Paul's Place Orange Reviews
Good food. Good portions. Prices are in line with other restaurants ( but I think portions are larger). 50’s music playing. Nice atmosphere.
Our 1st time visiting here. Their menu, food and atmosphere were great! Will be back!
We will miss you Pauls place. We moved to Az came back for a few days and had to eat at pauls one last time. The quality of the food and service is second to none.
This was mine and my husbands first time here. I had the fish and chips and he had a patty melt. It was so much food. And yummy. My brother had the french toast which was my favorite part.
Great place on all levels. Food is always fresh and delicious. Clean environment. Employees make this place a charm to visit. Lots of comfy seats, with privacy glass in between booths. Outdoor seating available. I love how they decorate for each holiday. Love the oldies music playing in the background. Will continue to eat here until forever.
Paul’s Place is a local favorite! The food is fresh and tasty, portions are generous, and the staff is always friendly. A go-to spot for a great meal at a good price.
Paul’s Place in Orange is one of those laid-back spots that always hits the mark when you’re craving comfort food. The vibe is super chill, like a classic diner but with a modern twist, and the menu is way more versatile than you’d expect. Sure, they’ve got all the diner staples—burgers, sandwiches, all-day breakfast—but they also mix in some solid Mexican and Greek-inspired options that keep things interesting. My go-to? It’s a toss-up between the Philly cheesesteak and the pastrami sandwich. The Philly is loaded with tender, flavorful steak, melted cheese, and grilled onions—all packed into a soft, toasted roll that holds everything together perfectly. The pastrami is just as satisfying—juicy, seasoned well, and piled high, exactly how a good pastrami sandwich should be. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the staff is always friendly without being over-the-top. It’s the kind of place you can grab a quick bite solo or sit and catch up with friends without feeling rushed. Whether you’re in the mood for classic comfort or something with a little twist, Paul’s Place delivers. It’s become a regular stop for me—and once you try it, you’ll see why.
Food is good if they get your order right and I’ve had my order right 2 times in six months so this is a hit and miss kinda of spot . I order everything to make my own breakfast burrito every thing was ok but when I ask for a four tortilla they got mad I guess and gave me this tortilla sliced like a pizza the vegetables had so much grease I could fry a chicken so was the hash browns I could just go get a can of old lard it’s good tho I honestly don’t get the favor with the tortillas but it’s really passive aggressive of them oh and they charge a lot too really not worth the money if they don’t get it right I’ve order tortillas with my food before from here and this is a 1st so yeah it’s odd
Been going to this place for some years now and the food is actually good, and better prepared than most fast food places. I love their music selection because it gives the place an atmosphere of what a diner was like during the 50’s-60’s, though the interior appearance it’s a more modern look. The service is adequate.
This location has had a lot diners that closed down over the past 10 years. But now I have a feeling that it might not happen anymore, Paul's is a great diner with a lot of different comfort food, I personally like their chili cheese dog. You must try this area, it's good for all age groups.
Paul's Place by train tracks in City of Orange is the go2 1950's style diner from menu - really cool decor inside and out. Out side is extremely well maintained & has sign you can't miss. Have their own parking 🅿️ lot with Handicap ♿ Parking upfront. Mexican 🌯 Burrito Chile Verde is AM preference. Philly CheeseSteak w/ super crispy fries for lunch and a few made to order Shakes that are stellar. ADA Compliance is really well done. Level navigation and many seating options. Heck of a value. Alll food has fresh ingredients and the chefs able to bring out that tastes. Burgers 🍔 r pretty good 2. Nice meetup spot. Highly Recommend 🤙
Nice place for a variety of food choices. They serve Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I ordered the Chicken gyro plate, although I wish I got the lamb. Order and pickup at the counter, serve yourself soft drinks. Inside and outside eating area. Clean tables with condiments already there. No pressure to eat and leave your table for someone to sit. Plenty of seating. My friend showed me how to crochet while sitting there.
I got breakfast here after my shift, steak with eggs. It was pretty good although they didn't make the steak well done as I asked. It was cooked but there was still pinkness in the middle of the steak. You can get also free refills here too.
We ate breakfast: eggs, bacon, hash browns. All were good, but pretty generic hash browns. A little seasoning would be nice. The staff were very friendly. Prices, like everywhere else, are a little high. I will continue to go there as the food is pretty good for fast food and the portions are decent 👍🏼
Pleasant dining area. Feels like a hometown diner. Walkup counter service. Clean dining area. A rather large outside dining area. Food was ok. Large serving sizes and presentation was great. Club sandwich was ok. Missing avocado. Some fries tasted undercooked. Kids meal comes with the typical sides.
