Just had an excellent sandwich at this Ojai location. Been there many times and always had good service and great sandwiches. Today the server was new to me . She did an excellent job, made a great sandwich Really outstanding service, outstanding sandwich. Name is Michelle, don't know about the spelling.
I've been in here a couple of times and was met with sarcastism by the employees and overall rudeness. But the last time I went in there, the employee was amazing. He made the best subway sandwich I had ever had and his warmth was undeniably contagious. What an amazing experience. If you go in there and elijah is working you know it'll be a good sub!
I come to this subway a LOT.Its always clean and cool inside with the staff being super friendly and welcoming:) I always get my spicy Italian and sometimes they can even guess my sandwich! I’m becoming an official regular bc I love this store so much :)!

It is 926 am and I have been standing outside the this Subway since 845 am. Business hours are posted 8 to 9. And location is still closed

Very rude customer service to the point of not going to this location anymore in mieners oaks near ojai ca. There are limited places to eat here and these two women are so rude every time I have went in there. To top it off do not ask for fresh sliced anything and definitely do not expect to get the cookie or churro as they say they are not available at their location.
Refused to refund an online order. Order a steak egg and cheese wrap online , 20 mins later went to pick it up and they said they had no eggs. Then proceeded to refuse refund our money or tell us how to go about all they knew was how to say I don't know. Will not be going back to this and currently getting in contact with corporate so something can be done.
Out of all the Subways I've been to across the midwest, the one in my own hometown of 30 years, sandwich buying, is the worst in existence. They make it clear that they literally hate you, as soon as they make first eye contact. From here on out it, it is blood, and your sandwich experience is going to be absolutely traumatic by the time it ends up in your hand. Your sandwich will be wrong, and no, you won't have one remade, or get your money back. You will only receive the cold-dead-stare of someone who considers you their mortal enemy, untill you leave the establishment dissatisfied with or w/out sandwich. Sub-Zero ala Scorpion. It's as if the employees are stuck doing chores because the manager grounded them, along with their self. I can easily say this Subway has been in this condition for atleast the past 4 years. No sign of a franchise manager, or corporate response, to any of the SERIOUS problems that exist here and have been made known. 15 years ago, this used to be a great place to eat. Horrible, the rudest young-girl-with-an-attitude service ever!! Avoid at all costs! The only reason they get any businesses because they’re the only Subway in Ojai. Today is the day before Thanksgiving while I’m on the phone with my boss as he’s ordering for his very hungry construction crew, this little girl is being so rude as he tries to order. No friendliness no please and thank you just super freaking rude and short. May I have Coke? Yes but it’s not cold. OK can i have a cup of ice then? No I can’t have cup and ice? We don’t have any ice OK so can I have my money back? what?! So you don’t want them? No I want my money back **eye-roll* why would I want warm Coke? You don’t have to have an attitude!(she says with a ton of attitude) I don’t have an attitude, you have an attitude I just want my money back I don’t need you being rude to me And how old are you young lady? You should learn to respect your elders. Omg Subway start over…customer service. ZERO
Every time I have gone to this location, which is new to me, in the last 2 months, I have encounteted the following: The women who are there are often hanging out in back, and after s3vetal minutes of waiting, I encounter a communication problem. They cannot or act like they cannot, understand English. So there's lots of repeating, and time wasting. And the whole transaction is done in a really cold and rude manner. They also often just randomly put some ingredients that have not been requested. I have a severe allergy to bell peppers, and I would never ask for them anywhere, anytime! Yet I just now had to pick out a large amount of them out of my salad. I'm done.
I've lived in the Valley for almost 15 years and been to this Subway for atleast 10. Today was the absolute worst experience I've ever had with them or any Subway I've ever eaten at! Order 3 subs... Bread on all three footlongs were torn open, not cut Ingredients were thrown on the sandwiches and mixed with other ingredients Was told i couldn't have additional ingredients on my sub because they werent on the advertised sandwich. I would have gladly paid for extras, not an option You could tell the two Sandwich Suckers didnt care at all about the customer Wont be buying here ever again!
I went to this location the last two Saturdays in a row. Both times, there was a sign on the door that read, “ Sorry! Cash only.” On Saturday, 6/13/21, I asked the teenager who worked there about the sign. She said, “yeah. Our computer is down.” Really? No computer, and cash-only sales for a whole week?!? I asked who owned the place and she said she didn’t know. It certainly seems like the young people running the place don’t want to be that busy...!
Every single time I come here I have an awful experience. I only get food here for my daughter who had sensory and texture issues and NO ONE HERE knows how to read the special instructions area, they give you attitude whenever you try to correct their mistakes, these are the rudest people I've ever dealt with before. Screw this Subway, literally don't bother.
I placed an order on the mobile app, buy one footlong get one half off. My boyfriend and I ordered the same sandwich, the Bella Mozza, but there was a glitch on the app and evidently the order wasn't actually placed, even though I was charged. My boyfriend went to pick up the sandwiches, but the employees said they had no such order. Because I placed the order as a guest, I could not pull up order history on the app and my bank's app does not allow screenshots for security reasons. My boyfriend told them this, but they said we'd be refunded. He ordered the same sandwiches (paid regualr price), but they didn't even know how to make them! They kept asking him what he wanted on them, and he said how they come on the menu. He just got home with our lunch and the sandwiches are completely wrong. How do these employees not know how to make sandwiches from their own menu? Ridiculous. They were also very unfriendly to my boyfriend and had an attitude like they didn't want to be working. This is the worst experience we've had at this location.
Worst subway ever with nasty service 🤮 The older looking lady who states she’s the manager but can’t seem to make anything right cannot communicate in English and instead laughs and she seems off she was constantly on her phone with gloves while bagging sandwiches . She over sauced my sandwich when I told her light twice . I told her I didn’t want it that way and if she could remake it . She kept giving these ugly looks and talking info Spanish and probably smack . Very unprofessional. Service .
No longer carrying honey-oat bread. Almost always out of iced tea. On my most recent visit I went in at 8:30pm, 30 minutes before close, and the iced tea station was cleaned and put completely away. I don't expect much customer service at a subway, but still I'm always disappointed in the service at this one. The employees are not polite and don't care about anything but getting out of there. I'm done with this place.
I am so disappointed with a young worker. She was so rude and displaying a real anger to the customers. Please remove her from this place. Your business would increase by alot. It seemes that she acts like she has a mental condition. I was talking to two Ojai police officers eating and they have said they have tried to get in contact with the owner but is always told he has no number. Even the poor manager has dealt with this so much she looks like she is going to cry while she berates the customer. Please do something or risk signs being posted in front of the store letting people know what they are in for.
