Decided to stop by here to pick up food for later for work. Didn’t realize until now (5hrs later) that they forgot to give us the churros we ordered. Should have checked after they forgot to give me my drink n I had to ask for it! They sure did charge us for it though. I tried calling and they don’t answer the phone.

9 minutes waiting in the Drive-Thru line with not even a single budge and then I got out and went into the store itself and I saw on the screen they had like five red orders that were not even served yet but plus a bunch of other ones. El Pollo Loco – International Blvd, Oakland, CA Every time I come to this El Pollo Loco, it’s always super slow. They clearly prioritize the drive-thru over inside customers, and there’s only one person making food while others are just standing around. I’ve had to wait up to 30 minutes for my order, which is way too long. The customer service isn’t great either—there’s definitely a feeling that some people get served before others, especially if you’re not part of the same ethnicity as the staff. On top of that, they allow homeless people to hang around, and the bathrooms are always smelly and not cleaned regularly. Another annoying thing is that you have to get your own drink from the machine and then keep getting up to ask for a refill, which just adds to the hassle. All of this has made me never want to spend my money here again. It’s a shame because the food is good, but the overall experience isn’t worth it. Something needs to change here.

They close the dine in area 33mins early so I got stuck in the drive through for over 30 mins they usually mess up my order when I go there but this time they didn't. Never coming here again. Picture didn't focus sorry but time was 9:27pm
