First time here and this place is dope! The employees were great and helped me figure out what was going on because I was lost as to what to order. I ended up getting a Honey dew snow bubble with boba and it was divine. I am 100% coming back here !

It’s great the service the staff is friendly and look professional. Despite not having a lot of people in the cafe section of seating they’re not on their phones and actively trying to work when no one is there. Truly the best!! Every table is clean and the floor is spotless!! (The music is amazing too, not too loud and not too quiet and the just right amount of melody no harsh noises in the music so ambience is nice and perfect)

Accessibility: there are a few disabled parking spots across from the entrance of this building and there are two ramps to get onto the sidewalk. The doors to enter are pull doors. There are no places to sit outside but there are short tables with moveable chairs inside. Masks: required as of 2-6-2022. All the staff and customers were wearing masks. Experience: this place is a little hidden but it's great! I ordered a peach green tea with aloe and it was very good. It was a stronger flavor than I expected but still good! My friend also loved her drink with boba in it. The employees were all super nice and welcoming!

Everything is five stars, except food. Only because I have a soy, dairy, and nut allergy, they did not carry oatmilk. I hope they start to carry oatmilk soon. I substituted with a green tea and mango with Boba. Which came out to be five stars. Brown sugar frosti milk with boba, came out fabulous. My kids loved their drink. I am a return customer for sure.

This is a chain of Boba Tea shops. The staff is friendly enough when not being rushed by three large amount of people coming in. Since Barnes and Noble is near, it can get quote crowded. The drinks are lretty good, and the Crispy Chicken is very tasty. I like mine medium on the spicy scale, with the ranch dip for them.

Great BoBa! Drinks are always good. Staff is all friendly and very nice! I'd recommend the Taro milk tea with boba! It's better if you get it in a icy form! Fun place to sit and chat, very modern setup!

Place is decent for when I don't want to travel far to get boba. Sometimes the music is a little too loud, especially when they're taking my order and they can't hear me. Overall, it's a good place to grab a quick drink or maybe study from time to time.

The staff was friendly. I gota caramel milk tea and it was good! They have so many flavors to choose from, it's amazing. But the boba was a little too chewy. I felt like I was chewing more than with other boba drinks I've tried. I would still go there often though.

The employees were very patient especially when it took forever for us to figure out what we wanted. There are so many different things you can try and so many combinations you could make and they all taste amazing! I definitely plan on a second trip.

Customer service here has always been great from all of my experiences. The folks behind the bar are always kind, informative of any questions and knowledgeable. They make drinks quickly and timely and are always consistent. As a vegan I am often limited to what I can drink at boba spots but they have a variety of options as a vegan.

This was my first time coming to this Tapioca Express location as it is one of the few known boba locations close to home. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, they do not take phone orders for pick up. Arriving on-site, I understood why they did not take phone orders as they did not have enough staff to assist. My customer service experience here was good. I had no issues with the service as the cashier was nice and did the best he could with only two people working the front. Not only was he nice, but he was also honest and transparent with his recommendation, so I really appreciated that. After I placed my order, a line began to form and it was busy. The reason for my three star is because: 1) the kitchen was closed and I was looking forward to order popcorn chicken and squid balls and 2) I ordered three snow bubbles and one jasmine green milk tea with boba. The snow bubbles were very icy, so it lacked some flavor as it continued to melt. I requested to have boba in 2 of the snow bubble orders, but boba was missing in one of them, in which I paid for it. However, I did not realize it was missing boba until I already got home, which is my bad as I did not see it until then. For my milk tea order, it had no ice at all, so the drink was a bit warm/at room temperature. I understand the staff that fulfilled my order did the best he could as it was busy and probably just forgot. Due to this, unfortunately, I can’t give it a five star if I’m being honest. Perhaps next time the quality of my order will be better and hopefully they open their kitchen back up. I cannot say I highly recommend this place, but if you’re craving boba you should give this place a try.

Had the mango icy cuz the guy recommended becuz it was my first time there and also said to pick a jelly so I pick mango and green apple I was very impressed. The second time I went there I ordered the strawberry icy with Boba and green apple jelly. The strawberry icy was weak and u can't taste the strawberry at all and I'm not a fan of Boba becuz to me it had no taste. I'm willing to try the pineapple and the watermelon ones next only with jelly not boba.

Made the extra 15min drive to try a new boba place.. Super slow service. Think it's more of a staffing issue. But I was outside for nearly 30 min. Then come to find out they ran out of matcha. Let's hope the drink makes up for it cus the clocks still ticking. 35min all in all for 1 drink on a Wednesday evening. Not at all crazy busy. Needless to say they need more staffing. The drink is ok. Won't be coming back here tho if I could help it.

Chairs where put up at 930 which made it look closed and then when we walked in, it was as if we were being an inconvenience to the cashier. When I asked her if the tiger tea was good she was like "yeah" then said the total as if I ordered it. I get it was late but close at 9 then. The tiger tea was good and probably would be better as a snowbubble.

1. After covid start, boba get no taste like the regular boba should be. This one just chewy and not like it used to be. I guess they're too busy to soak sugar with boba. 2. Personally, I think the price is too high. If it can get $2 cheaper. 3. Service isn't friendly, but not that bad... 4. Out of 10 times order avocado, 7 times out of it. Which is a little bit frustrated because it in the season for avocado, so??? 5. Rarely, but yet happen. Avocado drink tasteless like water... happen twice, I don't know why.

Okay lets be honest, this is the only GOOD boba within 15-mile range. Decent tea decent boba. Can't say the service is absolutely terrible, but just don't compare the service with Starbucks or any fast pace restaurants. So your experience with this place would be either you are super lucky that no one is in line and you can get your drink and food within 15 mins, or you would spend 20 mins just waiting in line and about another 10-15 mins to get your drinks. Please improve the wait times! They seem to consistently have about 3~5 staff per shift and generally, most of the time, staff would welcome you with nice words but zero smiles, unless they are talking each other. They just seem pretty done with their day. Overall, just you order online and ignore the lines because nobody wants you there.

Not sure why I still bothered coming to this location, besides it being convenient for me. Trust me when I say you’re better off taking your money to more deserving boba place. Employees have the LOUSIEST attitudes. I’ll be waiting in line and hear at least one girl talking smack about a coworker who’s within earshot, or talk condescendingly to their customers, not sparing a modicum of respect. Shocked at how much worse it’s gotten, as if they despise anyone who enters this establishment. Lately the boba has absolutely no taste whatsoever with the consistency of soft snot. If I order any food, it is the furthest thing from fried, let alone cooked or warm. I experience this every. single. time. Suffice to say, this’ll be my last visit to this location. Hopefully it gets better management…

I wish that I could give more stars cause the Boba was delish but the service and wait was horrible. Waited 45 minutes just to order my one drink and after you wait all that time they toss the drink at you. Everything was empty and couldn't grab a few napkins for the dripping drink. I was hoping to get some lumpias but they said sorry, kitchen is closed. There was no sign that the kitchen was closed and it was 2 in the afternoon so the only other reason I could think it was closed was cause they were already busy and they didn't want to deal with it. It wasn't really the employee fault cause there was only 2 employee with a store full of people. Management really needs to schedule better.

Giving 2 stars because my first experience here was not great. We waited over 25 mins for 3 drinks while other people who came in after use were receiving their drinks first. I felt real bad there was only one barista scheduled. Not sure if I’ll give this place another try when there are so many other boba places.

Im sorry, but there needs to be an implementation for customer service training. It was my first time here, and if short staffing is one that needs to be addressed then please hire a 2nd person. While the staff member was nice, she was the only one there who took the order and then had to go make it. In that time, 2 customers came in and left because they were waiting and nobody was at the register. Then, appearance is another thing. I get there must be an issue right now with the ceiling, but the seats needs to be addressed. The booth and couch looked....bad. Torn and peeling doesnt exactly look appealing. Now, the food is good, the chicken is good and would recommend it. But there needs to be some improvement done

man, ive tasted some bad boba milks teas, but this one wins the worst ive ever tasted. after two sips i had to throw it away fear of getting sick, why does matcha milk tea taste slimy. never tried anything else, might be okay, but milks teas are a no go. you can try for yourself . i hope i dont get sick tommorrow.

Definitely won't be returning. I'll stick with TNL who knocks it out of the park every time.

Ordered 2 Taro teas and arrived with no boba makes no sense if you’re ordering a boba tea. I called Tapioca Express and were not understandable blame everything to DoorDash unprofessional answer from the tea place they just lost a costumer. I will never order anything from this place again not only they charge outrageous delivery fee but also they give you the drinks incorrectly.

I always get my drinks in this store from the time they opened. I had very bad experience with some of the employees, especially one of their leads Germille and the other employee Mikaela Veneracion. Luck of respect, very rude. I asked her why she is gouchy that day I came .She answered me. Coz it is only 1:27 and I go home at 5pm. Handed to me my drink and receipts in a very rude way and rolled her eyes for the whole time. I am an adult.A mother of 5 children that takes my kids for drinks in this store. What kind of customer service is this. Are their employees train well for customer relations We don't feel like coming back to this store.. I have a lot of military family that come to this store driving from base just to get drink. Very Bad behavior for these employees., Management needs to do something about this..

I was sadly disappointed with the crew on how they took my order. Ordered thru post mate 4:27pm order pickup was 5:27pm. Got a text that order was confirmed. And i got there at 5:35pm. Just to be told my order " has not been made". Told me that my order will be done in 30 minutes. So after 1hr of time they had to do it and to come supposedly do a pick up i had to wait another 30 minutes. Horrible crew no teamwork or no communication.

Just stop in tonight around 8is. Not busy. Just me and another customer ordered. I asked for a large oolong milk tea with boba, no sugar. I got a large water with milk and no boba! No tea favorite! That was $6! Will never return!

This place went downhill after Covid, they don’t put fruits on top of the drinks anymore, my strawberry frost syrup was so sour like as if it was old and the ice cream part tasted watered down like as if they just put a bunch of ice for the large to make it quicker… this place is nasty now, don’t waste your time they obviously don’t care about the customers anymore. Just threw my nasty watered down drink away. Pure lazy workers who just want to leave quickly as they can even if it includes messing up an order, how sad . It tastes like a thin watered down smoothie 🤮

Terrible customer service. Went there a couple days ago and they made my drink wrong. I asked them to remake the drink and they said okay and left, didn't remake it. Had to pay for another one. Another time my friend got their chi chi fries and waited 20 minutes before asking if her fries are on the way then the worker told her the machine was broken. Also another time the tall guy got frustrated when I ordered three mango green teas...

Ok, so good boba; if they get your order right been here 4 times in the last month and 3/4 of the times the orders been wrong(all forgot the boba). First time realized it was a fluke and just went with it, didn’t complain. Second time asked them to fix it so the worker poured out some drink put the boba inside, it was overfilling so then he poured most of the boba out and gave it to me. If already spent 20 minutes to get my drink and order so we just left. Today got a drink on DoorDash and they again forgot my boba. It would be okay if you didn’t have to pay XTRA for it. So I tried to call the restaurant twice and no one answered so here I am.

I was in the Oceanside location today at 2:45pm looking to get my favorite boba drink and snack. Not only was the kitchen closed for some reason but the young lady with curly long black hair that was working there was very condescending towards me and said she couldn’t make my drink because she had been getting complaints about it…I always order this certain drink and never had an issue with ordering it. All in all she just seemed like she was annoyed that maybe she had to work a little extra? Also with the kitchen being randomly closed and I could easily order food on postmates or doordash. I’m just really confused why it was complicated to order a drink and food from a place where that’s what they do? There was no sign saying the kitchen was closed and there was no sign saying my drink couldn’t get made either. She did make my drink and she was done she stated “this is the best that I can do” I was super confused the drinks were fine and tasted fine so yeah I just think she was annoyed cuz I made her work? Which was weird cuz she works at a restaurant lol.
