Linda did an amazing job. They were short staffed. She did amazing taking care of customers. Some of the workers never showed up. Linda had awesome customer service the whole time. It was starting to get busy on a Sunday. It's been years since I've been at a church's chicken. I will be back as long as Linda is there!

The only reason that this review is getting five stars is because of the older lady that has always worked there since I've lived here the younger kids are so beyond rude and do not help whatsoever they get frustrated when you ask for missing items from your order You sit at the drive-thru forever Just beyond rude people. But that older lady is always so nice and kind and she will give you a couple extra tenders with your meal for the inconvenience she is the most kind-hearted lady and does not deserve to be working with a lot of the kids they have up in there.

Girl who helped me was friendly and sweet. I brought a coupon and she made sure that everything was correct. They don't have spicy chicken today but all the food is amazing as usual.

Chicken was really dry. Over cooked. Mac n cheese was mushy. Employees were very friendly.

Check your order before leaving specially if you have a big order.. 5/16/22 They didn't gave me my #4, 5 Tenders and jalapeño bombers was missing 6 biscuits during Lunch time at 12:30pm..

I stopped by this particular Odessa store after lunch around 1:30 or so on Friday, the 14th. I wanted a 10 piece to go and was behind another customer who was ordering. While I was waiting I noticed the chicken that was in the rakes in the kitchen and it looked kind of dark. It looked as if it had cooked too long. The customer in front of me was having problems deciding what he wanted and backed off and let me do my order. When I stepped up, the chicken looked incredibly dark, but I ordered anyway. When I got back out to my vehicle, I proceeded back down the road and was almost to Fort Stockton before I tried eating it. When I opened the box, the chicken was just short of BURNT. When I tried to eat it, that was an ordeal all of its own. Even the meat on some pieces had been overcooked and it just could not be chewed. The pieces were even miniature in size. This was a disaster. $20 spent on burnt, inedible chicken. I have been eating at Church's for YEARS and have never EVER had an issue like this. As a matter of fact, Church's is my preferred place for chicken. This was a TERRIBLE experience and will make me quite careful in the future when ordering chicken from them. It is safe to say that I will never be doing business with this particular store again. It might be a good idea for the manager to check on their fryer system to make sure it is working properly and that the employees are aware of the proper cook time for fried chicken. And the size of the chicken pieces looked as if they were KFC rejects. Not even real chicken pieces. This whole thing was a total disaster.

I placed an order that was over $60. After they took my payment they informed me they were out of white meat. They first said it would be 15 minutes then 20. I told them I would have to wait, that's the whole reason I came- to get white meat chicken for my husband. I've been parked out front for over 45 minutes. Still haven't received my food. Several people have came and went.... They seem to be getting their orders without issue.

Please check your order before you leave. They forgot one of my sides and substitute pieces when they don’t have enough for your order. I only like dark meat and got breast pieces to complete my order. The sides were not up to par. Macaroni and cheese was burnt. I order the same thing every time and it is getting worse and worse.
