This is a newly opened café inside Epic Universe in Orlando, Florida, located in the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts area. It’s an absolutely charming spot that really makes you feel like you’re in 1920 France. I had the Butterbeer crepe here. The cream had that classic Butterbeer flavor, sweet and delicious. They also offered light snacks and drinks.
Went during Preview so take that into consideration. I found it odd that none of the casual sit down places in any of the worlds have restrooms so you have to go out, sometimes very far away, leave your table which they then delay your order it's kind of a mess. I couldn't imagine doing that with little ones or any sort of mobility/stroller situation. I got a crisp white wine and a lemon crepe and they both were filling, well prepared and delicious. The interior is beautiful and grandiose and I appreciate that they had a separate counter service for just drinks vs sit down food.
Usually I wouldn’t leave a review for a theme park but WOW! This is undeniably the place to go for breakfast at Epic Universe. It’s set up at as an upscale French cafe. The process was simple we just sat down at a table and used a QR code to order food through the Universal app. I got a bacon quiche and OMG it was DELICIOUS! My husband was remiss that he went with the breakfast sandwich (which was also pretty good) because of how good the quiche was. It came with a butter beer and some fruit. The meal isn’t super heavy but was good enough for us that we’re planning on going on rides. The atmosphere is beautiful as well. A MUST see if you’re visiting Epic. And try the quiche! You won’t regret it!
It was a breath of fresh air to find this restaurant while visiting Universal. The menu was a refreshing change from the usual park food. My son and I loved the diversity and quality of the dishes, everything was tasty and well presented. Prices were fair, especially considering the busy park location. Ordering through the app was fast and seamless, making our dinner quick and stress-free. A great find we’d happily return to.
I heard about the French onion soup on an epic forum. While it was really good - Nick made our whole meal. He wasn't our server but he kept coming by and he had this act that was so funny our cheeks were hurting from smiling. He stayed on character and didn’t break once. He is awesome. While we met a lot of nice people in the park - but Nick really stood out.
I went for breakfast with my family and everything was excellent. The Croissant Supreme and the Jambo were my favorites—delicious! The service from our server, Danimir, was incredible: very attentive, positive, and friendly, always with a great attitude. I would definitely return and highly recommend it. Thank you for the great service!
I really enjoyed my visit to Café L’air De La Sirène. The Quiche Lorraine was warm and tasty, with a nice flaky crust. The Créme Brûlée was creamy with a crunchy sugar top, very good! My favorite was the Butterbeer Crepe. It was soft, sweet, and full of butterscotch flavor. Everything was delicious, and the place felt magical. I would definitely go back!
A little lack luster service. There's no sign saying you have to buy your food on the app but drinks can be bought at the counter. The butter beer crepe was amazing even though our coffee showed up 10 minutes after we finished eating.
Delicious food and nice ambiance. Tried the Jean Bon Beurre sandwich and a Pain au Chocolat (which was the best of the 3 theme parks, I’m always on the hunt for a good chocolate croissant!). The app ordering function went down, so we had to wait for quite a while, but staff came around to double check and brought out orders.
We loved it! Beautiful ambiance. The menu offers great French dishes. My husband had the Steak Au Poivre - not a steak, more like Salisbury steak but he loved it; great hand-cut fries. I had the strawberry/mint ice tea - delicious! I also had the Salad Nicoise, it was delicious! We also shared the Citronnee Aux Chambord - fantastic! We sat outside and had a surprise visit from some of the Harry Potter characters - so much fun! Highly recommend!
My husband was eager to try the Bièraubeurre Crêpe (Butterbeer Crepe), which is a dessert offered at Universal Epic Universe's The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Ministry of Magic. This delicious treat features two crepes filled with a shortbread cookie butter Bavarian cream and Butterbeer cream, topped with strawberries, a Butterbeer drizzle, and a shortbread cookie. The crepe is served cold and costs $19.99. When you first enter, it's a first-come, first-served system. You choose your table and order via a QR code, and then your items are delivered to you. We opted to sit outside, so we could enjoy the weather and view. It didn't take long to receive our order. Once we tried the crepe, we understood the hype. The infusion of Butterbeer elevates the experience to another level. It was my first time trying a crepe, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The whipped cream really enhanced the dish for me as well. Overall, we loved it and would definitely order it again.
Stopped in here to get out the rain and the food was amazing. We got the butterbeer crepes and the French onion soup. Both were really good but the crepes were phenomenal. It was my birthday and one of the cast member’s gave me a free butter beer after learning I waited 3 hours for the Harry Potter ride without getting on. It is such a nice spot to people watch and enjoy the Main Street.
Excellent place to have a bite inside Epic Universe. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They sit you, and you scan the QR code on the table to place the order. The food took a while to come out, but that allowed us to cool off and take in the ambiance of the café. The food was delicious, and the portions were perfect. We had boeuf bourguignon, poulet a la provençale, french onion soup and the creme brulée for the dessert.
Located in the heart of Epic Universe's Harry Potter world, this cafe is a must stop. Beautifully decorated, this creates a warm, inviting atmosphere. Friendly service and easy ordering through the app. Food was hot and delicious, and a wide array of drinks serves to quench your thirst on a hot Florida day. Recommended!
We ordered a gluten free sandwich with turkey, Gouda cheese and thinly sliced apples. It came with fries- sadly that weren’t fresh but the sandwich was so good and enough to share! Glad they didn’t charge extra for my gluten free. We were full the rest of the day just from splitting that!
This was a last minute decision for dinner so I did not expect much. But we were pleasantly surprised. I ordered steak frites and it was delicious. Fries were crisp and the sauce was excellent. My husband had the beef dish Beouf Bourguignon. He said it had a lot of meat and was delicious. I felt the price point was reasonable. My daughter needed a gluten free meal and the manager came out and specifically had the chef modify a dish for her. So very pleased and an unexpected surprise. We will make this a must do on our next trip to Epic.
A charming café located inside Epic Park, offering high-quality French cuisine with some vegetarian options available. The French onion soup, as seen in the photo, was rich, cheesy, and full of flavor—absolutely delicious 👌👌. The sandwich was packed with a variety of flavorful vegetables and came with condiments (just ask!). The fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned to perfection. Make sure you are able to order via the Universal app for a quick service
The butterbeer crepes were a divine, cold, dessert. Could use just a few more strawberry pieces. Expensive. Staff were friendly. Service was quick. Decor is lovely. Clean. A/C is good. No cell or wifi reception. Had to go back outside to place mobile order, then go back inside, then scan table number.
Universal does a great job at accommodating dietary restrictions! If you have a dietary restriction, you must flag your order for an allergy. Either a manager, chef or both will come out to speak with you about your dietary needs & explain their process with you. That chef then personally makes your order and brings it to you. I am so impressed by this level of care and professionalism. The food is also delicious- especially for theme park food!
Of the three Harry Potter themed restaurants in Universal, this one is the most different. Set in 1920s era Paris, it's probably pretty true to form as to what a spot like this would have looked like at the time, allowing for the wizarding themed art, of course. The food was recognizable as "Potteresque", though a bit more removed from the main series. It's worth it to wander in and take a look around. We had a package that included a breakfast here, and without it, I'm not sure I'd have stopped in, which would have been a shame. It's foid is appropriately more delicate and "Parisian" than the hearty fair served at it's two siblings, so may not fill you up as long, but it's still good.
Easily my favorite quick service place to eat at Epic Universe. The food is very excellent. The atmosphere fits the theme of French cafe very well. It is a bit loud and crowded but that’s true of most restaurants at Epic right now. We got the quiche and butterbeer crepes for breakfast one day. They were both excellent and the best quiche I’ve had at a casual dining restaurant ever. For lunch we got a baguette sandwich and the French onion soup. Both of those were also very very good. The artwork and aesthetic is also amazing. I’d strongly recommend checking it out!
Great first stop for food during our EPIC day. The butterbeer crepe is very sweet but excellent balanced with some coffee. They do not have an espresso machine so it’s just regular pour over coffee. There are lots of options and my friend who has allergies was accommodated very efficiently for his allergies.
We went here exclusively to try the butter beer crepe, which was delicious. Everyone seemed to be obsessed with this dessert and once we tried we could understand why. Although it looks like a regula crepe, it has an amazing flavour that’s kind of hard to describe: to some it tasted like butter and caramel, to others it tasted like almonds… The crepe is expensive but perfect for sharing. The place looks amazing, it has all the feeling of both being in Paris and being part of the Harry Potter world. This was the perfect sweet treat of the day.
Cafe L'air De La Sirene is our go-to, must-have spot when we visit Epic Universe. The Butterbeer (insert French spelling here) is delectable! This time, we also tried the roasted chicken dish, and it was great. The wizarding drink menu is fun. We always have a Butterbeer, and this time we also tried the Dirigible Plum drink. TASTY! The atmosphere is stunning...fancy, French cafe in Florida with wizarding themes? Yes, please! The staff is efficient and on-theme. When you visit Epic, make the Cafe a place to stop!
Such a beautiful café! The atmosphere truly makes you feel like you’ve stepped into Paris. The staff is very attentive and welcoming, and I really appreciated how smoothly everything went when ordering through the mobile app the food came out quickly and fresh. They also provide booster seats for little ones upon request, which is a huge plus for families. And the food… absolutely delicious! Every bite was full of flavor and well prepared. This spot is definitely a must visit when you’re at Epic Universe.
Dec 2025. We planned to start with the Main Harry Potter ride as soon as they opened like we did the past 2 days. But it wasn’t operating yet. So we started here for our Breakfast. It was a very different menu from our last two mornings in Great Britain. Very strange theme and artwork.
10/10 if I could. The hype is 1000% worth it! Food, on point! Atmosphere, on point! Staff, friendly. Yes, you spend a bit of money just on one entree, however…you get a drink included (yes, BUTTERBEER is one of those options! *We went for breakfast when we went here so can only vouch for breakfast but highly recommend!!!
Ate at Café L’air de la Sirène and it was a nice break from typical park food. I got the Steak Frites with peppercorn sauce, and also tried the Boeuf Bourguignon, which was warm, rich, and comforting. Nothing super fancy, just solid French food when you want something filling and sit-down at Universal.
A delightful stop for lunch! We were very impressed with food and loved the look of the cafe. With the space and food being so vibrant and immersive, I wasn’t a huge fan of the “quick service” app-ordering style. That said, our orders arrived promptly, without error and with someone coming by to check in on my food allergies, all in the midst of a lunch rush. The food was very hearty and rich, almost spoiling our appetites for dinner a few hours later. The plum juice stood out as a really refreshingly sweet option. If you’re looking to have one meal for your day at the park, this is the spot!
We stopped by here to get a sweet treat before the end of the night. It was not too busy when we came in. My sister got a Crème Brûlée, and I got a cold butter beer (Bièraubeurre Froide). I loved the theming of this place. It was nice and clean, and the decorations were cool. We did a mobile order, and they brought it to our table within a few minutes of us arriving. The crème brûlée looked and tasted nice! I liked how creamy it was, and it had a light, delicate flavor. The cold butterbeer really hit the spot after a long day in the park! I really like the foam on the top. The people who brought us our items were so nice.
This café is such a charming little spot inside the Wizarding World. The Parisian wizard vibe is beautiful — elegant details, warm lighting, and that magical atmosphere that makes you want to slow down and actually enjoy your break. The pastries and lighter bites are perfect if you don’t want a heavy meal. The crepe was really warm and fresh, and the Butterbeer flavor in the menu items (and drinks!) is delicious — just the right balance of sweet and creamy. It’s a nice change of pace from typical theme park food and a great way to indulge in some magical treats. It can get busy during peak hours, especially in the afternoon, but the setting alone makes it worth the stop. If you love the immersive Harry Potter theming, this café adds such a cute and cozy touch to the whole experience.
A good option for lunch with great theming. We both had the turkey sandwich which were decent size and quite tasty. The bread was a bit chewy though. The butterbeer crepe was delicious and it actually comes with 2 so easily shared if 2 people. The restaurant is mobile order only so if there's a line to get in you can order and assign your table after which makes things a lot faster. @Universal---please stop being cheap and add complimentary cups of water to the app! Would save everyone so much time including your employees running around!!
🪄Phenomenal Food - Perfect Place for Breakfast or Lunch🪄 I don't even know where to start. Café L’air De La Sirène is excellent - from its convincing, immersive, French-inspired architecture, to its warm, delicious food. The crepe, croissant breakfast sandwich, and Butterbeer Crepe were all fantastic, and a cup of pumpkin juice and lavender lemonade made it all the sweeter to the taste buds. I cannot recommend this place enough. Easily one of my favorite theme park dining experiences ever. I can't wait to go back.
If I could give atmosphere a 10 star I would. Nick was extraordinary. He was funny, helpful, joking and perfectly in character. I would come back again if only to just see him. The food was good. French onion soup placed in my top 5, and we eat a lot of French onion soup. Fries were fresh, and the sandwiches were also large and tasty. Erin EnD Adventures
My favorite restaurant at Epic Universe. Very festive and nice ambience. Food is served hot and quality of ingredients is higher than expected. When you enter the restaurant, you can order mobile and scan the QR code when you get seated. Overall the price is reasonable for the food, service and ambience. Would love to come back next time I visit the theme park.
My wife and I both got the Poulet à la Provençale / Roasted chicken and it was *really* good! Just a quick heads up, there's not really a waiter. You order (and pay) for your food through the mobile app by scanning the barcode on your table. Our food came out within about 7 minutes of ordering! So it was super fast! The tomato olive vinaigrette was absolutely incredible! If I was going back again I would ask them to add a little extra sauce since they don't really give you a lot. But otherwise, absolutely fantastic! Very light as well. Not heavy at all. Chicken and fingerling potatoes were both really good! Highly recommend!!
We came here for lunch while visiting Epic Universe. The interior was stunning! We were seated immediately and we ordered from the QR code on the table. Food and drinks came quickly after ordering. We ordered the Ratatouille baguette with fries which was delicious! If we were to return we would absolutely come back here again to have this. One of the best meals of our trip! The food was very fresh as well as being well presented. I think this cost us roughly $16.
As soon as I walked in, I was seated immediately. Luckily, I didn’t have to wait long, and the customer service was very friendly. The Bieraubeurre Crêpe is incredible! It's perfectly made! I also really enjoyed my lavender lemonade and the fraise strawberry mint tea! Definitely worth trying.
Great decor. Good food. Slow service and Universal app doesn't have the English translations under drinks when it comes with order for food. Glacee means frozen even though Froid looks more like it.
Stopped here for lunch. Seemed like a nice place to eat and cool off. We were with another couple. They received their food in 10-15 minutes, we waited almost 45 minutes. The food runner told us the kitchen didn't make it because they thought it was a double order. I asked how that's possible when we ordered different items and we prepaid for the food. She went and got our food in about 5 minutes and sent the manager over. The manager just looked us and apologized, but offered us nothing. Food was okay nothing to write home about.
Very cool restaurant, friendly staff (even though you don’t interact with them much), and the food is really good. The chicken, green beans, and potato dish was really good value for portion size and price. The quiche Lorraine, butter beer crepe, and some other mashed potato with beef gravy were probably overpriced for the portion size (even considering theme park prices). It would be 5 stars if only slightly cheaper.
The food was delicious. There wasn't ry any service though you order on your app it's brought to you and that's all but it was nice to just order and eat and enjoy your time with your party. There was a hair in not one but two of our dishes but it was quickly corrected and the food and drinks were phenomenal. We would love to go back!
We were underwhelmed, to be honest. Had high hopes for the Butterbeer crepe, but it was only meh. Didn't suck, don't get me wrong, but it did not wow us. Except for my 15-year-old son who simply inhaled his. And the cost? Ouchie. I think it was just under $120USD for 4 Butterbeers and 4 crepes. Oof. Anyway, had to try it once, won't have it again. But all the other food we saw other people eating, it all looked fabulous - and smelled just as good.
Do not order the beef bourguignon and you’ll be fine, lol! We ended up having a rushed dinner here because we were waiting for the nearby show to start at 7:15pm, which we ended up missing, because the 4 entrees took a bit longer than expected. The steak au poivre was not real steak but overall tasty but the poulet (roasted chicken) was by far the best dish — it was tender and the vinaigrette that covered it was extremely flavorful (who would have thought that on of the best vinaigrettes I’d have ever tasted was at a theme park). And… the beef bourguignon. We were très deçu: it came with around 5 tiny pieces of beef on a plate of purée. We asked if we could change it for another entree given the obvious scarcity and the server did not hesitate in doing so. The trade for the poulet was well worth it. We saw other patrons’ creme brûlées and they looked good (the brûlées, not the patrons).
Can't beat the French restaurant vibe of the place. Too bad the menu is limited, and you can't make special requests when ordering. Which is done at the table via a QR code. The kids nights meal with fries was delicious. The granddaughters loved it. French onion dip was also delicious (the small salad served with was a delicious surprise. The twisted chicken was a little dry and just a meh for me. The titles sandwich was very good
We ate here for three separate meals. The first visit was for breakfast where we had the Butterbeer Crepes with coffee to drink. The fact that this place is supposed to be a French cafe, it was very disappointing that they only had below average drip coffee. The crepes had a very impressive presentation however they were served completely cold; far from what would be considered authentic French crepes. For lunch we ate the Sandwich de dinde and French Onion Soup. Both of these were delicious. For dinner, we ate the beef bourguignon and galettes de tomate, both excellent. Overall quite good for a theme park restaurant but could be better with real French cafe coffee options.
This was by far our favorite Harry Potter themed restaurant. Much different from your average theme park dining experience. Staff was friendly and accommodating to what our family needed. Butter beer crepe was amazing, and 1 order is shareable with 2 people. Portions of the entrees were on the smaller side. (Kids meal for example only had 2 chicken tenders) we got a kids meal, a sandwich, and a crepe for about $50. I was disappointed I couldn’t find any hot butter beer anywhere in epic though.
This French-style café is located at the Harry Potter area at Epic. Ambience is great and service was friendly and fast. We shared a baguette that came with turkey and apple and cheese, and it tasted really good. The lavender lemonade was really good. The kids meal was a bit of a let down because their burgers tasted like they were from McDonald's but with theme park prices. Still, worth going.
I was so looking forward to coming here for a great breakfast. It is European right? They should have excellent GF/DF options for me to try? NOPE. Do not come here for breakfast if you need to eat gluten free. They don't have much. I couldn't even get eggs for the sub roll! I have seen other reviews for dinner items that look fabulous, come here for dinner, not breakfast. I got an Udi's sub roll and fruit. I am not kidding, look at the photo. That is a GF/DF "breakfast" from this place. My wife had a fabulous breakfast and she loved it, but not me. I would love for the allergy options expanded for breakfast exponentially. Totally broke my expectations in a bad way. I shall return at some point for dinner maybe to give them a 2nd shot.
Beautiful cafe with lots of seating. Seat yourself, order in the app and enter your table number. I had read mixed reviews about the butter beer crepes. Unfortunately I didn't like the texture of the crepe itself. It seemed a bit too thick and chewy. The flavor was good though. I also had a dirigible plum juice mocktail which was tasty. I'm glad I tried the crepe just for the experience, but I wouldn't order it again.
Located within The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, this French restaurant boasts elegant and impressive decor. It's always packed during meal times, so I recommend lining up early. The food is incredibly delicious and impressive. This restaurant is certainly high-quality considering the fast-food scene at Universal Epic.
Service was nice and the restaurant is gorgeous! We were instantly sat at our table, but there was a problem ordering over the Universal app (the norm here), which meant having to line up at the cashier. The menu offers many authentic French dishes, which were decent and served in a respectable time frame for a quick service restaurant. The Lavender Lemonade was perfect and extremely refreshing. (9/10. Just off a 10 because some garnishing would have taken it to the next level!). The Boeuf Bourguignon was decent, albeit not as rich as I’d hoped for and way over seasoned on the black pepper. Whilst the beef was relatively lean and good quality, don’t expect the meat to be as tender or fall apart like in an authentic bourguignon. (The bar set by Orlando parks, and Universal especially, is already set high, however this is quick service. 5.5/10). Finished off the meal with the Butterbeer Crepe, which was lovely, but served cold. It has that “Butterbeer flavouring” rather than tasting like the Butterbeer you actually drink. The portion size of this is big, and you could definitely share it if you’re not used to the larger portions usually offered in The States. (7/10)
This is a quick late lunch option if you are in Epic Universal Theme park. We came in with 8 ppl and was quickly seated. Used the QR code on the table to order your meal, so one word of advice, make sure you downloaded the universal theme park mobile app already and have your credit card linked to the app, then the order was a breeze. We had many dishes and all of them were pretty decent for theme park food. Check out the pics and you will be surprised. Overall taste was French theme and dishes, it’s not the best or authentic French cuisine but it’s doable when you are hungry.
Café L’air De La Sirène has an absolutely fantastic atmosphere — the theming and attention to detail are phenomenal. I loved that even the hot Butterbeer had French wording on it; those little touches really elevate the experience. The staff was incredibly pleasant, and one moment really stood out to me. A guest at the table next to us had a rare food allergy, and the chef personally came out to discuss it. He clearly knew every ingredient in each dish, custom-made her meal, and even brought it out to her himself. That level of care was genuinely impressive and very appreciated. I’m giving 4 stars because while the experience and service were excellent, the food itself tasted like typical theme park food — good, but nothing that truly stood out flavor-wise. Still, it’s absolutely worth visiting for the atmosphere and service alone.
We stopped here for lunch on our visit today and ordered the Crepe Citronnee Aux Chambord and the Bieraubeurre Crepe. Both were very flavorful and tasty but we were surprised to find they were both served cold. I’ve never had a cold crepe before and we think both of them would have been better had they been served warm. My mom said that the temperature of the crepes were “off putting.” The flavor of the butterbeer crepe was delicious and honestly tasted better and more like butterscotch than the actual butterbeer we drank. We both agreed that the Citronnee Aux Chambord was the better of the two crepes served cold because it’s filled with lemon cream cheese and topped with a berry compote. However, serving them warm would probably enhance the flavor of both. Overall, we really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant and a quick bite of food that isn’t your standard amusement park food!
We recommend the roasted chicken, creme brule, butterbeer crepe, lavender lemonade and especially the hot butterbeer (the chaud). I would have enjoyed the nicoise salad better with out the tuna salad as the tuna salad itself had way too much dressing in it. Just plain tuna served in the salad nicoise would be much better along with the champagne vinagrette.
Cafe L'air is the quick service dining restaurant in the new Ministry of Magic area at Epic Universe. We decided to have dinner here we wanted to have Butterbeer crepes for dessert. For food, I had the Boeuf Bourguignon which came with mashed potatoes. My husband had the roasted chicken with string beans and roasted fingerling potatoes. The string beans that came with the dish was SO salty that none of us were able to eat it. Our friend ended up with the chopped beef at poivre style, which was essentially a hamburger patty with a cream sauce. It came with the house greens salad that I wished could be ordered as a side, because I really just wanted some veggies. The food was fine. I kind of wished we had eaten in Berk instead because they had Swedish meatballs! But alas. The Butterbeer crepe was very good though and I do recommend it. Maybe have dinner elsewhere and just come in for the free AC and the crepe. You sit down and mobile order with your table number. They will then bring out your food when it is ready.
Stopped in for my SO to grab a bowl of French Onion Soup as a midday snack and was able to grab a table for two without a wait, but that wasn’t the case on the wait for the food. We ordered on the app for one bowl of soup. From the time of order placement to the time the soup arrived, 28 minutes passed. To make the wait more puzzling, a table of 8 next to us who sat later and ordered after us got three bowls of soup and crepes delivered to their table before our one bowl of soup. I had to go ask staff where our soup was and then it came out, but lukewarm. It was a busy spot around 4pm, but the whole place seemed slightly disorganized. Staff were friendly but the fact our one bowl of soup took nearly 30 minutes to show up after a larger table ordered after us and got their food, and ours not being the freshest, makes this a skip for me if I come back to Epic. Of all of our dining choices during our day, this one was easily the one we’d skip in the future for something else.
Well I will get straight to the point. I wouldn't eat here again. I liked the Parisian atmosphere and the service was ok but that was it. We all got beef bourguignon and that was the big disappointment. It was the worst beef bourguignon I have ever had and the most expensive. The taste was just meh and the beef was not tender at all. On top of that the small quantity you get was pretty insulting for the high price. I have no problem at all paying up for good food but this was a travesty. This was dinner too and we left hungry and disappointed. I'd rather have went to Pizza Moon a second time.
The lines are huge — you have to order through the Epic app, as usual in this park, which is pretty convenient 👍 But the food left me confused. I expected a more authentic tavern in the Harry Potter area, and instead got a modern-looking “almost restaurant.” Ordered a steak — got a patty 😅 I’ll give this place a 3, and that’s being generous. Waited about 10–20 minutes, and honestly, it wasn’t worth it.
The staff is actually pretty friendly but it’s slow and needs more coordination. Food is above average theme park food but lacks consistency. We had a beef bourguignon that had no beef. But the staff was willing to swap it for us without a hassle. The whole experience wasn’t bad. I’d come back here if I was at the Ministry of Magic.
Compared to all of the other restaurants, this had the worst service and was the most disorganized. Six different people came to our table with other people's food. After over 30 minutes of waiting I had to check on our food. It had been ready and sitting in the kitchen and no one had brought it over. They only brought three sets of silverware for four people and after I asked for another, the server went to get it and forgot, so I had to ask another server to bring it.
Overall I had a swell time at the Cafe. My only disappointment was the initial encounter of entering the Cafe. We were seated in less than 2 minutes of entering, which was wonderful. We saw the barcode on the table and we were already aware of the menu from our universal app. We waited 15 minutes before we found out that we were supposed to mobile order. Which we were trying to do initially when we arrived, but had no way to do so on our app. I ordered over at the counter away from the seating and food arrived 10 minutes after ordering, which is great for how busy they were. The food and drink were also absolutely fantastic. Definitely would get the crepes again now that I am aware of the situation. Overall I wish that we would have been informed that we would have to mobile order upon being seated. Still a great birthday breakfast though!
The atmosphere is pleasant and we were served promptly but the food was a significant disappointment. We ordered the Beef Bourguignon. Their picture showed a huge plate of mashed potatoes with an ample amount of beef, carrots and onions on top in gravy. However, we were served a tiny portion of mashed potatoes, carrots and beef smothered in mostly gravy. We paid $19.00 a plate for what I would describe as gravy soup. Management disputed our feedback and defended their portion sizes. They should either show an accurate picture of what they're serving or give more meat, veggies and potatoes. The dessert was good but we would not recommend it for dinner.
My wife and I had breakfast vouchers for this place as a part of our vacation package. We got seated promptly but that was the only thing that was prompt about our dining experience. Ordered at the counter and went back to our table and waited and waited. 2 beverages took about 10-15 to get ran to our table. After that we watched other couple get their food after we arrived. Food finally came out after 35 min or so. My wife’s butter beer crepe came out ice cold and my croissant sandwich came out just lukewarm warm. We definitely expected more from this place.
No entendíamos qué estaba pasando.
I was really looking forward to trying breakfast at L’Air des Sirènes Café in Universal Epic Universe, but unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance. The park opens at 10:00 AM, and breakfast service ends at 10:30 AM. By the time we entered the park, got to the café, and waited in line, we were told that breakfast was already over. We only found out after waiting, when the gentleman who was about to seat us explained that breakfast time had ended. It honestly doesn’t make much sense that breakfast ends just 30 minutes after the park opens. It feels unrealistic to expect guests to make it there in time. What’s even more confusing is that heavier dishes like boeuf bourguignon and other lunch options are available after 10:30 AM—but breakfast isn’t. Very disappointing experience, especially since we were excited to try their morning menu. I hope they reconsider their breakfast hours to better align with the park’s opening time.
My family and I went to Café L’air De La Sirène for breakfast last week with high hopes since we love French style food. The restaurant is beautiful and the coffee was the better ones I had at the park so there's one star for that. You need to order through the Universal app, therefore expect robotic service from the wait staff with no customizations, check ins, etc. The food was abysmal. I've had Jambon Buerre in Paris, France so I was looking forward to having it here. The baguette was hard and at least 1-2 days old. Ham was cold, cheese was cold and only partially melted, and it was dry - no Dijon mustard butter. So disappointing and inedible. This sandwich had stale ingredients and was obviously premade and sitting under a heat lamp for hours, waiting to be ordered and served (like at the other park restaurants). The photo shows as much as I could tolerate it before being completely disgusted, which was a huge waste of $20USD. My daughter's crêpe looked yummy, but it was salty. This is odd for a chocolate/fruit crêpe. Another disappointing waste of money. My son initially liked his Croissant Suprême, until the runny eggs soaked the bottom half of the croissant, making it soggy and mushy. It was gross. Eggs should be able to be customized to either hard, medium, or soft. This place is only worth visiting to take photos at. Go to a real restaurant for a proper breakfast, and don't expect actual French quality food or your money's worth if you still choose to dine here.
