This spot has had so many restaurants over the years and The Peach is by far the best. Lovely service, friendly, engaged. Everything we ate was delish. Their corn pancakes soaked in honey, a treat for the whole table. The Thai shrimp and grits was mouth watering. Omelette solid. And the bread pudding, crispy edges, soft inside, not to sweet. On my list to come back for sure

Don’t let the size fool you, this place is bigger than it appears. So if you see a line, still go in and check because that’s how we ended up here and I’m so glad we did! We got the Chicken & Biscuits, Chef’s Omelette, and 1 Golden Pancake. Everything we had was AMAZING and such a delight for the tastebuds. The compote jam they have here is also super delicious with the biscuits and the pancake! Highly recommend if you’re in the area for a cute brunch spot! Friendly staff and cute atmosphere!

Fusion comfort food you can only imagine. Tamales with plantain + calabasa. Bulalo tasting lamb neck with roti. Both dishes keep you guessing before lulling you into a food coma. Also the Ube ice cream sandwich with small pieces of honeycomb is genius. Warm service, exceptional food with ginormous portions. Great vibes and even better R&B music. Phenomenal ambiance. Christopher, Angie set the tone and then Chef Harold definitely delivers. Can't recommend this place enough.

I personally recommend this place. The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming, and the food is amazing with great flavor. I loved the quality of the service was always attentive. Even though the place was busy with many tables occupied, we didn’t have to wait long. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles and my friend had the mushroom omelette; both were absolutely delicious 🤤 I’ll definitely be coming back and give it 5 stars because there’s no higher rating.

Came to the peach today with a large party and was sat instantly, I fell in love with the service and ambiance before even tasting the food!! And the food was amazing as well and picture worthy which is what my girls love !! We tried many things the shrimp and grits, smashed avocado, and the mango sticky rice matcha to name a few. The service from Kennedy was so warm and friendly, I been a couple times but this one was one of the best. See you soon peach!!

Love this place!! The servers were super friendly and easy going. We were being annoying and having too much fun and our server played right along. Mimosas were so good, they juice their own fruit blend?! The menu was full of creative fusion dishes, we had a hard time choosing. Everything was delicious. The ricotta pancakes, the biscuits, the fried chicken and hot honey. Loved every bite. Would totally come back, exactly what you want for a brunch spot without any fussiness. We didn’t have the wait, the place was not busy. The server said that was unusual though. There’s street parking, just kind of have to look around. Most places say you have to pay but hardly anyone does.

Came for Saturday brunch around 10:30a, 3 people. We tried the iced rose matcha, one person had coffee, and shared 3 entrees - the French toast, shrimp and grits and the chicken and biscuit (no egg on it). Sharing was the right choice to get to try a little bit of everything, and although we felt full it was just the right amount. Everything had amazing flavor. The shrimp and grits wasn’t too spicy for me (someone who can’t do any spice, it did have a little kick but nice), and the friend chicken was perfectly done (crispy outside, juicy inside). Although there was some slight confusion on the egg for the chicken dish (not pictured), that led to us not getting an egg (which was not a problem), we honestly would recommend the dish without or on the side as we liked being able to have the biscuit with the butter and jam provided (yum!). We believe it would have been much messier with the egg on top. I will be going back to try more of the dishes. The vibe was lovely, servers nice and food incredible!

I stopped by The Peach during their grand opening, and it was a pleasant surprise. The spot used to house a different restaurant that I never got around to trying, but this time, as I walked by, the bustling atmosphere and someone washing the windows caught my eye. It was clear this was a brand-new place. The aesthetics immediately stood out to me—it feels cozy and inviting with warm colors and a thoughtful design. The positive energy from the staff only added to the charm. I ordered the SUSU steak meal, and it was absolutely fantastic. The steak was perfectly seasoned, and the presentation was top-notch. If you're in the area and craving great food, I highly recommend giving them a try. While the prices are on the higher side, it's consistent with the overall pricing in this neighborhood. For the quality and experience, it’s worth it.

The vibe was so cute and California chic. The food was good, especially the biscuits!!! The pancakes and smashed friend chicken and the open faced omelette is what we had and we loved it. My husband especially loved the potatoes as well. He came once and had to bring me back. Looking forward to what they bring to the Oakland community!

I had a great experience at the Peach at Night. The lamb and chicken skewers were both very delicious. The servers are very friendly.

Been here twice now for brunch, and I absolutely love it. I’ve now tried all the signature dishes, and they’re all fantastic. Particularly loved the bodega sandwich and the Thai-style shrimp and grits, but everything I’ve had has been yummy. Service is fast and super friendly, and even though there are a lot of customers, I haven’t had to wait for a table. Reasonable prices (for a brunch spot), too. They’re doing dinner now on the weekends, and the menu looks awesome. Can’t wait to come back for that!

The Peach is my go to brunch spot whenever I'm in the Lake Merritt area. The food is consistently elevated and outstanding. The service is as friendly as it is attentive and the prices are affordable, which is tough to come by in this economy. It doesn't have the pretentiousness or the long wait times that other places in the area have. Where else are you going to find an affordable bottomless brunch with delicious fried chicken and homemade biscuits and gravy?

Great first experience for brunch at The Peach. Food was on point, no complaints! Playlist was a vibe as well. Shout out to our waiter Sam for holding it down and taking care of us.

The Peach @ Night is an experience that whisks you away to the tropics of Southeast Asia. The ambiance is soft with beautiful peach walls, adorned with monsteras and lighting made from woven bamboo. If the ambiance doesn't transport you overseas, I guarantee the dinner menu will. The secret menu featured a whole fried barramundi with a trio of sauces- bang bang, verde salsa, and a dipping sauce from Indonesia called (I think) Kuah Cuka. The fish was so flaky and fried perfectly crisp with absolutely no oily aftertaste/mouth feel. Each sauce transformed the fish into a unique medley of flavors. My favorite was the Indonesian dipping sauce. It tasted sweet, brightly acidic, with a hint of nuttiness and spice from the chilis. The garlic rice tasted the way my best friend's mom made growing up. The combo of fried fish, sauce and garlic rice made me crave an egg for the full silog experience. The sides are not to be slept on. The cornbread is served on top of a pool of what tastes like fresh, raw honey. The broccolini was garlicky and light. The pollo entree was so juicy and well marinated. The sinigang wings were a showstopper!!! The meat falls off the bone; marinated in a sweet and sticky tamarind based sauce mimicking the flavors of classic sinigang. The desserts were super unique as well. We got both the caramelized avocado and ice cream sandwich. The avocado was simple and rich, served with a sauce that tasted like a cross between condensed milk and whipped cream. The ice cream sandwich was fruity and creamy with crispy honeycomb bites. I don't drink but the drinks my friends ordered looked gorgeous. I'd highly recommend for a cute ladies night/date night. I can't wait to try the brunch menu! Thank you Chef Harold & team for having us.

My friend and I happened upon this spot one night after waiting for seating at a nearby restaurant. WELL we ended up never going to the other restaurant as The Peach’s new dinner menu gave us everything we needed! Beautiful ambiance. Cute soju-based cocktails. And a menu that was fun, creative, and a delicious fusion of Southeast Asian cuisine. Would def come back for dinner! And I would run a marathon barefoot if it meant another bite of their HONEY MISO GLAZED CORNBREAD! That’s a must-eat 🤤😩

Got the Lucky Peach Plate: Potatoes were perfectly seasoned and had a slight hint of butter. The eggs were yummy and cooked to how I requested. Bacon was good as well! This restaurant is super cute and well decorated, it has southern charm with a hint of minimalism which makes it feel very open! The staff is super friendly. My friend had to run out to move her car and they came over and asked if she was coming back and proceeded to cover her food so it wouldn’t be super cold when she got back! Very thoughtful of them!

I've been trying to get to this place for months!!! I finally had the opportunity today to go 🙌 the menu is quite small ,I anticipated so much more they could have done with the peaches. I want to give huge shout out to Jackie one of the leads at the restaurant. You can tell that she truly enjoys what she does and she takes he position seriously. I appreciate you sis for taking care of me today. It's service like you provided today that makes repeat customers.

I have now been here twice, and they recently changed the menu which I feel was a bad move. I don’t know if they’re trying to cut prices or what but the new menu is not it. They have also seemed to eliminate the waiters/waitresses, which is very impersonal and takes away from the experience for me. Oh, and don’t forget the automatic 18% gratuity even if it’s just you. I had the French toast and it was pretty good but very pricey for one slice of bread. I asked the host before ordering how the chicken patties tasted, and she said they were kind of sweet. However, when I got them, they were very spicy with a hint of sweetness. If I would have known they were spicy, I wouldn’t have ordered them. The lemonade had a weird taste and even after being replaced, it wasn’t good so I left it there. The first time I went with their other menu, the food was pretty tasty, which made me want to come back but when I got there the second time I was very disappointed with the options and the way they do the service now.

2nd review. 3rd visit. 3 people. The experience got worse each time. Went for restaurant week special. They were out of items in each section (drink, starter, main). The food is basic, nothing worth a return. There was nothing thai tea about the thai tea cinnamon roll. The table was given the same menu with 2 different prices. They were out of items and changed the prices. Why change the prices and not remove the items that were not available?!?Most places inform guests with parties of 6 or more of a 20% gratuity. There was no signage, no message from the host or server and no message on either menu about the automatic 18% gratuity. The server informed us when they brought the check to the table. Then they lied and said that it's not for a large party but the receipt said large party gratuity. It was just 3 of us and we didn't split the bill. Paying the 18% gratuity wasn't the issue, it was the forcing it passively at the end without informing ahead of time. And we reserved the patio but they don't use the patio during the week.

I wouldn’t recommend coming here unless they up their game. I want to support new businesses in oakland but the food here felt frozen and something I could make quickly at home. I’m usually at least a 20% tipper this place requires 18% but I think because of the guaranteed tip the service is poor. Examples of this is are we waited around 40mins before we had to walk up to order. Had to walk up to refill our water, walk up to pay the check. I’m not usually a service stickler but it’s surprising how bad it is on a not busy day. The energy and vibe isn’t there. A lot of apathy around the food/attention to detail it’s not a place I’d want to up my spend or take risks. Hope it gets better. I like Jo’s a lot but this place is nothing like it.

very mediocre food for the price point. potatoes were hard/undercooked, bread js stale, and service is extremely slow. if you complained about the quality of the food, the server will gaslight you about how their food is made and that it was normal. took 30 mins for our 2 dishes to come out on a non-busy friday afternoon. gratuity is already included regardless of your party size, yet when the bill comes, another tip option pops up. already including gratuity yet the service being terrible is scammy. i can see how customers can accidentally double-tip if you dont read the note on the menu. avoid this place if you can

Saw a review on TikTok and I really wish these influencers would stop lying .. wasting folks money and be real. This was the worst breakfast I had and ordered something very simple. I thought the shrimp & grits was over priced at $24 while the traditional bacon, eggs was half the price. They charge gratuity automatically which is whatever. But the up charges on oatmilk .. and sliced cheese for the eggs was ridiculous imo. First & last time being here
