I had an amazing experience at IHOP on Bergen St today, all thanks to our incredible server, Muji. She truly went above and beyond to make our meal special. From the moment we sat down, Muji was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They offered personalized recommendations that were spot on and even accommodated some last-minute changes to our order with a smile. What really stood out was how they took the time to check in with us without being intrusive, ensuring we had everything we needed and that our experience was perfect. Their attention to detail was exceptional, and they really made us feel valued as guests. It’s clear that they truly care about providing top-notch service. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I hope Muji is there to serve us again!

Lucy was an excellent hostess. Since the moment we arrived at the restaurant with my mom she was really sweet and cared for us and the rest of the customers. I don't know. I'm use to Lucy greeting me at the door when she see me and seating me in my fav window seat. Its just not the same without Lucy Lucy Lucy lol !!!!! I'm with my lady and it's kinda busy. So we stand at the door for a good 10 mins and no one came to sit us. I get it busy l, short staff ok cool. So this lady just walk in and say 2 please and the waitress grabs a menu and started to seat them, until I was like hello I been waiting for 10 mins this lady just walked in. So that right that kinda mess my morning up. On top of having to wait a pretty long to to be served. I like this I hop but it's just to big and not all the waiters and waitress are friendly that's why I love LUCY! I She rolled out the red carpet when she was on Broad St iHop and she rolls the red carpet out for me on Bergen. She just wasn't there this time.

Yessss let me start with the best part besides my breakfast buddy!! Lucy’s customer service was top tier. She is warm, funny and attentive. She is a beautiful person and she laughed and made our breakfast experience one of the best I’ve had at IHOP! Butttt my coffee was bitter so I got a hot chocolate! It was good but it looked oily not sure why. The food was ok not the best but not the worst. The eggs were not light and fluffy they were a little hard. But overall I will definitely return I pray Lucy will be there. I pray she gets a raise she’s definitely an asset ❤️

I held a 7 AM business meeting there on a Wednesday. for 24 people. The wait staff was so friendly. They had the coffee ready for us quickly. Food was cold when it got to the table, and I had to ask for everything syrups, water, napkins, it all! For some reason the coffee or tea is always warmer than the food! And I got plastic utensils, which was not my choice, but I wasn't asked either. A deep cleaning of cups and condiments holder, coffee carafe is needed. Ordered on DoorDash and when I received my food it had a lot of pieces of hash brown in the eggs 😫 I DID NOT ORDER HASH BROWNS only sausage, eggs and pancakes! I couldn’t eat this because the more I mixed it I would pull out more hash browns making me think they gave me a left over plate from a table or something 🤮 gross!!! I can see if hash browns was part of my order then I wouldn’t mind but I didn’t and just disgusted me as the many thoughts went through my head on why is this mixed in my eggs 👎🏾

This place has gone downhill so much. I went there yesterday with my son for breakfast. Stayed for 2 hours, Not because we enjoyed our experience but because it took 30 minutes alone for someone to come and at least bring us coffee. They had no soap in the bathroom. I alerted the staff of that and instead of bringing soap they put a hand sanitizer there which leads me to wonder, How is the staff washing their hands? Why does it smell of dirty, mops and dirty mop water I will never ever ever visit this IHOP again. I wish I had a direct line to whoever owns and it’s responsible for the management of this establishment. It’s a real shame that they are highly understaffed, which means that Not being sanitized properly, nor are the customers receiving the service that they’ve come to pay for.

12/20/25 - THE WORST PLACE DO NOT GO HERE. I didnt want to give a star at all they dont deserve one star.. This place is the worst.. I dont even know why they reopened this location. We came in to eat the greeter was on the phone looking at a game.. his hair was braided and the braids was half talking out no net no bonnet nothing hair was just unraveled... He sat us down at a table We sat there for at least 20 minutes. No one came to acknowledge us at all.. I then proceeded towards him to ask him is there anyone going to serve us and he just looked at me then walked away. We sat at the table another 5 minutes.. there were other workers / servers saw that we havent been served and no one came to say anything.. so at this point I decided to leave.. This place is the worst. . No manager didn't come to say anything either.. I called after I left. Talking to a manager was even worst then going to the facility not getting serviced.. She mentioned that he may have sat us at a table no one was serving but then I asked why didnt anyone come over to acknowledge us or say anything. She mentioned she didnt know why no one didnt.. but then as a manager why she didnt. Smh .. I will NOT EVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE.. you want to support black own business but when service are bad and Noone acknowledge the customer.. I Will Not be supporting or ever coming back to the location EVER..
