World famous for a good reason the treats are delicious the staff are all very friendly everyone loves it! The students always make sure they get their treats on the fistday and they always makes sure they get some ice cream before they leave for summer! Bev's is a hit for all ages and all types of people from young to old! If you are in the area I would definetly stop by before your trip ends!

Always fun visiting Bev's. Their ice cream is worth the line! They have HUGE portions too. A large could honestly fill three people (not that I'm complaining!)

I LOVE BEVS! I have been in Oswego for 16+ years, and when I was younger, my parents always told me “if you’re good, we can go to bevs”. And I was always so excited! There are so many toppings, and flavours! And a variety of soft vs hard ice creams 😋 Not to mention the view of Ontario is beautiful! I love bevs!

A very short wait and a massive selection of hard ice creams from Perry’s Ice Cream, soft serve, and Dole Whip. It was nice to hang out next to the water on a nice day and enjoy a cone of chocolate vanilla twist. I would recommend this on a nice day or after going to Rudy’s right down the street.

If I could give this place a 1000000/5 I would. I am lactose intolerant and I will easily ignore my stomach issues just to have ice cream from Bev's!! There is something about their ice cream that is amazing, like nothing in NYC can compare to this place. Once I leave for the semester, I am going to miss this place the most!!! Love their customer service, they are so friendly each time my friends and I go and the ice cream always hits the spot. Red Velvet ice cream is my go-to and no one can tell me otherwise! Please come here at least once when you're in Oswego, you will not regret the decision!!

OUTSTANDING! OMG, Perry's ice cream is so amazing. Then to take it to another level- Bev's has wonderful seating outside- with the beautiful view of the Lake. As a side treat, I purchased a child's Dole Whip cone and was instantly transported to Disney World. Delicious!! Service is top-notch and friendly. What an oasis!

Wow, I got a SMALL hard chocolate cone, and it was huge. The ice cream was packed all the way to the bottom of the cone, too.. Said I couldn't finish it, but I did anyway. Oops! Delicious. The young woman who waited on us was very nice and friendly.

Absolutely amazing! They have good ice cream good views and good service! Sometimes the lines are long but worth it for the ice cream! Me and my family go every year after Rudy’s and it never gets old I love the view of the lake as well. And the prices are nice and low.

Being in the area for college over the years, it’s always a good experience. They had mint soft serve at one point this year which was absolute heat, should make it a permanent flavor. Can’t wait for summer night walks from campus for a tasty flurry!

Bev's is an institution! As a SUNY Oswego graduate, going back to Bev's when I took my neice for move in brought back great memories of fun times! The ice cream has always been delicious and the setting can't be beat. This time, I had the pineapple Dole Whip - so refreshing on a hot day! Service is friendly and leaving a tip was energetically appreciated. The prices are so reasonable, it is easy to be generous with tips. I'm betting students work there since it is less than a half mile from campus (depending on where you are, but from Cayuga/Oneida/Seneca/Onondaga). Beware of seagulls! And bring a camera for pics in the oversized chair, the lake and the spectacular sunsets. Yum!

Yummy soft ice cream, friendly fast service and puppies to watch. What more could one ask? Oh yeah, they tossed in a magnificent view of the afterglow of sunset over Lake Ontario and the bright moon in the opposite side of the sky as we returned to our car.

Definitely some good ice cream here folks. Prices aren't outrageous and it's the perfect walking distance for anyone on the Oswego campus. There can be quite a line at peak hours, so if you're looking for a quick treat then definitely plan around that.

Just like your regular local ice cream shop but cheaper and more efficient service. The view is to die for and super cheap prices is what stands Bevs out from all the others

So many Perry's flavors of hard serve to choose from! Even specifically gluten free. Took my son, and two of his friends, didn't break the bank just for the experience, and had delicious ice cream.

Bev's is another Oswego staple alone with Rudy's that you must visit. Do yourself a favor and take the family to this gem on the lakeshore. I took my family there today. My youngest dropped her ice cream and the lady at the window have her a new one for free. Great service! The temperature was in the 90s and after eating our ice cream we waded into the lake to cool off. What a great place!

Don't pass this little gem by! Had some of the BEST soft serve ice cream ever there -- one of the few places we've been that goes beyond just vanilla and chocolate. Had strawberry and raspberry swirled together. Yum! Two generously sized "smalls" were only $5 and served with a smile. Picnic tables are right on the edge of the lake, can walk down to the rocks. Delightful breeze and wonderful view!

Great place for a variety of ice cream (soft serve & hard packed), sundaes, and shakes. Outside seating (plenty), or bring your own chairs with wonderful views of Lake Ontario. The staff was very friendly and helpful. While I waass in line, the guy before me had taken a lock of his cone & it fell over into his hand. The girl offered to make him another but he said it was fine. The staff was very accommodating as regards to what I wanted to order. I would recommend it for everyone and will be returning.

Nostalgic ice cream stand with Beautiful location on Lake Ontario. Great customer service and employee was attentive and patient. Ice cream was great, lots of flavors, and even dairy free options. I like that there was a "new to us" picnic table area to sit at that had outdoor lighting for the evening. We went down by the lakeshore after and skipped rocks into the water. Use caution, uneven rocky ground going down to the lake. Rudy's restaurant is within a very short walking distance, so Bev's cream makes an accessible after dinner treat! Would come again for cold ice cream treats in the summer months.

This is a unique place to go for ice cream. While Perry's ice cream is featured you can ask them to make your serving unique. I love the orange creamsicle milkshake. But the Sundays are just as good. You love to come to Bev's because you can sit at a table and look at Lake Ontario and the lighthouse and just relax. My experience with the staff here is that they are just the nicest people.

One of my absolute favorite places to grab an ice cream cone after a good meal at Rudy's. Watch the sun set or go for a little walk by the water. Great views. Good tasting ice cream but expect to wait in line. There will be a lot of people in line no matter what day or time but that is the experience of Bev's. Waiting in line deciding what kind of ice cream you want. The twists are so good. I especially love the mint twist, pumpkin pie, and other limited flavors. They are unique and delicious. I haven't tried the shakes or splits or chocolate covered waffle cones but it all looks amazing. I'm so glad I live close to this amazing ice cream shop!

Had a great time here getting ice cream for the family. Surely everyone can find something to enjoy, as there are more flavors than you'd like to count. They had many sundae options and were flexible on the substitutions. Prices were reasonable and slightly lower than most ice cream places. They also have multiple flavors of Dole whip which is a real treat. The spot by the lake allows the kids to throw rocks in the water while you enjoy your ice cream and watch the sunset. Great little spot.

Delicious ice cream options at an idyllic location along the water. You could spend quite a while here enjoying your ice cream and watch in the waves. There must be over 60 different ice cream flavors, many never seen anywhere else. The custard is creamy and satisfying, and best enjoyed in a chocolate dipped waffle cone :) Portion sizes and prices are just right, and service was fast and friendly.

Great local ice cream spot! Many things to choose from so we asked "what was their most popular treat?" It's the soft serve twist in a sugar cone of course:) Can't go wrong there! Their sign still says 'cash only' and there is an ATM around the corner, however they do have a card reader now. We enjoyed our cones on the bench facing Lake Ontario. That view makes the ice cream just a little more enjoyable!

Overall a great local Ice cream joint, but having simplified menus and it all in one location instead of all around the windows would make ordering faster and more efficient.

Delicious ice cream treats with lakeside seating at a reasonable price point. I love the nut crunch sprinkles, which bring me back to childhood, but many of my friends and family members prefer the flavored dips for a similar reason. The also have a strawberry/black raspberry soft serve twist, which is a flavor sensation. Con: There is no bathroom.

Bevs is a staple in the City of Oswego. Close to the college, and right on the coast of lake Ontario. Beautiful sunsets and a great place to enjoy an ice cream!

Always have loved bevs and go frequently. Flavors are great and empl are friendly and accommodating. I get a strawberry shortcake every year. It has always been perfect with a fluffy home made buttermilk biscuit warm and cut in half with berries ice cream and whipped cream. They have ruined it by cutting corners with domestic kind of cheap biscuits that was flat, and has a terrible burnt taste. Also the paper bowl barely stood up to the dish it was about to collapse . Please go back to the good high fluffy biscuits!!! Price has gone up, quality down.

Love location but ice cream sundaes are going down in size. Last couple times ice cream didnt fill dish or come much above rim. Maybe they were training someone I dont know. But I bought a large sundae and even the person with me asked what happened to size? They were always my go to place. So I'll still always go there. They are very popular place in Oswego and plenty of parking!!😉

There is no excuse to being late, your hours do not change. You should be there for the other employees at least 10 to15 mins early. ( my opinion ) Other wise the Shake and ice cream we ordered was delicious.

Totally disappointing. I have been coming here for 35 years and by far the worst experience when we ordered mediums we got cones that had less ice cream than most Smalls. Especially considering their prices are higher and the woman made my ice cream so it was out over the edge of the cone and even after I mentioned it to her she didn't get me another one I will not be returning.

Called to ask a question about their ice cream, was told "No" and was hung up on. Over priced pre-made ice cream, seems to have a cult like follow-ship.

Just went tonight and got a small flavor burst and a small chocolate twist with sprinkle. Had to repeat each 3 times to the girl at the window who was trailing off at the end of her sentences like she was under the influence of something. Then she must've put it into the register wrong (after writing it down) because there's no way I should've paid 9$ for the 2 baby size small icecreams I got.
