This is my absolute favorite local place currently. The staff is great the owners keep it interesting with regular menu refreshes monday night special offerings unique events and my favorite Sunday brunch spot. The food is quality all around. I can't get enough of their menu. Their fries are the best fresh cut frys around and the sabads burger can't be beat. Every steak or prime rib I've ordered is cooked exactly how I've ordered it. My only complaint would be it's hard to catch all the delicious specials they run.

I'm a Northern New York native and a foodie that's traveled a little bit. I was hesitant to try this place out but I'm seriously so happy I did! The food was excellent, it was very relaxing and comfortable, and the service was phenomenal! I had the Chicken Caprese Sandwich which was a special with fries. This meal also came with some really nice Garlic Bread and some Cabbage Noodles! I paid $23 with a soda and the quality of everything definitely outshines other restaurants in the area. You may ask WHY the Cabbage Noodles!? Well it's because Sabad's was a Hungarian American Restaurant and the new owners have kept some of the old traditions! I loved it and I think you will too!

What excellent service and an amazing dinner ! The prime rib and steak seleciton was to perfection. Absolutely delicious. We have been to many steak houses, expensive restaurants and this meal outdid them all. We came as a family, at the recommendation of some of the Potsdam hockey team players . The men appreciate good portions and we weren't disappointed. We've already recommended to friends /family in Canada. Thank you for the great service !

Went for a date night for the first time under new management, and we were very impressed. The restaurant was super quiet (very surprising for a Saturday night), so perhaps it affected the service a bit, but the server was super attentive, constantly checking in, making sure we were taken care of. Fried mozzarella appetizer was pretty good, and the cabbage noodles were a pleasant surprise. Steak was cooked perfectly, something a lot of other places get wrong, the homemade bleu cheese was a nice touch too. It is a little pricey, but worth it for a nice night out...definitely not somewhere I'd eat regularly, though.

The service was very attentive and friendly, and the food was excellent. The rainbow trout was perfectly done. The atmosphere was fine dining yet still homey. I'd recommend this to anyone in the north country looking for a fine dining experience without having to drive a long ways.

This restaurant received one of my rare 5 star ratings because everything was perfect. Food, ambience, service were all top notch. The selection on the menu was excellent, the courses well thought out and timed perfectly. They were delicious, seasoned to perfection. We were never rushed. I marveled that I had grown up in Lisbon yet never managed to make it to this restaurant before. But I will be sure to return.

The food and drinks here are absolutely to die for, and the ambience is amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive throughout the entire meal as well. The real star was the coconut cake, though. I dont think I've ever had anything more delicious!

Sabad's is a wonderful family restaurant in Norfolk that offers unique items not found anywhere else. It also offers some unique flavors influenced by its Eastern European heritage. We always have a great experience when we make the trip from Ogdensburg.

Best place ever. Had family in town, decided on a late dinner, called to see if they we're still serving, mind you we had a party of 10, and they were. Very accommodating and great waitress. Food excellent as always. We will return time and time again. Thank you Sabads.

This restaurant has the best food and service. We had a party of 20 and all food was served the same time and hot. The restaurant let us do separate checks and no mistakes were made by waitresses. Food was served promptly and I give this place a thumbs up👍

Our family went there for a get together. Food was good. This is a little bit of an upscale place. You get bread and some relish items before your meal. Alot of us ordered the chicken cordon blue special. It was homemade and fantastic. Portions are pretty big. No burgers like I said an upscale place.Prices go along with being homemade food and not already made just heated up. We would go there again

The food is great. Comfortable and cozy inside. Could use a refresh, but I don't think anyone who goes there cares because they love the food so much and understand that the pictures on the wall don't determine the quality of the food. And of course the service! Another reason people look forward to going here-the service is excellent.

A jaded NYer. Easily the best restaurant around. Not great by any measure, but far, far better than anything in Massena. Nice atmosphere, competent staff and the food is pretty good. Onion soup was fine. The veal Marsala was a little bland, but cooked nicely and a generous portion. The linguini side was al dente and the sauce homemade. Might go back again tonight and try the the veal parmigiana.

Let me first say that I have been to Sabad's three times and have been served some delicious food. Some of the good: a relish tray to start the meal with a couple of delicious slaws. Very tasty! The cabbage noodles are pretty tasty too, though the noodles tend to be a bit mushy. Some of their pasta dishes have been very good as well. The garlic knots are delicious but a bit on the greasy side. The service has been generally competent and friendly. The Sabad's experience is certainly a mixed bag, however, and the establishment falls into a category of restaurant that drives me CRAZY: the place where you order an entree and then pick from a list of sides that at best have no relationship to the entree and at worst clash with it terribly! The last time I was there I ordered some veal dish with a sauce. The dish is just the center of the plate, no starch included. "Well, I suppose I'll get the side of spaghetti since that will go nicely with the saucy veal," I say to myself, not realizing that I have just made a HORRIBLE mistake! (Though I probably should have known, since I'd like to think that I'm a smart enough guy. Of course this is the same guy that ordered Eggs Benedict at some crappy diner years ago not realizing that they obviously will serve me some DUMPSTER FIRE from-a-mix hollandaise sauce that I wouldn't feed to my waste of space dogs...wait, where was I?) Yes, Sabad's and the "I don't care what you ordered for an entree or about how stupid you will feel eating your overcooked spaghetti with marinara on top when you have a piece of calf slathered with gravy that is practically BEGGING for a starch" message that their menu is giving me. I hate when menus are built this way and would greatly prefer a menu where each plate is composed as it should be served--if the dish has a sauce it should be served with an appropriate starch! Toppings, garnishes, and sides should all be integrated into a cohesive whole that is meant to maximize the diner's enjoyment. Anyway, if you are fine with this style of restaurant, Sabad's probably won't annoy you in this way and it is possible you'll actually quite like it!

Would never venture back, and that's the opinion of all 6 of us that dined, When you order a 38 dollar steak , You only get a steak, sides separate. Then they serve it cut in strips. Which makes it cool quick. I ordered Alfredo fettuccine with asparagus, added chicken. Expecting a grilled chicken. Came out plain heavy breaded burnt to crisp. The chicken had a old grease smell. Same with my friend who ordered chicken parm , service was not good. Waitress was snippy , and when we told her we probably will not return. She shrugged her shoulders and said oh well. Unbelievable,
