Trattoria del Commercio Oulx Reviews
I had lunch at this restaurant, located a 3-minute walk from the train station in the hotel. The dishes were very refined, the service was quick yet efficient, and the price was excellent. For those who prefer to sit down at a restaurant rather than grab a sandwich, it's perfect while waiting for their train.
A mistake I've corrected! I wasn't familiar with this wonderful little gem in the Susa Valley—across from the Oulx train station—and I can only blame myself. The owner was incredibly kind, as were those who looked after and served us. The dishes were beautiful, but above all, delicious. The wine list is excellent, and there are no complaints, flaws, or weaknesses. Even dogs are welcome! Try it, you'll agree!
Love this restaurant. Great menu. Really close to the train station.
We had lunch at this trattoria while waiting for the bus to Sauze d'Oulx. The experience was overall satisfactory. The place is clean and welcoming, and the staff was friendly. The menu offers typical local options. However, the selection for non-meat eaters is rather limited, which could be improved. In any case, I really enjoyed the bonet, a typical dessert that they make really well here! Overall, a recommended place for those looking for a simple, quality, and affordable meal.
Italian restaurant with a fresh pasta aswell as good meat options. Service was quick and nice. Definitely will come back
Excellent local food, lovely manager, perfect for what we needed.

Good pizza made with a proper oven
Lobster ravioli and slow cooked ox cheek with roast potatoes. Friendly and efficient service with excellent house wine, both white and red. Delightful.

This is now our family tradition, and it’s worth the 7 minutes diversion from the highway between France and Italy, just before or after the Fréjus tunnel depending on where you’re heading. Menu du …
We ate very well: traditional dishes with a balanced dose of modernity, especially in the lighter side. The wine list is extensive and well-priced. Special mention goes to the staff. A kind, attentive, fast, and not servile lady served us: well done, well done!
Lovely friendly place right by the station, manager/owner was lovely and spoke very good English (thank goodness as my Italian is limited). Was just what I needed after a very long and stressful travel day. Price was excellent
The other reviews are correct that this is much fancier than "trattoria" would imply. The quality of ingredients, price, and elegance of the menu put it right on the boundary of fine dining. Service …

Despite having stated during the reservation that there were three of us with a dog, they gave us a very small table against a wall. We ordered some dishes listed on the menu, but unfortunately, after ordering, we heard nearby tables listing off-menu items that weren't offered to us... oh well, we ate... when we confirmed we'd like dessert, they forgot about us, leaving us lingering for over 20 minutes... anyway, the waitress apologized, and we finally managed to order dessert. We weren't thrilled with the first and second courses, but the desserts and ice cream were excellent. Three stars because two seems like too little, but I wouldn't go back.
Nice place. Clean. Good service. Why did they have to ruin it with 1) really bad radio (the last thing I want to listen to are loud and obnoxious radio commercials during ) and 2) plastic-packed balsamic and olive oil? Makes such a mess, and it’s such a pain. Also the Scamorza entre sounded great but was awful: very little over-baked cheese on top of awful-tasting purple cabbage (or something horrible). Didn’t eat it. Also charged some extra 2 euro fee without consent. C’est la vie To be fair, the pork shank was quite good.
Today I stopped at this place, I was passing through. 1) The owner or head waiter has a sour disposition. 2) I ordered a slightly large first course because, looking at the photos in the reviews, I noticed the amount of pasta on the plates was meager. Then I ordered a dessert and a bottle of still water, and they charged me €26.50. The normal first course would have cost €13, but they added a €4 surcharge for the slightly large one. Where I live, €4 for just plain pasta can feed 15 people. The bill seems very high to me, and I don't want to say more. I'm attaching the receipt, so no one can say my review is false. It's a trattoria, and they're probably taking advantage of that because it's located across from the small Oulx train station. In my opinion, this trattoria could go out of business as soon as possible.
Absolutely not recommended for business lunches. We booked a table for 16 for a business lunch. Nice place, business menu consisting of a choice of two first courses (pasta with tomato sauce or arrabbiata) and only one second course (roast chicken with potatoes). For non-meat eaters, there's nothing on the menu, and they offer grilled vegetables with grilled cheese. Quite a long wait for service. The first course arrives: a tiny plate of pasta with tomato sauce, raw and all stuck together. The second course is a measly chicken leg with six pieces of potato, water, coffee without wine, desserts, or an after-dinner drink. Total: €20, for those who only ate the first course: €12. A REAL ROBBERY! Furthermore, when I asked for the ATM receipt, the owner replied annoyed: "And who's going to pay for my POS card?" Never again.
I would not recommend this place , huge error on the bills and they try to trick us because we do not speak Italian :(
