I Come to Fremont about 5 times a year and always make sure I come here for lunch. Great fresh food with real ingredients, exceptional tacos. Plus a super friendly and energetic team here.

Excellent place for a quick lunch or dinner. The burritos are great and so are the tacos! The place was clean and the food tasted great! One minor inconvenience for me was the fact that the mild salsa was spicy so I can only imagine what the spicy ones are like. Overall great experience, good prices and excellent food!

Honestly this place is great. I love the youngins’ working there, they are always polite. Tonight, the young girl working made me a carne asada burrito and it was awesome! I asked her to grill the burrito a little bit, and she did a great job, exactly how I like it. It’s a win for me, my belly is happy! I’ll definitely be back.

I have been going to Cal eats since they opened a few years ago. The food is always consistent the facility is always clean and the help is always great. Their food is better than Chipotle it's fresh there's no preservatives and it's delicious. I highly recommend this for somebody who wants quick Mexican food that is a good quality and fresh. They also have a punch card so after you get 10 burritos or quesadillas or whatever your meal is you get a free one. There is plenty of parking, it's very convenient, and I love the food. Everyone who I brought their have become fans too.

Had the blackened fish tacos and street tacos, everything was fresh and tasted excellent. Best fish tacos I've had yet, has an entire piece of tilapia. Service was great and place was clean, I'll definitely be back to try more items from the menu.

Went there for lunch and the owner was super friendly. Willing to customize or suggest different toppings. It's a hidden gem. Great prices for quality fresh food. I got a drink as part of the set meal and it seem like the entire lunch was a steal. Their chips and guac are also really good. One of us got a salad bowl and another a fish bowl. Their pineapple salsa and cabbage slaw are highlights you def want to get!

Tried Cal Eats Fresh Mexican Grill and was pleasantly surprised. The fish tacos were flavorful and fresh, with a nice balance of spice and tang. The chicken quesadilla was hearty and cheesy, with tender meat and a crisp grilled tortilla. Everything tasted fresh, and the portions were generous. Even in the middle of the rush, one of the chefs took the time to give special attention to one of our group with autism, walking them through the ingredients and what to put on their order. Absolutely amazing, professional service that knows how to manage a kitchen, and the food was amazing. Very thankful for their patience and outstanding vibes!

More options than a Chipotle. Fresh homemade salsa, sauces and grilled items.

Decent place if you are looking for a Chipotle alternative. Ingredients here are pretty fresh and fairly tasty. They don't charge you extra for a glob of guac neither, which is definitely a plus in my books. The only complaint I have is a few times I've been here the workers here didn't change gloves / wash their hands between handling money / cash register and making your burrito. Guess what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right?

The nachitos I got were pretty good, but an jalapeno seed must have fallen into one of the ingredients because out of nowhere my mouth caught on fire. It wasn't enough to stop me from eating, obviously. I was on the lookout for more peppers. The restaurant is nice with plenty of seating considering the small area. A guys behind the counter were super friendly and very helpful.

Nice little place. It's only that it's hard to find a smaller place that also makes chili relleno's, other than a sit down restaurant. (Which do offer take out.). And the rest of the menu is also very limited. But food was good and and the employees were very nice. I would recommend them.🙂.

I got the carnitas burrito which had no flavor. I would put it on par with Raley's taco bar. Not bad, but not authentic. Also, I paid extra for guac but there was a chunk of avocado and I could pairly bite into it because it hadn't ripened fully. Definitely bummed with my experience. My boyfriend got the fajita burrito bowl and it was really good, 4 star quality. Good flavor. So I would say this place is inconsistent, definitely not more than 3 stars.

I'd give it a 3.5 if I could. Salsas are pretty bad and that's a big disappointment for me. Lots of affordable food though, and nice variety. They have black beans and brown rice. Very cheap kids burritos. Good shrimp meal, decent quesadilla.

They recommended fish tacos when we walked in then recanted and said, "we're out of those". Ordered a burrito bowl instead and couldn't believe how small the $6.50 bowl was. It's insulting that they think it's ok to charge that much for so little. Girlfriend ordered two chicken street tacos for $3.50 and got more food including chicken. I hate sounding trivial but they were completely comfortable ringing the register and under- delivering. There are better choices but we thought we'd try this overrated establishment. Your mileage may vary.

I took a bite of the burrito and it was broccoli, zucchini, and carrots... on a burrito?!? The service was good, but the food was disturbing.

Worst burrito I’ve ever eaten in y life! The place was empty and no excuse why it was so terrible! Where do I begin… it the burrito was about the size of my pinky finger, the tortilla cold hard and was not not even warm! In fact the Cheese was not even melted!the rice was firm and undercooked over! I was starving as was completely let down and in need of some real food somewhere else! I will Never eat there again the rest of my life! I give it a 0 of 10 and give it a 1 *. Google won’t let me give a zero

We were looking to cater food for a party, but changed our plans because we found the chicken undercooked. Even so, the owner inexplicably decided to increase the price by almost 30%. We looked for a different place with better food, and importantly, better ethics.

I came at 3:15 waited here almost over 20 minutes and no one has showed up and the restaurant is closed at least three or four people left so they’re losing business and we checked online to make sure that they were open and it says that they’re open their sign and everything is out as you can see and nobody’s here really wanted a burrito really bad so this is really messed up.
