Savemore Cafe Oakland Reviews
Love this little market! Very Bay Area with it's selection of drinks and snacks. Kombucha and kefir galore. CBD infused smoothies, keto-cups, probiotic raisins?! What will they think of next. Right next to these are cheddar jalapeno Cheetos and corn puffs. They've nailed the tech yuppie taste down to a T.

Love this place! Fabulous customer service and they have huge selection of adult beverages.
Always a great experience at Savemore Market. Awesome product selection, friendly staff, unbeatable prices—and now they deliver? Life = officially easier!
This is a wonderful neighborhood store, with a large variety of items packed into a small space. They now have a larger produce section outside, kouign amann pastries from local Starter bakery. Their beer and liquor section is nice as well. If you want something added to their selection, ask them. They will make an attempt at finding it.
Classiest corner store in the town. When I'm feeling fancy, or want something special to casually gift to anyone, Savemore's exceptional stock of goodies never fails me. My entire menu for a evening of self-care at home is ALL here (except my Lush bath bombs & bubblebars). Talenti Roman raspberry (or sometimes almond) gelato, Ticket's apple pie white chocolate, petite breakfast brie, Carr's Rosemary crackers, wine (cote des roses) and the makings for my signature hot tody (local honey, bergamot tea bags, Hennessey) all here. 👈💃
I have ordered several times through Drizly. A few times I have called the store directly to make changes or even a special request. They are always super nice and accommodating. Its my pleasure to support this business!
A great little deli with an incredible selection of beers, ciders and liquor. Whoever does their alcohol buying knows what they are doing - I often find relatively rare things here. Bonus!
Their ice cream selection rivals huge supermarkets...they probably satisfy tons of late night cravings from Glenview residents. Their prices are pretty high but 🤷🏽♂️
Best Market in the Bay Area awesome owners great selection. Lots of organic and vegan food.
Never knew this place had awesome sandwiches until I went in there one day , now everytime I'm in the neighborhood I will go there for awesome sandwiches.
Family owned and operated, always pleasant to shop from a large selection of🍺🍻!
These guys are the best and even though their store is small they have everything.
Great place for coffee! Quick and they serve Peets!
A great old-fashioned deli/market a main street in a Oakland neighbor hood
Family-owned friendly service and they cater to the neighborhood needs
Great local store when in need and nice hours.
Has what you need. Also, great sandwiches at the deli.
The best local family run grocery store
The service was great. A little pricey but, it was worth it.
I can always count on savemore:)
Great store to go shopping. They always have everything stocked and I love my favorite wine from here. Their ice cream selection is awesome. The help and people are really friendly and know the neighborhood very well. The price is a bit high but they are very convenient so it's no bother!
This review is exclusively based on their ice cream selection, which is nothing short of profound. I have traveled far and wide my friends, so believe me when I tell you: this store has the best prepacked icecream selection in the region. So many boutique brands. So many unusual flavors. Not cheap, but worth the splurge I think.
Everything you need for your local corner shop. A surprisingly nice selection of fresh produce, and all sorts of sweets to satisfy a craving. The beer and wine are also very well represented. For a quick lunch, grab a sandwich to go or eat it right outside. The customer service is also great and I'm glad I can support a local family owned business.
Wonderful little market in Glenview. They carry tons of organic and specialty foods and enough produce for a last-minute dinner run. They don't have fresh meat- just sausages, lunch meat, and a few high-priced frozen meat selections. Best specialty chocolate selection in the East Bay, I think. Run by an awesome family whose members remember you.
Great local spot, carefully curated items with enough variety to cook weeknight meals. Produce is generally fresh and high quality with prices that reflect the convenience and local market. Deli makes decent sandwiches at a reasonable price.
Great family run business. Items from around the world you won’t find at a regular market. Great people!!
Good neighborhood experience!
They are always open
Convenient location for the neighborhood. In a pinch it probably has what you are looking for. Nice selection of chocolates. But you aren’t saving a dime. It’s the Bay Area, be real. $6.50 box of Cheezits.
Very cute local deli has the most unusual and intriguing ice cream selection. I go for the Deli mainly when working down the street, I very much like their Ruben.
Nice natural foods store that stays open late and stocks essentials like Acme Bread and Strauss dairy goods. Produce selection is a little limited.
Solid neighborhood grocery. Of course a little pricier than average.
Had deli delivered... Really good
This is similar to a Lunardi's or Andronico's but smaller. Impressive selection of grocery items. Nothing had a price tag. They were open on Thanksgiving so I was lucky. I didn't care how much it cost. The coffee bar looks interesting but it wasn't open everytime I visited. They do have fresh brewed hot coffee.
Convenient but extremely overpriced.
UPDATE: for using a credit cards, now charge 3.5% or $0.59, whichever is greater, regardless of the total purchase. Again, no sign about this policy is posted. It appears bundled on a line item for “taxes & fees.” — I like Savemore. The people that work there are very friendly and they’ve got a good selection of items. That said, they should post a sign at the register letting customers know that they apply a $0.59 surcharge for using a credit card on all transactions less than $10. I believe there used there was a sign posted at the register back when it was $0.50 on transactions less than $5.
The sales people are not helpful at all! They had some great sale prices for wines, but they didn't have them in stock. Cheapest bottle was $12, for what is a $6 bottle everywhere else! Store is messy, really hard to find anything. I will never be back!
There were 5 guys who seemed to be friends of the owners or employees who weren’t wearing face masks, talking loudly, yelling to each other from one end of the store to the other. Do you all live on some imaginary planet where covid does not exist and you don’t care if your customers feel safe entering your store? I will never shop at your store again.
Way too expensive. They charge $11.50 for a loaf of bread that’s usually around $5 elsewhere.
Spend more is more like it.5alk about a strange group of owners and workers.over priced hippie foods, they're very judgemental &they'll treat you poorly unless they know you have money or are spending money
WORST CUSTOMER SERViCE IN THE WORLD if I could give 0 star I would. Head manager who is male is one of the meanest people I have ever talked to. NEEDS TO BE FIRED. Treated my mother and I with the most disrespect when trying to locate something in the store.
Bourbon selection is grossly over priced. They empty out the Luckys of all the rare bottles then resell 3-5x. I’ve seen their van loading up when the Luckys liquor shipment came in.
