Had their grilled chicken sandwich on the grilled sourdough bread...it was so good! I've had this sandwich before and it has to be one of my favorites. The service is fairly quick for made-to-order and the food is hot.

It was my first time in this place and company, and honestly I found my go to burger spot. I was greeted and the gentleman helped me decide what burger to get, and he even offered me a free drink for being a first time customer. Food was amazing. Customer service is also top tier.

This is our first time trying this restaurant and I have to say this restaurant is great the food was fresh and amazing. My kids and I had the Portobella Burger and my sister and niece had the chicen sandwich we really enjoyed it all. My only regret is that they don't have one of these in our state. We were only here visiting for a family vacation and look forward to coming back next year.

We love the habit! Great burgers with some variety from the norm. Fresh and tasty. Love the Hawaiian burger and also the tempura green beans! Don't forget the ranch. Good salads if you'd prefer a healthier option. Always clean and often a little busy because of the popularity! It's good.

Went here and tried the Super food salad. It was delicious! It had kale and garden salad mix, quinoa, diced tomatoes, cucumbers, and feta cheese. I got the dressing on the side it was a pesto vinaigrette. You can get it with or without grilled chicken. Also, ordered a side of fried green beans! These are the best side IMO that they have. I was eating rather healthy at a burger joint but did not feel like I was giving anything up because it was delicious! Prices were reasonable as the whole meal was under $14 and it was enough for 2 people or 1 really hungry person! Overall, great experience here.

Habit is my second favorite fast food hamburger... the hamburgers are grilled and are very good, but the fries and onion rings are first rate. You can order "frings" a mixture of fries and onion rings. The tropical Ice Tea is some of the best you can get anywhere.

All I will say is that since I discovered the Habit. We no longer go to In and Out. That has to tell you something. Everything on this menu is super good. Their onion rings are the best we have ever had. And their fries are hands down better than In-N-Out fries. Try the Santa Barbara style Charburger. You will not be disappointed.

The Habit is one of the best quality fast food places to eat. I have never eaten anything off the menu i didn't like (so delicious) and i have tried around 90 % percent of the menu items so far. I hope they get more popular because they deserve the recognition.

One thing about the Habit that you won't find in any other fast food restaurants is that their burger patties are super juicy. They have grilled sourdough bread as an option for their burgers and it is grilled to a perfect golden brown. All of the items I had on my Santa Barbara Double Char burger were equally tasty and complimented each other. You do have to wait a short time for the buzzer to go off when your food is ready, but it is worth the wait.

Probably one of the best (if not the best) burger chains available everywhere in the states. My only complaint is it's too popular during lunch. The onion rings are amazing, and the burgers are top notch.

The Santa Barbara Style Char is legit while the Citrus Green Tea is refreshing.

No kidding and No exaggerating that was a great burger. 😋 😋😋 I ordered the double char combo meal 😋 hey when you're hungry (Go Big or Go Home) right 😉 so anyway they char grill the burger, ohh mann it's crazy good and the fries were cooked perfectly nice and crispy and super delicious 😋 the soft drink is bottomless with free refills, I mixed up an Arnold Palmer 😋 (half iced tea half lemonade) and All for less than $20 bucks😋😋 😋 the staff is polite and friendly, service is quick and your food is cooked to order with fresh ingredients and worth the wait, The restaurant was very clean, so If you're hungry you gotta stop in they have other items like chicken sandwiches and salads also a kid's menu 😋 so something for everyone.😋😋😋 Enjoy 😊 Tell them Fred sent you. 😉😊

I really enjoyed the chicken club, and my friend devoured his char burger protein style. The onion rings were some of the best I've ever had and the serving size was perfect to share. The front counter person was delightful and courteous. This is a place I will visit again!

Habit Burger is a great place for burgers. I stopped by here the other day and bought the Char Burger combo to go and when I got to my friends house and ate it I was amazed at how great the burger and fries tasted. I had to go back again the next day and buy the same combo again and added a side of onion rings. OMG the onion rings were incredible! If I lived in Orange I would definitely be here every week. Unfortunately I was only in the area for a few days, but Habit is definitely one of my favorites and I will look for one where I live. Great customer service here as well.

Love the Habit. Food is just so tasty. Onion rings are my favorite. Wash it down with a milk shake and you’ll be very happy. Their burgers are a little on the small side, especially at that price point so get a double. Regardless, the quality is so good, it makes up for the smaller size. Sometimes the wait can be long, but if you wanted fast over quality, you’d have already gone to one of the many other fast food places in the neighborhood. Also, service is friendly and there is usually plenty of seating inside or out.

Satisfied my burger cravings. Their char burgers are some of the best, and they have a lot of different burger options. The staff were helpful in placing our order quick and having it ready in a timely manner. The prices are good for tasty burger joint. And it’s cool how they have their own lemonades which you can drink as long as you get a soft drink cup. A bonus to all this is also that they have a nice place that’s well lit and has a nice environment.

One of my best burger places. The habit is such a beautiful burger workshop. The menu is unique and their avocado burger is a must try. In the picture is a regular cheese burger that would make you wanna indulge in every flavor with every bite. It’s simply the king of fast food burger places. The Habit should be a habit for every burger lover. It’s a comfortable place next to Walmart at Orange square. The taste and experience will make you come back!

This particular Habit Grill is really nice like any other fast food shop you might find and the food itself is alright if you are aiming to to go for a smokey burger taste and the fries, personally, are good on crisp taste along with their occasional soggy fry.

It's got great burgers and sandwhiches....onion rings and fries....I used to work by one of the first, if not the first one in Goleta, CA...as they have gone full chain they are still maintaining their consistency for quality food.

The Habit Burger presents itself as the competitive classic burger joint. With it’s flavorful burger and chicken options that bring you back again and again. However, I did find myself noticing that when ordering, the combo is automatically added to the highest priced meal option. I was told that the prices were the same either way but in fact the math did show the totals did not add up. The manager tried to prove that it was the same, and ended up proving himself wrong. He stated he would contact corporate to let them know that the numbers do not add up. Though it has a difference of a emir few cents, The importance of being genuine and honest to your customers about pricing is quite important. So I put this statement up in hopes that he follows through on his actions and stays a man of his word.

Friendly staff and great food selection. Salads were super yummy and fresh, burgers and other hot foods tasted good, not great. Very expensive. Loved the selection of juices instead of just offering soda.

I just returned home with an order from Habit burger grill in Orange,,,I am missing my drink....just an oversight I'm sure, but unable to talk to anyone on the phone so I have marked my ticket with that info and when I come back next time, I will expect a drink at no charge. OK? Have no complaints on previous food or service...always enjoy both.

The place sells some pretty good food. It’s a little bit on the more pricey side so that’s why I give it 4 stars and not 5. The restaurant is pretty nice inside. And has a pretty good vibe to it. It’s close to my work so I go in the afternoon around lunch time and there it’s not very crowded.

Decent burgers, good prices. Tempura fried green beans are a wonderful side dish to go with if you are trying to keep fries off your diet. Burgers are moist and filling. A touch on the bland side for me but not bad. I generally get the teriyaki burger, but dont really taste much teriyaki in it. They do have lettuce wrap options which are great for low carb options. Be sure to grab some napkins as the burgers can get a bit messy. The ginger peach necture is a tasty drink option. Overall, alright burger place for fresh juicy burgers, but a touch on the bland or salty side. Tempura green beans are awesome.

Corporate: I would give a solid 5 of you hadn't taken the "Super Food" salad off the menu. Best salad at any restaurant I've ever tasted. Why would you take this away? Good customer service is not enough to keep a customer. Please, reevaluate your business plan.

Great burger spot. The food is always consistent and on point, vegetables are fresh and cruchy. The condiment station has fresh peppers, and plenty of other sauces you may want on your burger. The staff is always friendly and very helpful.

I give them a 3stars only because I have to go back to the store and ask them. To give me the ranch that I order on my bbq chicken salad it says on the receipt. SUB RANCH but the packer Who preps the food dosnt double check to see if everything is their. Il change it to a 5 star once they get it right the first time

Got the original char burger & teriyaki burger nuggets all w/fries & drink + cesar salad $30. The burger didn't taste like charbroiled they were both soggy just like alot of water .. frys were good, salad was ok, nuggets were good, clean place, fast friendly service, self seat. Also kids menu is only for 10 yrs or younger, very odd ..

The person who wS to be taking orders was fussing around with trays while there was one person standing at the register waiting to place an order,, another 2 other people waiting and 3ore behind me. When finally received order, forgot water and them made my shake. Food was Luke warm and onion rings were not even warm. Very slow. Also when I was eating inside 3 tables emptied and no one came out to while them down. 2 different orders and people approached the tables and walked away Guess why

The Tri-tip was a little off this visit. We were there as soon as it opened; fifth or sixth customer. Lol, the guy calling out the orders seemed a little flustered...not my best visit but in general this place is pretty good. Ps: our table was a little crummy too 🤣

It's interesting that when I order on-line with other take-outs, I get my food ON TIME as promised. At "The Habit", everytime I arrive at the posted time for pickup, I have to wait 10-15 minutes longer to get my order. Regardless if they are busy or not! Poor customer service.

I thought "charbroiled " meant cooked all the way through, but the meat was slightly pink inside. In the future, I would need to ask for "well done" for the burger. Overall, it was a good burger, which I got it for free for my birthday. You must sign up for "The CharClub" to receive your free cheese charbroiled burger.

Love the habit! However the last two times I've gone to this location it has been less than satisfactory. The meat was extremely overcooked and just use a really off flavor. I love the Habit and will still try again as it's next to my house but I hope this location can improve there quality.

Today we went because I love the veggie burger but was highly disappointed. The cashier was with a long face, we ask for a combo and she responded not such thing with them. We order fries and only my husband got his. I ask the manager and said sorry she maybe didn't hear you, but let me give you the fries, and that was it. Got busy and then avoid eye contact till we left. I mean were only fries but why to promise will give them to you and why to say no combo exists?

5 stars for the food, 1 star for honesty. Was having a bad day, feeling taken advantage of and I needed a treat. The burger was just what I needed, until I got home and looked at my receipt and saw they raised their prices by 20% and they are telling us. That was very disappointing. And no, it won't stop me from going back.

Went to get a free chicken club sandwich with bacon they are advertised advertising on their app. Not the greatest, chicken had no flavor and sourdough bread was not sourdoughy enough. Got a side of fries (disappointing) and a mocha shake that was ok. Won’t order those particular items in the future, that’s if I even go back to eat there again, maybe not for a couple years.

I get that the economy is expensive, but the burgers aren't worth 15 dollars. As far as the portion goes. Good burger but still not 15 dollars good.

The burgers are good, and are a decent size, everything else on the menu is a rip off. The sandwiches have very little meat on them, and their frys cost is half of a burger, and they hardly give you any frys at all. Just order any burger only and you won't feel ripped off.

Not habit forming. Besides having to wait long time for the food, which can be understandable, the tables were dirty. The food was just not good at all. I usually don't like to waste the food but this was not edible. Grilled cheese was some kind of coloured cheese that didn't taste if anything, and all was soaked in butter flavouring, not even the real butter. Burgers were meh, french fries probably frozen, chocolate shake also nothing to write home about, even my kids didn't want to drink it.

Nobody at the counter, supposed to use the kiosk now. Used the kiosk to order our 3 meals and all the customizations (ketchup, salad dressing, napkins, etc.) were ignored. Restaurant was empty at lunch time on a Saturday afternoon. Gee, I wonder why...

it took 25 min to get 2 burgers only 4 guest before us. at least the order was correct this time, unlike the last 2 times. our order was wrong. I do think it's good quality food though

Restaurant a Mess. Napkins on the floor throughout the dining room. Ladies room no paper towels, paper on floor in both stalls. Could not have had a manager on duty tonight. Every table I tried to sit at at 910pm was dirty from previous guests. Business may have been booming earlier but no one was taking the lead on the remainder of the flow of business. Did not enjoy my food.

OVER PRICED BURGERS! Typical burger... Lettuce is shredded so falls out completely once you pick up your burger. Frys taste like jack in the box fries at room temp! NOT EVEN FRESHLY MADE ! So your eating room temp over priced jacks!

On complaining?!customer is made to accept that it’s UberEats that should take cars of the issue instead of The Habit taking care of of their error & making things right & send another driver to make the order right ! Waited more than 30 minutes while very few customers, not busy at all, when asked server just said they are working on it, no apologize, no explanation, the counter behinds showed no food at all, never started my food after 30 minutes Now it's been 47 minutes, foods are up, I asked for explaining about the ridiculous wait, she simply said they are busy, I was watching it the whole time, in store customers are less than average at the time, won't be back again, too bad I have enjoyed this place for years.

Not sure what happened to the quality of food at this location. The salad was awful the burger was awful. The bread dried out. The only bright side is it did not make me sick.

I ordered 2 burgers and 2 fries. Customer service has changed 😑 I asked for ranch and the lady gave me one ranch and she said it could be shared which is ridiculous!! Also I feel the food quality has changed . Bone and grissle in burger.

I just ordered, through postmates, and very disappointed that my order was not correct. I am not blaming postmates, but the employees at The Habit Burger Grill for not making it as instructed. I order a Charburger, not a Charburger with cheese. Online, it clearly has two options: Charburger or Charburger with cheese. Further, there was hardly any lettuce in my burger and 1 slice of tomato; way too much mayo. The quality was very poor and I will no longer be a customer at this location.

Horrible. Understaffed to many people on the kitchen side and only one cashier. Cashier was taking orders as well as bagging orders. My found was left a good 10 min in the tray until the cashier was able to come and bag it. She first took care of the long line (peoples orders). Fries, onion rings, burgers everything was super cold. Very disappointed. Lost me as a customer.

Placed phone order for 2:30pm. Was notified at 2pm the order was ready. The portion on my chicken barbecue salad was depressing. Where was the onion or cheese? It literally had 2 oz of chicken which was good and about .5 oz of bacon crumble and a drizzle of barbecue sauce. For the price, it should be amazing. Unimpressed. I'll save my money and eat at home.

The french fries were cold and the burger was just barely tepid. They charged over $11 for a double cheeseburger and a soda. I could have got the same meal across the street at In and Out for eight dollars and change. They claim to have the best burger in America however I would say they are mediocre at best. I would rate their burgers, rated 1-10 about a 4 and that's a gift. I won't be going back. They contacted me with offers of free stuff after this post, but I declined. With management like this, how could they improve? What kind of restaurant manager would ever allow a meal to be served less than optimal temperature?

Not sure what's up with the 2 locations in Orange, CA, but neither of them can seem to get an order right. Their locations in Arizona never messed up. Never. AND, if you get a To-Go order, once you get home, you can't call them to tell them they messed up - there's no telephone number on the receipt, & when you Google the number, it leads to a main call center somewhere in California that won't put you through to the location. Tonight the order was only correct on the receipt - the actual food wasn't right. They didn't give me half regular fries & half sweet potato fries, it was all sweet potatoes. We asked for extra onions on the burger, & there were barely any at all. Asked for Sauce on the side for my steak sandwich, & there was none. Again, this was all on the receipt. This is not rocket science folks, and it's not asking for the moon to have them simply do their jobs correctly.

All of our food was cold and the fries, onion rings, and green beans had so much salt on them that they were inedible. To top it all off, we couldn't order a shake as they were "temporarily unavailable." We will never patronize this establishment again.

Filthy. Don't eat here. Used to be good, but now everything is covered in some kind of defilement. If the food was good, but, that too isn't what it was. Also, they really seem to struggle with puddles of water on their low carb burgers. But, there are other options if you're a burger person.

This past Sunday I placed an order at the Orange CA location through UberEats for pick up & delivery. I have never had a bad experience with The Habit in Orange before this time. When I received my order the whole order was delivered cold, and it was soggy. This was mainly caused by the way it had been packaged at the Habit. We had to reheat the food, but the buns on the burger, and the lettuce wrapped burger were soggy due to the condensation in the bag. All of the Green beans and fries were cold and soggy. Just now I tried to call the Habit in Orange to speak to the Manager, but I was directed to a call center, and they said they could not connect me to the Orange location. The call center directed me to a website to fill out my complaint on their contact page. I expected a response within 24 hours, but 3 days later, I have received zero response from The Habit. What kind of business does not allow you to call to speak to Managment? What kind of business does not respond after 3 days? Apparently, they do not care.

I come to the Habit for one thing, they serve Heinz malt vinegar for their french fries. I grew up using malt vinegar on my fries and love the tangy flavor. The Habit is one of very few restaurants that have malt vinegar as a condiment. I ordered my meal, almost $20 - ouch! None the less, I get my food and walk over to splash some malt vinegar on my fries. There is no malt vinegar on the condiment tray. Perhaps some heathen took the bottle to their table for their sole use. Annoying, but it happens. So I tell the counter person there no bottle of malt vinegar for the fries. She answered me telling me they ran out because they forgot to order it in their supply list. Very incompetent staff. But, mistakes happen. However, what did the manager do to correct the problem, NOTHING! Again, mistakes happen, buy why not correct the problem? And it would be so simple to do. This Habit is located about 100 yards from a Walmart. Why not just grab $20 from petty cash and buy 10 bottles of Malt vinegar from Walmart and make your customers happy. Instead, lacking any common sense or initiative, the manager is like tough crap, no malt vinegar for you - even though you just paid $20 for a burger fry and drink. This is not they way to make happy repeat customers!

Ordered lettuce wrapped / protein style burger ... the few pieces of lettuce they've used made it impossible to enjoy the burger as it fell apart right after two bites. Other locations use way more leaves so there is that. Also the dressing for ceaser salad was way off from again their other locations it tasted like sour mayo without the anchovies that's a must in such dressing. Lastly the cleaning of their vacant tables would be desirable to have taken care of.

Ordered food through the kiosk, got a receipt sent to my phone and everything but somehow the never received my order after waiting for almost 30 minutes. The person I ordered with on the same kiosk got their food but it was cold by the time they were able to eat it. Horrible customer service at this location. I will never eat at The Habit ever again based off of this experience.

As a DoorDash driver and regular at The Habit Burger (Orange), I’ve seen my fair share of sloppy service, but this last visit sealed the deal—literally. I asked an employee (headphones in, attention out) if the order was ready. Showed the screen, confirmed the name, counted the items—basic stuff. She nods, hands me a sealed bag. Surprise—wrong order. Sealed bags are great for safety, but they’re a gamble when the staff can’t be bothered to double-check. Drivers get burned for their laziness while we burn gas trying to make things right. It’s unprofessional, careless, and frankly, insulting. I’ve reported it to DoorDash because this wasn’t a one-off. If you’re picking up here—stay sharp, double-check, and don’t be afraid to call them out. They clearly need the reminder.

Extremely terrible service came in for an order pick-up off of the app and the ETA was completely wrong I received cold food and attitude that was not necessary asked to speak with a manager so I was referred to Kay, Melvin walked around the corner while Kay was in the kitchen so how they spoke must have been through telepathy. I asked her regarding app and time and she said "you want to talk to me nothing going to change" so this will be the last time I ever order from the habit I'll just use my birthday char and leave it at that

I had the WORST and Nastiest experience ever today at the habit. The Manager was holding her cellphone and talking while touching the food!! Gross! I have said something to her. So she took off her gloves and touched the food without gloves!! Nasty! Her response was “I’m trying to call more people to come help me!” No excuses!!! I asked for the complaint line and they gave me the number for their store. Wow!!! on her cell phone
