Come buy this fast while they're still not mainstream. Cleanest, quietest little gem. I apologize for the sloppy cross section, I had to chug half of it down in a bite (I had no choice). The okie and the classic are out of this world! (maybe the rest too, didn't try yet). Their fries are fried in tallow!!! They have amazing real ice cream for dessert too! I went to my church today, it was closed, so I came here. God, bless your ways and thank You for guiding me to the light!

II bought a pint of half zaza and half raspberry cheesecake ice cream for 12 dollars. A young girl cashier packs the pint full by hand. Once I got home, it was so delicious that I ate almost all of it. 5 stars! Perfect! No notes!

Pros: got the OG burger without ketchup or mustard, added bacon and lettuce - best smash burger I’ve ever had. Thin and crispy, full of flavor. Got hot fries (with Cajun seasoning) - amazing and delicious! Got a single scoop of Thai tea ice cream and it was so bold and creamy. Atmosphere was nostalgic of classic diner and clean. Service was friendly and fast. No notes.

Cool little spot I stopped in to grab some ice cream on a weeknight. The place was open late and worked out perfectly. I was drawn in by the banana Oreo flavor which was a first for me and I have to say it was super tasty. Ice cream was firm but creamy and definitely had a well pronounced banana flavor. Their cookies looked good as well but ice cream seems to be the star of the show despite having some other entree options as well. The interior was bright and clean and had nice art work around. Overall great place to stop if you’re in the area.

Really great ice cream place. I was surprised about the serving and flavor. I ordered banana Oreo, which is a flavor I have never seen before, and it was absolutely great. Serving wise, I have to say this is the largest serving I have ever had so far. I ordered a single with cone, which is at least equivalent to 2-3 scoops in a normal ice cream shop. It definitely worth your money to give it a try, and I will for sure come back again when I get opportunities and try new flavors.

The Okie Onion Smash with hot fries combo was terrific! Best burger I had in a very long time.

My first time here. It was a last minute decision and I'm glad I came. My burger was so good. It was prepared well and tasted great. It wasn't done too fast, but it didn't take long either. The guts working were great; very friendly and efficient. If I'm in Oakland again I'll make sure to go again. I highly recommend this place.

You should never feel bad about sampling ice cream flavors if you end up buying some!! We walked in on a Saturday evening right after the New Years, and there were a few groups and a short line. I tried 6-8 flavors and the cashier was nice about it. My favorites were Jasmine Milk Tea and Ube. $0.25 extra for 2 flavors in a single scoop

The fries and burger were solid, but the real star was the Thai tea flavored milk shake. Top tier. I fried my dopamine receptors.

I honestly wish I hadn't been so hungry that I forgot to take photos. We had the Okie burger with fries and afterwards had salted caramel/coffee ice cream in a waffle cone - all delish! The staff was friendly, fun and accommodating. Made my birthday a delicious experience. Thank you. We'll be back!

Lana’s is a great spot in Oakland with a really welcoming vibe. The ambience strikes a nice balance between cozy and stylish, making it perfect for both a relaxed dinner or a casual night out. The food is solid and thoughtfully prepared, with flavors that feel fresh and well-executed. You can tell care goes into the dishes, and everything we tried was enjoyable and satisfying. What really stands out is the staff and ownership. The team is friendly, attentive, and genuinely wants you to have a good experience. The owner is hands-on, warm, and clearly passionate about the restaurant, which adds a personal touch you don’t always get. Overall, Lana’s delivers great energy, good food, and excellent hospitality. Definitely a place I’d recommend and happily return to.

My GF and I went there today. We both got the chicken sammiches and they were AMAZING! Fries were great even though they got cold bu the time we got home (takes out). My GF got the salted caramel ice cream and she said it was super tasty (I was still too full for desert). The man and woman behind the counter were both very, very nice! Will definitely go back!!!

Had to run over to Oakland for some errands, was hungry for a burger and found this spot. It was excellent. One of the best smash burgers I've had in the east bay for sure. Friendly staff, delicious looking baked goods and ice cream (didn't get), clean and tidy, and just a nice vibe. Will be back.

I love going to Lana’s for ice cream. I am so happy they brought back the Macapuno. It’s so smooth and buttery. The Vietnamese coffee and banana Oreo flavors are also amazing. I tried the burgers once as well -definitely tasty. And the service is always wonderful. I just wish they could open sooner most days rather than just Fridays.

Easily some of the best burgers in the Bay Area. Their smash burgers, especially the Okie Smash are the creme of the crop with the thinnest patties and the laciest crispy edges. Would HIGHLY recommend going here!! Oh also their icecream is great too

Best ice cream in the neighborhood. They are a group of young ice cream professionals specializing in chill vibes and cold flavors. Oh they also got a crunchy juicy Deluxe Fried Chicken Sandwich that’s fire. Fast and friendly service. Stay Goated.

Solid smash burger. Only thing keeping it from a 5 is a good house sauce. Highly recommend their ube milkshake. It came out later than expected but the flavors were definitely there.

I’m not the biggest fan of Smashburgers (Give me a fat juicy patty any day), but these are pretty good. The real reason to go here is for the amazing ice cream. If you’ve heard about their banana oreo flavor, it is very much worth the hype. Overall, a local business worth supporting.

Payed $13 for just the chicken sandwich. Don't get me wrong, it tasted pretty good. Not $13 good though. I know, the business was reluctant to increase the prices. Maybe they should reconsider other cost saving methods. New customers might just want to stick with the ice cream. It looked pretty good.

They were soggy warm no longer hot, usually the fries are given as soon as done in my previous experience They were presented with a huge to go order which made me feel they had already been done and assumed to be a part of a to go order When I asked to eat there The young man was very very very very rude Didn’t give me a receipt even when asked At this point I want my $7.70 returned I And I will no longer patron this place The quality of food has went down a lot anyway From the cookies and Ice Cream Never had the butter was told it’s nice???? I enjoyed your fries hot crispy golden these were even unattractive dark anyway “John”, the name he gave represented this establishment as gross
