There seems to be a big improvement at this location in the last couple of years. The dining area is clean and the service is faster. The inside is spacious. Thanks for the improvements.
McDonald’s at 78 Town St. is a wonderful place. The staff have excellent Customer Service Skyler runs that drive-through like a well or oiled machine . Talk about multitasking.! She’s got it down. Michael on the window and Brian as well as Garrett at night make getting through a very busy location a piece of cake.
It’s a good place to get something quick to eat
This was an order on the mobile app for pickup at the counter. Several customers who ordered at the counter after me got theirs before I did, and all I ordered was drinks. I always seem to have better luck with the app in the drive-thru than at the counter. Everything else was fine.
I come to this McDonald's almost every day and order my drinks. So I know most of the people that work here and also see the turnover of the new people however there is this one girl with long colorful braids who never is friendly at all and she always has an attitude as if we are bothering her to do her job. This is my perspective as a customer who goes there daily but something needs to be done and some customer service training needs to be had with her! Other than that usually the service is pretty good and the people that take the time get to know who I am. I don't really eat much fast food but what I do eat is fine
I have been there a few times recently over a couple of weeks for Dinner. The app to order and employees there are fantastic and the expiditing of my order have been great. BUT, the dining room area needs effort. Each time I have visited this restaurant, toward the evening, there is food underneath the tables, on the dining room floor, used french fries container from previous customers and the tabletops (each different one that I sat at) are dirty and sticky. Each one that I sat at I had to use several napkins as a buffer between my food and the tabletops. I DID NOT want to take images to embarrass their management team and McDonald's but this location needs to get their act together with their dining room area when it comes to cleanliness, a decent image and for consumers who prefer to eat at your location of McDonald's What an excellent location right off Rte 395. Very disappointed. UPDATE 6/10/25 I was in town for work in Norwich Connecticut and I really believe that most management teams recognize that responding correctly is very important for a Business as with the McDonald's in Norwich, Connecticut on Salem Turnpike. Thank You and to the shift manager and dining room employee on duty this night. I attached a few pics of this beautiful McDonald's restaurant right off exit 11 395 north.

McDonald's is fast food and really what can you expect. The food was decent and even the customer service was decent. What I think made my cringe was the cleanliness. Go to get my drink,dead flies on the floor. Go to sit down food on tables,under tables. Looks like someone not for awhile maintained the eating area. We ate quickly and left. Sometimes not everyone is on same page. Ask manger if pumpkin pies are available when I saw her outside. Get to the ordering intercom. Order four. Get to the cashier and she says they don't have any pumpkin pie. I said two people have said you do. So she checks and says they have two left. I take the two. Get home and no pumpkin in the pies just cream. Figures lol.

TERRIBLE night crew workers. Always have an attitude, always rude, regardless of how nice you are. Just go to a different one at night
We all know McDonald’s has been going downhill for some time. But I went there to pick up an online order for me and 2 friends. They told me I couldn’t pickup 3 orders and told me I had to drive back around and go through the drive through for each order. That is absolutely ridiculous. That just clogs up the line and doesn’t save anyone time. After explaining that wasn’t logical they let me get all 3 orders. Why have online ordering to make it faster and so each person can place their own order and then complain you are picking up orders. When I finally got the orders I was not impressed at how the food was thrown together. There was no care at all taken in making the meals. The owner should really make changes to have friendly employees and managers that don’t want to make unrealistic rules. I would say there food is hit or miss, there has been better visits but this visit just left a bad impression.
Ordered sunday on mobile app, no acknowledgement or "hi" from the drivethrough window. Person abruptly handed me the sunday, lid off, which spilt all over me and my car. Went inside - nobody at the counter, no paper towels in the bathroom, no more napkin dispensers to clean myself up. Dreadful experience overall. What happened to Micky-Ds?
The lobby always closes early do to what they say is staffing issue. No one ever works the cash register they want you to use the kiosk instead. The stuff has poor attitude.

I come here a few times a week. I usually just get a coffee, but sometimes food. Today I got a Southwest salad, and this was in it. I have no idea what it is, or how it got in my food. Disgusting.

night shift doesn’t care about what food there giving out my burger was red not cooked all the way, my quarter pounder was more greasy then it normally is it was making the box sag. My french fries were hard as a rock.
The girl tried 6 times to get my order and got it wrong and still would have been faster to walk to five guys than use the drive through. I gave up and took the wrong food.

I recently went to this McDonald’s , they tried to say it’s policy to charge for an ice water , when knowing it’s not I went right to the town st McDonald’s they gave me the water for free and said it wasn’t even policy and they tried to finesse me , no McDonald’s should charge for water it’s free and the lady , who works night shift there , I didn’t need you to serve me I got my water thanks
The new system with ordering apps and having to put in your own order is cumbersome and slow. Nobody is at the counter and you are ignored. Seems to be a theme and all the McDonald’s restaurant.
I ordered food through the mobile app and waited for a long time. When I asked the waiter and showed her my electronic bill, she said that she needed the order number, but doesn't the electronic bill have the order number? She said that someone else might have taken your order. Oh my god, it wasn't me who took it. Was it my fault? As a result, I checked the bank and the money for the order was deducted, but I couldn't get my food. It was a very unpleasant physical examination!
Been in here several times when there are maybe 2-3 customers. takes over 10 min for my order to be taken and another 10 to receive it. I have seen horrible interactions with managers and awful attitudes. On to of that, I receive my 2 sandwiches today after being in the restaurant for approximately 30 minutes and they couldn't even be bothered to give me a full slice of cheese...It is stupid that they are so bad that they can't even make a fillet of fish properly...
