely fantastic!!
ever since they renovated , vibe is so nice, people who work here are so nice !!! I visited on Saturday around 1 PM, and all of the staff who were working at the time were incredibly kind and welcoming. There were two women and one man who helped me — I didn’t catch their names, but I wanted to make sure to leave a thank-you here. I had to watch my sugar level so I asked them if I could modify my order, and they were so helpful. I appreciated their warmth!
I love Gregory’s so much and have been coming here for years because they’re super vegan friendly. Yes they have TWO savory breakfast options - a burrito and a croissant sandwich. Both are filling, taste amazing, and cost less than $8… unheard of! They also have my favorite vegan protein bar (Misfits), fun vegan drinks, and wellness shots so all my bases are covered here. The staff is particularly friendly at this location - seems like management is doing a great job. Will definitely be going out of my way to come to this location since the vibes are so great. Please keep up the great vibes and the yummy vegan options! This is SO rare these days especially at chains. In fact this is one of the only “chains” I go out of my way to support. Love y’all!
Delicious Matcha latte and the banana bread pastry they have is also very good. The service is lovely as well. Definitely recommend this location!
Cute place with great lighting! Perfect place to people watch. Baristas are super kind and funny. The chocolate croissant and blue steel are great! Will definitely be coming back.
I would like to recognize Rida for his outstanding customer service. He was professional, courteous, and very respectful toward all customers. Truly a great example of excellent service.
I was so happy this place was right around the corner from our hotel! They even have vegan breakfast options. I loved my chai tea latte, the tuna melt and the smoothies I tried. But the best thing? That sourdough bread! Omg! Best I’ve ever had! I asked if they could make my avocado toast with it and they did. Awesome customer service too! Loved the atmosphere.
The best customer service at any coffee shop in NYC. Jackie and Phoebe are rockstars. And the coffee was delicious too!

It’s a cold, rainy day but Sofia just brought me a Love Affair Latte taster and we had a nice conversation. The atmosphere is great in here and the people watching is fantastic, the almond croissant is delicious and someone just said, Happy Wednesday. ♥️♥️♥️🙏🎼
Jackie, Phoebe, and the rest of the crew on at this location are routinely great faces to see when needing caffeine and respite from the cold. Their matcha is currently bar none for its class in my wide experience of area cafes. These two are especially friendly, communicative, and prompt getting the order out. The space is bright, capacious, and comfortable enough for a short work session. I also deeply value the offering of a mug and saucer for dine-in, and their offer to wash one and serve it over replacing with a disposable option is admirable.

We grabbed coffee for the road at the Gregory's on 6th Ave at 31st street. Vibe and atmosphere were great...Sofie the manager was cheerfully enthusiastic and made sure our order was perfectly rendered. The staff were efficient and friendly, we left with a warm glow, partly supplied by the delicious drinks (Fall Oat Boy and Caramel Macchiato), and partly by the exceptionally positive attitude and friendly conversation. We discovered Gregory's years ago, and this is our favorite location among all the many good ones!
I stopped by Gregory's Coffee recently. It's a quaint and pleasant coffee shop located on 31st Street and 6th Ave. It's clean inside and the environment is pleasant. Jackie was my barista and made my coffee. I had a peppermint mocha latte. I look forward to stopping by here again soon.
What can I say but it's a vibe.. You walk in here and the place usually lively , warm smiles by the staff and service is great. When your busy and need to get things it's good to go somewhere that the people get you your drink , snack. You can focus and do your thing.. The staff make the place a great place to relax or get work done in middle of day.. Only reason I gave the food a 4 its because the snacks are too good.. I gotta spot eating them 😅
We fancied some hot drinks & pastries after a fantastic meze lunch at the ilili NoMad Lebanese restaurant so we stopped off at Gregory's Coffee shop on 6th Ave, on our way to do some shopping at Macy's. The shop was light, clean & airey with plenty of seating inside. My wife had her usual one shot milky latte, which she really enjoyed. I had an English breakfast tea and we shared a delicious traditional almond croissant that had a very tasty almond paste inside. We sat down at one of the tables and one of the friendly & helpful servers kindly brought the latte over to our table once it was ready. However, the cakes & pastries in the display cabinet looked a bit tired and not very appetising. There was a single toilet inside the shop and also free WiFi, neither of which we used.
Great spot for a quick coffee break! Nice variety of drinks; I tried the Protein Buzz and it was deliciously peanut buttery. Super fast service too. I recommend if you’re in the area and need a quick caffeine fix!
Really liked the coffee, they have coffee combinations with cold brew that looked very interesting. Would definitely come back. I tasted the fall oat boy latte which was has a very spiced flavor but really good. The people that take your order are really nice and it’s also pet friendly.

Gregory’s is great. Love their coffee selection. Morning staff is attentive and quick. Afternoon/night barista is nice but needs to wash his hands. Saw him take out a trash bag then make my drink.

Went in to do some work. The girl taking my order was quite cold. It wasn’t too busy but there was trash, crumbs, and liquid all over the tables and floors. I asked for napkins to wipe off a table to sit down at. Probably wouldn’t visit this location again.

Overpriced and disappointing. The prices here are way too high for what you actually get. The coffee is average at best, and the food doesn’t justify the cost in any way. Nothing stood out in terms of quality, taste, or service to explain these inflated prices. You’re basically paying for the name or the location, not the experience. There are plenty of cafés nearby offering much better quality for a more reasonable price. Definitely not worth it, and I won’t be coming back.
I just visited Gregorys Coffee at 6th Avenue and 31st Street in Manhattan and was extremely disappointed with the service and value. Here’s why: After waiting patiently in line, I ordered a small decaf coffee and a walnut scone. When asked if I wanted drip, I said, “Whatever is quickest.” Despite this, I stood watching as the staff prepared drinks for multiple people who ordered after me before finally handing me mine. When I did receive my coffee, it was only half full. Yes—half a cup. (see photo) As for the food, the walnut scone and coffee were fine but absolutely not worth the $9 I paid for this underwhelming combo. I'm glad I didn’t leave a tip, and even more relieved that there are plenty of other coffee options nearby. I’ll be taking my business to one of them instead of returning to a place with such poor service and portion sizes.
