Dog Haus Palmdale Reviews
Great food! I had a beef chili dog with cheese sauce and onions. I loved the fact that they use Kings Hawaiian rolls for the bun. Gave the chili dog a pleasantly different taste. Quality ingredients. The only negative for me was the seating. They use wooden topped stools inside so it got a little painful towards the end.
Got a little mule burger here, a touch on the pricey side but definitely a full meal in itself. Diced onions were added at $0.50, well worth it and paired with the avocado / jalapeño wonderfully. A great experience with quick, friendly service here. Would definitely considering coming back for Happy Hour - those deals are truly legit!
Always a great environment when I come here! Friendly and informative staff. I tried the the wings and hot fries today with chili and cheese sauce. 10/10 Had to get my old standby the bacon wrapped downtown dog. Rotating selection of beers is also a huge plus. Always something new to try.
One of our favorite informal bites in the AV. Dog Haus creates exciting world wide inspired variants of the classic dog by using high quality sausages and toppings. The "T-MEX" is a personal favorite, a vibrant beef chorizo and pepper jack sausage is complimented by the rich and creamy avocado. Pickled jalapenos and red peppers match up to the Haus slaw brilliantly. Everyone held together with a Hawaiian Roll, a little messy by the end but pure class! Veggie friendly Impossible variants of dogs and burgers are available also. Sides are a treat on their own with chilli cheese fries being a favorite of mine. The local beers on tap are a great addition and the service is always attentive and super friendly, active duty military discount is a fantastic gesture. Dining indoors is available with limited seating and there is an outdoor patio area. A great place to enjoy unique and high quality dogs!
Unfortunately the last tike I went they were closed for remodeling or something. Sort of bummed me out,l. But last time I ate there the food was a great, but a little slow. Bartender was a super cool (I sat at the bar with a fried). Its kind of a little too spirtsbarish for my my vibe, but the food is good enough I can overlook that. Just male sure you call or check online for the plamdale location as the sign didn't mention anything about estimated time of reopening. Plenty of other decent places to eat in the area, but if you are driving specifically for this one just double check.
Had a $25 coupon from the inkind app, my order was $30. The cashier/waitress was very kind and helpful. She helped with my transaction and answered every question I had with a smile. I don’t drink alcohol and I don’t eat beef but I was still able to order my chicken sandwiches with no problem. Just make sure you pay attention to the batter on your chicken (there’s a beer batter on some). The sandwiches were very good (some were a little too charred but yummy overall) Thank you.
The place seemed promising, but when I visited on a Tuesday afternoon, it was pretty quiet. The person who took my order was very nice. I liked the brioche bun on my hot dog, and the sausage was quite good. I wished i had ordered a side as the dog by itself wasn't a meal. Overall, it wasn't bad—nothing extraordinary—but if you're in the mood for funky hotdogs and a beer, this will satisfy that craving. For what I wanted—a funky hotdog—it did the job. I just wish there was more ambiance and that the hot dog came with sides.
The food is really good if it weren't for my first time expression of losing my tooth while eating a dog! I was enjoying my small hotdog that day and my temporary tooth fell out. The dog is small and I have a big mouth so I shoulda gotten two or three all at once. The foods great but screw my tooth for not letting me enjoy my four class meal. Update review august 3, 2023 The food still is quite good the chili needs some work tho but the food has the same quality which is always great. Wish it wasn’t as pricy but hey everything is now, and this to my tooth didn’t fall.
First time here the other day! To start, the location looked very clean and welcoming. They were not accepting card during our visit and we were notified as soon as we entered. Very inviting overall. Ordered a Rueben tots, Morty burger, Sooo Cali, and Wurst corn dog with a water cup to wash it all down. Water cup was a bad start as the water here did not taste very great. Good portions all around when food came out. Rueben tots were outstanding! All in all, I really do recommend you try this place out. I'm sure you'll find something you enjoy.
It was a cool little place, little dirty, but a different type of set up I would say. I didn't get sausage on a roll for some reason, but the sausage itself was SO good. Didn't bother to ask about the roll, the fries were also really good!
My husband and I visited for the first time on a Saturday morning around 9:30 AM. When we arrived, we were the only guests, which made sense since they had just opened at 9:00. A man and woman were inside. The man asked if we were picking up or ordering, and I replied, “We’d like to eat in.” He then pointed to a tablet on the counter where we were to place our order. After ordering, we noticed all the stools were still stacked on top of the tables. I hesitated, expecting someone to set up seating for us, but that didn’t happen, so my husband and I took the stools down ourselves. The sunlight was very bright at the tables, so we moved to the bar counter instead. The man working asked about our drinks and explained that the soda machine wasn’t ready yet since they had just opened, offering canned sodas instead. While I understand we were there within the first half hour of opening, I feel that being ready for customers is an important part of running a business. We ordered breakfast burritos, which came out quickly and were generous in size with good flavor. However, the music was very loud for a morning setting — not really my preference, though perhaps that’s the vibe they’re going for. Overall, the food was decent, but the customer service felt lackluster, and I didn’t feel especially welcomed. First impressions matter, and unfortunately, this one missed the mark. I prefer to spend my money at places where both the food and the service are good. I would not return.
The Mighty Have Fallen. This review is unfortunately, a long time coming. The quality from a few years ago to now has declined to below fast food grade quality. I've had Doghaus at multiple locations all over SoCal over the past 10 years and it has been amazing. One of my favorite burger spots of all time. But slowly over time, the quality declined. They started using cheaper meats, smaller portions, etc. I put up with it and just blamed it on covid and I guess "it's hard out here for everybody." But Today was the last straw. I got a hangover and soo Cali dog for pickup. Half my burger was damn near raw, and the soo Cali hot dog was very clearly the cheapest frank they could find in the meat section at food 4 less. These hotdogs used to be very high quality, and if I can tell it's cheap on the first bite, something is very wrong here. I've also never gotten a raw burger before so that definitely pisses me off too that I wasted my money on half a burger. It also places into question the quality of everything else. If they don't even care to cook the meat properly, what else are they skimping out on? Quality has gone down to or even below fast food grade. And no, putting crap meat in a Hawaiian roll doesn't make it any better. ESPECIALLY at these prices. Definitely won't be coming back here to waste my money again. Time to find a new favorite burger spot. What a shame.
