I've been here a few times but I never wrote a review before. In these photos you will see some grilled shrimp that I had with a power bowl that was a special that night. My friend had the cobb salad and my other friend had the crab cakes. They both really enjoyed their dinners.

As a Murphy I have opinions on Irish pubs and I have nothing but good things to say. Service, food, vibe? All were outstanding. Do yourself a favor and stop here.

While staying at the Inn we decided to checked out the pub for an early dinner. The food was just amazing. I started with the Rattle Snake Shrimp and it definitely had some kick, just the right amount of heat and the fresh bacon bits and cheese on it just seals the deal. I had the Bangers and Mash as my main course and it was cooked to perfection with a rough mash on the potatoes made it delicious. For dessert I had the warm Apple pie à la mode, the crust was slightly sweet so combined with the apple filling it was just spectacular. It was one of the best desserts I’ve had in a while. Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area.

A quaint, attractive old building with several well-decorated rooms for dining and a cool bar area. Rooms to rent are upstairs. We sat at the bar and met several local couples who had been there forever and loved our conversation with them. Riley was our bartender and he was just super! We ordered the hot roast beef and the chicken pot pie. Both were delicious! Prices are incredibly reasonable. $5 for a Guinness and $4.25 for a glass of wine. Even the food was very reasonable. This is a great place to come and relax with family or friends!

Honestly, I can’t recommend this place….enough! I’ve had dinner there two nights in a row and the food and service have been great. The bartender, Eron (that’s how he spells it) takes good care of everyone, the pork schnitzel and the chicken pot pie were really well done such that I’d order them again and the crock of onion soup was delicious, too. And you can’t beat $5 pints of Guinness!

Our family had lunch here during Owego’s holiday celebration on a whim. Ordered a few apps and meals and everyone loved their food! Definitely one of the best Rueben’s in town and their French onion soup was on point. We’ll definitely be back.

If you want good comfort food, this is the place. I could have eaten 3 plates of the shepherds pie. Historic old building, bar, with a pretty interesting beer cooler.

The food was delicious & the service was so friendly. My French onion soup was so decadent & the Mac & cheese was straight up comfort food. ☺️

We have been to Dugan House (at Parkview Inn) a few times now and have had excellent service, delicious food, and a lovely time each visit. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for the “snow in April” weather we had today. Paula took care of us today and was incredibly friendly and attentive. It was the first time we brought our kids and they were happy to find familiar favorites on the kids’ menu and a “fancy” sundae for dessert (for $2!). The menu is a nice blend of comfort foods, burgers, sandwiches and more. The fried pickle spears are a hit every time we go and the sweet potato fries came with a tasty sweet sauce my kids loved. We definitely recommend stopping in - it’s a must-keep for the community!

We found the Dugan House on a stop over in Owego. What a pleasure. Every single item we had was fantastic. I had the chicken pot pie. My wife had this stuffed haddock & french onion soup. The best bruschetta I've ever had, including several places in Italy. Prices were very reasonable, nice ambiance, and the staff couldn't have been more personable. Best dining experience we've had in quite some time.

I stopped in for lunch with my Daughter and we had a most wonderful meal! Thanks to Chelsea S. for terrific service and recommendations. I had the Dugan House Burger-fantastic. The bacon jam was over the top. My Daughter had the Cuban sandwich. We shared a very generous portion of onion rings. The Guinness Chocolate cake and coffee was a perfect ending to the lunch. Very reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Phenomenal food and a selection not found in many of the restaurants in the area. Our group enjoyed the Irish Beef Dip Sandwich, Homemade Onion Soup, Dubliner Irish Cheese Crusted & Seafood Stuffed Haddock, Bang Bang Shrimp and Roasted Beets with Balsamic. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was relaxing and laid back. We will definitely be going back.

I came from down south where we have one of the biggest Irish celebrations in the country, so for me to have chosen this restaurant said alot. The food for my group came out alittle slow, but it was well worth the wait and honestly what we expected

We go here a lot! Love everything about this place. The home feel, & the food is always top-notch! We also stop in for a drink here from time to time. Staff is always friendly & helpful. Because it is a popular local spot they do tend to get busy at certain hours, but it is worth the patience to wait.

Had Friday fish. Soup, clam chowder was thicker than I like it. Fish was very good. Cole slaw was also nice. Would probably go again. Fries were a little underdone for me.

There is a nice cozy feeling in the restaurant. It was a busy day since the town had an event going on but we got seated right away. I wanted 3 items off my order but they came on my sandwich anyway. I just decided to eat it instead of complaining. The food was delicious and everyone at my table enjoyed their food. I would go back. I would like to see some more vegan friendly items on the menu,... it's 2025!!

This is a lovely place we were able to check out in Owego, part of the Parkview Inn. We had cups of hot coffee (it was such a cold day), and salads along with french onion soups. We should’ve ended there because, though the french onion crock was a normal size, it is filling. We ordered the shepherds pie (beef) and chicken pot pie. Both of them were ok. The chicken pot pie was a touch better. The shepherds pie is not something I could recommend if you’ve ever made it yourself and forget it if you’ve ever had it in Ireland. I can’t put my finger on why the taste was so generic, possibly the frozen mixed veg of peas, corn, and carrots added in. It was so lacklustre, I’d urge you to get something else. I’m sure they must do a nice burger or wings or something. The soup and the salad were the highlight of the meal. This was truly a let down. The staff are nice and the place looks nice but they don’t have the “pub” thing down at all. McGirk’s does a better Irish fare and let’s be honest, that’s not saying much either.

It was our first visit here, when we walked in there was a "please wait to be seated" sign out but the hostess sort of just stared at us. I asked whether we could sit anywhere and got an odd look and so I went off to the left. The left side was a pub. We sat for a while and it became clear that the bartender was supposed to make the drinks AND take orders for the room. We sat for 10 minutes without even getting menus or being asked if we wanted drinks. So we went to the right side - the restaurant. It took maybe another 10 minutes to get menus here too. Slow service. Food was good but yikes.

First time there was very good. Food was of excellent taste and cooked perfectly. Returned 4 days later (on the way back home) soft, cool sweet potato fries. Overcooked sandwich insides. Bland stuffed haddock. It was as if it were a different restaurant. First meal had us wanting to go back. Second one had us wanting to go elsewhere.

Went with our church group for a night out. I could not have raved more about this establishment to our friends. Oh what a surprise, we where greeted and seated as soon as we walked in, awesome. Our greeter was another wait staff and very pleasant. We informed her that we where short one couple and would wait for them. A few minutes later our waiter arrived and took our drink orders. He delivered our drinks and it was as though someone else took the order, he had no clue as to who had ordered what. When a gentleman in our group inquired about a certain dinner plate, waiter had no idea and stated let me go check. After a substantial wait he came back with a reply. Our missing couple where late so we ordered dinner and 2 other couples asked for drink refills and for the dinner rolls. Also one person in our group was without a table setting and asked for one. Never received. Finally a member of our group went and retrieved placer settings. Food arrived and again no drinks or rolls. Rolls finally showed up about halfway through dinner and to the group’s amazement we received 4 rolls for a group of 10. To top it off the rolls looked like Kings Hawaiian rolls, nothing to be serve in a restaurant. When our waiter did return for drink refills he stated “I am going to reuse your glasses and will try not to mix them up”. When it came payment time our bills where unceremoniously set in our tables without a thank you or when you ready to pay Inwill take your bills. To top it off, when we did finally pay our bills, our waiter was running the cash register and did not look up or say one thank you anyone in our group. He (our waiter), was very unpleasant and unfortunately he received a 20% tip from each couple in our group. Have been going her for years and unfortunately I know of 3 couples in our group who will never step foot in this establishment again. As for my wife and I we will be back, but if this waiter is still there, we will definitely ask for him not to wait on us. Service was HORRIBLE.

Usually meet here once a month for dinner with my mother. Last night was terrible over all. The waitress was condescending. We waited over an hour and twenty minutes for our meal, yet everyone else around us that came in after we did, got their meals before ours. When we did finally got our food both our orders were wrong and the food was cold. We won’t be coming back anytime soon.
