OMG this cod fish taco was perfectly cooked, the Pico, seasoning, fresh lemon and sauce made every bite perfectly balanced 👌 😋 🙌 That coleslaw is a MUST as well. Hands down my favorite of all time.

Tin Fish is one of my favorites, never let's me down. Fried cod taco/burrito and fried oyster po'boy. The waffle fries are also great. Too much fried stuff you ask?🤔 Never! 🤪

This place is conveniently located right underneath the bridge and deck. Lots of other things around this area as well. Prices were $12 to $25 per plate. I ordered their clam chowder in a sourdough bowl which was great. Their double stuffed fish tacos weren’t actually a taco but just a bunch of fish on a large tortilla, like a fish burrito just not wrapped.

We were there yesterday and had dinner for my husband's 42nd birthday. The man who took our order was so nice and gave us a discount and then I ended up giving it right back to him in a tip. Our food was so good and made fast too so we didn't have to wait very long. We were starving so we were glad about that too. We decided that Tin Fish will be our go to spot in Oceanside each time we visit there. Glad we got there when we did because the line got long as we were eating which proved how amazing they truly are. Thank you Tin Fish! 🐟🐠🎏🎣🐡

I went here on a rainy day. Ordered some comfort food onion rings and crisscross fries. The best onion rings I've had in a long time. Good size portions. They need more tables with umbrellas for the rainy days. The staff was super nice

A great place that kinda is setup like a beach/pier restaurant. Everything on the menu is good. Though the cheeseburger burrito is only served in the morning (because of eggs), so I was disappointed that I couldn't order that. But the family was happy and it was good. I'd like to try and the Fish and chips, as I had the burger. It was like any other burger, but still good.

So I'm from the Midwest and don't eat on the beach often, but retirees on the boardwalk recommended the place. My fish was cooked really well. Good fries and cold slaw and enjoyed the vanilla milkshake. Menu has lots of options with different sized portions. Picnic tables were all clean. Staff was friendly. Would recommend.

I get my favorite fish tacos here. They are still good after all these years, but a bit better in 2011. I've tried other tacos in the past but the fish taco is my favorite. The best part is they are still affordable. Did I mention it's right on the beach?! The rough and tumble crowd has gotten a bit more rough lately, so you are at a disadvantage if you are there alone.

Update:11/17/2023 still good!!! The Tin Fish was surprisingly delicious I had a massive fish taco (cod). The location is superb. The staff is nice and friendly. The service is fast and you don't have to wait to long for the your order to be called up. I really enjoyed the taco on a flower tortilla with the white creme salsa and cheddar.

I used to reccomend people for the large portion and their original fish taco. Unfortunately Portions have shrunk for the fish taco over the past 6 months. More expensive than most restaurants feet away. Unfortunate that prices went up and portions went down. I'd recommend the harbor for large fish tacos now

been a customer since you open your doors. the food was top notch. always perfectly seasoned and cooked. being the son of a seafood chef i fell in love with your food. and its been a while sinse i got an order from you. yesterday i was looking for a seafood dinner that i could trust, and came upon your stablishment. disappointment hit me on the first bite. the shimp was overcooked and overseasoned. i just got home from from heart surgery so salt wasnt what i expected. it seems that the longer restaurants are in businees the quality of their food goes to hell . and yours took that turn. in my opinion whoever you have running your kitcken doesnt give a darn about what you started. overcooked and overseasoning is a sign of not caring, you should start over . cause right now your food does not reflect the care and taste of your earlier sucess.
