I got the kuromayu and it was delicious. Tasted like getting a hug. My husband especially loved their chashu. The popcorn shrimp was way less bready than other places’. Our waiter AJ was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be coming back and trying their other ramen options.

Guaranteed flavor! Maru ramen’s broth just hits. One of my fav local joints in the valley for sure. Service was amazing, whoever our waiter was he was very attentive. Will be back again soon.

The food is amazinggggg!! I cannot put into words how nice it tasted. The broth was just right, the chashu and karrage was super juicy and tender, and the rice taste just like home! We got served by the legendary ✨ Betsy ✨and she was so lovely and caring to us ☺️ would recommend 10/10

This was my first time here and it didn't disappoint. The ambience was chill with darker interior, which i liked. The apps were surprisingly delicious. The Karaage chicken was juicy and crispy, the gyoza was cooked just the way i like it (fried on one side and steamed the rest as it should be), and the garlic edamame was better than most. It was all pretty addictive. I am pretty picky with my ramen from noodle texture to broth thickness and this impressed me. The cherry on top of all this was the great service we received from Tia. She gave excellent recommendations and was very patient and answered all my questions knowing that I was having a hard time deciding what to get. All in all, it was a great dinner experience.

Delicious ramen, service by Michelle was great. We had the kuromayu and the spicy miso. Parking out front and street parking seemed fine when we were there. Definitely recommend

Such a great ramen place and you get a lot of noodles with your soup. My friend and I came here for dinner after work. I seen and read the reviews about this place for a while but never had the chance to come here until today. Finding parking was easy since they have many spots in the back. When I walked in, I got seated right away but keep in mind that everyone in your party has to be there for you to put in your order. I got the Spicy Miso Ramen with no green onions, no bean sprouts, no seaweed and asked for extra noodles. The food didn't take long to come out and it was very good. I shouldn't of got extra noodles cause I thought they give a little but but I was wrong. The service was great, the waitress check in on us from time to time. They also take Apple Pay as a payment method too.

The staff is beyond amazing. Such friendly, tentative service. Food was delicious and the place was clean as well. My first time at a restaurant since covid. They had outdoor dining, which is better than nothing during these tough times. This place is a gem! Thank you Team Maru!

This place is really good! Can’t believe I didn’t know about until today and I live nearby. This will now be my go to spot for ramen and bowls. I got the kuromayu ramen bowl which was good and the chashu pork was sooo tender and delicious. The ramen broth was good (not the best but still good) and not overly salty. I would get the ramen again solely for the meat. Three pieces of meat doesn’t cut it for me so next time I will add more chashu pork for $3 to my order- you won’t be disappointed. My mom got the chashu bowl. My goodness, the flavors of chashu pork with the pickled onions, egg and green onions were just sooo damn good. We went for lunch and I wish I could’ve had her bowl for dinner but sadly she wanted it for herself lol. This place is seriously amazing with top notch service and I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

Amazing service and the food was incredible! Would definitely recommend the soup-less ramen if you are looking to try something a bit lighter. Karage had a great crisp and was not oily! Also, they have Diet Coke on tap! :)

One of my go-tos budget ramen. The chicken pops are good if served hot. Parking at the back can get full though. Staff are friendly. I think this branch is co-owned by Maru Bowl-ritto based on name. If yes, also love that place! Love the kind grandma working there.

Food, service, and atmosphere were EXCELLENT!! Did not dissapoint. Came from the Palm Srpings area to drop off our nephew back at CSUN, and stopped in for lunch before hitting the road. Saddie was an amazing server!! We'll definitely be back next time! P.s. we reccomend the brussel sprouts!!

Food is okay, but NOT WORTh $18 for a small bowl of noodle. I swear the ramen bowl gets slimmer & slimmer & u pay more for less. If u are reading this, u are better off going to a Japanese or Korean market get Kyoto TONKOTSU ramen it comes in 3 in the cold section and make it urself at for $5 and if u want chasu then thats another $10 that can last u 3 bowls of ramen & it taste as good. Who knows this days if the ramen they serve come from a packaging. All this ramen restaurant will eventually close coz it's too pricey for less volume, it's NOT worth the money.

I’d usually come here every few months to get my fill of Tsukemen since it’s harder to find in the valley and in the States compared to Japan. The Tsukemen is decent here, but it looks like the serving size has decreased quite a bit and more significantly the broth has changed. The broth is fishier than it was before. I also realize I asked for spicy but they didn’t make it spicy 🤣 It’s still good, but I may have to find a new Tsukemen place 😔.

The kuromayu ramen was one of the blandest I ever tasted; it wasn't bad, it just wasn't special enough compared to the nearby ramen places like Nippon or Rococo. The noodles were good and tasted fresh but portion was small Service was fantastic; however, the place was kinda dark.

Ramen was decent. Garlic edamame was super sweet, swimming in a sauce that was unlike any other I have ordered and I personally didnt enjoy the sweetness. Classic garlic edamame is what I thought we were getting. Chashu bowl had way too much sauce in the rice and a creamy sauce as well that takes away from the excellent chashu. The chashu by itself was delicious, it doesnt need so much sauce and pickled ginger and especially not the cream sauce. Let the chashu breath instead of drown, less is indeed more with chashu in my opinion.

I didn’t like it. They sold alcohol without checking ID. You can’t bring anything of your own. There were no condiments or sauces on the table. The egg in the soup was frozen — they didn’t even wait for it to heat up. There was very little meat, and not much pasta either. The soup was really weak.

The old lady had bad service ever. Never had any emotion. Every time she came to put our drinks and dishes. We said thank you to her. She never had any responses. Also the food was not good nor tasty. Not recommended and the place is small
