We love this restaurant and have been coming here for years. Fantastic chicken koobideh and mast Moosir perfection!! Great service from Laila as well!
We had our son’s wedding dinner at Darya. Service was top notch, generous on delicious food , and professional friendly staff . Ambiance was amazing. They make you feel as if you’re having a party at home . I will definitely recommend Darya in Tustin to my family and friends for meals and parties.
We host our holiday dinner here every year, and it’s always wonderful! The service is excellent, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is perfect for celebrating. My friend also had her engagement party at their banquet room and it was beautiful! Highly recommended!
We had an amazing dining experience! The food was delicious, but what really stood out was the exceptional service. Both Farnaz and Liu took such great care of us — they were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. Their professionalism and kindness made the evening truly special. Highly recommend this place!
Wow. The reviews are true! This place is a treasure! We came for my Aunts birthday and they made us feel extremely welcome. The food was also amazing. And very affordable for such a nice place! We had a large party but they were very patient with us and very gracious. Can not recommend highly enough! And please try the REAL cheesecake! As well as the Persian Ice cream. Nothing like it. Enjoy!
We, the members of the Urdu Writers Society of North America, recently hosted a special dinner in honor of the Ambassador of Pakistan at Darya Restaurant in the City of Orange—and what a delightful experience it was! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the elegant ambiance of the restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfectly suited for a prestigious gathering. The management was incredibly accommodating and cooperative, ensuring that every detail of our evening went smoothly. The food was exceptional—delicious, flavorful, and generously served, more than enough to satisfy all our guests. Each dish reflected the care and quality that Darya is known for. What truly elevated the evening was the outstanding service. A special note of appreciation goes to Manager Panta and especially waitress Leila, whose constant smiles and helpful attitude made everyone feel truly cared for. Their professionalism and warmth did not go unnoticed and were deeply appreciated by all attendees. We highly recommend Darya Restaurant to anyone looking for a venue with top-notch service, great food, and an unforgettable ambiance. It was a perfect choice for our memorable evening.
My first time trying Persian food and it was delicious! Little taste of many things before our meal came. My chicken shish kebab was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. The chicken marinade with white breast meat and it was so moist and juicy with a beautiful bed of rice. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. I wish I would have taken more pictures. I highly suggest you try it. You won’t be disappointed! 😊
The best Persian restaurant. My friend Majid brought me here for lunch. From the moment you step through the door, the warm and inviting atmosphere sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The restaurant's decor is a tasteful blend of traditional Persian elements and modern elegance. The service at Darya is commendable. The staff who are attentive and knowledgeable, guided me through the menu. They are quick to offer recommendations and ensure that all dietary preferences and restrictions are accommodated. Darya Persian Restaurant offers a delightful journey into the heart of Persian cuisine. With its inviting ambiance, exceptional service, and mouthwatering dishes, it stands out as a top choice for anyone looking to explore the rich culinary heritage of Persia. Whether you are a seasoned lover of Persian food or a curious newcomer, Darya promises an experience that will leave you longing for more.
if you’re looking for a getaway dinner this weekend, check out Darya Restaurant in Orange. Enjoy their fine Persian cuisine outdoor in a beautiful patio. Their interior is also nice too. Can’t wait until indoor dining is allowed. 🍢 let’s talk about their food. I am in love with all of their proteins. Steak 🥩 was juicy and tender. Salmon 🐠 (my fav) was flavorful and perfectly cooked. Chicken 🍗 was tender. Everything was superbly yummy 🤤. 🍨 dessert!! You must try their Persian Ice Cream. It’s creamy, filled with chunks of pistachio 🌰 and has a nice fragrance to it. We also tried the baklava & cheesecake. Omg by that time, food coma is definitely hitting us 😴.
The place is pretty good. Food is decent. However, the service has a lot to desire. No front desk. Nobody brings you a menu or even entertain you until you ask multiple times.
All meat is halal this is great, I wish they didn't serve any alcohol as well. I can say all kababs are average. They only use beef, no lamb. Normally these kababs would be at their peak if they used lamb traditionally. Salmon is good but ordinary. Vegetarian appetizers are not something to be excited for. Safran ice cream was interesting and I loved id. Definitely a must try.
First time visiting this darya location as we have been to the one near south coast plaza many times over the year. Inside has the same decor and the menu is also the same. We went there on Saturday for lunch at 1 and the place was 80% empty. I got their salmon dish and substitute the rice with the darya salad. What was weird was that the darya salad had kidney beans in it…not cool daddio…the combination of dates and walnuts and feta and raisins with lentils make sense and goes well, but what the hellmis kidney beans. Over all the food was good and plenty. I was only able to eat half my salmon. The fresh baked bread is also great.
I gave a try to this place as I was very disappointed and dissatisfied of the service I was receiving at my favorite place ( almost 18 years) as I wasn’t getting good customer service and Darya’s personal were very polite and professional, the food was well made and it was served a little bit late but it was of very good texture and flavor. I have been in almost all Persian restaurants in Orange County and this place is well recommended. Only thing I noticed is the difference on prices, their prices are a little bit higher than other restaurants and their combos are about $10 higher than competitors but the plates I got worth to try them. I am taking one star off because there bathroom wasn’t very clean. And I don’t want to mention what I found on the bathroom’s floor after I went there before leaving, I know they have no control over what customers do but they need to keep an eye on the premises for customers safety and satisfaction.
Bad experience. Bad overpriced food. Tried the place based on a friend’s input but totally disappointed. Except lentils soup. Nothing else was good. Had to throw away that scrapped rice appetizer. More than food, it’s the service that spoiled the deal for us.
Too expensive. For the chicken barg with no salad I paid around $37. If the net price was $29, it would be more reasonable compared to other Southern California Persian Restaurants. The owner needs to consider the price 37 dollars includes a can of Pepsi and tip. Still is too much. Next time If I want to pay this much I go to better restaurants such as Raffi that not only the quality is by far higher but also the portion is larger.
