Tea World Pacifica Reviews
This spot offers a wonderful selection of nigiri, sashimi, and creative rolls. Tried the Romeo & Juliet and Lion Queen rolls, both beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The agedashi tofu was perfectly crisp on the outside, silky inside, topped with delicate bonito shavings and served in a warm, not-too-sweet soyu broth, a comforting classic done right. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying, with thoughtful combinations that show real care in preparation
Had a wonderful time grabbing lunch here. We just happened to stumble here and it was great! Our server was fantastic, very attentive, and made us feel like we were getting a meal at a family members house. We had the curry, a dragon roll, and a California roll, they were all great! Thanks! We'll be back!
It took me a year to finally find a great sushi spot near Pacifica. My go to is a sushi party platter and it is always fresh, quickly made, and delicious! Staff is very helpful, doesn’t rush you and assists with finding the best option.
Came in on Friday for a late lunch and they hit it out of the park! We had the Nigiri Special with an Unagi Hand roll. It was the best Unagi Hand roll I’ve ever had! It he fish was perfectly prepared and fresh as could be. I will return as much as I’m able. THANK YOU!!!

The best sushi I ate ever. Incredibly delicious and fresh. Good service. The interior is very sparse and simple, in a very American style. But this didn't affect the pleasure and delight we received from the food.
took the family out and food was amazing . Doesn’t look like much on the outside of building but inside is nicely decorated. Had a bunch of vegetarian items as well. Friendly staff
Tempura Udon - proper temperature, excellent texture Udon noodles, simple and delicious broth. Tempura was 3 Sweet Shrimp, 2 sweet potato’s and 1 broccoli; all perfectly crispy panko. Yum! Definite value for the price.
Looking for something festive to share for a quiet Christmas Eve and suddenly thought can we get sushi delivered? Why, yes: yes we can! So we ordered online, it came, and it was awesome. We now have a new delivery tradition for next year. Thank you, thank you, thank you and happy holiday

Great sushi but poor services. There was only one server for the whole restaurant, and we had to ask to get our water refilled.. we spent over $250 on these foods, but honestly think we could have gotten better if we spent that much. The place is a little run down and hidden in the corner behind a gated door.
Found the restaurant accidentally when shopping next door at Oceana Market. Never noticed before that there is a Japanese restaurant as the entrance is somehow hidden. But then I spontaneously ate there and I must say: the food and the service people were both excellent. Just the interior was a little bit old fashioned. But that was for me not important as it was clean. I definitely will eat there again. Prize was alright.
I wasn't sure about the chirashi bowl I ordered at first as it didn't look too special, however I was won over by the solid, fresh pieces of fish. The service is a bit slow, even when there are not many people around. On the upside, it is spacious, a nice place to enjoy a meal with friends or chill by yourself.

We came here twice on our 5 day trip here and the service was…interesting both times but I don’t think it was personal lol. We took to go both times and seeing the interior I don’t think we missed out on much. The rolls were a generous portion for a good price

Honestly, I'm disappointed to say that some of the reviews here were right. The place looks decent and definitely gets crowded. I was helped with my to go order pretty fast. What bothered me was the specials menu they have was hard to read. I was placing my order from the menu. I was ordering the teriyaki 12 oz. Ribeye entree. He tells me no, that's wrong. We only have 8 or 10 oz. It wasn't updated. So we ordered: 1. Pork gyoza - I do not recommend this. It's worse than the frozen one you'd make at home. 2. Crab cheese puff - Do NOT order this. Something about it first bite, even second bite, you just know you're going to regret it. It didn't taste fresh, and the filling was sour. 3. Shrimp tempura roll - I wanted to try their sushi and wanted to keep it simple. This sushi had lettuce in it. I'd like to think I'm somewhat of a sushi connoisseur, but this is an abomination. 4. 2 item bento - short rib and tempura. It was sad. Meat only 3 pieces were given. Tempura, nothing special. It's kind of soggy and lacked flavor. 5. 10 oz ribeye - This was good. This was the only thing I liked out of the order. Honestly, I feel like there's no reason to even wanna give it another try next time.
The sushi was pretty good but the service was not that great! Even when they weren't busy it didn't seem like the staff wanted to be there. Service was slow and they don't let you sit at the bar. What kind of sushi place won't let you sit at the bar?

I went there for take out last week. Since I had arrived at the restaurant straight from the gym, I had no cash and I paid with my credit card. I normally tip in cash in the glass jar near the counter. After I signed the receipt without leaving a tip since I intended on tipping with cash, I went into my coin purse and realized I didn’t bring cash with me. I figured I go there so often I would just leave a bigger tip next time. As I walked away, my son heard her call me a cheap lady. He turned to her and told her that wasn’t nice. Even though we enjoy the food, that experience alone makes me not want to return there. I thought the lady was rude and unprofessional.

Kinda dissapointed. Wanted a spicy Ramen and they handed me chilli salt. The ramen tasted like top ramen and for what its worth the broth was hella watered down. I would say its filler food for the road. Could have just got something from the deli in the market next door not worth it.
The staples on the wall say it all. Super rude server but maybe she’s just having a bad day. Overall we were not impressed. Oh thank you for serving my child’s sprite into a beer glass. Just a really weird experience and kinda hilarious how little they try. The sushi is pretty good, just the service and wonderful ambience. If you want to eat here definitely take it to go and oh yea, don’t dare use the restroom.

Lowkey scammers, ordered two rolls online, got one and they were about to send me on my way so I checked it to confirm. Then they “fixed it” (they took half of the original roll back and replaced it with half of the second) I ended up getting like one roll for 20 bucks

I really like to support small businesses and family own restaurant's when I can. But this place is awful, I think it’s the worst sushi place I’ve ever had in the bay and I’ve been to a lot. After reading the reviews we were excited to try a new sushi place, but idk what the other people ate but it did not hold up, we got 3 rolls and a bento box, each plate was barely eatable, we couldn’t finish the bento box without feeling sick. Would stay far away, Safeway sushi tastes better than here :/
Great sushi really poor service. You have to get up and ask for help and nobody is here. One woman is very loud and seems to be more engaged with staff then customers This was my 2nd try and I’m out!!!
