Chimichangas…in less time than fast food…and for like the same price? Enough said. What else do you want me to say? Go get your own.
I have been going to this location since 1994. Day or Night there always seem to have customers. The food is always fresh. The burritos 🌯 are massive. Depending on who makes it, you can literally feed two people. You can request to order to have cheese, sour cream, rice, guacamole etc... Favorite is chicken, with rice, cheese, and sour cream. I have tried various version of these chains, this location beats them all. I honestly believe that because it's near the back gate of Camp Pendleton, it gets so many customers is the reason the food is fresh.
I just got the best carnitas torta I've ever had. Prices are good, drive thru is 24 hours, horchata is just right. I'll be back every time I'm in the area. If your favorite Mexican place is Chipotle you won't appreciate this gem.
Carne asada fries, rolled tacos and Horchata makes for a delicious dinner.

This is one of the best Mexican places to get quick and hot food, especially late at night. The workers are always so sweet and the food is amazing! We frequent here multiple times a month since the prices are very fair. We recommend this place to everyone we know
The night cashier during the week is absolutely fantastic. He always greets me with a smile and gives excellent service. He’s the reason I keep coming back!

The food was hit and miss the chili relleno was ok, had a torta as well, and there was hardly any meat just bread. The horchata had a horrible taste I couldn't finish it, I took 2 sips and I was done with it.
Food was alright but the restaurant cleanliness wasn't the best. Now the restrooms were worse than a port-a-potty that has been used for a month long and never cleaned. Will I return? Probably not especially with all the other Mexican restaurants in the area.

First and last time eating here, took a bite out of this chewy thing and got a mouthful full of blood and nasty leathery taste
I ordered a bean tostada and this is the saddest bean tostada I've ever seen. I came here out of convenience because it's close. I stopped coming here a year ago I don't know why I came again today. They're not real friendly in there, I had to ask three times for the hot sauce I wanted. And then this Bean tostada is just... Terrible. I'll just go the extra quarter mile from now on to Alberto's. I know better. This Bean tostada is actually my fault. I'll never come here again.
Food was okay. Ordered a California burrito and a large soda. Person never gave me receipts so I checked my bank account to see how much it was (18.51) So I close by so went to go ask for a receipt (17.81) including Taxes. I just wanna if this has happened to others. If so . This not okay

food was horrible wasn’t even real carne. Threw my food away. Won’t go back.
Worst California burrito I’ve ever had. Meat was tough. No flavor. Food was dry. California burrito Carne asada burrito and A number 11 plate equating to 50 dollars is insane. Especially when the food is NOT good.
Just got this for a delivery service, the food was cold and bland. Both burritos did not make it past 3 bites…ended up throwing them away. Don’t waste your time or money on this place
I wanted to try a New Mexican food spot. And I’m not too picky when it comes to Mexican food because I love it! However, everything I ordered here did not taste good. First, my Jamaica was very watery and sour. And my boyfriend ordered a Horchata and it was also watery and didn’t have a thick consistency like it should. My beans were very dry and salty and the tortillas were hard and chewy. The salsa wasn’t very good either. The only thing that tasted alright was the rice. Like I said I’m not very harsh when critiquing food but this was probably the worst Mexican food I’ve had.
consistently disappointing. Egg shells in breakfast burritos 4/5 times and last burrito has practically unseasoned steak. Not worth continually wasting $12+ dollars on food I cant even salvage at home into a quesadilla or literally anything that is worth the trouble :/
I'm all for a hole in the wall burrito joint, but this place is rough. Even from the drive thru you could tell this place was dirty. I got a breakfast burrito and to-go water cup. The water looked like lemonade and tasted like cleaning products. The burrito was basic and had nothing unique about it. I feel woozy, but not bad enough where I need to hurl thankfully. It's 24/7, but not good enough to go to just because it's one of the few places open at night. Save your money and go somewhere else.
The California burrito sucks, just unseasoned meat, bland fries, bland pico de gallo. Shouldn’t have to request for guacamole/sour cream, especially not cheese. If you can, try a different spot.
Awful place, the food was almost alright but the texture was rubbery like the meat had been boiled instead of grilled. The service was awful the dopey eyed woman at the register kept writing our order wrong (it wasn't that complicated) it finally seemed like we got it through her thick skull but it still came out wrong when confronted she tried to gaslight us and say we didn't ask for modifications. Awful restaurant, never coming back.
bsolutely Heartbreaking Sellout – Avoid at All Costs I’ve lived here since 1985, and I remember when this place meant something. Back when it was called Roberto’s… or was it Eriberto’s? It even used to sit proudly next to El Pollo Loco. It was the kind of spot you could get a burrito the size of your arm. It had soul. It had flavor. It had authenticity. Now? It's a hollow, money-grabbing shell of what it used to be. The burrito I got today looked like a constipated taquito — limp, sad, and barely filled. They're charging outrageous prices for what amounts to one-third of the portions they used to serve. And for what? To cash in on the poor Marines stationed nearby who don’t know any better. It’s exploitation disguised as tradition. This place has completely abandoned any sense of heritage or pride in its food. It’s just another soulless fast-food stop pretending to care about Mexican cuisine. There’s no love in the food, no culture in the cooking — just dollar signs in their eyes. If you ever had fond memories of this place growing up, do yourself a favor and skip it. The disappointment hits harder than the food ever could.

Too expensive for the quality. California burrito was pretty much just meat and fries. Horchata watered down. Got a good four sips of my large drink because it was all ice.
