Bryan's Poco Toco Ozona Reviews
Order anything you can’t go wrong it’s all delicious.
Breakfast burritos cooked to order, always good.
This is one of my very favorite spots! We always plan our trip with Poco Taco for lunch on the way to the ranch!!
Very large selection of tasty tacos! My favorite is the avocado chalupa.
Don’t open until 8. Ozona is a sleepy town but a burrito at seven would have been nice. Just passed through.
Great food. Try a #4 or a #10 Best hot sauce I've ever had.
Beyond the best. #4 with cheese. My husband grew up here and now anytime we pass through or go to ozona we must stop
Its a wonderful taco/barrito house with hand made deliciousness inside.
I love their bean rice and cheese burritos
Cheap and incredibly tasty food, not to mention kind and quick service. Could not recommend this place enough.
Beyond the best we make sure this is a must when we go to ozona or even pass through. My goodness loves the #4 with cheese
Loved that they had vegetarian options!! Super quick and really delicious.
Eat here now! Bryan's everything you want in a family-run taco shop. You won't be disappointed.
Food is real good looking forward always to eating at Bryans ! Continue Blessings to this business!
Great place for great burritos , a must have when passing through Ozona Texas .
Good authentic food, great service, and the young man working the counter was very respectful.
Best bean and cheese burritos, and the salsa is so good, I take it like a shot of tequila.
Best burritos in town. Also the best combination nachos. Crispy tacos r delicious too!!
nice place and excellent taco's. I am regular customer for this place. Staff is very friendly. Highly Recommended.
They have good food. They have a good menu to order from. My favorite are the nacho's and the #10.
Quiet dining not very many people. So it was nice service, good food
I stopped by on my way to Big Bend and ordered an egg and barbacoa breakfast burrito. It was so delicious that I stopped again on my way back home to order another one. Unfortunately they were closed for the day. Definitely worth a visit should you find yourself in Ozona.
Homemade tortillas, fresh ingredients, & delicious salsa...this place is amazing!! Also, the staff is always so friendly and accommodating. Don't go through Ozona without stopping here.
Their burritos are amazing!!! The #10 is my favorite along with the #4 :) hot sauce isn't at all hot, but it has a great flavor!
The breakfast tacos were delicious! Huge portions, friendly staff, great salsa. Would definitely recommend!
Love me some bryan poco taco never disappoints, you may have to wait in line for a bit being that it's the most popular restaurant in ozona but soooooo worth it thanks Bryan n ladies yal are doin awesome!
They have a drive thru which is a plus when you're on a road trip! The breakfast tacos were delicious
Great little local spot! I've never had a issue with the food and the workers are extremely nice. You'll see all the HS kids come here during their lunch break
Good, clean, wholesome restaurant. Tacos were fresh and homemade. I will be stopping by again, as I travel the area.
The who is terrific there it's a very clean place I don't think I need to change you because the food there is very good tried the barbacoa burritos but there's also a lot of more things you can eat try it and let me know I'm pretty cure you going to like it have a nice day 👍
Fantastic homemade Mexican food. Fresh ingredients. Family owned business. By far the best place to eat in Ozona TX.
Stopped in while driving from Alpine to Houston. Breakfast burritos with homemade tortillas were excellent. Great stop!
One of the greatest burrito places on the planet #10 is Da Bomb fajita burrito off the chancla, people are great n amazing an that's an understatement there so much better beyond that so check it out!!!
Great food, great prices, great service.. We live in New Mexico and know Mexican food... 5 stars!!
The burritos and salsa are delicious! Great service and little wait time. Also, very close to the I10 .
Walking from the high school for lunch! Love the must to eat food when in Ozona!!
So good! We stopped off the interstate and this was the perfect authentic foods to fill us up at an awesome price.
Well worth a stop out of your way to eat here. Some of the best tacos I’ve ever had!
One of the best names for a Tacos place Original Sauce They sell crispy tacos and burritos Bryan was not there but Bryan Jr. was Has place to park and a beautifull sight to a park
Stopped here on a cross country motorcycle trip. Authentic, speedy mexican food. Staff super friendly! Would recommend :)
My family stopped in here on the way to Big Bend. The food was excellent. We will make this a regular stop when we are travelling I-10.
The food was delicious. They prepared it made to order on most items. The chimichanga was delicately fried with the shredded beef perfectly cooked. The breakfast item had many choices of items to complement the egg in the tortilla. I requested guacamole and received a pleasantly surprisingly large cup of freshly mashed avacado with chunks rather than a liquid sauce. It appears to be a family business as the person at the counter called the person cooking " Mom ". There were several young ladies ( l think they were local students ) that were also enjoying the Mexican cuisine. We also enjoyed the beef barbacoa and the #10 ( shredded beef ). The people at the service station recommended this place. I also recommend viewing the park across the street which has several historic statuaries including D. Crockett ( this is in Crockett County, City of Ozona ).
I stop at the Poco Taco every time I make a West Texas trip. The tacos are good, simple and have yet to fail me. If you drive from Austin to Alpine/Marfa/Fort Davis you need to eat a taco or two here before you fill up on gas. Get an order of cheese fries as well.
The drive thru line always takes forever and is a little awkward to navigate, but it's always worth it. Tacos are big and fresh!
Went here on the way from Houston to El Paso town. Loved it! Barbacoa was so simple and good. I was born and raised in Texas but living outside of it now for close to 20 years, and this place reminded me of all the good food my mom, abuelitas and tias Made growing up.
These ladies crush it. Stopped in to pick up food for a tour group on the road and I couldn't have been easy to deal with. I had a big order, made special requests, changed the order multiple times, and couldn't keep a call on the line. They nailed every detail and worked with me each time I added or changed. Food was delicious and inexpensive. If you need a stop on your haul through west Texas, this is the spot!
Drive through was great for highway traveling. The breakfast burritos are really good and the hot sauce wasn’t too spicy and had great flavor
Really good lunch stop to take a break from the Interstate. We stopped here after Big Bend after reading some prior reviews. As a bonus the Ozona Town Square was across the street to eat at, which was welcomed as we had a doggie with us. The food was really good. Chips and Salsa are now an addiction. I had a couple burritos and left satisfied. Will stop in next time.
Food and service was outstanding! We had to make it to another town a few hours away, but got some lunch really quick; it only took about 5 minutes for our food to come out. Was very impressed on how welcoming everybody was + how good the food was.
On a road-trip I decided to get some quick local food and google led me to Bryan's Poco Taco. First thing I noticed about this small place was the old building. Look, I'm from southern NM so a restaurant in an ancient building is nothing new. There was new paint on the wall and colorful decorations around; It shows me you take pride in what you have and I respect that. The kitchen is wide open for anyone to see which in my opinion is a plus. The cashier was manned by the owner's son (I believe) and he was extremely polite and friendly. The prices were very good for the food I got (#11 Taco Burrito) which I purchased at the recommendation of the polite young man behind the counter. The food was very tasty! Nothing about my experience was negative. If my wife and I are somehow travelling through Ozona, TX again we will make it a tradition to stop at Bryan's Poco Taco
Quick take out, set up is cute, the ladies were quick and made our burritos right fresh and juicy. For the price we paid the quality was great.
Stopped here at 1130am, they served both breakfast and lunch menus. Sit down or drive thru. Fast friendly service and excellent food! Tortillas are freshly prepared, soft and warm. Highly recommend!
Outstanding! In the sad sack town of Ozona, at the main crossing lights is a corner shop of deliciousness. Its so affordable, fresh and sweetly delivered by lovely staff. Order anything, its all super fresh and tasty. Not quite homemade but very tasty and enjoyable.
I was at this place yesterday morning for a breakfast and all I can say this is a must if you are driving either direction on I-10 by Ozona. I tried the bean burrito with avocado and I had to ask for three more. It was so delicious and tasty. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Don’t miss it, this is a great place for a burrito!
Fantastic quality and a fast drive thru with quality fresh food! We had the chorizo breakfast burrito and a bacon breakfast burrito. We will make this a regular stop when traveling through the area again!!
Joyce and I had breakfast burritos. The flour tortillas were handmade fresh as was the hot sauce. Excellent, friendly, good service. Very good food!
Best burrito place in Texas, wait best burrito place in America!!! Edit: so you know the burritos are good if your willing to wait 40minutes to get something that’ll take 5minutes to eat.. wish they had more workers to speed the line up
A quick stop on my way from San Antonio to El Paso. Although it looks small, it has great food and service. I recommend any flour tortilla burrito. They are a good size and great price.
This place is super good (handmade tortillas!). The breakfast burritos were big for the price. I got two and finished both but would've been fine with one.
Great food, super friendly, and fast! 4 of us ate lunch for $22! If you make the I-10 drive a lot this place is a lifesaver because as you know what little is between San Antonio and El Paso is mostly terrible fast-food. This place could hold its own anywhere but is an oasis on that stretch of I-10.
Hey Pocos, come get some excellent Tacos! Driving through this town I had to stop in after seeing this classic old building! They didn’t disappoint! Great food that is hard to find in larger cities! Definitely a 5 star place with 5 star service and food.
Incredible joint we stumbled upon, half way between Houston and New Mexico. Food was awesome. Combo burrito and Fajita Salad were big winners, but the champion of the day was the pizza burrito I convinced them to fry up like a chimichanga. Winner.
Bryan was so friendly! Right from the start he came outside and found us a place to park our RV so as not to block traffic.
We went through the drive-through and got the bacon, egg, and cheese burritos, with a coffee and a diat Coke. Freshness was the first thing we noticed, so wonderful. Now the salsa was out of this world!
Seriously the best chorizo and egg I’ve ever had in my life. Amazingly friendly staff. Has WiFi.
Lovely staff and delicious burritos. Worth the stop along 10 West.
My guacamole tostadas were very good, and all the ladies who work there treated me awesome. I'll stop there on my way back to San antonio.

Super good place! This unassuming taco place has tasty, inexpensive, food, including burritos and tacos with homemade tortillas. The burritos are small and are priced like tacos so that you can order more items or control portion size easily. Their tortilla was one of the best I've ever had and I have lived in Arizona and New Mexico for many years.
Local roadside taco spot If you're in a hurry during lunch time don't go through the drive-thru. The tacos are juicy and very delicious. I would not suggest trying to drive and eat them.
We got breakfast burritos here. The food was good and the prices make us happy 🙂 Kind people work here.
It just don't get any better than this place. Any time we drive from northern Arkansas to here we ALWAYS put this spot on our list. The very best homemade tortillas and salsa. We absolutely love the breakfast burritos. I always get ham egg and cheese and my family gets everything. Never disappoints and they are very kind when you ask for extra salsa. (It takes me 6 salsa to eat 1 Burrito because it's so delicious)
A great road stop and excellent breakfast tacos. The Asado Verde with egg was fantastic. Highly recommend a stop. Nothing fancy and a faded sign. Don’t let that turn you away from good food!
Got breakfast tacos on my way back to San Antonio, from California after getting out of the Marine Corps. These were the best ones I've had in a very long time. From the salsa, to the tortilla, and everything inside. Most definitely gonna go out of my way to swing back around if I'm ever in this area again.
If you are looking for some good authentic Mexican burritos, this is the place , quick and friendly place, Dine in, take out or drive through!!

Fresh taste.. fries n cheese could be better. If you are use to jalisco taqueria, you will be slightly disappointed. Very friendly staff who understand English.
I got told afterward this was a chain restaurant, I got the chili & cheese burrito & it tasted great. Friendly & fast service, yummy for those hungry.
It was a decent place for a quick breakfast. A good selection of fillings for burritos and tacos.
Good tacos on homemade tortillas. They are definitely more of a burrito size than a taco size. One per person is enough for sure.
Very speedy service. Our whole family enjoyed the food. The chicken was a little dry. The hot sauce was very hot! Excellent homemade tortillas. I was a little disappointed that there was no public restrooms, as we were on a road trip, but it is a tiny little place. Good value for the money. And no, we did not get sick.
Cheap, no frills breakfast burritos.
It was just ok. Would go back. Good service
Cheap, no frills breakfast burritos.
Good burritos, but how in the world does it take so long to make one? You can sit in that drive thru line for 30 min or more.

We only got the beef tacos so maybe we didn't order the right thing. They were cheap but a little bland
Not what I was expecting, it wasn't horrible, but the food was just a little bland and the drive thru needs some work, the menu could use an update.
Wife liked the Gorditas. The chicken burrito/taco was ok. Order/charged us for 2 but only got 1. :( Got it to go. Chicken tasted boiled. Need to marinate and grill. Corn tortilla option would be nice. Only had flour.
Chicharones are supposed to be cooked before they go into a burrito. I got a burrito with hard chicharones and beans
This was disappointing. It was promising to see a family run Mexican restaurant and it got my hopes up. The quality of the food was a let down.
Mediocre tacos, not much flavor. A bit disappointed considering the great reviews.
It's a very and messy set up with a couple tables and a drive thru. I asked the young man at the counter if the beef was shredded or ground he said he didn't know but thinks it was shredded so another lady turns around and says it's ground. I asked to use their bathrooms and I had to walk through the break room and then the kitchen then the back room to get to the bathroom and it didn't have any soap to wash my hands with 🤔. I had the pizza burrito. It was... Interesting it was decent but would be better if there wasn't so much pepperoni because that's all you tasted.
I got chorizo and egg with bean , well the food has no flavor , for $10 bucks they should at least be decent. The tortilla no good either
Upon first walking in, I was impressed with the cheap prices and friendly service, but that all changed when I tasted the food. The crispy shell beef taco tasted nearly identical to one I could find at Taco Bell, for 50¢ less. The bean burrito was ok, but nothing to write home about— there’s nothing particularly special about refried beans inside a tortilla. The Barbacoa burrito was quite disappointing as the bland meat tasted like it was just slow cooked with no marinade. The touch of pico de Gallo helped add a little flavor, but no where near enough to make up for the flavorless meat. I asked for hot sauce and was given a container but the sauce was anything but hot. I poured a whole container on the burrito and it barely added any kick. The salsa also did not taste fresh. The fajita burrito was not any better- it looked disgusting and did not taste much better, even after trying to add some flavor with the hot sauce. The only part of my meal I appreciated was the tortillas, which were excellent. They were fluffy, perfectly cooked, and tasted fresh. I hope they can apply this to their other food, but until then I don’t plan to return.

If you're from anywhere Mexican food matters, DO NOT GO HERE. Bland. Cold in the middle burritos. I cannot believe this place has the rating it does. I'm so annoyed.
We stopped at this place on our way to back to El Paso because it had good reviews. This place does not deserve even two stars. Food was horrible and expensive. I could've gotten better tacos at Taco Bell. Taco shells were stale and the fries did not look fried but microwaved. On top of that the coke machine was not working so it was either tea or water bottles we were carrying with us. I asked for the gordita plate and it was 3 dollars and change, but the gordita plate came with only ONE gordita! My son ordered a "chalupa" and was given a tostada with beef . That's what they call a chalupa. It was more than 3 dlls for that tostada. Wish we would've stopped at McDonald's. Food would've tasted better than that dump!!
The ladies working there were very nice and the service was great. However, within 30 minutes, we all were sick to our stomachs, to the point of needing emergency bathroom breaks all at the same time. The fact that all of us got sick immediately is proof that we got food poisoning. Eat here at your own risk. I feel bad about this because she was so nice, but it was just such an obvious case of improper food handling that I just had to review it.
I ordered tacos with corn tortillas. Lady said they only had hard shell tacos. That raised a red flag, but I ordered anyway. Just as I thought, these are NOT real Mexican style street tacos. NOT EVEN CLOSE. They were hard shell, with shredded cheese & lettuce. No different than Taco Bell. It’s mind boggling they would serve this slop, so CLOSE to the Mexican border! My theory is that the 1st/2nd/3rd gen Mexicans move to the larger cities, or deeper into the US. While the 8th/9th/10th generation of ‘Tejanos’ are more likely to speak mixed Spanglish, and less likely to make real Mexican food the Mexican way & more likely to make it like Taco Bell. It would make for an interesting academic study of cultural shifts. IMO.
