I have been to a lot of Sonic's and this was by far the best of them. When I walked in I was impressed by the cleanliness first off (yes this is a slightly different Sonic no car hops more like a typical fast food restaurant)we went in at a slow time and the employees were not standing around they were working and cleaning on things. We were greeted with smiles and a friendly staff. The food was outstanding best Sonic ever! Thank you Jacob and crew we will definitely be back!

Manger is an awesome #2A supporter so automatically gets a 5 star. I felt totally safe in the store knowing the manger had our backs. The food was awesome hopefully one day I can come back.

What a very cool unusual indoor Sonic! First one I've ever seen like this and also has an indoor playground. We didn't eat here, but charged our Tesla nearby.

We stopped here while driving through on a road trip. The play area was closed which was disappointing, but they had a tesla supercharging station in the parking lot while was perfect.

1st time in a Sonic that had only inside dining and no car hops. This place is great and the service was amazing! Thanks Josh for being an awesome employee. That guy needs a raise.

I believe the drive thru person was running the entire store single-handedly. Patient and kind wins every time! Best Sonic burger I've ever had. The strawberry lemonade tasted a little like diet though. Son loved the hot dog.

It felt wrong pulling up to a Sonic Drive-In with no drive-in spots. Turns out I didn’t know what I have been missing and I have seen the light ✨👼🏻 The indoor Sonic was a wondrous respite from the brutal West Texas sun torching our little-engine-that-could of a car traveling back to civilization from Big Bend. 🚙 ⛰ ☀️ It would have been a pleasant Sonic experience under normal circumstances, but the Sonic corporate office gods in OKC used their beautiful brains to craft a concoction that is unparalleled in the fast food universe — the Red White & Blue Slush Float. Visually stimulating and equally refreshing, this drink made me feel proudly American and gave me a summer-time high like a kid in the Sandlot. 🇺🇸 😎 ⚾️ Thank you, Sonic ✌🏻

This little town doesn't have much to offer for restaurants, we went to sonic because it was very close to the hotel. I was expecting mediocre fast food but this was better. I got a crispy chicken and it was very good. I had stopped eating fast food because it is always so disappointing since the pandemic, but this sonic was very good. My hubby got a burger, and was also pleasantly surprised. Would go back.

Great place to stop if you’re charging your Tesla. This is the best Sonic I’ve been to. Most are super slow and food is not generally good but this one is the exception. Service was great, food was great and served fast, eating area was clean, and this place was well staffed. Outside area was clean as well.

At a certain time in the evening is my perfect time to eat at sonic it’s calm quiet and every employee is nice and friendly the food comes out hot and fast and dinnertime is awesome. Not only this time of day but I’ve never had a bad time when I eat out at sonic. I think all the employees are great. That’s why I give 5 stars I’ve never had a bad meal nor bad employee. Stopped in midway on way to Alpine, would suggest to stop in here before proceeding to Stockton or Junction either way as both are 1.5hrs apart and there's nothing on the way between them. Friendly staff quick service, Food tasted somewhat blant but didnt mind given the location but could've have been better if someone making note of feedback. Suggested stops in Ozona.

I love sonic. They do have excellent food. Pricing is fair. The lady who took my order was kind of rude & not as friendly as she should have been. But I'm willing to let that slide.

I gave i 4 instead of 5 because they messed up my order and also Sonic is known for being a DRIVE IN not a dine in. And that was odd to me yet it was neat. My family did like it though. The food was average. That lady didn't pay much attention when taking our order though.

The nicest Sonic we've been too. The only complaint is the parking lot is not big rig (RV) friendly. Large tree branches block an exit. However someone was there trimming trees. Hopefully they'll take care of this.

I’ve stopped here twice. I thought it was amusing to have a sit down inside sonic with a play place. The first time we tried to eat here they were seemingly out of everything. Not completely sure why they were still open. The second time the AC was out, it was miserable inside, and the employees very obviously didn’t want to be there. Can’t blame them but maybe they should’ve closed then too. Maybe third times a charm?

Never seen an indoor Sonic. Looked like an old McDonald's or something. But pretty cool. Staff was friendly, but definitely dated or green. We were road tripping and it wasn't bad. Pretty clean.

Food was great; used drive thru. Only one person working. Long wait for our food. Kudos to lady hustling to get our order she was very nice.

This is a unique Sonic with significant indoor seating. It looks like a converted circa-2010 McDonald's including an indoor playground. The playground was closed when we visited, probably due to covid. The food was tasty. However, it took over 15 minutes for the food to be prepared and brought out. There did not seem to be a sense of urgency among the kitchen staff. There were also errors in the sauces included with the food - wrong chicken dipping sauce and ketchup instead of salsa.

Its about what to expect from A sonic minis the fact they have to stalls ( pretty sure it was once A McDonald's). They have a drive through plus seating and A kids play pin.

Food was good. Got put drinks wrong, but they made it right. They were friendly and relatively fast. Also, if you care, there is charging for electric cars at this location.

Stopped here to charge the car. The play place was closed. But still had shakes while waiting.

Came here for the Tesla charger and figured I would grab a bite to eat. My kids were bummed that the playground was closed. There were tacky signs everywhere saying no free refills and a number of other policies changes that felt unnecessary. Out of all the ways to save money cutting free refills for soda that is usually cheaper than the cup seems petty. I was going to rate this place lower because the atmosphere is rough but they made a solid burger. The few times I’ve been to sonic for food have been unremarkable so to get some decent food was a nice surprise. I would come back again.

Unusual Sonic with indoor seating and no car ports. I passed through the drive through. It went fine but I think it's employed by a bunch of kids. Struggled to get my order correct. Food was just okay.

Waited over 20 minutes after ordering with no one in line. I recommed always checking your bag to make sure you get what you paid for. Drive through shorted us a super sonic cheeseburger. Good thing we opened the bag while at the window. I had to knock on the glass to get her attention. When she finally answered, and stopped texting, she said she would have to check. I showed her the receipt for 2 burgers and only received 1. Had to wait almost 10 more minutes to get the rest of our order. The guy behind me was getting mad but what can you do. We are dependant on the employees working there to get it right. The least they could do is apologize. She just handed me the bag and closed the window. I know that one review will not make a difference, but at least I didn't have to drive back from home. It frustrates me with the increased cost of food, it does not necessarily increase the level of service you are provided.

Honestly, better than I expected. The lady who helped us was super friendly and made the experience great. Since the coffee wasn't fresh, she made a new pot. Plus they serve Green Mountain coffee, which I like.

Location was extremely busy on Spring Break weekend. Regardless of the crowd, the service was pretty good, and food came out after only a few minutes at the table. This location has an indoor play park, which was popular with the tons of kids traveling during spring break. Cleanliness of the restaurant could not be gauged since people were coming in and out faster than they could possibly clean up after them. But the location appeared to be in decent condition.

Has an indoor playground, Glad to have this place with a long drive with kids! That said, the playground is in need of a referb, holes in the netting and dirty not filthy. Good food, Fresh and fast.

We walked in as a big group and definitely overwhelmed the employees, so the long wait time made sense. But the food wasn't great, my vanilla shake just tasted like frozen milk, the mozzarella sticks were weirdly bland even with the marinara, and the chicken strips were more like nuggets but there were a lot of them, so I guess it evened out. I also saw the cashier handling cards/money and then touching the tots and other food with her bare hands, so there's that

It was one of the only options in town to choose from. Used the drive thru to order but still took a while. Two other vehicles left the line after ordering.

The food was fine and the servers actually did just fine. But then I saw a regular, apparently, walk up to a large bucket with sanitizer in it - when was on top of a trash can - and dunked his hands in there before starting in on lunch. The place could do with paint touch ups and a few renovations, and my daughter was sad that the play area was closed for renovations.

oh, Ozona. We travel through this area twice a year, often stopping at Ozona or Sonora for a driver change and a bite to eat. Consistently, over the years, we have been let down by the places we stop in Ozona. From rude employees to dirty bathrooms, disappointment seems to be the theme. I do not say this lightly. Our last visit to Ozona was probably our last. The straw that broke the camels back was our stop at Sonic. We ordered online and waited in one of their designated parking spots. The app said 6 minutes but when the employee brought the food, it was 15 minutes, strike one. Strike two: we are vegetarians and we come to sonic because they have options we can choose to not include meat. We chose the supersonic breakfast burrito. We deselected the meat and jalepenos. So, you can imagine our surprise when as we are driving 80 mph on I-10, we both bite into CHUNKS OF BACON in our burritos. Bacon is not even a component of this item in the first place. For hungry vegetarians, meat surprises like this are pretty disgusting. I know it's hard to keep franchises staffed in little towns and I imagine the workers at this store were just overwhelmed or over-worked as so many service-industry people are these days. And for that, I have empathy but I would be remiss if I didn't share this review. I wish these people better days. We won't be returning, sadly.

I can't properly rate and food experience because I did not eat here. I stopped used the restroom and wanted to check out a sonic with a play pen. Small little town in Texas, I guess you can't expect very high standards of cleanliness. Everything was run down and just gross. The person handing out the food was not using any kind of hand washing or proper cross contamination protocols. But the place seemed busy. Just would definitely recommend washing your hands if stoping here and maybe skipping your meal to a different place.

Solid 2 star establishment. Cashier and manager were appreciably friendly. Food came out slow and cold but previously cooked. Decorated loyally with local school district mascot and colors. Hope they figure out the fast part of the fast food because they're so friendly.

We ordered 7 meals and the lady taking our order spoke extremely slow and needed us to repeat parts of our order because she couldnt take too much information too fast. The food came out room temperature ..there was no heat to our burger pattied...fries were starting to become stale. Don't recommend!

The food was typical Sonic food & staff was polite, no issues with our order. But since this Sonic is an actual fast food Restaurant like a McDonalds with a kids inside play area, table chairs to eat at as opposed as their usual carhop style restaurants, the expectation should be a well kept/clean restaurant, but it was no where near clean, tables, floors, inside play area, & restrooms were FILTHY! Very disappointed.!

We went there for the indoor playground, because we'd been on the road all morning and there aren't many places to stop and let the kids out to stretch play on interstate 10. If the weather is warm, just take your kids to the playground on the other side of the interstate. Because this one was real gross. My kid took off her shoes and refused to go get them-- so I had to go in there-- where I saw three separate half eaten hamburgers strewn throughout the place. Part of one in amongst the play pit balls. Gag. But the staff was friendly and the food was typical Sonic fare-- if you like Sonic, the food was good quality.

Have to add another negative review to the bunch. From the start the first sign we should of turned around and walk out was the restaurant didn't have a working Women's restroom. So the On Duty Manger hollers out , Yeah just use the men's that's what we've been doing. So my daughters and wife have to resort to using the Men's room with me standing guard at the door to make sure no men walk in on them. Next our order came out but we didn't have our drinks yet. I went to the drink counter to let the On Duty Manager that we already received our food but no drinks yet. She then told me, We're backed up we'll get to them. What I didn't understand was why were the drink and ice cream orders place after us were coming out before our fountain drink orders? Bad experiance all around very unorganized and unprofessional.

Went through the drive thru the first time. After giving me my order had to wait another couple of minutes to ask for napkins and was given 2 napkins and an eye roll by the girl at the window. Okay, maybe she was having a bad day. Not sure. Didn't mean to offend by asking for napkins. We parked and looked at our order which was wrong. Went through the drive through again paid for another burger, made sure it was correct before leaving drive through and told the same cashier she could throw the original burger away. She didn't ask what was wrong. Offer an apology or anything. Didn't say thank you when handing me the new order and just let the old burger sit in the drive through window. Not the best experience by a long shot.

Ok so we are staying in the area at a motel…. So we went twice in one day. For lunch and then went back for a frozen drink. The first time we had a woman maybe in her 50s, very nice. But the second time!! What the actual heck! I felt like I was transported back to high school. 3 younger girls I got a dirty look from each of them to start with. Then the girl that handed me my food had THE WORST attitude. Wouldn’t even look or talk to me. If you can’t handle customer service then get yourself a new job!!! Fire these little girls and hire people who can handle handing someone a drink without attitude. Pathetic

Not the best Sonic out there. Usually I enjoy there food but the quality wasn't the greatest at this location. There were also quite a few flies buzzing around, which got annoying quickly. Most of their business probably relies on single-visit motorists passing through on the Interstate and there attention to that shows.

It's very sad that this sonic has gone down hill . The food now has become very poor in quality and is really trashing the Sonic name ..... I can not believe that , Yes the management would have resolved the issue I have but how many times does the management have to refund ,replace or just give a meal away because the cooks do not know how to change grease in a fryer or just chose not to or follow times on cook of fryer foods . This location has a bad track record of may or may not get what you order and or how you want your food made an usually its not made the way you ordered it . So Christmas eve night my daughter wanted to spend her money here A number 7 good Ole Chilli Cheese Coney with Onion Rings . One item they have been famous for when I was growing up a Chilli Cheese Coney . She ate half of it and the onion Rings were destroyed almost completely Black looking and were very nasty . The Coney did not even have mustard on it . This place needs a complete retraining on Cooks along with a QC on every shift ......

They took the entire drive - in experience away. This one was very slow. Food fair, but like I said, people go to Sonic for a reason. Every fuggin place has a drive thru, even funeral homes. But a drive in.. well.. thats what make Sonic Sonic. Food was hot. Fresh. Good. I come for the Blast.

We sometimes stop at this location when returning to SA from New Mexico. This visit, service was ok, but lady who took out order was not friendly. When we placed our order, we asked about ingredients and her response was sarcastic. So, no refills? What ? Stingy on the ketchup? Place was really cold inside, and not very clean. Did not feel welcome there.

Restrooms are unfortunately very dirty and have an aroma of urine. The service is extremely slow, employees will chat and hang out right in front of you. Had one cook talking about his Facebook, not knowing that he was the cook and I was the only cook. He finally got to my burger 20 mins later.

Better off to have granola bars, or canned meat. My coworker and I headed here only because DQ was unavailable. The wait was not super long, and my order mostly came out how I wanted it. I rate them two stars because my coworker sent his sandwich back after requesting no mayo. This is a common thing in West Texas. Staff usually are younger folks getting their chops, I understand. He sent it back for a new number five. Usually comes with cheese and bacon, his literally came with only the chicken breast, which I snagged a photo, and out of understanding, allowed him some cheese I had for a rather delicious pretzel. And I don’t know what the deal was. He was polite, I was kind of obnoxious. My order came as I asked, if not with a small wait. His order took ten minutes to prepare. Don’t go here. Not unless you are starving, and even then, from reviews it looks like wait time for food is a problem.

Difficult to find entrance. Only 3 people staffing restaurant, which resulted in slow service. Corn dog batter was far too sweet. Unlikely to go to any Sonic again.

Indoor playground is closed and looks like it’s been closed awhile. You can tell from the upkeep this is pretty run down. Ceiling floor tiles hanging, door missing from the playground altogether, signs say no refills, you have to ask twice for sauce. Just saying, they aren’t fixing the playground anytime soon if at all. I don’t know why they have 12 Tesla charging stations. Workers are super nice. Across the highway there is a park with shade if you need a spot for little ones on your travel. The shade must be new bc the pics on here don’t show it.

I can smoke pork ribs in less time than it takes to go through the drive through at this location. If you're looking for a place to waste an entire afternoon, then this is the place!

Stopped on our way to San Antonio wasn't greeted upon entry, the 4 people ahead of us weren't greeted either, which resulted in all of them walking out. We used the app, and STILL waited 55 mins to get our food, after we arrived! Then the crew acted like we were inconveniencing them & were very unfriendly. Dining area was filthy, play area was sticky everywhere. Restrooms dirty.

The absolute worst fast food experience I've ever had. Employees have a horrible attitude. They had no ice cream. There was a little boy walking around in the kitchen eating french fries, not one employee was wearing a hair net or hat. I counted seven flies on the counter while I waited for my drink. I desided not to order food because the restaurant was not dirty it was FILTHY. The attitude and conditions of the restaurant made Ozona look like the croch of Texas. I will never be stopping in Ozona for any of my travel needs as I travel to El Paso for business.

Seriously feel hair nets should be worn. It is so disappointing when you're hungry and you find a long black wavy hair amongst your fries. I only wonder if it was an unnoticed fallen hair or if it was placed with the fries, the way it was entwined with the fries it almost looked deliberately. $ down the trash, not to mention the upset stomach just at the sight. GROSS!!!!! Even one star was too much.

I was recommended by the Hampton Inn staff to go here, but to hurry because they close at 10pm. So I drive over, and as the kids see me driving up, I see them make a dash for the store lights and shut it down like their life depended on it. Thought it was weird, but tried the front door anyway. It was already locked. Looked at my phone. It was 9:10. It was pretty funny after the fact how much effort was put into closing almost an hour early.

Horrible horrible horrible experience. I spent $33 at this sonic my children’s burgers where ice cold.. I ordered happy meals that were supposed to come with apple sauce only received 1 apple sauce for the 3 happy meals no toys me and my wife’s fries are cold as well I’m surprised this particular Sonics even exist and is still operational wish I could give no stars! If your passing through this little town skip this Sonics Cold food No mask Employees apparently have a hard time doing their jobs It’s a hard NO for me !!!

Horrible horrible! We were driving through Ozona TX! Family of 5 hungry decide to stop at sonic! Everything Started good we order, the guy that took our order did great but then we waited around like 20 minutes or more for our order. While waiting we just heard all this employees talking and laughing and playing around! So we decide to go check to see if they were almost done with our food! Turns out! Our food was ready but just sitting there all this time! Everything was gross and cold! And they didn’t even get the order right! The managers should be ashamed of what a horrible job they are doing with managing this location!! They had nooo people at alll waiting or eating there and they couldn’t even get one order Right!!

Not commenting about food or service, since I only used the nasty restroom due to an emergency. Call me crazy, but if the restroom is ultra dirty I won't eat at the location. The child play area was closed as well so kids couldn't burn off energy after being stuck in the car for hours.

Traveling through Texas we stopped because we love Sonic. We did not love this Sonic. The floor outside the restrooms was flooded & smelly. Someone threw a small towel in the water, maybe an attempt to contain it and there was a caution sign. Otherwise, there was no sense of urgency to clean it up. It was dangerously slippery. The restrooms were still open. I have never seen such a disgusting ladies room. Filth was caked around the base of the toilets and there was evidence that both toilets had overflowed. The restaurant should have been closed down. The very sweet manager apologized. When we left she closed the dine in area.

Food was okay but employees acted as if they didn’t want to be there. When I received my order, I was missing 2 fries and when I let the cashier know they were missing, he replied he didn’t know I wanted fries. Mind you, he charged me for combos! The place definitely needs some renovation, too.

I dislike pickle and I told him only lettuce and tomato and mayo that all where is bacon is missing!! Cashier is so lousy person!

Definitely not “fast food” or quality food. We were the only guest in the restaurant at lunch and it still took 25 minutes to get our order. Food was cold and bland. Two of the employees were taking turns going out to a vehicle in the parking lot. Not sure what that was about. More and more guest were arriving after we ordered. Most of them never got a chance to place an order because there was no one at the register. They all walked out. One of them asked “Should we go through the drive thru to get service?” There aren’t many fast food choices in Ozona, Tx so I guess we will try Dairy Queen next time.

What gives? You charge $3 for a drink and then charge another $1 for a refill? You charge for sauces...you are buckle and dining people to death. The average man can't even afford to eat here.

Stopped in as it was Tesla charging station. The place was pretty empty, so my husband and I ordered food and sat down. I guess the employees didn’t know we were still inside (or maybe they didn’t care) but they were having a loud conversation about how they were racist. My husband and I are both minorities, so we felt VERY uncomfortable

We stop here all the time going to San Antonio, upon arriving we placed our order, the employee wasn't very friendly. We received our food, the fries were old and sandwich was cold and tough. Everyone's tenders were warm with the same old fries. I got up to order a few sides and coffee. I asked the worker if they had fresh coffee and she said "no" without offering to make some, so I asked "can you make some?" Rolled her eyes went behind the wall mouthed something to the fountain worker who prepares the drinks and cashes me out. I turned to the side and saw their fruit Caddy. I don't EVER write poor reviews, but this is completely unsanitary moldy lemons that go into every cherry limeade, slush and Teas! I work in the food service industry, our patronage was more of an inconvenience this round, I know that fruit Caddy has not been washed and fruit has not been rotated properly. I hope this reaches the right person to educate employees on food safety and how to keep a clean station. These ingredients are put in drinks with lids, no one would know they're sipping on moldy dirty lemons, limes, cherries. Some people like to enjoy eating these after consuming their drink. I know all about the struggle to find employees who enjoy their job and want to work, I hope you're able to help these young ones find enthusiasm to take better care of your customers.
