Excellent sports bar. Watch UFC here! Large place with lots of seating, including lots of couches with good views of the TVs. You can even play pool at one of the dozen tables while watching the TVs. Good food too. The burgers and onion rings look great. The patty melt is good with parmesan crusted bread. The cheese curds are good. The southwest eggrolls are good. The chicken strips are good. All of the sauces are great, honey mustard, whiskey bbq, etc

I only discovered this place because a friend of mine has an office nearby and I go work there sometimes. I only went there after work. And now with everything and Covid I don’t know what it’s like or what it was like in the evening. But what I can tell you is it’s a total sports bar with TVs everywhere and the food was really really great. There’s a lot of pretty servers and a lot of businessmen that go there after work. I bet this was a really fun spot before Covid and now that everything‘s opening up I can’t wait to go work at my friends office and go there after soon!

Good local bar. Nice portion size on the appetizers. Good drinks and service. It can be loud inside but typical for a bar.

This place has so many things to offer. The bar food menu is quite good. Sliders, salads and their Melts are among the best items. Enjoy many TVs for sports events, pool tables, and a few nice lounge areas for groups.

This place has it all. Sports always playing, plenty of pool tables, good bar food and a great staff. Highly recommended for any big sporting event/ PPV fight or a random afternoon just to play some pool. Don't forget to try the cheese curds!

It's a pretty cool spot but after 3 days I realized if you come here alone you're not a priority unless you talk to Paul. Waited a while for service but when I stopped and asked Paul, I had a burger in about 5 minutes. Thank you Paul!

ALWAYS a GREAT game-watching time at Classic Q!!! INCREDIBLE Chicken Club sandwiches, nice variety of draft beers, and quick/efficient, friendly, and beautiful servers, as always!!! Our FAVORITE place to watch a game!

Carly the server is great! She is so friendly and responsive. I celebrated my birthday here and she made it very special

Clean, friendly, has pool and Golden Tee! Delicious chicken tenders. ETA: they do the chicken wrap correctly. They basically make the wrap contents as a salad then put it in the wrap, which means there's an even distribution of the ingredients. Most places layer the ingredients in the wrap and then, well, wrap. This leaves bites without all the ingredients. Classic Q's method avoids that. ☺️ ETA2 12/2/2022: No more Golden Tee.

Best Sports Bar near John Wayne Airport. Excellent customer service from my waitress named Nikki. The 1/2 Lb Burgers are the best in the area. Sports bar with pool tables and all sports on their many flat screen Tv's. The only place to go.

Kim is the best Bartender I have ever seen. She took care of everyone at the bar and filled drinks for 3 waitress. John Taffer would be proud! Her bar back made it happen. They also charged the TV to the Purdue basketball game. I will be back to watch my team and have some good food. Cheers!

Really cool spot. Seems like the servers will be more hands off if you’re looking for a dive bar experience or more hands on if you have a bigger group of people. Large bar menu. I had the mango habenero wings and they were uh-mazing! Can’t wait to go back

Full sized Pool tables (a lot of them) which are free from 1 - 4 if you buy lunch (or spend 10 dollars at the bar). The staff is awesome (and friendly and very sweet)! The food is actually really good too. Great for lunch or just hanging out and shooting Pool. I have only gone there during lunch, and it has not been so crowded that you couldn't shoot Pool so that is a definite plus. Then again, they are smart and leave plenty of room between the tables and bar and people. Good Times...Good Times...

Very great staff. Great location. Here on a trip from Vegas and all I have to say is WOW!!!!!!! The food here is outstanding!!!!! Normally when you think of a sports bar you would want to normally be cautious of the food. BUT NOT THIS PLACE!!!! Every bite that I took of the bbq burger kept me wanting to hope it never ended. Great portions and great prices!!!! Our waitress Savannah was friendly and quick with helping us out

Awesome staff and cool place, with a chill vibe. They have the best wings! I like mine dry with buffalo sauce in the side and well done wings. Also, the "Chamoy" on the rim is a must try!! It makes your drink that much more enjoyable.

Had a great time. Waitress was on her game. I had a drink coming before I finished the on in my hand.

The food was good and the drinks are cheap. They have plenty of TVs to watch whatever sport you’re into! You also have pool tables and dart boards! I highly recommend this place! Crystal your bar tender is very nice and makes a great drink!

I attended a corporate event that was held here last week and it was a blast. Awesome bar atmosphere and the food was solid. To top it off I gave my ID at the counter for a group of colleagues to play darts and then unexpectedly had to leave early. Not thinking about it I left without my ID. However Ron, being the the hero he is tracked me down, reached out and let me know about my ID. Luckily I had my passport on me because I was at the airport and just getting through security. Ron mailed my ID back to me! Who does that?! So I had a awesome time, good food and received customer service that went above and beyond. I’d recommend Classic Q to anyone and everyone.

Fun atmosphere, plenty of screens, and good service. Portions were big and beers were bigger! The only down side is that our food/fries had a fishy taste, but that seems like a temporary issue. Overall great place.

We coke here to have a quick dinner and play darts. My wife really liked the salad she ordered, and it was HUGE. Burgers here are good. I enjoy the Buffalo Wings, but I usually do, lol. The staff is super friendly, they have a ton of TVs with different games on. It is a fun place to hang and grab some food.

In from out of town. Nice sports bar, plenty of tvs, great food selection, and portions very good for the money. Service was friendly as well.

Amazing service, amazing staff, and amazing vibes make this place - amazing! The bartenders are all professionals and knowledgeable, the staff is quick and attentive, the management team is beyond kind and caring, and the food (mainly nachos and anything with their cheese) is SOOO GOOD! The only ever slight drawback I have to comment (and which I joke with the staff at times) is that there are no 'public' restrooms if you are charging your Tesla. But just come in, get some soda, relax while charging, and you are welcome to use the facilities from my understanding. Other than that, Classic Q is a staple of airport area of Newport Beach and if you haven't been, you will not be disappointed in visiting.

Solid spot for pool especially. We had a company event here and had a lot of fun. We had our own area blocked off that had two pool tables and two dart boards in the corner. Food here was surprisingly really good and particularly the chicken sliders. Another thing I noticed here was that some of the tables in the main area had a chess layout. Unsure if they have chess pieces here to rent out but I’ve never seen that before and I’ve been to quite a lot of fine establishments. Overall the service was really good, the food was really good, the parking was easy and they had TVs. Not too sure what else you really need for a sports bar. Also it was clean. Thanks to the owners and staff. I’m sure I will be back one day.

Came here for the very first time to watch the Lakers get hammered in a buzzer finish finale against the Dever Nuggets in Game 2. Service was outstanding, met the owner, a very well-respected person, and a very clean and organized establishment. Loved the California Fries, and beers were super cold from the tap. I'm definitely coming back again. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for the perfect hangout spot.

We loved this place! The food was really amazing bar food. They have lots and lots of pool tables, 6 or so, I believe. The service was outstanding and everyone was friendly. They all enjoy working there. They have an impressive local draft menu and domestics. The Margaritas were amazing we had them both times we went. I had the prime rib dip which was crunchy and buttery and dipped excellently. The second night I had the wedge salad which was massive and cheap! My girlfriend had the Cali burger both times we went and that was good as well. They don’t have dessert.

Super classy billiards bar with a big patio and TVs everywhere. Carrie took awesome care of us and we had a great time!

J
Jin Tanimoto

Love the atmosphere here, I mainly go to play billiards. They have both full size and half tables available. Others go to watch sports and enjoy the bar. There are tvs conveniently placed through the building so no matter which way you’re looking, it’s always in view.

A great place to come for Sunday football. All the tv"s have a sign saying what game is on so you know where to sit. The food is good. I had a breakfast burrito and cheese curds. Several servers were wearing Packers gear which is cool since I'm a Packers fan. Service was very good too.

Great bar. Had a 24 hour flight delay and came in. Didn't realize it was a GAY BAR! (GREEN BAY CHEESE HEADS its a joke Karen take it easy). Nice place. Great pool. Lots of TVs. Great menu and decent food. Close to airport for my layover. Kaitlyn the bartender had me Rollin with dem jokes. Great bartender Great suggestive sales this girl knows her cocktails had me buying some top shelf good stuff. Fun atmosphere.

We had the best experience! If you have a chance to have Kim as your server you’ll have the absolute best experience. Hands down one of the best servers I’ve had in my life. We had so much thanks to her. The environment was amazing and super clean! We will definitely be back.

I've been coming to Classic Q's the past few months and everything from the service to the food is on point (the buffalo wings are great). We came in on 6/18 to watch the hockey game and Kait was awesome! Even though she was taking care of a lot of tables she made sure to keep checking on us. And Paul could not have been nicer! He was so polite. Came to our table to make sure everything was good. Absolutely amazing customer service from both Kait and Paul.

My work friends and I frequent this place but only last time did we decide to rent a pool table then some darts. What a fun time we all had! The food is delicious (love the buffalo chicken salad!), the drinks are good and the wait staff are friendly and attentive. Sometimes we sit inside, other times we sit on the spacious patio. The music tends to be a little loud (we all yell over one another instead of talking) but that doesn't stop us from returning for more fun times. Did I mention how big the place is ? Great for big groups or parties. Go check it out.

Awesome place. Great food, drinks and pool tables. Owner is a great guy. Recently left valuables there, was happy when I returned the next day to find out they had them stored in the back. Much appreciated. Great waitresses that go above and beyond. Love this place and will return soon!

Fun place! Its got some good comfort food and great service and depending on who's pouring the drinks, a good pour 👌 the pool games are not cheap, but if you are looking to find a table and enjoy your time comfortably, then go.

I was looking for a place to watch my Raiders play. Being from out of town, I read the reviews for here and decided to give it a chance. I'm glad I did. Plenty of this, and the staff was very friendly and the food was fantastic. The potato skins were excellent, and their turkey melt was also top notch. I'll be coming back next weekend. Thank you staff at Classic Q.

This is one of the best sports bars I've been to. There is no smoking inside and it is also very clean, very comfortable to be inside. They have multiple billiard tables and many food and drink options. Definitely try the food as the appetizers, sandwiches, nachos and more were all great in the times I've came here. Staff is friendly and overall great spot to be with your friends, it is not too loud inside either so you can have actual conversations! 21+ only inside as well.

Pool halls are a bit thin in Orange County, more so for mid or south county. Located mid county in fancy Newport Beach just south of the airport is Classic Q. The 4x8 tables seem a bit nicer here. There are also smaller bar size tables to hourly rent. There's an hourly charge to play that's around 10$, to be honest I haven't checked. I've tried one of their salads. Now 15$ is a bit steep, but this was so big I just snacked for dinner. I mean the portion came in a bowl for two, so I guess value that way. Also, the California Cobb salad (pic) was very tasty. I don't know if they're just low key but I would say service staff is a bit slow. Several wait staff but they congregate by the bar area, sipping drinks. I would recommend polite but don't be shy to flag someone down if you're due on a refill or to make a food order. Oh *** TIP, watch your table corners and ends. Some tables get you pretty close to people at the bench seating for the bar. Also the 4x8 table next to the patio in/out door will have service people coming through at times. For me no worries, I just didn't want to block someone delivering food or drinks while playing.

Nice place to watch baseball, no NBA play off games on screens tonight. Food 3 out of 5, beer very cold 5 out of 5, tequila casa amigos chilled shot 5 out 5 super fire.

K

Caught a few games of the MLB Playoffs here with some friends a while back. Food was pretty good, nothing out of this world, but it's a sports bar at the end of the day. Plenty of TV's to watch the game and the staff was really on top of things. Definitely will stop back since it's very conveniently located for me.

C
Celina Condo-Bell

Met a couple of friends there for a college basketball game and we really enjoyed the atmosphere, the fact that it has been there for ever is a plus, adds to the charm of the place. We didn't play pool, but those who did were enjoying themselves. Food was average bar fare, and the huge appetizer sampler plate left everyone sattisfied!

M
Mitch Ratinoff

Classic sports bar with that never seems too crowded. TV's aren't that big, but a decent selection of beers on tap, with pint sizes to 24oz. Decent food and the server's and bartenders are cute and helpful. Pool tables and dart board are also available if that's your thing. After a few 24oz beers and an appetizer or two, you'll end up dropping $60 - $100 with tip, so be prepared.

Close to John Wayne Airport and the business district. This is a casual pub to kick it with friends. Food is pretty good, its never that busy to where you have to wait. Its a great place to meet for lunch or grab a drink and watch the game.

Been here twice. It's kinda too brightly lit but the food and alcohol are both nice. They have happy hours too. We sat at the bar. If you're looking for less formal/date night but more chill out options, Garf's is nice.

Ar atmosphere. Food was pretty greasy. I got a quesadilla and had to use a couple napkins to soak up the grease on the bottom. It was a large size though and dint taste to bad.

This place is an upscale sports bar. The food is good the drinks are good and a decent selection of beers. The pool tables aren't free but they have a lot of them. Multple size s of tables and kept in really great condition. If you are looking for a good place to watch a game ir fight you can't go wrong here.

I'm a fan of this place. It's nestled in the financial/work district of Irvine so it'd a perfect happy hour sports bar after work. They do have HH pricing and menu until 6pm This is the best place to watch sports at a bar in this area. They also play audio during the games which I think is huge. There's an Outdoor patio with tvs as well which is a nice amenity

Can't comment on the food because I didn't order any. The drinks were good and priced fair. The pool tables were good, no outstanding problems. The atmosphere was great, lots of TVs and stuff on the walls. Not much to say but it's a lowk upscale pool hall/bar.

Always been one of my Favorite Sports Bars, very close to where I work. Only thing that has made me start going there a little less is the hike in prices. Two beers and dinner will set you back a good 35 to 40 dollars. But love everything else about it.

GREAT for Packers games but the side salad and turkey burger weren't that amazing. The side salad is your typical iceberg mix and the turkey burger was bland because I made the mistake of asking them to hold the mayo, cheese, and avacado. CHEESE IS SACRED in Wisconsin- What was I thinking asking the chef of a Greenbay Packer themed bar to hold the cheese? Good beer selection and plenty of TVs, plus chess and pool. Overall a good place to go for a Packers game.

P

I only went here because there was a party for someone's last day at work. I don't hang out at bars, so I can't give a rating. Everything was fine as far as getting drinks when you want them and a couple of people were playing pool at one of the tables, which told me that it wasn't difficult to get to.

Being that this is a sports bar the food is good and a bit overpriced . Our server Sydney, was not pleasant or helpful at all she had no smile on her face and her demeanor read as if she did not want to be there . The place was packed and we happen to be at a table closest to the TV screens and she would hardly ever came by to ask if we needed something and when she did it took her a very long time. Keep in mind the place was packed and the other servers would do everything they could to assist their assigned tables which were hard to get to like our table was, but still the other servers made the effort pretty often. This place is fast pace and people do get rowdy which my group of 3 including myself was not at all . Where has customer service gone??? In my opinion down the drain now a days. When we asked to close out and I signed and paid ... Sydney immediately came back to ask was there something wrong ... (she came by because I left a tip to justify her service was not good at all). I do understand the service industry, but I believe in when service is not good I will not pay the minimum of 15% ... hence alot of places now have it calculated at the bottom beginning with 18%... getting back to her asking if anything was wrong... I replied with, "you barely acknowledged us and it took forever for you to check on us" . She was too busy flirting with all the Male patrons behind us .

R
Russell Cloak

Not really sure what happened when I showed up but the bouncer wasn't letting us in saying it was last call. I had around 20 friends inside so I waited outside for over 45 minutes before people started to leave. Normally it's fine but the bouncer was very aggressive towards us... didn't feel too good about that. I might try to go again to get a better idea of it, but that's not a good first impression.

In a county with very limited pool hall options, and no real "nice" pool halls (at least that I have been able to find), Classic Q's is a good option for hourly pool table rental of decent tables, in a sports-bar environment. Many of the features you might find at similarly priced pool halls are missing (really nice cues, a hostess to rack games, etc.). While the waitresses are relatively nice, and almost always attractive, the staff managing the bar and the pool rental tend to be rather stand-offish and treat their job as if they are doing you a favor by allowing you to rent the tables or order a drink. The crowd here tends to be mostly 20's-40's, and fairly diverse. Where this spot really shines is big sporting events (such as Sunday football) as the walls are plastered with TVs, and there is plenty of space to host large groups of people. The food is comparable to most sports-bars, and the cocktails mixed a little on the unleaded side. Overall, while it is nothing super special, it is one of the best options I've found to shoot some pool and watch the games in OC.

S
Sam Lin

Cozy bar and restaurant location with some billiards tables. The location is a bit run-down, and the interior is dark. There's a certain charm to the place, but probably not the best first-date pick. Their appetizers are decent.

M
Mark Botham

Decent place to watch NFL, lots of TV's inside and on sheltered patio. Service good, beer selection ok. Very average sandwich, hard to find tomatoes in BLT. Men's bathroom was pretty bad, only one small BR on site, so does not meet demand. I mentioned it needed attention to waitress but nothing changed while I was there.

S
Sergio Corona

The place is nice, unfortunately the server never came to ask us if we needed more drinks until the end of the night. When we asked her for the menu she pointed to us where to go get it and then she never came back to ask us what we wanted to have until about two hours later when the kitchen was about to close. We paid $44 dollars for 3 glasses of Guiness and 1 Jack Daniel's and about $40 dollars for 3 hours of pool. Of course we didn't tip server because of the lack of service. Over all we spent $90 dollars and left the place hungry. I had some feeling that maybe they don't like Hispanics coming around this bar since it's in the City of Newport. Don't get me wrong, the place has an upscale vibe with upscale prices so this means it's nice looking with nice pool tables, and plenty of screens but I wished we had better service. I understand the server was busy with the group of about eight guys next to our table that got really drunk in a few hours but a minute of her time to ask us if we were ready to order while she was doing her round would've made a big difference in our experience at this place. I'm sorry for this harsh review but any bar can have a nice location, drunkards, pricey beer, food and good pool tables but the big difference comes in the quality service. I hope the group next to us left them a big tip. In the meanwhile I'll probably go somewhere else. Oh! and by the way, one star is for the screens, another star is for the pool tables, and the last one is for the barman that charged me about $22 greenbacks in exchange for two Guiness beers and had the courtesy of asking me, where is the server? I'm glad they care for them if they are missing. PS. If you still reading, congratulations! because you are very thorough 😜 I hope you have a better time than me if you made it to this joint. Remember: DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE! 'cause it's like burning over $10,000 dollars for nothing.

Gorgeous staff and cold beer. Place smells like a frat house and food was undercooked. Not a bad experience, but not great either. If you're looking to get funny with some friends, this place is probably great. If you're looking for a burger, it's just ok.

K
Keith Arthur

Atmosphere is good. Staff seems to get really busy, especially during happy hour so you wait sometimes for service. I would like to rate higher but the food quality is pretty sub par. Not a whole lot of flavor going on without dumping sauce on everything. However the buffalo wings are pretty good.

J
Jim Joyce

Local joint in Irvine. Pool tables, sports on TV, lively spot for drinks and bar food. I've tried a few items on the menu. All were good portions with fresh ingredients. Mostly average bar food and cold beer which suits me just fine after a long day at work.

A
Alex Moffitt

Expensive beer, and while the server was sweet, the service was horrible. I ordered a burger at the same time as my table ordered food and it never showed. As we were settling the bill I was told that it’s “just about out”. So I can’t say really what the food is like, as I never got it. Pool was expensive ($15 bucks for a table), overall unimpressed. The atmosphere was good and the bar was clean, really the only good I have to say.

It all started out wonderful!! My service was excellent by a waitress named Morgan. My wings were out quick albeit anemic. On my way out I looked for the manager to report how wonderful Morgan was because I am a business traveler and I am in restaurants every day. There were two people behind me getting ready to check in and the manager nodded his head and kept nodding his head and said “yeah yeah”......but clearly appeared annoyed and wanted to move on and get the people behind me a table. That ruined the whole experience. My hotel’s restaurant is still closed so this has been a disappointing trip. I cannot wait to get home to Texas.

Food is not bad but service is awful. After waiting almost 20 minutes for someone, anyone to noticed that we sat down my husband had to go to the bar himself to get us drinks and ask if a server would be making any rounds any time soon. After that it was an additional 10 minutes of trying to flag to separate servers down. Granted we went in on a Sunday after a big rush but it didn't seem right having to chase the severs down just to put in an order then to try and get the bill. If it wasn't for the fact that he was intent on watching the game we would have left and not stayed. The food was decent but not enough for me to give more than 2 stars due to the lack of service.

I didn't like their mens bathroom. I've got a shy bladder so privacy is important for me. The layout of the single toilet and single urinal made it very difficult to urinate comfortably and in a timely manner. Not a place I'd willingly visit again.

Day 1 I had a couple beers and tried the jalapeno poppers ( my favorite ). The peppers did not taste good, like... freezer burned... Not spicy at all.... Beer seemed a bit flat, service was slow. Day 2.... Again, the beer tasted flat ( draft beer to clarify) The service was super slooow... Decided to try the fish and chips... The fries were over seasoned , the fish over cooked and not fresh.... Did I mention the service was 🐢🐢🐢🐢.... Next time in town for training, I need a better place. Not sure if I will go back.

This place is the worst, walked in on a Thursday night with 4 servers and was ignored for 40 minutes, it wasn't even very busy. Will not be going back

On June 21, 2019 I went to Classic Q's and got horrible service. I was waiting for my drinks and food for over 20 min, this is when one of my friends got up to ask for the server. Nikki then came out and rudely asked "what do you want" she was frustrated and unapologetic. At the time we disregarded the attitude and brushed it off. However, it then took another 20 minutes for Nikki to come out, once more we had to get up and request the manager to send Nikki out with are drinks. She came out, and got into my friends face and rudely asked if we went to her manager and asked "did you go to my manager and tell him that it took 20 min to get your drinks out because you are wrong! and you need to learn to count." She then continued and asked if we wanted to speak to her manager directly of course we said yes. From there the Owner/ Manager Ronnie came out, listened to our story he just batted his eyes and then stacked our drinks with the response "if you do not like our service you can leave." I am part of an office that sends Classic Q's consistent business, this is the first time I have experienced horrible service. I understand that a business has a right to refuse service to anyone, however, to do it in such an abrupt manner is sad. Be safe our there friends and try not to get slapped verbally by this owner and server who obviously do not care about obtaining tips or customers.

Most of the staff was friendly except for an individual who was bald. I'd review higher if the service was better or they part with the individual like his hair parted with his head.

Nowhere online does it say this place is 21 and over at noon for a football game and when I got there after driving from La Habra they were rude and wouldn’t let my 19 yr old son and I in to watch the game. I’ll never go back and never recommend them.

E
Evgeniya Bozhko (KoriAndrTheCat)

We wouldn’t recommend coming to this place, if you’re looking to just play pool. We ended up paying $30 for a little less than an hour of pool, which is a ridiculous amount per hour. We haven’t tried any cocktails because we were driving, so cannot judge their quality.

Online and when you call they say they’re open till 10:00pm but they wont let you order food after 8:30. The hostess who picked up the phone has awful customer service and sounds like she hates her job so she doesn’t want to help at all. Really disappointing and very bad advertising.

While they seem to have a reasonable amount of pool tables when I was there on a Friday night (pretty early) three of the pool tables were closed off and out of use for a party. The entire party had been cut off but they refused to open up the pool table and get them to move. They then took down at LEAST 7 names without the decency to say any kind of time frame or that they weren't going to open those tables back up. The servers are terrible, customer service is poor EVEN on a Tuesday when they aren't busy the waitresses/bartender were slow and not attentive at all. They need to understand that they need to pay attention to guys with girls and they will get BETTER tips!

I've been here a few times. The food is typical bar food, mostly fried stuff. I've never been impressed but today it was bad. The chicken in the chicken quesadilla was raw. The service was awful as well. Not a great experience...

Wasn't happy with what I was charged Saturday night. 😒 I went to play pool with my girlfriend and da end of the UFC fight was on so we had to pay $20 each for the cover charge fo that. Then we played 1 game of pool and had to pay $15 for that. Only got 2 drinks at $12 each. All together over $ 80 . Bad decision to go there.

Overpriced and rude bartender. I said please and thank you. Used ma’am and sir and yet got a snarky rude comment from the bartender after I corrected her wrong entry of my order. I’m sorry you were wrong and then I chose to not give you a tip after your very rude and snarky attitude to me politely telling you that the order was wrong. Never again bye.

I came to this bar/restaurant for a quick drink and some food. I’ve been here before with coworkers and had a fairly good experience, so I decided to return for a quick lunch. The service was good overall—my server, Courtney, was attentive and helpful. Unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by the behavior of what seemed to be the manager, a bald gentleman whose name I didn’t catch. After finishing my meal, I let him know I was ready to pay. I didn’t have a card with me, as I typically avoid carrying loose items while traveling. He told me they only accept cash. When I explained I didn’t carry cash, he suggested I go to the 7-Eleven across the street and leave something as collateral. I left my keys, and although I was flexible and even offered to pay via Zelle, he refused, stating they didn’t accept it. I went to the 7-Eleven, but they informed me they couldn’t provide cash back without the physical card. Not wanting to waste more time before returning to work, I returned to the restaurant and spoke with Courtney again. She was willing to accept Zelle, including a tip for her time, but the manager intervened and was incredibly rude, insisting they don’t take Zelle and threatening it would be the last time they ever would. He also pointed out signs at the door and a nearby bank, but his complete unwillingness to work with me in a reasonable situation was baffling. I have immense respect for Courtney, but the manager’s behavior completely soured my experience. This level of rudeness and inflexibility is unacceptable, and I will not be returning. I will also be advising my colleagues in the area to avoid this establishment due to the way I was treated.
