Tony’s Italian Grill Binghamton Reviews
My girlfriend and I spent had our Valentine’s dinner here and it did not disappoint! I got the pappardelle bolognese and she got the penne with red sauce. Both were incredibly delicious and the homemade taste was evident! We had never been before but we’ll definitely be back. Her cherry lime crush cocktail was also fantastic and the heart shaped pasta was an added bonus
Amazing service, some of the best food I’ve ever had. That cheesecake will be my last meal, my fiancé doesn’t even like desserts and he was practically licking the plate clean!!
1-8-2026 we had a delightful meal with delicious food. I enjoyed the Chicken Marsala while others very much liked the Eggplant Parmigian, Lemon Chicken, and Gnocchi. The Tiramizu was fresh and superb. Our waitress, Lizzy, was efficient and friendly.
I’ve never dined in at the location, but I regularly order takeout pizza, and it’s easily one of the best in the area. The pizza is consistently high quality and always ready before I arrive, so pickup is quick and efficient. I’m usually in and out with no wait. I do wish they offered an extra-large pizza option and delivery service, but overall the quality and reliability more than make up for it. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for great pizza.
Second visit there and we had a wonderful lunch. The restaurant was full and there was an 18 top next to us so we expected slower service because of the crowd. Not so. Service was great. Food was good, too! We will go back when we're in the area.
Food was fantastic, tastes just like home. Our server, Jake G. was superb. Our water glasses were never empty, and he had paid attention to every detail. We will be returning, hungry for more delicious food and outstanding service.
Went for a Friday night dinner. I had the chicken Marsala, my companions had pasta with sausage, lemon chicken and ravioli with meatballs. All were good. The restaurant was slow because it was very busy. Drinks to awhile to come as well. We had to wait about a half hour to be seated. The bathroom was clean and they had an Italian language lessons playing while your in there. It was very interesting and fun. I would come again but make reservations beforehand.
I love Tony's! I did not get a picture of my food, but everything was delicious. We went for my sister's birthday and everything was good, the food, the service, the ambiance. Our waiter was very attentive, and went above and beyond by even cutting our cake we brought in (only store bought cakes allowed), and even boxed it back up for us! We will be back soon.
I’ve been driving past Tony’s for years, and I’m so glad I finally decided to try it. The authentic Italian decor, with its charming pergolas and grape vines, creates a cozy and romantic ambiance. The attentive staff made the dining experience even more enjoyable. I opted for the classic chicken parmesan with spaghetti. The rich, tangy sauce clung to the perfectly cooked chicken, while the melted mozzarella cheese stretched with every bite. As the sun set, casting a warm glow on the outdoor seating, the atmosphere became even more magical, making it the perfect spot for a romantic dinner. If you’re looking for a delightful Italian dining experience, I highly recommend giving Tony’s a try.
This was a wonderful experience for us and we found it to be significantly less expensive than the neighborhood average for quality Italian food. The service was excellent and the food was delicious and prompt. They do not take reservations so please be aware when choosing to dine here that there may be a small wait. There is a children’s menu if you need that and a large wine selection.
Excellent Dining Experience! I had not been to Tony's in about 5 years and I thoroughly enjoyed returning. The Salmon Spinach salad (pictured) was outstanding any very reasonably priced. All of the Italian food looked fantastic, I will definitely not skip the Italian specialties next time, I was taken this visit by my love of Salmon. I strongly recommend Tony's and will not wait so long before returning! Special shout out to the outstanding staff: Halie, the very personable, efficient and responsive hostess. And Lizzy who was professional and responsive to our dining needs (Which included recommending the delicious Carrot Cake for desert!)
My experience at Tony's Italian Grill was nothing short of fantastic. We dined in on a relatively busy Wednesday night. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and was very clean during our visit. We received prompt service from our waiter, who was very pleasant and patient as we took our time looking over the menu. Our bruschetta appetizer arrived quickly and was, quite simply, just as delicious as it was nicely presented. The soup d'jour was cream of potato and it did not disappoint. For our entrees we chose the chicken parmesan and lemon chicken over spinach, the latter of which I must very highly recommend as it was a truly fantastic dish! The chicken on both meals were cooked to juicy perfection. Tony's certainly did not disappoint on this visit!
I love their gluten free food. My only complaint is if you eat in you get a phenomenal garden salad with the gluten free pasta meals. I tried to takeout the next time and was told the gluten free meals don't get salads with takeout but you still get charged the same and also there was way less pasta then when I ate in. It is not cheap to eat gluten free. I let them know it made no sense and they needed to rethink that . As much as I liked their food, I didn't like their policy. I now eat at another restaurant in Endicott where this is not an issue and the food is just as delicious if not more.
Veal Parmigiana was great. I had meatball sub with some sort of chips. Sub was very good. Chips were not- too salty, and way over cooked. Salad with veal was nice, enjoyed italian dressing- not too greasy. Bread for table was also nice. did not love the oil/seasonings .vs. butter but that is individual taste, nothing wrong. But- overall experience was very good, will go again. Waited on fast, accurate, and well mannered. Nice location. Thanks!
Great experience, atmosphere and wait staff were amazing. The food was good but in my honest opinion the sauce tastes like spaghetti O sauce. There's better options out there, but I also grew up with a Nonna that taught me a lot so I'm biased. Worth the stop.
Service was mediocre as was the food. Better than some places, worse than others. With my allergies, I was only able to have the Caesar salad with no croutons my fellow guest or rather disappointed in their meals. Also, portions were decent sized. Give it a try.
It's a pleasant restaurant with decent service -- waitstaff definitely makes a concerted effort to make customers comfortable or satisfied. Unfortunately, the quality of the food didn't match the quality of the environment or waitstaff. My salad, the Tony's grilled chicken salad, was decent enough, although drenched in more dressing than I prefer. However, the gnocchi my wife ordered was disappointing. It seemed more like spaetzle than gnocchi and the sauce, despite perhaps being made in-house, just seemed on par with out-of-the-jar sauces. I suppose this is also a matter of expectations. For a restaurant that looks as good as this one does, with the good waitstaff, it sets an expectation that the food will be a notch or two up as well. Probably would give it another try to see if it was just an off night. It's not a "bad place"; our expectations just may have been too high going in?
the atmosphere was nice and a couple people were friendly others were just there doing their job not speaking or smiling. the carrot cake wasn't bad but I was expecting more . it was kind of bland but edible.the pizza was good but the crust ( specifically the bottom wasn't crispy as I would like and putting it in the air fryer for a few minutes didnt help the bottom to crisp up any.
Pizza was great at one point, the help, not so much. Asked for square cut on a couple pies for a business function. Guy said they didnt do that...? Was rude and conceited. I got uncut to do it myself and never went back. Personal pride Can & Will kill a business.
Have not been here in a long time. Asked to sit in a booth. Was told there was none available, even though there were plenty that were empty. Was sat at a half booth table. It was wobbly. My friend ordered a personal pizza. It took 20+ minutes. my food had come out.I waited for hers to eat. Asked to have mine reheated bc it was cold due to waiting for friends meal. Our server took it and came back 3 mins later, still cold. It was never warmed. Server was not friendly in the least. I will not waste my money here again.
