We had lunch here today as recommended by our daughter. It was perfect for us. Lots of vegetarian options with great flavors. We ate the lentil-stuffed sambusa too fast to take a picture. We shared the vegetarian combo with buticha (chickpea dip). We also enjoyed their Ethiopian beer and honey wine.

This is our go to Ethiopian! Love everything they make but usually get the vegetarian sampler with butecha and mushrooms.

This is one of my favorite Ethiopian restaurants in the Bay Area. From everything I’ve ordered in the past few years, I’ve never been disappointed. They have amazing service, tasteful food and reasonable prices. I highly recommend stopping by. The restaurant also has outdoor seating which makes the atmosphere beautiful.

I love this place, and it is the best Ethiopian food in the Bay Area once Ensarro closed down from a fire (hope they come back someday). I enjoy their meat and vegetarian combination plates. I saw a review about the lack of taste. I'm not sure what happened to them, but I always had a flavorful dish and it smells amazing (I get takeout here once every other week). That review also said it was too fragrant? I think they have never had Ethiopian food, because that's a normal expectation of their cuisine. I saw a review about the length of waiting for their food. I do agree you wait a bit for your order, but it is so worth it. Give this place a try!

We've been going here for awhile, just ate here tonight and the food is consistently good. We usually get the banatu, special kitfo and doro tibs (not that spicy so my youngest kid likes it). Just wish they had an extra sink to wash your hands. We appreciate the good service & food and look forward to coming back again.

I ordered the split pea stew meal and received not even a full serving of a meal. This is a full meal i ordered and got something that looked half eaten and with very little food. My first time ordering here and now I'll be going to Enssaro from now on instead.
