Amazing as well as kind staff, and a calm atmosphere unlike most locations. I plan on this being a consistent spot whenever i need a cheap but delicious lunch!
Stopped in today for some quick breakfast. Very busy, but drive thru moved well. Kiersten in the drive thru is very friendly. Service was prompt, food hot and coffee very tasty. Nice job.
They actually had fresh fries when you ask for them. Not like others that quickly re-fry the old ones and think we can't taste the difference. Even during dinner time they kept the drive thru moving smooth.
The drive through was pretty busy but it was worth the wait.
I didnt think I wanted to go back to that drive through after being in that line for 40 min. I did talk to someone who explained what happened and I completely understood. After dropping my clients order off I came back for my wife and our two dogs lol. She gave them pup cups, she was so awesome. Absolutely the best and most friendliest service I have ever experienced....thank you so much Michelle, you should get a raise.
Found out that they have different menu items like the daily double and double fish sandwich I got both and were pretty good the service was slow but I bet they were just short on staff which is understandable. All the food we got was pretty good and the way we ordered it thanks Cory miss ya bud

I’ve been using this location frequently for mobile orders and lunch, they deal with a higher volume of customers better than the other location in Oswego. Both locations have been good with fresh food but I prefer this location due to proximity to work.
They are understaffed. The people that work there are great. There aren't enough of them. If you see three cars in the Drive-Thru line count on at least 10 minutes sometimes 15. The food is cooked well. I have never had any problems with any of the food. If the store would hire more people, I would stop by more often. Twice in the last week I have driven off without getting my food because I sat at the window for 10 minutes, and all i was getting was a double cheeseburger.
This McDonald's needs to have better service. No napkins , no ice in machine. Lines inside and outside were soo long took half hour

They always mess up your orders but they are a few workers really trying their best while other crew members don't give a crap. Food is not good
Today makes several times I have been here where they appear to just be blatantly ignoring the drive-thru line. The first few times I just left, but this time I decided to go inside. Service inside was fine. I would say they should have someone run out and hang up a sign telling people to go inside, but I get a feeling they are just really hoping people will get frustrated and leave.
This McDonald's seems to have difficulty finding people who are pleasant. They all seem miserable and disconnected.
The service is often very very slow. I have experienced waiting for 30 minutes in the drive thru due to a problem they were having. No one apologized or offered to comp any of my food or acknowledged my inconvenience in any way. Just tonight, I placed an order through the app (the savings in the app are quite good, so points for that). When I arrived, I wanted to add another sandwich, but was told I could not. So then I asked to place a separate order, and was refused because of their new "one order per car" policy. It was one sandwich and would have taken another 30 seconds. Very disappointed.
I am never super impressed with this location. It always takes forever to get food. This is not dependent on whether there are tons of customers or not. The crew is never rude. They are doing what they can. They always seem short staffed. They are just working with what they can. I've been there. You make the best of what you can. I don't want this to reflect badly on them. 9/10 they get the orders right. Sometimes things slip through or get messed up. When the orders are right, it is just like any other typical McDonalds. You know what you are getting into. I wouldn't recommend stopping if you are in a big rush. I know it is in a good spot, but it will take you quite awhile to get you food. Inside or drive-thru doesn't matter.
Store is nasty, food is always cold and 60% of the time wrong. There is one team that works there if they're on then you have a good chance of getting your food Hot and Correct.
Basic McDonalds atmosphere and food, but they're extremely slow and ignore people who try to order or point out errors. This was experienced with the evening staff.

It has been my experience that throughout the past several years the food has never tasted like it did before. I believe the staff is doing their best to deliver food that meets or exceeds corporate standards. Unfortunately, from a taste perspective it no longer is appealing to me. I will admit though, that I only eat from McDonald's once or twice a year, and this limited sample size may not be enough to offer a fair assessment of McDonald's.
Attention to detail, customer service and professionalism from employees and management is very lacking. It typically takes 2 - 3 attempts for a custom sandwich to be made correctly and each time mistakes are brought to their attention, one hears much complaining under their breath. We have an autistic child, he will only eat a specific sandwich made a very particular way... even removing the unwanted items before presenting him the sandwich, somehow he knows and such begins an emotional breakdown based on his autism. This must be a training McDonald's. Very slow service. If you're pinched for time, don't go here. Stop at another one. Even if you order in side or curb side. Service is slow. Last week, 40 min, wait for something very simple.
Have been going here a long time and they have never managed to improve the service. Unacceptable wait times in the drive thru (occasionally over 20 minutes), no service inside the restaurant, unmaintained dining room, and orders are almost always missing items. If they’re going to turn the restaurant into a DoorDash food factory they could at least do everyone else the favor of closing the drive thru and dining room that they very clearly no longer care about. Not that it solves the order accuracy, that’s still consistently bad through DoorDash.
Absolute garbage, you expecting me to pay more with this extremely slow service. Do not go to this McDonalds, they are slow. God Awful Service, 4 times I have been here and end up leaving because Im not waiting 30 minutes just for a cheeseburger. Go to the McDonalds to the East side and avoid the west side. Pisses me off.
Last time I came here at 10pm and they closed early even though they say they’re open til 11pm online. Tonight I came and thankfully they were open but not only was their ice cream machine down (shocking I know) but their lemonade machine was down too. Don’t come, always disappointed. The staff here is just awful. The managers here have no clue on what they are doing. Every time I come here crowds or not I just sit there and watch them move around like wild zoo animals. No communication with each other at all. Only time this McDonald’s is running alright is when the younger male manager is working the older ladies all they do is yap to each other with their large cokes in hand. And if you have a question they just continue with there side convos. Corporate really needs to investigate this place
The wait was crazy. 30+ Min. Girl was eating MY FRIES with her fingers. Absolutely disgusting. On top of waiting 40 minutes for a mobile order I watched a lazy teenager pick from my food I paid for. Congrats Oswego your the absolute worst.
Everyone I go to mcdonals something is either cold and old or burnt. I just went and got lunch and 2 frappas and there both just liquid. The phone number on Google is just ringing no one will pick up. I never call and complain but now I'm sick and tired of my hard earned money going into the trash. This company needs to make it right
Just a fair warning, McDonald’s on the west side is terrible! My boyfriend and I went today ordered on the mobile app only ordered a slushie, McFlurry, and 2 pies!!! We have been waiting for almost 40 minutes. They made his McFlurry and left it on the counter for most of this time! My boyfriend declined it after they tried serving it to him anyways. Yes there is a sign that says they’re short staffed but if it’s gonna be this bad they need to start hiring people this minute! Keep in mind there was about 3 people in line and drive through is empty. Also the guy working declined service to two different couples!!!!!
Waited 15 min for my food. Gave me cold strawberry pies for me and my daughter and her hamburger had no pickles. I asked them for warm pies they gave me two so hot I couldnt eat them and when I tried I burned my mouth. They text fire equipment during lunch hour. Never coming back
If I could give less stars I would. Do not recommend. Sandwiches are sent out in "deli bags" and are crushed. The fries were so bad it was like they cooked them 5 times. Absolutely disgusting!
Rude drive-thru workers, and they close early whenever they feel like it
Half an hour in drive thru for a Caramel Frappe. It took a very long time to send the customer at the window to park because their order was taking longer than expected.
Make sure you check your bag before leaving. This place is guaranteed to mess something up. Forget about your order. Or keep you waiting 20-40 minutes. Food is usually cold or overcooked. Not a very good place to go.
My husband us an Uber driver, and had customers ask him to stop so they can get food. They go through the drive threw and the customers order their food and were asked to pull ahead. They waited for over 25 minutes for their order. Finally the associate comes out with their food and they ask to speak to a manager and the associate said I am and there's nothing I can do for you, not my fault our machines are down and walked away. The associate was very rude and should have done something for these customers. Will NEVER BRING CUSTOMERS THERE EVER AGAIN. CALLING CORPORATE TOMORROW. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE
We waited outside for over 20 minutes after ordering for mobile pick up. We finally went inside and they said they were waiting for us to get there even though we had already put in our spot number. Our McFlurrys were half melted because they made them and put them on the counter.
Food always comes out cold, waiting at counter for 10+ minutes waiting to be served, always missing stuff from doordash and drive thru orders.Prices are becoming insane for what you can get. Corporate needs to come take a good look at this place since they're lying on their speed times.
We ordered in we were given a to go bag with 1 food order missing. Stale food. They lacked management. Floors covered in soda, garbage untaken care of. Garbage on tables. As well as huge amount of lines which didn't get order until a half hour later. This place is a heaven for a raccoon looking for a dumpster to eat out of. Not for people. Heck the raccoon would probably rate it 1 star for lack of edible things.
30 min wait in drive through
Very poorly managed. I watched customers come inside to order and after 5 plus minutes of waiting to even be acknowledged they walked out. Meanwhile all the teens in the back were standing around laughing/talking ridiculously loud for a workplace. Customer service at this location is the absolute worst. I mentioned that customers had walked out and was given a typical teen response of, "oh". And that was it. Do NOT come here expecting a good experience, you definitely won't get one.
Gave us stale food. Forgot half of our order. Messy floors that were sticky. Lack of organization. Machines were all broken or out of order. They were serving about 50 people over a half hour or longer for some of these individuals. They had sticky tables as well.
Absolutely dissatisfied. We have been coming to this location for years, on MOTORCYCLES, with absolutely no issues. Well this particular night we were told by “Adam” management, that motorcycles will not be served at this location. Well, with this being a pandemic, the inside not being open, and never EVER hearing at any other location or fast food establishment that motorcycles will not be served. Well it’s in the eyes of the STATE is a motor vehicle! So being a tax payer, and holding a drivers license, and being told after we already paid for our food that we would be served this time, but not again was disappointing. So I called the establishment, asked to speak to a District or Branch Manager to gain a better understanding of why motorcyclist will no longer be served at this establishment? I was told my “Adam” the “manager”, he was not able to give out any information or means to contact anyone. He also could not tell me “when this rule started”. I left my Name, telephone number, and was told I would be contacted. Here we are two weeks later, I have not been contacted, by anyone. So I will attempt to reach out to corporate; if this rule is true, I guess it should be posted and I will make sure my fellow motorcyclists steer clear of such this particular establishment.
Place is a complete mess, employees move at a snails pace and are super rude. Clearly under the influence of pot 99% of the time and in my years of being in this town I've NEVER goten every item from my order. I got handed a bag full of napkins once no joke
This location is no longer 24/7. Even during their new hours, I have been told that they wouldn’t be serving for another 15 minutes. They are slow and extremely inefficient. I recently received an order of cheese burgers but the forgot to put the meat on it! Orders are wrong and employees spend more time talking to each other than actually working. Very disappointed and worth the drive across town to the other one.
The new seating area is uncomfortable and the old booths were better. The bench seats dig into your back but maybe you want your customers unconfortable so they will not stay too long. The service was no better which makes me believe the cleanliness will go back to what it was before....bad.
I went inside as the drive thru was 8 deep. Even with no one else in line they forgot part of my order. The fries were cold, and the big mac that looked like my 5 year old niece put it together not to mention the bun was stale, dry and crumbly.
I ordered a Deluxe Crispy Chicken sandwich, a crispy chicken sandwich and two apple pies. Got home, and the deluxe has no tomatoes. Called the store. Josh - the manager on duty - says "oh, sorry, we forgot to tell you we have no tomatoes" I asked if they were going to do anything about it. That smug little jerk goes "nope. I don't have tomatoes to give you and you already ate it so I can't give you a refund." I said "I haven't eaten it. So will you give me a refund if I bring it right back?" "No. I won't give you a refund. There's nothing I can do for you." I am not eating this sandwich. Had I know there were no tomatoes i would have ordered something different. So if you want your sandwich to not come the way it is advertised on their sign, and then have their manager refuse to take the sandwich back and give you a refund, while being spoken to in a rude and condescending manner,, then this is your place. Personally, I think this is unacceptable. The business did not provide the sandwich that was advertised, and then their employee refused to correct the problem. This is bad form for business.
Just waited 27 minutes in the dining room for take out. I ordered a large sweet tea, large strawberry banana smoothie and a quarter pounder. 3 gtoups of people that ordered behind me received there food first. After the second group received there's before me I said something. The individual behind the counter looked to see if they had my order, as rhe kiosk printed no receipt. They did have my order and advised me they were waiting on a quarter pounder. I said, "are you kidding me". This is unacceptable... Can McDonald's really still claim to be fast food? McDonald's you need to get it together....
Terrible place to go for food, takes forever to get your food, the food always seems half assed. And they never bring the food out to you like they're supposed to. The worst mcdonald's i have ever been to
Normally I would have little to no expectations for McDonalds because you pretty much know what you're getting into, but this location is a cut below the rest. Managed and staffed by children who can't be bothered to provide a reasonable level of service or cleanliness or any pride in their work apparently. If you do risk dining here stick to the drive through: ensure you have ample time in your schedule, double check your order, and keep your receipt.
Not plowed people saying they rather be out in the cold to get home rather than doing the job gave me food almost cold hardly done and not done right had several buggers plan but the buggers were not plan only the fries were warm and it's not the frist time been in a few times in the past week and both times have been gross people given me half cold food or food that is not made right rather talk about going home not doing the job and half .... For fast food the food quality is sometimes ok other times not so much. I've had my food be cold and not hot like it should be. Even at later hours when it's not busy it seems to take way longer then it should be. Some of the workers are very rude when speaking to me and it's very unappreciated I am just a paying customer trying to get some fast food not slow cold food. Really been contemplating not going here anymore until the service and food quality has improved.
My friend made the curbside order for us. We waited 45 min in the car. She went inside asked for a manager was spoken to very rudely. They said they hadn't even gotten the order so her and her daughter waited in line while I was in waiting in the car for 30 min. When we got home the quarter pounder was made wrong and we were missing a fry.
The staff seemingly can’t tell the difference between sausage and bacon. Every time we order breakfast it’s a 50-50 chance weather it’ll be correct or not. It’s abysmal. They ruin breakfast all the time. Edit: also, it’ breakfast closes too early & it messes up on doordash all the time, they should go back to all day breakfast

Probably one of the worst McDonald’s I have ever been to. 30 minutes waiting in the drive through, handed half of my food and then another 5 minutes waiting for the girl to come to the window and rudely say to someone inside “why is this car still here?” And then come to the window and ask “what are you waiting for?” I say the rest of my order and then I’m handed a bag that everything inside is cold. Pathetic.

First time going to this Mcdonalds and I want to say they have very poor service. I went through the drive-thru to get my kids Happy meals and I have the bad tendency of just leaving when I get my food without checking. Two minutes away from there I start passing them their happy meals and one of them was missing the toy (currently the crocs). What’s the point in me buying a happy meal for my kids if it doesn’t come with the toy? I went back and told the lady we were missing the toy for one of them and she said to wait until she asked what could be done, like really? She then tells me to go to the next window to grab it and they hand me one of those old hello kitty toys. Now I can’t even hand them to my kids because they would be fighting over who got what
Most of the time they take over an hour, especially after 5 pm. They prioritize door dash over everything as well. It’s super annoying
This place has some of the slowest employees I have ever seen anywhere. It’s pretty sad when it takes over 30 minutes to go through the drive thru line. I could have gone to ruby tuesdays and been out in the time it took them to get my food in the drive thru. If I would at this location I would be embarrassed.
Service is excessively slow. Multiple times now I have stood at the counter for atleast 30 minutes and no one approaches me. They walk right past everyone and act as if we aren't here. They move slow and screw up orders often. Very poor service.

Absolute worst experience ever at McDonald’s - swearing by staff
I was on my way home from a long day at work, and I'm just tired and want to eat. I pull into the drive-thru, and I must have sat there for nearly ten minutes. Nobody bothered to greet me at the speaker. Wondering if maybe there is an issue, I decided to pull up to the window. Once again, nobody greeted me. The employees did look at me and clearly saw me, but made zero attempts to greet me at all. As a manager who works in retail, I find it both unacceptable and quite disturbing that such behavior could be tolerated. I called the number on the window, but of course, you guessed it, nobody answered. I left a message, but in my experience, they never call back. I ended up just taking my business elsewhere. This is just pitiful, and they need to do better!
Super slow here. No one moves fast. Manager is always hiding. Helen Keller can do better. Avoid this place. I spoke with the person that owns this store before. Always excuses, was never given compensation for my order being completely wrong. Avoid here.
3/12/24 I ordered a large fry on the app sent a friend to pick it up at the drive-thru as they were already going to order for their self when they got to the speaker they gave the code to pick it up then proceeded to order their own food and was told they need to drive around the building and start all over mind you my frys were already done. Needless to say they never placed said order. This is a complete failure in customer service and the manager that told the employee to do this needs to be replaced. Order #MQ17-4752834
The food is so-so but way over priced. Healthy subs would have been much cheaper and better tasting. They have lost sight of the original concept of value food for the family that all families can afford. It's what made them so popular. Just tried them again and had to wait over 15 minutes in my car to finally get my food. I had to repeat my order at the first window so the girl knew what I was paying for (probably because of the backup of cars) yet when I got home all that was in the bag was french fries, which were cold, when I had ordered a whole meal!! I called right away but was told I had to come back to get my money back. Great, another trip there to wait in line forever to get my refund. I'm never going there again.

I normally do not leave reviews, good or bad but!!!! We order as a group from work and constantly have missing items. This gets very frustrating as we have called the store numerous times but this is still happening. This time my missing item was my whole meal except the french fries. If you call them they put your name down in a book for them to credit you the next time you come in. They really need to try better at getting orders together.
If you're looking for decent food, look elsewhere but if you're looking for consistency then this is the place for you. The food here is consistently AWFUL. Doesn't matter what time of day it is, the food will be stale, overcooked, and inedible. They maybe change the fryer grease once a month so the fries taste rancid and reuse meat patties from the day prior so your burgers are chewy, hard around the edges, and just taste off. This place should be torn down and replaced with literally anything else.
Worst McDonald’s I’ve been to and my expectations for McDonald’s are low. Burgers came out decent, fries were stale, and items were missing but I can tolerate and expect that from McDonalds. What I cannot tolerate is the “service” I got. I arrive there and the drive through speaker is down with a note says pull up to first window, not a big deal so I pull up to the first window and wait 15 minutes nobody comes to it so I think maybe they meant the window labeled 1 but is the 2nd window so I pull up to that one and after someone is given food through it I am told I need to go back around to the other window. I ask if I can just get my order there because I placed a mobile order and am rudely told no and they shut the window, so I go around to the original window and tell them my mobile order code they wave me through and then I wait at the other window for 10 minutes till they hand me the drink for my order and tell me that the rest will be out in a minute 5 more minutes and it’s out……and the orders wrong but whatever I’m done at this point

I ordered through the app. 2 hamburger happy meals WITH cheese, along with 2 freeze drinks. Aside from the STUPID and UNNECESSARY wait time (this isn't the 1st time with them), my children didn't have ketchup, pickles, OR cheese on their burgers and NO drinks were delivered either. DO BETTER! I ordered curbside once as well from 20min away, got there still waited another 20 min, went inside where yet again waited this time 15 min. Absolutely ridiculous. The west side mcdonalds has been nothing but terrible in ALL ASPECTS. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Issue everytime at this place. I order 2 fries, 2 chick wraps and 2 McDoubles and a shake ……that’s 2 McDouble cheeseBURGERS. Look in the bag see everything there, cool. Get home, 2 wraps, 2 fries, shake, and 2 buns with pickles cheese and condiments, oh wait sorry…..cheese on one of them not on the other……..how do you miss 4 whole burger Pattie’s on 2 burgers on an order so small and simple wrap them and all. And how do you put cheese on one empty bun but not the other. Everything was #2 except the shake. $25 for half our meals. Thx. Step your game up it’s a joke.
I ordered hot cakes and sausage today and nothing else, and I was pulled ahead in drive thru and had to wait 7 minutes for them to come out. Completely unacceptable "fast food" if I wanted to wait i would have went to a diner

NO ICE CREAM I DONT HAVE MY ICE VREAM I WANTED IT IT WAS FREE BUT I STILL WANT IT IT WOULDVE BEEN SO YUMMY IN MY TUMMY BUT NOOOOOOOOOO NO ICE CREAM FOR MEEEEEE HOW LONG WOHLD I HAVE HAD TO WAIT I COULDVE BEEN THERE FOR AN HOUR BUT WHY ITS JUST ICE CREAM IT COMES FROM A MACHINE JUST TAKE THE CONE I SAW THE CONES THEY WERE RIGHT THERE JUST TAKE EM AND PUSH THE THING AND GET THE ICE CREAM AND GIVE IT TO ME J WANTED IT ICE CREAM MACHINE GO GJRRRRRR AND ICE CREAM COME OUT IT TAKE 10 SECONDS AT MOST IT WOULDNT HURT THISE PEOPLE IN THE DRIVE THROUGH I JUST WANTED MY ICE CREAM I HOPE THEYRE CLOSING TONIGHT AND LOOK AT MY RECEIPT AND GO HEY I DONT THINK I GAVE THAT PERSON THEIR ICE CREAM AND THEN THE MANAGER FIRES THEM AND THEN GIVES A NO ICE CREAM CARD SO THEY DONT EVER GET ICE CREAM EVER AHAIN BECAUSE THATS WHAT THEY DESERVE. I WANT. MY. ICE CREAM.
Waited in line between order taker, window and window. Over 30 mins for a simple fast food order. More like slow food. Food wasnt even hot. Like, come on. This location needs to be investigated. Very bad location. Do NOT come here. Additional photos: 8/3/25. Waiting over 20 mins for a simple order. Only 2 people working. Drive through is out into the road. Manager sitting down in office. Avoid this location. Managers dont help staff and blame everyone here. Heard a manager complain orders are not fast enough.
This McDonalds is horrible. I’m a dasher and I literally wait an hour every time I come here. I tried to order food here once got ignored for 10-15 minutes then after I had already left that’s when they answer the drive thru and they were not even busy.
NOT 24/7!! UPDATE: as of 7/26, figure I give this place a try again after 3 months, still not any better. Hours have changed, the store itself does not take phone calls, it goes to the 'owner'. The owner will not compensate wrong or missing food. Avoid here now at all costs. Also they do not hand back receipts. I ask why, one girl was honest, it affects our scores. Wow. No thanks. Losing a customer for good. Additional update: added new photo of times. Even though they close at "11pm", they really close at 10pm and stop taking orders. This location is NOT 24/7.
food is mediocre at best. service is terrible. sat in there for almost an hour waiting for food multiple times! even when there is very few people in there (like 2-5 people). the tables and floors are never clean. absolutely disgusting. some workers are extremely rude! they either ignore you or watch you wait at the counter for several minutes before taking your order.
Waited 25 minutes for 2 large fries and a soda. They by the time they came to help, they lost our order and forgot to take our card until after we got the food. Mind you we were the only car in the drive through
Do not go here! The buns are always stale, the patties are always cold and chewy and taste like they're at least 2 days old, the fries always taste like they were fried in motor oil. Service is hit or miss, there is an equal chance that you are either waiting forever or get your food quickly but it doesn't matter how long it takes or what time of day you go, the food is always terrible. You can be the first person in line after breakfast service ends and your burger will still be rock hard and ice cold - likely something leftover from the night before! The edges of the burger patty will be crunchy and the inside rubbery. It's worth the extra effort to go to the McDonald's by the race track. Probably same ownership but different staff, and the difference in quality is like night and day. Everyone that runs and works at this location should be fired and replaced. The absolute lack of effort is actually impressive.
So.....I asked the manager at the East Side McDonald's why they dont clean the play area for the kids. His response was "We clean it all the time, I'm not seeing any issues." So I brought him in and showed him the issues, his response "I don't think it's that bad." I'm not one to complain, however, my daughter was looking forward to this and she was really upset that it looked the way it did. And she refused to play there, which honestly I don't blame her.
