The remodel of this restaurant is so great! It's been a little bit since we were last here and it was very traditional Chinese restaurant decor previously. It's modern, bright, and feels spacious now. The food is just as delicious and perfectly prepared as before and reminds us why they've been a staple in Northridge for so many years. Lunch special: Mongolian Beef with Hot and Sour soup Vegetable Pan Fried Noodles add tofu

I hope we have well passed the times when people wince when I mention a restaurant in a shopping center/ strip mall. When you decide to go to Hot Wok the first thing I want you to know is that all the staff is super friendly. Everyone will talk to you and make you feel truly welcome. As for the food, my wife and I started off with gyoza. It was perfectly fried as they had a nice crunch. My wife had the egg drop soup and I had the hot and sour. Both soups had great flavor but I preferred the hot soup. As for our meals my wife went with the cashew chicken lunch special. This dish had a truly great flavor. The contrasting textures added a great dimension. I went with the fried pork chop in Peking sauce. I am truly a fan of pork chops, especially fried. They were perfectly fried, they were tender and with the sauce a little messy but we’ll work it. I can’t wait until my wife and I can go back to try something else.

From the moment you walk into this place you are greeted by friendly staff. Lots of smiles. Great luncheon menu selection, drinks and more. They also serve wines. You can host group meetings, get together with friends and family. Easy to get to via Metro Bus Line 166, 240, 744, 167 in the Vons supermarket lot. The food is excellent and so are the prices. Many customers speak well about it. Needs a bit of improvement in the restrooms throughout the day.

I have not been to this Chinese Restaurant in many years, it was pretty good back then. I went last night and the service was impeccable. Jenny our server was on point. She poured water, sake and beers for me. She even boxed up our food to go. Unlike other places where they just hand you your box. The food was good, fresh especially the Orange Chicken. I will be going back and so will you.

Tasty food. Great tofu, better if not so much cabbage in it. Shrimp is excellent and so is the eggplant

We came here for a lunch meeting. The food was tasty and not too salty. The staff were friendly, and there was plenty of parking, which was nice. We ordered seven dishes and fried rice, and they were all delicious.

On rainy days, my wife and I like to sneak away before we have to pick up the kids from school and get an early dinner together. We came here for the lunch special, which is offered every day between 11 AM and 3 PM. They have plenty of options to choose from. We ordered the Cashew Chicken and the Kung Pao Chicken, which are both very delicious dishes that come with a side of rice. They have a lot of choices, just like any other Chinese restaurant. Most of the time I get the orange chicken, but this time I decided to try something new with the cashew chicken. I don’t think I liked it as much as the orange chicken I normally get. My wife got the Kung Pao Chicken, and she said she thinks they might have changed something about the meat, but we’re not sure what it is. We also both got the egg drop soup I think that’s what they call it and it was really good, especially on a cold, rainy day. The service here is pretty average and what you would expect from a Chinese sit-down restaurant. You can dine in or order over the phone and take it to go. The ambience is also what you’d expect from a typical Chinese restaurant. This is actually the place we order from every Christmas Eve. Would I recommend this place? Yes, it’s worth a try. They’re tucked away in the corner of the shopping center with Ralphs and McDonald’s on Reseda and Nordhoff in Northridge, California. Stop by and let me know how it is.

The food is excellent but I'm giving this rating for the service. Out for dinner with my sons and everyone else around us was being taken care of except us. I had to signal to our waiter to get service. As people were leaving they were told good bye, we weren't even acknowledged. Unfortunately we won't be going back and it's sad because this was always our go to for take out or delivery.

Never order they will say they’re too busy for you. Ordered 4:30 PM payed a premium to have it delivered 5:50PM and it’s showing it will only get to mine at 8:30. They’re not answering the phone. Horrible service never order worst decision you can make. Disgusting.
