Our ToGo order was excellent, on time and delicious!
Got the 2 for $42. We had 2 potato cheese soups, 2 turkey croissant sandwiches with avocado, 1 side of fruit and 1 side of tater tots. It came with 2 slices of pie. We chose the french apple and pumpkin. Everything was so delicious we made 3 meals out of it. Try it, you'll love it!
So relaxing feels like coming home. Foods great filling and tasty. They brought large piece of corn bread on the the house, so amazing warm just enough sweet. Pies have always been the best since I was little. Its a vibe absolutely!
I used to enjoy going to Marie Callender's but at some point I thought they had gotten much more costly which made it hard for the whole family too have dinner at a reasonable price. This visit was a great surprise. Maybe it was covid related but the men you had been changed and there were tons of great deals on comfort food. The food was great as well as a service and we definitely plan on going back soon to continue exploring their menu. I'm really glad we stopped by.
So glad to find an open location. A childhood favorite for 30!years. Service is slow at the best of times. So come with your loved ones and enjoin and enjoy each other as you wait for Marie classical goodness. The lazy boy of comfort food places. Well worth it
It's been awhile since I've been to Marie Callender's because they got rid of the one near my house. We came here for late lunch early dinner. The chicken pot pie was just as amazing as I remember. Our waitress was attentive to our needs and warm and welcoming to us. We sat near the bar area and it was a quiet and cozy meal. Should I want to come to Marie Callender's again I will visit this establishment.
My children and grandchildren asked where I wanted to have my mother's day dinner and I said Marie Calendar's. First reason I picked this location is for the food ...The food is excellent, and so was the price. 2nd reason and equally important was the service. The service was excellent The last reason was the location; we traveled from opposite directions and this was in the middle. We could have dined at any upscale restaurant of my choice, but truth is I really like going to Marie Calendar's. My family was very pleased with the food and desert; which made me extremely happy I picked Marie Calendar's.
Went to get pies on Thanksgiving day!! The lines were so well organized.it was impressive because you can imagine how the lines were out the door wrapped around the building. Service was great despite how stressed they were!! But I had no idea that pies used to cost $8.99 and now is $21.00 per pie a d change. That is astronomical so I will have to go to Polly"s pies from now on fo $16,49 or find a different dessert. 3.5 million of us los our jobs and many of us didn't find a job after Covid-19 with the same salary. In fact we are getting paid less and it's bad enough we pay insane fees for gas and groceries. On Thanksgiving to pay these prices just for the same pie we always bought in the past. Very very sad!!!
My family & I had a going-away breakfast for me here. The staff was wonderful and we had a good time. The food was great - I ended up taking half of mine home we were too busy having fun and catching up. Great place to socialize. Not very busy. I forgot to get a slice of pie :(
The outdoor patio setting was cozy & nice. I ate the Mini Shepard's pie deal. Came with a ceasar salad & slice of pie!! Perfect amount of food to fill me up without feeling like my stomach was going to burst! Service was great too!
If you don't like pie, we cant be friends. Though I haven't eaten here in quite some time, I frequently partake in their frozen meals. That being said, the pies here are fanbloodytastic. There is only one logical choice for what flavor to choose, German chocolate, full stop, the end, thanks for playing. Truth be told, all the pies are great. My wife got a custard pie to go along with my German chocolate, and it was really good. The kahlua cream cheese, banana cream, double cream blueberry and double cream lemon are all some of my favorites. When pie month happens, my belt and pants cry out with the power of 1,000 suns. Pants be dammed, I will not be denied.
My wife and I had a dinner date and were impressed with their new seasonal menu. We enjoyed the happy hour drinks and appetizer specials along with a great seasonal pot roast dinner and the tasty cream cheese pumpkin pie dessert.
Marie Callender's always buys quality produce which is why their salad bar is always excellent. The Potato Cheese soup is very good and very hot too. Service was friendly and attentive. This location is one of our favorites.
I haven't been to a Marie calendars in forever. And this one is really quaint inside. Their meatloaf sandwich was so good. And their Cobb salad was good. I forgot how much I really loved their corn bread. And of course always get the banana cream pie. I've missed this place since they closed the one in corona . Maybe they can bring one to Eastvale ??? 100% suggest the orange location. This one is great !
They have stepped it up it’s not the Marie Calendar’s when I grew up as kids. From the service to the food it went great and kids eat free on Saturday. The waitress was excellent and old school by during every from memory. Would absolutely take our son and the in-laws back to Marie’s.
Had the special room for our group of 10. Good food and quiet enough to chat and catch up.
Went here last night around 830pm (30 minutes before closing) and ordered 2 entrees and a slice a pie. Server was attentive and friendly. Food came out quick, hot, and was delicious. Pie was very good as well. Will definitely come here again!
Every time we’re in town, we go to Marie calendars. The value is terrific a lot of times my husband and I get the two for 45. You get like super salad, etc. an entrée and a piece of pie. We never eat at all so it’s nice to have leftovers, both Sue and Elaine are terrific at what they do. They are always on the go so friendly and the service is great. Of course the food is good. The salads the potato cheese soup any type of hamburger. I highly recommend. I usually get the ultimate margarita excellent. Good for kids also maybe not in the bar area
P just went for pie with family we had dinner previously had a great time that day and felt like some razzleberry pie ala mode
Picked up 3 pies for Thanksgiving. Great taste as always.
I haven't visited a Marie Calendar restaurant since I moved to Canada 2 decades ago. I returned solely for their strawberry pie. The receptionist said they didn't have any and upon seeing my puzzled look, she immediately said strawberry is not in season. I picked a cherry pie as substitute. The price was less than I had expected after being somewhat shocked by the price level in the LA area these days. The pie is delicious and brought up many good memories.
When we go into this place, we are now are going to ask to sit in Cindy's section. She is the BEST server ever! She has a welcoming smile, friendly & wonderful customer service overall! Also, who can resist eating their pies.....they are the best! All You Can Eat Salad Bar is Back!
The Orange location bartender and management work really hard to provide good food and service. I patron MC for lunch, dinner, holiday feasts and pies all year long. Despite inconsistencies, they still make the best pie available from any local restaurant. I no longer buy Turkey feasts. I don’t know how MC finds the smallest, skinniest birds in the world and calls them 10 lbs. but I will buy elsewhere for the holidays.
WOW! Great service, Yummy food, nice pleasant Surprise Marie's is back with tasty food. Shocked by the size of the Mai Tai for 8.99 came on a Friday night so I am not sure if it was HH priced but don't hesitate to try.
My family and I have been going here often and always have great experiences. We really enjoy the food and the genuine customer service. Last week, my daughter left her “Baby Oink Oink” at the restaurant and we didn’t notice until bed time. The store had closed but I decided to drive over and press my luck. The staff was still there and were very helpful and saved our night from being sleepless. Thank you MC Staff!
We don't get to eat out often, but I took my partner here after a trip to the hospital. It really helped him feel better after the ordeal. We took a lemon meringue pie home and enjoyed it over a couple days. Thanks for the wonderful food and the fair price! I definitely want to come back!
Stopped by Marie Callender’s last night on the way home from Catalina. They closed the one near us in the San Fernando Valley, so I haven’t had my favorite strawberry pie for my birthday in a couple of years. While we waited for traffic to die down, we enjoyed a couple slices—lemon meringue and chocolate cream. Both were delicious! I also brought home a fresh strawberry pie to enjoy this week for my birthday. Eileen was our server, and she was lovely—friendly and gave excellent service.
I definitely have been looking for a Marie Callender's location that has soup and salad bar🥬🥗🥧🍜. Another location that I live near doesn't have it every day but this location does just make sure to get there before 8:00 p.m. because the salad bar starts to get cleaned up at that time. I made myself a large chicken salad it was good. They have spring salad mix and they have romaine salad they have about five dressings some fruits and pasta and sides and three selections of soup. Our waitress was good she was a little busy for Thursday night. The rest of our party enjoyed their plates as well but they had the shrimp and steak plate, the meatloaf dinner the vegetable soup and beef stroganoff 🤤 yummy I haven't had their banana cream pie in ages and look forward to having it. The atmosphere was slightly dim and many conversations going on. I had a more so relaxing time but would love to check out the outdoor patio soon! Don't forget the cornbread they give a large portion a nice size to share!
Good food and service!! I purchased the breakfast of sausage and cheese omelette! Wheat toast and everything was delicious!! Leave a tip, don’t be cheap. The service was excellent
12/31/2024 Stopped in here tonight shortly before closing! "Happy New Year's Eve!" I ordered a New York Strip Steak. And my x2 friends ordered 2 variations of a Pot Pie 🥧. We got a Spinach and Artichoke dip for an appetizer. The waitress was superb. Customer service is on point at this location. Food was delicious. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Tables were clean and prepped. Will surely return! Definitely a 5-star rating! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you Marie Calendars! Thank you ConAgra Foods! - Michael Montoya
Great great food !! What a great place to congregate and have just coffee and dessert. I currently went to my friend's bridal shower there and it was perfect it was off to the side nice and quiet. The banquet rooms have enough room that you don't feel that you're part of the restaurant and you feel like you are in your own private restaurant. I highly recommend Marie Callender's and this location the service was incredible, we had Robert as our server
I had not been to a Marie Callenders in a long time. But, I was excited to get the pot pie and it was delicious. Everyone was nice. Kid friendly. The football game was on.
The staff was friendly, courteous, and professional. The dining area was exceptionally clean. We were seated quickly, and the server had some great suggestions. We both had the French dip sandwich with French fries, and it was outstanding! Oh, I almost forgot, the fresh cornbread was amazing. I couldn't leave without taking home a lemon meringue pie.
Greeted by friendly hostess with a big SMILE! Waitress was equally WARM, ATTENTIVE, and did NOT have to ask for anything (napkin, refill, etc.)! I enjoyed the salad & soup combo which was DELISH! I took home a lemon meringue pie to share with family and neighbors. I’m so glad I did. The pie crust was buttery and flakey, lemon curd was fresh and perfectly tart to balance the whipped, airy/foamy meringue 💯👩🏻🍳 💋!
I picked up "Thanksgiving Dinner" pretty early morning on Thanksgiving Day. People made Three Lines there. It was the First Time to visit there so I had no information about those Lines. One Customer was very kind, He explained about three lines, so I just waited in front of a big Trailer Storage with comfort. However, the Same Kind Custmer told me that I had to check in for picking up. I really appreciated the person. From next year, if I have a chance, Definitely I will do just like Him. And also, the Staffs are very Nice & Friendly. This experience was really good to me.
Food was delicious and perfect 2nd visit I felt like the pue crust tasted differently Potatoe soup was too watery
It's the last good thing about MC. Best pies!
I was so happy to get dinner on Thanksgiving day! I work in the hospitality on holidays and don't have many options other than fast food so this was a great option. The turkey dinners are all pretty portioned with sliced turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, fresh cut green beans, a little cranberry sauce and corn bread. Its actually really convenient! If you don't have anywhere to go for Christmas, you should definitely check out Marie Callender's! The food was pretty good and the service was exceptional as well!
Nice layout and table & booth settings. Hearty food, good service and great servers. Even if you are having a bad morning the staff can brighten your day. Super busy Thanksgiving day, long pie line and take out orders. Portion size a little small for turkey day but still had leftovers for what they charged. Small scoop of tasty yams. Stuffing better. Gravy smooth but not served with the ham alternative. Apple pie cold and could have a scoop of vanilla ice cream or for us NEnglenders a slice of cheddar.
We were lucky to get a seat in no time, food was very good, I ate of everything...even the green beans and believe me it is not my favorite veggie. But our server was beyond ready to go home: impatient from the very beginning. Brought our drinks but never a refill my partner asked for, also wanted a napkin and had to petition for it 3 times. I left a normal tip but he could get a good tip because was Thanksgiving but after the service and for ignoring our request truly didn't want to encourage that behavior. It was a name on the receipt but I doubt was HIS name.
Dated decor but consistent quality, no surprises. Solid predictable food and experience.
Although it's a chain, this location has much to recommend it. The salad bar was fresh and well-maintained and the healthy choice chicken tacos were excellent (huge and tasty). The service was cheerful and efficient, and very patient even though lunching ladies are notorious for overstaying their time. We were not hurried and the server was smiling till the end. (We did leave a big tip -- she deserved it.)
We were starving, so the cornbread brought to the table at the beginning of our service was a welcome filler until dinner arrived The mini chicken pot pie was very good. The crust was done well and was flaky and delicious. The filling was also delicious, but certainly could have had more chicken and vegetables -- it was predominantly white sauce. The Caesar salad was small, but was of the right size. The lettuce was crispy and the parmesan delicious. The lemon meringue pie was very good. The crust was a little undercooked for my taste but the filling was tart and sweet and had great flavor.
We went there to pick up some pies but also had breakfast. We were the first in and asked for a quiet seat. The hostess then proceeded to fill in the booths next to us with other people. We had to get up and move to another spot that looked like it would not get filled for a while. However, the hostess within 20 minutes decided to put somebody next to us despite the place being nearly vacant. She was polite when we left. I don't think she did this on purpose.
We stopped going a few years ago. We decided to give it a try again. The food was really good, and the service was excellent. The potato cheese soup is still amazing. Will be going back soon.
Service was average, but the restaurant is nice although the place was not very busy @ 5pm today.
Nostalgia is the key. I grew up with Marie Callender's a couple blocks away and now there is only one within reasonable driving distance. Thankfully this is in between my house and my parent's which is perfect for picking up a fresh fruit pie. To die for! The food faire as far as I remember was always a traditional comfort food that hit the spot. The only reason why the 1 star removal is that while it is nostalgic, the decor seems a bit run down and stuck in the mid to late 90's. Outside of that, the service, pies and food were amazing awesome and everything I've known and loved about it since my youth. This is probably the closest you can come to Southern California's version of a country kitchen.
This Marie Calenders location is a very good Restaurant and the Food is usually Good as well as the Service here. A clean and very pleasant atmosphere also.
We ate here before the Ducks game around 5:00pm. Not busy. Nice server. I had the meat loaf and my wife had the beef stroganoff. She said it was okay. I liked the meat loaf.
Honestly, what's not to love about Marie Calendar's? Good food, nothing crazy fancy, but good, classic, American food. The salad bar is still a great option too. The service has been great every time I've been here over the years. The pies to go are always a go-to for holidays and very easy online or in-person ordering and pickup.
Pies and salad bar were a hit! Once a nationwide chain, this outpost is located in a shopping plaza off Katella. There is plenty of parking. Once you walk in, you are greeted by the hostess and then you can see a wide assortment of pies. The restaurant is split between the bar side and the dining side which also has a meeting room for groups. Highly recommend the salad bar which includes a wide variety of salad, fruit and soups. There is also a kids eat free special on Tuesdays and Saturdays with purchase of regular adult entree. They have a special that includes a soup or salad, an entree and a dessert. That doesn't qualify for the kids eat free. Their bread is very tasty and the service was very responsive. Don't forget to save room for dessert!
The cornbread with honey butter and the razzleberry pie brought us here tonight. I'm visiting from Texas and this is one of my favorite chains that I don't have there. (We got the pie to go & I forgot to take a photo prior to devouring it.) I enjoyed the potato cheddar soup with house salad and quiche. My sister liked her salmon and our friend thought the Frisco Melt was good but would have been better without the lettuce. Note that the menu lists vegetarian options and specialties but does not identify dishes that do not contain gluten.
It had been years since I was last in a Marie Callender's. And it will probably be many more before I go back. I ordered the small chicken pot pie. It had very little flavor and 4 very small pieces chicken. The corn bread also had no flavor. I couldn't taste the corn meal. And where is the honey in the honey butter? The company has to be wondering why they are having to close stores. The answer is real easy, they keeping cutting quality to save money. They just don't get it. Lowering quality is why they are going out of business.
I've picked up pies from this location twice and both times had issues. The first time they gave us the wrong pie (and we couldn't tell until we got home and cut into it). The second time we got there to pick it up 30 minutes after it was supposed to be ready and they said, "oh, ok we'll go get it ready." Very disappointing because the pies are delicious but the service is so frustrating.
Husbands Salmon was warm, not Hot. Waitress didn't offer second s on water or ice tea. Had to ask for check after waiting for a long time. We arrived at 4:40 wasn't busy.
The system was not working. It was not easy to order online so I had to call that wasn't so easy either. But after transfer, my water was taken very nicely, the food was ready. Prompt, but I must say I was disappointed. The pot pie was not as good as it used to be and muffin was somewhat stale. All I wanted was some yummy comfort food. I
Food was tired. Same dishes from 20 years ago. I had roast beef which was tough, chewy. My partner had beef & chicken stirfry which was dry. Had to ask for some sauce to cure the lack of flavor. Key lime pie was desert. It was lacking flavor & Tangiers. Partner had blueberry dream which was delicious. Waiter was spot-on! Knowledgeable, attentive, helpful! Interior was a bit run down, in need of face-lift & updating. Rest of crew appeared tired & bored.
There's a reason why I hadn't visited a Marie Callender's in at least a decade prior to this visit and I was promptly reminded why. The food is very mediocre and with today's high prices all around, definitely not worth it. I am not a pie connisuer but if I were my advice to anyone considering a visit here... stick to the pie.
First of all I would like to say that their Chili is pretty decent not great but okay and their pot pie that my parents tried they said it was okay but watery. The reason why I think the child is okay is because I felt like there should have been more beans and no tomatoes. The chili could have also used sour cream instead of Pico de gallo because I'm not of fan of Pico de Gallo. I also think they should and more food to their menu especially more pasta dishes and savory breakfast dishes. For the food quality I think this place sort of lack consistency like most restaurants that don't do well in the end . I think they should monitor and make sure the food quality is decent and if not for it to be perfected. Lastly the lady who served us food was nice and very patient. It would be nice if they could provide public wifi for the guests too. Overall the food we got was okay but needs room for improvement as for the the service it was great in my opinion.
My first time giving this chain a try. Overall the food was ok. The menu is definitely focused on American home comfort food and while the flavor is there, everything was very salty in my opinion. The service was very quick and nice so I did appreciate that aspect. I don’t think I’d jump at the opportunity to come back but all in all not too bad.
I was only there for "pie take-out"... The line had approx. 12 guests. (Kept growing longer) When it was my turn, I ordered 2 pies. 5 star for the Double Cream Lemon. 1 star for the Banana Cream. I reached out to Marie Callender's by email after TWO Days of no one answering their phone. (NEVER received a reply back.).. The Banana cream was great, the crust was perfect, BUT "Where were the bananas?!" First two pie slices had zero bananas and the next two had a TINY slivers in each. I live in Northern California, and I was visiting Orange County. For the price of pie, this isn't acceptable. Tonya Schroll
I used to love Marie Callender‘s here but since the pandemic and especially the last month or two things are not the same. The quality of their product has gone down. I ordered vegetable soup and a croissant Turkey bacon avocado sandwich. The vegetable soup was terrible. All it had in it literally was big hunks of celery peas everywhere one carrot one tiny piece of zucchini and onions and one little piece of tomato. I couldn’t believe it. The sandwich looks like and I’ve ordered it numerous times that they’ve gotten smaller croissants from somewhere there were three little pieces of turkey one tomato sliced cut in half it was in a container and they didn’t put toothpicks in it to hold it together so it didn’t come apart in the container and it was all apart in the container. you’re talking with Delivery and their fees and they’ve upped their prices at Marie’s it was $31!! Guess what never again. Sorry Marie but things have changed and I wish you’d go back to the way you were. If you’re going to up the charges you better give quality Again.
I wait all year for ollaliberry pie. Usually a window of one or two weeks. Called TWICE to confirm availability (different person each time), then drive 10 miles to get one. Turned out to be a blackberry pie instead, which I declined to buy. Very unhappy.
I get disappointed when I order my favorite breakfast. I thought they were going to serve it the way they normally serve it at other locations in the same franchise but they only brought me plain oatmeal, no sugar, banana, raisins, nothing, just the oatmeal. I don't think I'll go back to this place.
The service was horrible. Our waitress brought our drinks and took our orders then we didn't see her again until she brought our check. We had asked for ice, drink refills and napkins. They didn't come. Two other ladies finally brought our food. We had to ask for those items again. Then they were brought to us but not by our waitress. Finally after wsiting almost 1/2 an hour after we finished eating, I had to go ask for boxes and our bill. I mentioned that we hadn't seen our waitress since she took our order and was told she was very busy. The place was practically empty. About 10 minutes later she came with boxes and our bill. And the restroom was atrocious. Wet floors, toilet paper all over and it smelled like urine. Don't think I'll be going there again. And I thought the table was supposed to get cornbread. We didn't.
First time giving this place a try, but I don't think I'll come back for their signature pies. It was pretty quiet and empty when we visited on Sunday. The presentations of the pies looked very appetizing, but the ones given to us from the back kitchen were not appealing at all. We assumed that since we ordered the pies from the front counter, the waitress would serve us the fresh pies. We ordered a banana, pecan, and chocolate pie (all slices). The chocolate pie tasted bland and just looked like a slab of pudding with whipped cream. My nephew loves eating chocolate. He took one bite, and we had to throw it away. The banana and pecan pie lacked flavors. We asked the waitress if we could eat the pies at the table, and she agreed, yet she still served us to go containers in a brown bag. As first-time customers spending $35 on three slices of pies, we deserve better service. It wasn't extremely busy, so there's no reason to rush us out of the restaurant when they were still open for another two hours. Needless to say, we will not return.
Hi, I bought a chicken pot pie last night as takeout. Not good. I remember the chicken pot pie with thick crust bowl and thick chicken soup. What I got was a water down soup and a thin crust on top. I also got a slice of pumpkin pie, which was ok. I spent $26.00, so not worth it. I won't be gong back again. Used to be top 5 restaurants i loved going too! After thinking about it, I called and spoke to a manager. She was no help. What they claim is a chicken pot pie is not a chicken pot pie. Their version is a bowl of water down soup and a thin pastry crust on top. Years ago, it was top and bottom flaky pie crust with thick chicken stew inside. Think a pie with chicken stew filling. Ok, i am done venting. Ps, apparently Sams Club sells this, so thats where I am going to buy it.
First of all how do you put a pot pie in a small round plastic container??? For $14 bucks it was the worst meal I ever had. It was saturated with liquid that looked like milk. Hardly any crust. The lemon pie taste like it was refrigerated and old. This place is a RIP off. They need to close down if that's the best they can do. I wonder what's really in that kitchen. By the way I ordered and took the food to go. I should have looked at it before leaving. It didn't even look good. Trash!!!!
This was a very good restaurant at one time. My wife and I ate there last week and was disappointed. I believe the staff did their best but needed more help. The men's room was a mess, no paper towels or soap. Oddly there was a customer sitting at the bar who was going to others table to see if they needed anything. She acted as if she worked there. Took quite a while to get food. hopefully when they are better staffed it will get better. For now, won't be going back.
General manager is so rude and does not care about customer service. He said he was just promoted to this position but I don't understand how management can treat customers this way Tried telling him about my experience at this location he did not care to hear it. It was my first time trying Marie Calenders and my experience was not what I was expecting.
My local Marie Callender's recently closed. This location is now the closest to my house. Unfortunately, I'll never go back. Been eating at these restaurants for years and this was the single worse experience ever. I would say awful customer service but that would indicate that there was some level of service. Other than ordering and receiving the order there was no service without us stopping any employee for help. We even paid the bill at the take out register because we waited 20 minutes just to pay our server and then gave up. The food was almost as bad as the service. Very poor quality. Can't imagine this location staying open much longer.
My husband and I waited approximately 15 minutes for a waitress to come and take our order. We were seated in the bar area in which all tables were empty. Two waitress saw us sitting there and totally ignored us. My husband and I will never come back again. . I guess my money was not good enough.
We always enjoy the 2 - for 1 Wednesdays at Marie Calendars. However, today my wife ordered the Salad Bar, which is New at the Orange location with no advertised price. We got the bill and was totally surprised they charged $16.99 for the skimpy Salad Bar. The only thing special was Soup included. Unbelievable for a basic salad with limited fixings. Total Rip-Off.
I placed an order on Thursday 10/03 at 3:50pm to pick up a Razzleberry pie & Double Cream Lemon pie on 10/06 at 1pm. When I arrived they stated they were sold out of Razzleberry even though I ordered days in advance. They were unwilling to give me any kind of discount only to replace it with another pie. Of course I opted for pumpkin, but they were sold out of that as well.
I bought a couple pies and they were bad. They would not exchange them
Stopped by the other night to get a pumpkin pie and to purchase a slice of pumpkin pie with some coffee. Well, they have no pumpkin pie. And they informed us that if we come back to get a piece of pumpkin pie they’re not going to sell it by the slice any longer. Our waiter was very kind and helpful but his coworkers sat at an empty table and played on their phones as they coached him on what the new status of pumpkin pies was. We have always gone there to get a piece of pumpkin pie and a cup of coffee. We always take a whole pie with us. Unfortunately, it was not a good day at Marie Callender‘s. 😟
Bought a pumpkin pie 2 weeks ago from Orange. It was improperly baked and found foreign material inside. I returned it to ther company restaurant in Riverside. They generally have the best pies. However, I do not recommend the Orange restaurant to anyone.
I came in with a school tour. A party of 10. We were excited for pot pies. We needed separate checks because we’re all on different school tour budgets. The management staff refused to give us separate checks, snapped at our tour director and were extremely disrespectful to all of us. So we left. Seems like a small effort for what could’ve been well over $250 for the restaurant plus a nice tip for the server. You guys are lame. Figure it out. Bad business. Go to Norms.
I went to get a pie and Marissa O put her bare hands on my pie on 2 occasions. This was very unsanitary and she had no gloves on. Please do not order pie from here. Also it is highly disgusting that they are not required to wear gloves when handling pies.
Roast with mashed potatoes. Meat tough. Potatoes no taste. Lots of gravy. Carrots old . Squash and peas were good.
Terrible Thanksgiving Experience I had one of the worst customer service experiences at Marie Callender’s this Thanksgiving. I placed my order online days in advance, expecting a smooth pickup. Instead, I ended up standing in an extremely long line and STILL had to wait an additional hour after my scheduled pickup time. The staff was disorganized and surprisingly disrespectful given the situation. No communication, no apologies, and no sense of urgency despite the huge crowd. If this is how they handle holiday orders, I won’t be returning. Very disappointing.
Absolutely terrible experience. No wonder Marie Callender’s locations keep shutting down. Never again. I’d rather go to Coco’s or Hof’s Hut—at least they’re fresh, organized, and actually have their act together. If you’re thinking about getting holiday pies, don’t. The wait is ridiculous, and there’s no reason customers should be standing in line forever just to pick up something that should already be ready and has been paid for. Most restaurants let you walk in, get your food, and go. Not here. Total disappointment. #EpicFail
