Pitfire Artisan Pizza North Hollywood Reviews
One of the best pizzas and pasta I’ve ever had (and I’m from NYC). The mushroom chicken pasta is to die for. Very consistent.
Got the pumpkin and the burrata. The pumpkin wasn't bad... there just wasn't enough of a sauce so it was dry. Maybe make a thin pumpkin and oil base and then add everything else on top?
Awesome spot, fresh ingredients, well made. The staff was super friendly and noticeably attentive and warm. I forgot to ask names but whoever was working last week was awesome. I’m going again tonight!
I’m obsessed with this place. It is beyond delicious. The atmosphere is so sensational. They have a fireplace that you can bring your whole friends to hang out around. It is amazing and I’m not kidding You. All of their food is Divine 💖 all of it!
Their stake salad was impressive and it turned out to be way better that I anticipated. Pizzas are always good here. Only downside is they usually have just one cashier and it creates long lines.
Came here several times cos it is walking distance from where we stay. Tried several items on the menu and my conclusion was - they were all good. Nice atmosphere. Outdoor seats with heaters and a nice fire pit where we can gather around. Can have a drink too - the draft beers were very nice. Street parking available.
Everything we had was super yummy. The pizza is 13", 6 slices. Salads are a generous portion. Get some things, split them up and be sure to get the cheesy knots!! Order at the counter, they bring the food to you. Outdoor seating available. Staff is the bomb. Parking not so great. Good for larger groups. Definitely coming again.
Just amazing!! IF YOU HAVEN’T TRIED THE SUMMER MENU, DO IT NOW!! The summer squash and heirloom tomato pizzas are absolutely delicious+so unique. These two are definitely dishes you won’t find anywhere else. Everything on the new menu is so refreshing and summer friendly. The seating area outside is still manageable in the LA heat as well (especially with a side of the dressed avocado or watermelon since these are colder dishes) The staff is wonderful! Will be coming back asap!
Came here with a friend for lunch. Atmosphere was good with options for indoor or outdoor. Parking isn’t the easiest and there are lots of cars around. The workers were kind. But this is a self-service joint. The bill was $60 (no drinks) and could have fed three. We took left overs home. The two things I didn’t like were that the appetizers came out with the pizza. In fact the meatballs came out, then the pizza, then the wings. So the pizza was a bit colder than I like when we got to it. The meatballs were good but they were chicken and I am not a fan of ground chicken. They would have been better if red meat. The sauce, cheese and bread were good though. The wings were the best. Great flavoring and they were boneless but looked like they had bone haha The pizza was good but not spectacular. It was a bit salty. So, hence the four stars because of the food being good but not excellent.
Outdoor seating is nice, service is quick and pleasant. Pizza is pretty good, a little thick and crust could be crispier and less doughy but overall good ingredients and value for a nice evening out.
Pitfire Pizza is known for its hand-stretched, wood-fired pizzas that come out perfectly crisp and flavorful. I visited the North Hollywood location, which is set on a spacious property featuring a lively beer garden, indoor dining, and a full bar. The atmosphere felt playful and welcoming, but since I went at lunchtime, it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful, making the outdoor patio seating especially enjoyable. The pizza was freshly baked and absolutely delicious, and I appreciated that the menu also offered vegan-friendly options along with a nice variety of salads and pastas. It’s a casual spot without traditional table service you order at the counter and help yourself to what you need which adds to its relaxed, laid-back vibe. Overall, it felt like a great balance between quality food and a comfortable, community-oriented setting.
Cool vibe with great food. The pizza was excellent, I recommend the Green Goddess. Decent prices and they offer pitchers of sangria so you don't have to order a bunch if glasses for the table. It's not a sit down restaurant, more like a nicer fast food place. You order at the counter and get your own drinks. Then someone brings your food to you. The food wasn't fast either almost an hour for the pizza to come out, and it wasn't even crowded. It's family friendly that's for sure. Kids were running all around and knocking into other people's tables with no concerns from the parents or staff. But that was just my experience and don't hold that against this place, although staff should have said something to the parents about the kids jumping off the flower bed walls. Strangest thing was needing a code to use the bathroom. There was no real interaction with staff so can't say much about them. All in all the food is fantastic, maybe just take it to go.
Food was just ok, the pizza was burned on the side, service was rally bad, tables were not clean, the waitress did not bring any plates or utensils to our table, we have to grab them from another table, also they never come to check on us or ask if everything was ok. We like Pitfire but never coming back to this location.
Ordered a margarita, crust was covered in oil they added a grip of Parmesan and oregano with extra oil for no reason. Felt very heavy, not the same pizza.. bench area smelt like urine. Was definitely caught of guard by that pizza
Was this a joke?! My almost $30 pizza was burnt and had almost no cheese. It was also overly salted. No one in my home could enjoy it and it was too late to go back for another. As you can see the same pizza from the Woodland Hills location was on point! Will definitely not be revisiting this location.
Pitfire used to be a solid spot for a good pizza and pasta, but my recent experience was a major letdown. For $30, I ordered Mac & cheese, a kids' pizza, and a drink, and expected something much better than what I got. The Mac & cheese was essentially noodles swimming in milk, far from the creamy comfort food I was hoping for. To make things worse, I found a hair in it. The only part of the meal that was good was the lemonade. The place could also benefit from a serious deep cleaning. On top of that, they have a "Happy & Healthy" surcharge of 3%. Restaurants seem to be tacking on extra fees for no real reason these days.
