Homemade tortillas and the Tacos de barbacoa are the best! Street parking only which can be difficult to find.
Hidden gem in Oakland. Always good food and the handmade tortillas are awesome! I always get the barbacoa and it hits the spot everytime.
Great food! I love it here! You guys should really try the barbacoa.
Great authentic Mexican food! Although it is a whole in the wall, my family and I felt comfortable and welcomed!
The tacos al vapor are pricey but soooo worth it. I had not one but two consomes and a delicious taco de barbacoa. It was nice coming back after about 5 years and still being able to enjoy this whole in the wall with great tasty food.
Very close to what I had in South Philly barbacoa. Been trying to find a place that cares enough to make good, pure barbacoa & pancita tacos. Decent masa too!
Best in its class, if you happen to be in Oakland please visit this place if you love authentic homemade style food, specially on weekends, barbacoa. Birria, menudo, chamorros endless list, the neighborhood its somewhat not the best, and the place its a little hidden but what a gem I discovered, in my top of the list favorite places.
The food is AMAZING, waiter is so nice even when she is alone and super rushed! I love this place, and you get great food for your $. Well done, I don't have pic cause I'm always on lunch rushing but look forward to seeing some soon.
Amazing atmosphere, great food ( the tacos al vapor are incredible), owner and waitress were really kind. Will definitely be coming back
Delicious mexican food. Grandma and grandpa own restaurant. Handmade tortillas. Support local places.
Didn't take pictures I usually do. We had the lengua tacos and tripe tacos made fresh in front of us. They were delicious like having street tacos in Mexico. Friendly service and clean. Restaurants small but cozy and food is delicious very authentic. Would definitely recommend

My family came here to eat, 2 more people joined us. We had to ask the manager so they could take their orders. But apart from that, the food is delicious and exquisite.

On Sunday, March 12 I was in the Chiquita Taqueria in Richmond trying to eat some food. The servers came up with bad attitude and then took my order, we were about 10 people on the table, We wait approximately One hour in order to receive the food. But they didn’t bring my food 😧that was very frustrating because I was hungry. so I left my family on the table and then I went to eat someplace else. extraordinary non a good service I’m not going back to that place and I would not recommend it to anybody else.
I went for dinner an food took over 25 min to arrive. I asked for chips n salsa an waitress stated they ran out. I recd a plate of rice n beans with meat (birria) an did not recd trimmings (pico de gallo) normally you get a small salad, or diced onion, tomatoes, cilantro, chile garnish an was served a plain 3 item dish. Very disappointed with food. Handmade tortillas were good.
This place is horrible! The tacos de azada look like ground beef. After eating if gave me a stomachache. After reading the bottom review of the person that worked there and said what they do with the food made me want to run out of the place! And yes the food is seriously over priced and greasy.
i would give this place a 0 star if i could... I used to go eat there and i used to say the food , tacos and everything in the menu are delicious , until i started working for them and i only worked there for 6 hours and then i quit , i saw what they were doing to the people with the food and it was disgusting the food that you do not finish ( beans, rice , salad, salsa , chips) they give it to the next customer that orders the same thing , so what you are really eating its left overs from other customers that went to eat there before you, and a lot of people say i see them do the tacos, well yes you do but did you know that the meat that they are using its again left overs look at it and see for your self , the meat does not look fresh at all it looks really disgusting ... i would not recommend to eat there to anybody, and if you do eat there tell them to give you food that is fresh and not left overs... just saying
