Frankie Farrells is a pleasant Irish pub with good food and beer. Customers praise the ribs and dessert. Some reviewers mention slow service, but others highlight the owner's excellent attention.
Tip: The owner is very attentive and conversational. Some reviewers recommend the ribs.
Cayman on a Sunday morning right before lunch time. Our server greeted as promptly and status. Other customer start coming in service was excellent. He recommended the shepherd's pie, which he stated was made in house. It was a quiet atmosphere with sports on the TVs both the fish and chips and the shepherd's pies were excellent. Hard to choose what to eat they had a lot of my favorites on the menu. Atmospheres a little dated, but outside of that everything was excellent.
I recently visited an Frankie Farrell’s and had their half size fish and chips, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The batter on the fish was absolutely fantastic — perfectly crispy and not too greasy. The fish itself was tender and flaky, cooked just right. The portion sizes were also generous,. The ambiance of the pub added to the overall enjoyment of the meal, creating a cozy and authentic atmosphere. I would definitely recommend trying their fish and chips if you're in the mood for some classic pub fare done exceptionally well. I’ll be back for sure !
We had lunch.......between the 4 of us we had chicken wings, salad, onion rings, and the must have giant pretzels with cheese sauce..... Mmmmmm... Awesome.... My wife is a celiac and the waiter did an excellent job making sure all the food my wife ordered was gluten free. Thank you so much for your attention to detail... It makes a world of difference to be able to go out to eat and be safe from getting sick.
Awesome dinner while on vacation! Even the picky 10 year old enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. At the table we had a cod sandwich with onion rings, steak quesadilla, turkey and bacon wrap with fries, and bangers and mash. All of them were delicious. The onion rings were very sweet and battered perfectly. The onion rings were strangely good! There is a nice bar to sit at and plenty of booths. There is about 6 arcade games to play while we waited. The service was prompt and friendly. The prices were typical for a hotel restaurant. We would definitely eat here again if we are looking for another sit down meal in the area!
The Shepard Pie was tasty and served piping hot. Meat was well seasoned with a delectable gravy. Had a sparse amount of carrots. A full 2/3 depth of the casserole was the nicy piped mashed potatoes. I suspect that they were instant. Choose to have it topped with cheddar cheese!
After leaving a different restaurant due to poor service, we stumbled upon this absolute GEM!!! Vio the manager and Scott the owner were so welcoming and inviting that they treated us as if we had been regulars for years. Wonderful service, and the food, well if I could rate more than 5 stars they deserve it!!!! The Sheppards pie was homemade and so good we took one to go!!!! I cannot recommend this place enough as they deserve every bit of praise.
It's kids friendly and therefore always loud! 😁 now I had their ribs plate and it was good 👍 not to die for, good though. Their drinks 🍸, to me, were weak though, I guest because they also cater to kids they may not want the parents to be to tipsy or rowdy
Was staying at the hotel where this restaurant is located at and decided to check this place out. We ordered Shepherds pie, fish and chips, and a reuben sandwich. The shepherds pie was very good, the filling was excellent and the mashed potatoes were great. The fish and chips had nice flaky fish with some pretty good chips. The reuben was pretty good. Would recommend checking this place out.
Absolutely amazing good guinness brilliant food here for another couple of weeks will be in here most nights and highly recommend best in orlando been coming orlando for 11 years now this little gem is 💯 the best by far 💯
Unexpected treat for lunch. The food was all fresh and house-made: hand-pattied burgers, fresh fried real cod, authentic shepherds pie, perfect chips soft in the middle and crisp outside. Everything was hot and served quickly. Their business seemed to be slow, but that's a reflection of the location in an apartment building next to a cruddy outlet mall, not the restaurant. This is worth a detour to try out.
David is an exceptional bar tender and an overall great person. Went way out of his way to accommodate us (going as far as giving us a jump pack for our car) and making sure we were taken care of. Had lots of fun at karaoke and enjoyed the pizza (pool side) everyday. The buckets are definitely worth it. 🙌🏻
My wife and I stopped in over the weekend two nights in a row for a pint. Service was good and the people were friendly and outgoing, we had a good time both nights having a drink and talking to others. We did not eat here, so no review for that. Drinks and conversation 5 star.
Great pub atmosphere, music was at a proper level so we were able to talk yet and still hear it. Great food, large menu including steaks, burgers, salads and traditional Irish offerings. Our waiter did an awesome job. This is a place we will definitely go to again when in the area.
Great food, friendly staff. They were great to accommodate a big group that were just getting into town, close to closing time. The Pretzel is really good! We got mostly burgers and bar food but was tasty after a day of travel!
Amazing food! Had the onion soup, never experienced the new flavors introduced in this! It was delicious! Family were all incredibly satisfied. Had a lovely waitress named Tammy. She was attentive and charismatic. Never had a server quite as friendly as she was!
Had a great meal and wonderful service. I am guessing that the negative reviews came from competitors who know that if word gets out how good this is, they will lose customers. The fish and chips were both flavorful and plentiful. My leftovers were enough for another meal to share with my husband. The prices were very reasonable and the atmosphere is that of an upscale pub.
We were staying at the resort and stopped in here one night for dinner. The service was excellent as well as the food and drinks! Prices were great and we left extremely happy.
Just visited last week, the fish and chips was good, the wings were good and the Sheppard's pie was amazing. Not the greatest food in the world but our party of 8 liked it. Went there a few evenings for drinks and got good service and good prices on draft.
I ate here last night after going to the outlets, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised!!! We had the bangers and mash and they were really great! Our waiter was so welcoming and just plain nice. He let us know that the kitchen makes a lot of the traditional foods from scratch everyday, and we could tell. This is a great little hidden gem, and I look forward to making this my new post-shopping stop for a drink and a bite.
Staff was very friendly. The food was spectacular! Everyone's dish was hot and fresh. Our table got the fish and chips, Shepherds Pie, Philly Cheese steak, and chicken strips with fries for the little one. Vio the manager treated us like we were family. 10/10 would recommend.
While on vacation we frequently had dinner here and we were pleased every time. Our favorites were the mushroom Alfredo and the spaghetti and meatball marinara. Quick service when we did take out orders as well. I was really grateful to have this as a good dining option!
Fish and chips were great, crispy, not oily, not fishy at all. My husband won’t eat anything that even kinda smells fishy and he was having multiple bites. I also had a Lemon drop martini and it was amazing. The onion rings and coleslaw were also really good! Also very attentive staff, kept checking on us and grabbing whatever we needed.
Let me start by telling you, this was the best burger I have ever had! Appetizers to main course was amazing. I ordered from here 2 days in a row. And the food was on point both times. We had dumplings and potato skins for appetizers, cooked fresh and perfect. And for dinner both days I had the BBQ southwest burger. When I tell you the angus beef was fresh, it was amazing. I could eat this burger everyday and I would still love it as much as the first day. I Extremely happy I ran into this place. Good job guys, keep up the great work!
Best food and a GREAT PRICE! BEST SOUTH WEST BURGER AND MUSHROOM BURGER! ONION RINGS FRIED TO PERFECTION AND FRIES ARE HUGE SO IMAGINE THE ONION RINGS... REAL BURGER MEAT AND A HUGE BURGER... GREAT PRICE TOO, BETTER AND CHEAPER THAN UBER EATS!
Guinness doesn't travel well, we all now that's a scientific fact but frankie farrell's returns a strong effort. My wife thinks we traveled 4336 miles to visit Disney but it turns out we traveled 4336 for frankie farrell's bread pudding. It saddens me we only discovered this deliciously on our last night.
After reading the reviews I didn't have much hope for this place. However, I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered drinks at the bar and apps to go. Service was great. Food came out quick and it was delicious. We got wings, the big pretzel, chicken strips, and mozzarella sticks. They were super tasty and everything was cooked fresh.
Just started coming here what a great place. The food has been really good and you can tell it is fresh. Everything I have had has been very good. They have a great selection of beers at the bar and they know how to pour a proper Guinness. Brendan and Vio have provided awesome service. This is my new go to spot. I used to go to Millers close by but the food here is way better and cheaper. If you have kids they have games and they overall atmosphere is very family friendly.
Our waiter was great! We had multiple requests due to allergies and preferences and he got everything correct. He was cheerful about it all. The food was wonderful. We ate here several different times during our stay across the street and enjoyed it every time.
This place is a hidden gem! I live walking distance and finally decided to stop by, and I’m glad I did! Great prices, true Irish pub. I had the Cajun chicken cheesesteak with a Guinness, I ate It too fast to take a picture. It was AMAZING! The chicken chunks were well seasoned and cooked! The draft Guinness was the icing on the cake to wash It down.
Plenty of bar seating and tables. Great selection of draft beers and Magners!, as well as full bar. Fish and chips are very good - huge piece of fish and the batter tasted good. A very good meal for those missing a chippy. Been here for other meals and the shepherds pie and wraps are also good to recommend 👌
I visited Frankie Farrell's in April while on vacation with a group of friends. The food was good, but the drinks and atmosphere were perfect. The service was great, the staff was friendly and efficient, and the price was right on target for what is to be expected for a sit down meal in Orlando. The restaurant is well within walking distance to the Lake Buena Vista Resort and Spa, and that makes this restaurant the perfect place to grab a bite!
My son wanted fish and chips for his birthday. Since we are staying at the resort it was convenient. We were blown away with how good the food was. I absolutely loved the shepherds pie. Would gladly come back even if I wasn’t staying at the resort (we are local ish) the Romanian server/bar tender was a delight and sadly I forgot his name, but he was still very noteworthy!
I had 1/2 order on fish & chips. Almost more than I could eat. Fabulous atmosphere. I'll definitely go back. Shepherds Pie was fabulous as well.
These guys were super nice and welcoming even though we came in 20 minutes to close. Ordered a few drinks and a Reuben to go. The food was super flavorable. Will definitely return on our next trip.
This was our favourite place to eat on holiday. The food is very well priced, always delicious and arrives quickly too. We ate at the pub for dinners which were filling and budget friendly. The mushroom Alfredo was a favourite of ours. The atmosphere was quieter than expected, however this was perfect for our party.
Thank god we found this place . We ate here for lunch and dinner every day once we discovered it. Food, staff and prices are amazing. They make you feel like family . Highly recommend.
So I just popped in for a quick bite and a beer, the atmosphere is very Irish pub, seems like a great place to watch a soccer match. It's a decent size and they have I believe over 25 beers on tap with a lot of Florida local ones. The bartender who was also our server was incredibly polite and a joy to talk to. I can't vouch for much of the menu since I just had the Philly, some wings and a Guinness. The wings were crispy and delicious and I must say they know how to pour a proper Guinness. The downside was that the Philly cheesesteak was cafeteria style at best. The fries were steak fries (a plus) but they were a little bit overcooked. If you're staying in the nearby hotel it's a nice place to get some food and a cold pint.
Reasonable food. Shrimp Scampi and Grilled Fish was good but the Mango cocktail does not have any Mango flavor. Rib steak was little dry. Broccoli was over boiled due to which become soggy, however mashed potato was good.
The beer was great, and the bartenders were decent... The Reuben sandwich wad great, as were the fish and chips, though the chips were slightly lacking in amount. Otherwise, no complaints 🍺😁
In fairness, I got my fish and chips to-go. It was amazingly soggy and light on flavor. I was a great piece of fish, so I tried it twice—same. Great looking place with a good atmosphere, and accommodating. But you probably shouldn't get your meal to go.
The food was excellent I had shepherd's pie my wife had fish and chips. The prices are very fair. We went for lunch. The service was very good. The atmosphere is that of a traditional Irish Pub. I wish more people knew about it. By the way they know how to pour a proper Guinness.
The server was great and the atmosphere was really nice. It's the actual food that is the problem. We got served instant mashed potatoes. What kind of restaurant serves instant mashed potatoes? Besides the mashed potatoes, everything else was great
Food was good...Ordered appetizer sampler, reuben, fish and chips, and bangers and mash. Was looking forward to steak fries, but they were not fresh. Server was very nice but not attentive. I wouldn't consider them to be extremely busy either. Overall it was good, if I lived here I would go back.
The food was amazing, service was great but to be fair it was not busy at all. I don't usually look at the bill very closely so I may have over tipped if it included 15% for takeout. I'll definitely be going back for a good meal though.
The restaurant is great and the staff is always very friendly (second time I've been here). The only reason it's 4 not 5 stars is because of the unauthentic menu for being a Irish Pub. The corn beef sandwich though is the best corn beef sandwich I have ever had, and the burgers are amazing. They even do breakfast, which is highly recommended if you are staying at the hotel there because the Denny's down the street is a nightmare for mornings. The cost is a little high, but overall the food, wait, and service was worth it. Plus there is electric car charging mere feet away. Definitely a great place to try!
Good service and decent food. Nothing to drive out of your way for but convenient if you're staying in the resort and want a low key meal. We got the pretzel app and fish and chips. Huge portions for the high price.
Surprisingly large menu selection. Was starting for business and are there 4 days in a row. Two of my four meals were the fish and chips... Had to do something else the other two nights because you can only eat so much fish and chips. The other meals also were delicious and the staff was very friendly. I would eat here again next time I come out this way.
This restaurant has a laid back atmosphere. I enjoyed a Guinness and Pretzel to start things off and had a shepherds pie for my main entree. I thought my food was good, however my wife ordered a Ruben and did note care for it. I would go back, but I am not sure if I would be able to get my wife to go.
As a tourist to the area I have to admit I was not sure what to expect, when I walked in it was pretty empty (it was like 4:00 pm on a Friday) but the service was nice the server/bartender was nice, I ordered a few drinks like the red berry martini and the Godfather, both were good drinks in which the flavors were good I highly recommend those two, we ordered the pretzel and it was very good, I had the bartender make me a long island ice tea, which is not part of the drink menu, it was good and I very much enjoyed it. Overall I would say that I is a good pub, I recommend to any other tourist that you take a look I don't think you will disappointed.
Food was only decent, and they didn't have a couple things. Server was really nice but being right next to a resort I would expect them to be a little better. Still for being walking distance, it was not bad.
It’s not the best Irish pub, illumination is bad, service is OK. We stopped by to get a beer and some food, chicken wings were very good, salmon was regular. Not impressed at all, looks like is more for tourist around the outlet mall. If you want to get a beer and wings for a quick stop this place is good
Food was average and very overpriced. 4 chicken tenders were $9. Just the tenders, no sides. The atmosphere and decor needs a makeover. 15% gratuity was automatically added to the bill. Staff wore mask, seating was not up to COVID-19 standards. Customers were seated in close proximity to each other. But on the brighter side, it is convenient if you’re staying at the resort. Lots of free parking and in walking distance to Lake Buena Vista Resort and Spa, and the outlet shops.
We were staying at the resort where it’s located and right we’d just try it since it was conveniently located. The place was not very inviting when we walked in. We all felt like they really didn’t want us there. Luckily we called in to go because I definitely didn’t want to stay. I ordered sweet Thai chili wings and they were fried fresh but could’ve used more sauce as they were a little dry. I also ordered onion rings which I didn’t eat baccarat they were greased soaked.
This was a decent place to get dinner, it was quick and easy to get to from our hotel. The food was fresh and OK, it wasn’t the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. The tartar sauce was weird I didn’t like it. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help us, which we appreciated. It wasn’t too busy when we were there either, which was a bit surprising.
Thursday eveing visit. Not busy, maybe 3 other tables were sat and 1 gentlemen at the bar. Our food was mediocre. Wife had a steak and cheese with fries. She said it was typical of a steak sandwich. I had the Bangers and Mashed. Flavor was good but the sausages were burnt. The restaurant is DIRTY. The place has a strange odor and EVERYTHING is sticky from the menus to the floor. The mens room was disgusting. Like I stated, dirty!! Based on how slow they were, I can't understand why there would be no time for cleaning. Even basic dusting looked like it hadent been done for months. Just makes me question how clean the kitchen is. 🤔
I am not a fan of the 15% auto gratuity that shows up on the itemized bill, but not your final bill. A bit. Disingenuous. I got the shepherd's pie which the bartender said was very popular and good. It was without hardly any peas and carrots, and the mashed potatoes on top looked like they had been squeezed out with a icing gun. It was never baked on top and overall was just a bunch of meat and potato puree. Pretty below average shepherd's pie. The music inside was modern top 40 pop that no one seemed to want to listen to but there was no way to change it. If you are looking for any sort of authenticity, this is not the place to go. The food pricing besides the 15% is decent though
Food was average. Ordered only fried things to go and they came out on time. They did not tell me they add automatic gratuity to a To-Go order (only two apps on the order). Had to go to the 3rd receipt to see that they add a tip automatically.
We came here about a year ago. The food was absolutely awsome so we figured we would stop again. This time the food was not very good. My burger smelled like the meat was bad,my son found a peace of plastic in his drink, and my other sons burger also smelled like the meat was bad.. I was very disappointed. We where looking forward to there food.. I hope next year the food is back on point
Strange place, don't think it really knows what it wants to be? Food portions were small but well cooked, we only had a burger, not many fries. The atmosphere is dreadful, dreary and dull. Time for an up date I think. We had a balcony opposite overlooking the restaurant and we hardly ever saw anyone going in, don't know how they survive and perhaps the Pizza Hut at the shop has done them damage. Hope they survive but they need a rethink. Staff were good snd attentive.
Pleasant enough, nice staff, didn't really feel like a cosy Irish bar. Food was typical American stuff like burgers etc. it had Guinness on tap with Kilkenny!
Its not like it used to be. When we used to go, it was fun & everone had fun & enjoying themselves but its not like that anymore. We went for St Patrick's Day & hardly no Irish music & no one seemed interested. Its gone down hill. 🤷🤷
After reading the 4 star reviews, I thought it would be good. It was not. The boneless wings were over fried, dry and barely sauced. The onion rings were ok, but basic and over fried. My daughter had a Caesar wrap and it was chewy. It was not worth 42$ Lastly, I asked for Diet Coke and was served Diet Pepsi without any notification from the staff. It was weird there was more staff than diners, but I thought maybe it wasn’t their prime time. The food wasn’t served with love or flair. Most of it seemed to be emptied from a box into a fryer. It was a convenient location but not worth the spend with other places nearby.
I get the service might be short staffed. 2 or 3 items on the menu are Irish. Chicken looks like it was cut with a chain saw. Kids sitting at the bar. Tables were sticky due to the varnish, so actually cleaning won't help. Shepherds pie was decent. Menu photos make you not want to order.
For as much as we paid for the food, I'd expect it to at least be warm. But it was stone cold. I suppose it must have been outside their busy hours since there wasn't a soul inside, but my meal shouldn't taste like you just pulled it out the fridge and microwaved it for 30 seconds. Not to mention, all of the tables had wads of napkins underneath the legs so they wouldn't wobble. Not a good look. The server was a bit rude.
Really good friendly service, Only had a drink here and it was really quiet dirty, sticky floors and tables, the blinds was all splattered and in need of a good clean, the windowsills where thick in dust and dead flys everywhere, I would not have eaten here.
Buena cerveza y aceptable comida pero la atencion es pésima. Fui dos veces porque me alojaba en frente y tardan horas en atenderder o en traerte la cuenta y eso que estaba casi vacío. El ambiente es muy lindo.
Hello, Today, around 3:57 PM, I ordered a cup of water before ordering my food. After drinking it, I noticed something was in the water, and it made me feel dizzy was not normal and not safe at all The person who served me was named Dani. After I left the location, I called him to report what happened but When he answered, he said ‘hello,’ but then immediately hung up without speaking to me. I am very concerned about this incident and would appreciate it if you could look into it and ensure the water served to customers is safe. Thank you for your attention. Sincerely, Oumaima abourmal
Went here for our first night of vacation. 1 star is generous. The waiter was very rude, rolled his eyes when we walked in. Sat us at a super sticky table, our infant was touching it sticking to it. Food was average. Service was terrible. Go anywhere else!!
We were a party of 5 with a baby. Server took our order and was very polite. We all ordered our food which was shepherdeds pie, fish and chips, sante fe wrap, Philly cheese sandwich, and burger and a kids pasta meal. The meal arrived promptly. We all took our first bites and 1 member in our party took his first bite into his hamburger and immediately pulled a long black hair out! It was so long it was half in his mouth still while trying to fish it out. We all stopped and got the server…he said are you sure? We didn’t have anyone working now with long hair.. Can you show me the hair? Which we did. Server took it showed it to a manager (I think was a manager, it was another coworker). Then came back and asked if he wanted something else. At this point the person that had a hair in his food said no thank you. I’m good. He lost his appetite. Server said OK, never apologized, no manager ever came over. We received the check after the others ate their meal and left. So be aware of what you may encounter at this restaurant.
Easily one of the most subpar food experiences I have had. The mushroom burger had no seasoning to flavor it at all. Even the cheese tasted cheap because it had almost no flavor. Just rubber. The fries were obviously the Walmart steak cut frozen fries.
Food was absolutely terrible. They add tip to the bill and don’t tell you even for take out. Had a hot glass for my draft as well had a hot glass for my $9 shot of Jameson. I guess Jameson became I top shelf. I truly do not like leaving reviews like this, but it’s way too much money to spend on food that literally got tossed in the garbage.
We were served by Mark, he was pretty rude to my wife when she asked about GF options, made no attempt at a conversation and said salad sandwiches without bread. We stayed and ordered 3x steaks chicago style and he said they come as per menu. We decided to settle up on drinks and leave the food.
Food terrible. Nephew ordered medium rare steak. He got his steak and it was absolutely bloody and pink. So rare we had to have it sent back to be cooked longer. Me & 1 other in our party ordered a burger medium well and received a burger so well done that when we tried to cut the burger it cracked in half. Terrible food. Don't recommend.
Looked like a cool place from outside. Walked in at Noon for lunch. It is a large bar and restaurant, but was dark and empty of customers and staff, except for one couple. We weren’t sure it was open. Until someone came from the back and said to have a seat wherever. We walked around and noticed the floor was VERY sticky all over and then when we went to sit down at the table, the table top was super sticky. At this point, it wasn’t worth seeing if they even had cold beer. We left.
I wish I could tell you all how this place was, but when my wife and I walked in it wasn’t busy at all and no one was around to seat us. There was one family that had been sat with drinks and they seemed annoyed that no one was around. Another gentlemen was standing by the bar waiting as well. We waited 5 minutes then walked out. It’s a shame because it was a neat looking Irish pub. Didn’t see a soul working there, not even behind the bar.
This place truly stinks. The server, while sweet, forgot several details of our order so we were left waiting. One person in our group didn't receive their food until everyone else was halfway done eating. When it came time for the check to arrive, we noticed our cocktails were not on the check. We thought it was a nice gesture due to our poor experience. Upon picking up my payment, the server preceded to bring another copy of the check with the drinks on it. To top it all off, a gratuity was added for our party of 5 people. Typically parties of 6 or more would have a gratuity added to the bill. Nonetheless, it was a disappointment of an experience and the food was mediocre at best.
We had 4 different dishes and everything wasn't very nice. Rack of ribs was dry and flavourless. The beefburgers were the same, low quality. The philly cheese steak sandwich was just a mashed up burger in a French stick, and the mushrooms burger was the same.
Food is an average 3/5. But they get a 1 overall because they added an auto-tip to a $54 ticket with a two person table. $70+ for a average meal in an "Irish" pub that couldn't even play recorded Irish music? It's giving "95% of our patrons are tourists that will just take it and we don't care". I'm not a tourist and don't plan on ever coming back.
This place has really gone downhill. Sticky tables, ripped seats, grubby cutlery, sauce bottles sticky, and grubby. The bar area is tired and worn, and the brass pump area for the beers looks like it hasn't been cleaned for years. The guy that works in the bar looks like he sleeps and works in his clothes. Trousers so long dragging on the floor and ripped. Matted beard, I was extremely shocked when we returned here. 9 pm, and we were the only 3 people in here. It used to be packed in here and a really busy, fun, vibrant pub. On previous holidays, we would pop in every night for a night cap. This time, we only went twice because it was so awful. Now it's dirty, dull, and looks like squatters have lived in there. Also, I hated the fact that the barman automatically puts 10% on your bill! It should be my choice if I want to tip you. Please think about renovation and some bubbly upbeat staff! This place could be a little goldmine again!
Well, staying at Lake Buena Vista Resort, watched the fireworks from our rooms tonight and then walked over to this Irish Pub for dinner, party of 8. Walked in 5 minutes ago, 9:35 pm and employee said “we are only doing to go orders, closing in 20 minutes”. Mind you, google says they close today on Saturday at 10:30 pm. Never going to give them another try. So lame!
We thought we'd give this place a go because it was next to my wife's work. As locals, it's fun to try the touristy places once in a while. This is no Irish pub. Not only are there TV's, the fare is, outside of shepherds pie, not Irish in the slightest. It's more of a dark-themed restaurant with a small bar attached. It was kind of expensive to begin with, but it is a tourist-focused place so we expected it. If you order water you get premium quality Florida tap water which tastes a bit like swamp water with a hint of sulfur. Lemon tends to cut it down enough to fix the flavor, but we had to wait 25 minutes for it and even then it looked like someone had pre-chewed the lemon for us. The tacos were great. Irish tacos maybe? Last, when we got the check, the waiter hadn't caught on that we were locals and thought that we were international tourists and threw in a 20% tip on a meal for two people. He then tried to defend it by saying that it's customary in America to just add it on (it isn't) and then said it was a regional thing in Florida because of the theme parks once he realized we were American (that's also a lie). When the final bill came I saw that the mysterious charge had been removed. That's when I explained that we were onto him. We gave him a 10% tip to honor his hustle but will never be back and we are actively warning others that this place gouges tourists and provides a worse experience than any chain restaurant that can be reached in a 5 minute Uber ride from the hotel its attached to. I strongly recommend going anywhere else, unless you don't mind paying more for mediocre food than you need to, getting forced to pay for a tip that's undeserved, and allowing the restaurant to think they've gotten away with it.
Floor sticky, added a tip for a pickup order.. Turkey wrap not very good. I only order from there because it was attached and there aren't many options close by.
Place was a dump visited there around five years ago last time we visited Lake beuna VIsta and i dont think the place has been cleaned since. This place is in desperate need of a refurb or a decent cleaner. Food was terrible.
I ordered a reuben sandwich. I hated it, my husband got a burger and said it was as dry as the heel of a shoe. I'd never go back!
